Going all in ensures you fully commit to your goals, maximizing your potential for success and personal growth. It eliminates half-hearted efforts and increases the likelihood of achieving greatness.
When you fully commit, magical things start to happen. You create opportunities and experiences that propel you to the next level of personal and professional development.
Half-assing leads to mediocre results and leaves you wondering what could have been. Full commitment ensures you face challenges head-on and learn from both successes and failures.
Fear often paralyzes decision-making, preventing action and leading to missed opportunities. Overcoming fear allows you to make bold choices and take calculated risks.
Relying on information ensures informed and effective decisions, whereas relying on time can lead to hasty and potentially detrimental choices.
Personal commitment fuels motivation and resilience, making it easier to overcome obstacles and persist in the face of challenges.
Embracing pain, whether physical or mental, builds resilience and character. It teaches you to push through adversity and come out stronger on the other side.
Surrounding yourself with challenging individuals fosters growth by pushing you out of your comfort zone and encouraging continuous improvement.
Overthinking can lead to indecision and missed opportunities. It's often more productive to make a choice and learn from the outcome, rather than endlessly analyzing options.
Believing in your potential empowers you to take risks, pursue your dreams, and achieve goals that might seem out of reach to others.
My dad works in B2B marketing. He came by my school for career day and said he was a big ROAS man. Then he told everyone how much he loved calculating his return on ad spend. My friend's still laughing me to this day. Not everyone gets B2B, but with LinkedIn, you'll be able to reach people who do. Get $100 credit on your next ad campaign. Go to linkedin.com slash results to claim your credit. That's linkedin.com slash results. Terms and conditions apply. LinkedIn.com slash results.
LinkedIn, the place to be, to be. Ryan Reynolds here for, I guess, my 100th Mint commercial. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I mean, honestly, when I started this, I thought I'd only have to do like four of these. I mean, it's unlimited premium wireless for $15 a month. How are there still people paying two or three times that much? I'm sorry, I shouldn't be victim blaming here. Give it a try at mintmobile.com slash switch whenever you're ready. For
I just know when people go all in on the thing they love, magical things start to happen.
Maybe it doesn't happen right away, but magical things start to happen. It's almost like, what if you obsessed and went all in on these things? What could you create? We're running at 40% most of us, you know, because we're half in and half out. And it's not surprising because life is difficult. It's like, well, what if you were 90% in or 95% in or all in? Because you're all in anyways, right? It's a life and death game.
No one gets out of this. Everyone dies. You might as well commit yourself. We all live in our bubble. My therapist calls it the lifeboat. We all live in our lifeboat, right? But we're all on the same ocean. So depending on how good your lifeboat is, you will weather the storm or not. Because if you're not willing to go in there and face yourself, I could find anything. You could live right here on surface, man, right here on surface. Don't half-ass it. Don't half-ass it.
Boy, that never goes out of style, does it? I mean, think about it. If you're going to do something, if you've chosen to do something, whatever it is, easy, hard. If you give it your all and you don't half-ass it, win, lose, draw, get what you want, don't get what you want, whatever the outcome is, if you don't half-ass it, at least you're not going to have to wonder, ooh, what's going on?
Would the outcome have been different? I feel like we spend too much of our lives waiting for life to happen. Sometimes we need to start being in life instead of trying to see it. This is my belief. When you go all in on something and you truly believe in your heart that this is what you're meant to do, and you let go of something, you're like, ah, but I don't want to lose this because what if they're going to be a great partner in the future? What if they're going to be a great parent? Will they show these qualities that maybe they could work out for me?
As opposed to, no, going all in on the thing that you know you're meant to do. So it's today the day, right? The biggest fear they have is making a mistake, right? They don't want to be seen as stupid. They don't want to lose status as a result of this decision. And so when we're dealing with that, it's making them understand that you don't need time to make a decision. You need information. But so many people are stuck in that same spot for why they're not taking action, whether it's selling a product or selling themselves. Don't you get it? Through all the bumps in the road and the stormy weather,
The heart of a champion they can never measure. That's why you have to be all in. So there is an ending to this world and there is somewhere to go and there's a judgment. You're going to get there and you might see a chart and that chart may tell you who the f*** you should have been.
