supporting_evidences Marc Siegel: 'Well, my interview with him, he came across as quite serious, very studied and informed...' Marc Siegel: 'I think he's linking, in my interview, chronic disease with eating the wrong foods. He calls food a medicine. I agree with that.' Marc Siegel: 'Yeah, it's not that anywhere is in great shape, but we're far worse off than Europe, for example...And I think we have far more additives. And some of these additives are addictive.' Marc Siegel: 'We have this outbreak because of unvaccinated children...community immunity.' Marc Siegel: 'What he was trying to say...is that malnutrition is linked to bad outcomes or severe disease in people...If people are malnourished and have a vitamin A deficiency, then giving them vitamin A for the first couple of days after they get measles decreases severity...' Marc Siegel: 'I think it does, and he thinks it does. We are obese as a nation...'

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has been promoting the "Make America Healthy Again" agenda since taking office nearly a month ago.

During this time, he has focused on improving the nation's diet and emphasized the need for Americans to be better informed about their health and what is in their food.

FOX News Senior Medical Analyst and Professor of Medicine at NYU Langone Medical Center recently spoke with FOX News Rundown host Dave Anthony to discuss some ingredients and additives in our food that RFK Jr. finds concerning and what they could be doing to our physical and mental health.

Marc Siegel also discussed his recent interview with RFK Jr. and some of the topics they discussed, including the measles outbreak.

This week also marked five years since the World Health Organization declared the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Seigel reflected on that time, what we’ve learned from the crisis, and some of the mistakes that were made in the months and years that followed.

We often must cut interviews short during the week, but we thought you might like to hear the full interview.

Today on Fox News Rundown Extra, we will share our entire interview with Dr. Marc Siegel, allowing you to hear more about his take on the Trump administration’s “Make America Healthy Again” agenda.