And now you get the rest of your life to think about that. Man, I could have lived a much better life if I just would have just suffered a little bit more. If I just would have went in that and realized I had so much more. But fear in the 40 percent and living here versus living here, being afraid. Stop me.
I struggle. So that's the language I'm great at. So if I can break down things into a struggle language, now I make it the game winnable for everybody. And that's the goal, to make the game winnable for everybody who's bold enough to step into the batting cage. If you bold enough to do that,
I was bold enough to jump in a goddamn 152-foot tank with sharks in Dubai. If you're bold enough to do it, there's an experience that comes from that. And that experience is so exhilarating, it will take you to the next level. Because now you keep chasing the next level of you.
And that is when you start understanding life at a whole nother concept. When you start understanding that, yo, for the longest, I was just low level living. I was low level thinking. There's going to be days when you're aching and tired and sore. And there's people in your family that are sick and you're cynical and bitter. And you need a reason to get up and you think, yeah, well, a little more heaven and a little less hell. Maybe I can pull that off today and tomorrow and next week. And that's worth struggling forward for.
Let's play this out, right? It's not going to go the way you think it's going to go. Because if you keep repeating this habit, you're going to end up five years from now, you're going to look at your life the same way you're looking at it now and hating it. But I just want to remind everybody that I didn't make a video to the world about anything about business until I was 35 years old. I'm very excited about this. I plan on doing this four to five times a week. We're looking to put the video up about 4 or 5 p.m. There's a whole lot of talking going on. How about more action?
How about more execution? How about more paying prices for what your mouth is saying? That is what I hope you do. Give more. Go all in. Be all in. Don't you get it? The victory is already yours. You just gotta claim it. You just gotta stake it. You just gotta bring it into life. And you cannot bring it into life if you're going halfway. In order to get something we've never had, we need to do things we've never done.
In order to get something we've never had, we need to do things we've never done. Right now, if you don't like your physique and you want a better one, what you are currently doing is not going to get it for you. You can't keep sleeping in and doing the same day after day or you're going to look the same for the rest of your life. If you want that supercar, but you're in a job right now that can't afford the supercar, you need to get out of it. In order to get things we've never had, we need to do things we've never done. You've got to switch it up.
Often times it feels like it is impossible, an insurmountable feat to get past a beating. But as long as I can feel it, I'm not in a state of paralysis. If you can feel it, you can move it. So I ask you the question, sometimes I have to look myself in the mirror and ask myself, "I don't even know how to do it." Come on, you're prepared, you're conditioned, you've been beaten, you've been battered, you've been broken, you've been left to dead. But there's more, because you're breathing and you feel it. So if you can feel it, you can push yourself, push past.
The truth of the matter is, when you have, there's more left in you. Be all in or be forgotten. Be all in or be a nobody. Be all in or be somebody that has absolutely no opportunity to leave a legacy on this world. Be all in or be somebody that nobody respects. Be all in or be somebody that leaves this earth with regrets.
I said to myself, who on this earth would still be going right now? You are. You are. I believed it. I believe it today. I believed it enough to where my body said, he's not going to stop. I took all the negative things. I need to go to the hospital, this and that. And I used all, who the hell could even get on that chair? You did. Who the hell would even think about taping stretch fractures up? All those things I used for motivation.
You're gonna do this? Okay fine. That's all I needed. That's all I needed for him to do that and it became personal with me. For me, anger was good. Anger was good because it was motivating. The more I could create an enemy, the more I wanted to go out and kill those guys. I've been listening to them laugh my whole career. An Irishman win a fight in the UFC? Hell no. Laugh. Laugh's all around. Hell no. He's all talk. He's all hype. He's a joke. The sound of laughter and the sound of doubt.
Motivates me. I saw you celebrate my losses like I wasn't going to win again. You got to want to be successful so bad that you forget to eat.
That's how bad you gotta want it. I'm just wondering if you are bold enough, daring enough, if you can believe in your dream again, if you can get committed, if you can make it personal. It's personal. Because it's about you. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's personal. It's
I used to never have to worry about nobody ever bullying me again. Because I know I will f***ing kill them if they f***ing kill me. You've got to create a lot of different emotion to heighten your sense of awareness and focus. It's about you ultimately actively moving through your emotions rather than being stopped by them towards a goal. I think when change hits and it's personal, that's when the perspective shift comes. Get into something that's really personal, that means something to you. I think that's the key to what we do.
What we do, it's gotta be, it's gotta be personal. It's up to you to carry on. Remember you owe you something. Continue to believe that. We all have desires and dreams. Make your dream a reality. I'm talking concrete commitment. The commitment that says, can I stay true to what I said I would do long after the mood that I've set in it has left. See, when you get personal and you make it personal, everything changes. Don't make it personal.
What a joke. It has been personal. When week after week I'm choked up fighting back tears with every sentence. It's personal. I have waited my whole life. I will wait no more. That's why they say many a call few a chosen. It's about you having a vision, a possibility for yourself that has to do with being great.
because I'm gonna make it personal because it's always been personal to me. So you found out that the secret sauce in your life is the guy in your mirror.
that it's not some outside variable that's going to come and save you. The cavalry's not coming. It's up to you, baby. Get up off the couch. I got to go leave the cave, kill something, and drag it home. You found that truth in that moment. Despite my doubts and all of those sort of things, I'm going to put my trust in that and try and go for things and not be scared to fail and...
not be driven by fear and all those sort of things because it's personal. It's about your journey, your goals. Listen to me, you got it. You have to eat the dream. You have to sleep the dream. You have to dream the dream. You have to see it when nobody else sees it. You have to feel it when it's not tangible. You have to believe it when you cannot see it. Do they have what it takes? Are they willing to do whatever it takes?
A lot of people give up. That's just the truth. Come on, there are too many people riding on you. You got a mother. She's been doing everything she can to put food on the table. You got to do it for her. You got a father that's counting on you. You got to do it for him. You got some siblings that are watching you right now. You got to do it for them. But guess what else? You got to do it for you. Because deep down in every human being,
They want to see the greatest version of themselves. But most people quit. Most people stop believing. It's personal. It's personal.
No matter what challenges I face, no matter what the statistics are, I will maintain unwavering faith that I can achieve the outcome that I want. And if I don't, I'll be at peace with it. That was my why. It's I'm willing to do everything in my power to fulfill my potential, become the best version of myself. It's an unwavering faith in possibility. That's it. You got to get fueled on the inside and say, now is my chance.
Time. And it's about you. It's personal. Yes. It's about your core. It's about your mindset. What do you actually want? How do you want all of your life to go? I believe everything happens for a reason. I think we get to choose the reason. And I decide my fate. Nothing that you want will manifest itself unless you aim for it.
And you won't aim for it unless you know what it is, and you won't know what it is unless you ask yourself. And then you might say, "Well, why don't you ask yourself?" And the answer is, well, maybe no one ever explained to you that you needed to, which is a crucial issue. And then maybe you don't also trust yourself. If you had the job or career track that would motivate you, just hypothetically,
What might that look like? This is dreams we're talking about. We're talking about dreams. It's just really rigid. You become the best. You have to almost become fanatical. You know, this is my life. This is all I live for. This is my air. This is everything. Dreams require sacrifices. People don't want to sacrifice. Following your dreams
is a lonely, solitary, scary, dangerous pursuit. You can't wait for somebody to think you can do it. And when you get to the point where all you want to do is be successful as bad as you want to breathe, then you'll be successful. And I'm here to tell you, number one, that most of you say you want to be successful, but you don't want it bad. You just kind of want it.
You don't want it badder than you want to party. You don't want it as much as you want to be cool. Most of you don't want success as much as you want to sleep. Nobody knows but you. You can't get advice on what you should do with your life. You take control of the circumstances. You take control of the outcome. You take control of your life.
It's in our hands. It's on us. And nobody can make that decision for us. It doesn't start with them and they. It starts with me. Whatever the fuck you're doing, just prove to yourself it's the shit that you want to be doing. Build around that. This is the only life that I have. And I'm going to take the leap of faith. I'm going to jump in it. I must live what's in me. And all of us have something in us.
that we must live. And if we don't know what it is right now, we must create it or we must find it. All of us have this, whatever this, this something is.
that gives our life that meaning, that value, that power, and that happiness. See, when you get married to purpose, married to destiny, married to who you've been destined to be, everything changes. It's not about external validation. It's about your relationship to yourself. And you know when your head hits the pillow at night and when you wake up in the morning what that relationship looks like. It's not about them. It's about you. Nothing changes if nothing changes, man.
In order for something to change, there needs to be change. They'd say, "Well, I'm afraid to make a change." And I'd say, "That's okay. That's understandable." How afraid are you of not making a change? Let's make a little vision of that. You're 35. You hate your job. What's the consequence? You're not motivated. You don't want to get out of bed in the morning. You're starting to get depressed. You're getting bitter. You're getting resentful. You're getting cynical. You're amotivated at work. You're not doing a very good job.
And you're starting to shrink. Now play that out for 10 years. You don't change it. You don't fix it. And what happens? You're going to be in the same situation, but 10 years older. And if you can't get out of that situation now, what the hell makes you think you're going to get out of it in 10 years? You're only seeing what's in front of you. You're not seeing what's above you.
I can't change the beginning, but could I change the middle? Could I change, can I edit that story, rewrite that story and change my entire life? Everybody's so crippled by decisions.
But you never know how the other thing worked out. Let me give you an example. Let's say you don't go to college and you start this business and you were 100% right and it's huge and you're doing so great but because you did that, you had to fly to America for a big meeting and your plane crashed and you died. That would be a bad idea. Yeah.
Or you think you're going to go to college because it's a good experience and you'll meet people. You can meet people in a business. You're not going to know. I think people overthink decisions. You'll never know what the alternative would have been. So just pick one and do it. Change is inevitable and you are either changing for the worse or changing for the better. You decide. I hope I do not believe in you more than you believe in yourself. Now,
Now listen to me guys, the transition is going to be hard. I'm not going to lie to you. Go from being on the block, going to be a high school dropout, to getting a GED, it's not, the transition is not easy. So what happens? In order for you to go from one level to the next level, in order for any man to transit, listen to me, in order for any woman to transition, for any man to transition, the thing that they want must be greater than the thing they currently have.
Listen to me very closely. I didn't come in here to tell you you're gonna finish school. I came to ask you what's next. I came to ask you what's next. For me, it's the Nobel Prize. I always think about other people that's going through a tougher life than I am. What if I had to change places? Would I trade places? You know, there's something I would always say to people from time to time. If I could take out a piece of paper and write down my problems,
and you could take out a piece of paper and write down your problem and we exchange those papers and I'm thinking I got such a tough tough life and you may have a tough life but I pick up your paper the one you may have written on and I'm looking like wow I thought I had it back and then the other person say hey you got it a lot better than I do you know what I would do I would say give me a paper give me my paper back I'll take my problems back the point that I'm saying is this
I didn't put myself in such a pity party position to where I felt, why me? Why not me? Why shouldn't I go through this? See, you have to know, and I believe this even more, there can never be anything good unless there's some bad along the way. There has to be a challenge. There has to be a struggle. There has to be some setbacks. You cannot think in your mind that that's all you're good for is the good things.
How good are you when you're at your weakest point in your life? Where are you when you're at the down low of your life? Then what do you do? You are either going to evolve or expire. See, everything changes. The economy changes. Relationships changes. We change mentally and emotionally and physically. And you are either dying or you are either living. How am I a different person than I was this morning when I woke up?
The initial reaction would be, "I'm not. It's only been like 12 hours. How could I be different?" But if I really think about it, what do I now know that I didn't know before?
What, you know, what experiences have I had that my prior self hadn't had when I had just woken up? And if I actually think about it, just like gratitude, I'm creating the frame of my past. I actually can and do see that I am different than my past self, even 12, 13 hours ago or the night before. And by appreciating that, I now acknowledge that I've changed, which increases my psychological flexibility.
It allows me to see that I am not the same person, that I am growing, that I am evolving, which is really useful for then thinking of your future self as a different person. You don't know. Like, there is no time machine, there's no future machine. We're all over-analyzing everything. Like, how do you know? You don't. Like, this is why I keep trying to push people. The only thing that I know seems practical is, are you happy?
Are you happy today? Feels like it's the right thing. Are you like, this is important. It's you can't analyze. Like I didn't know that starting a YouTube show for my wine business was going to be the reason that I was going to have a huge investing career. I couldn't see that. This 30 seconds is your life passing you by an opportunity to change. It's your property. You want to go down the path you have right now of your life and where it's going. Where do you see an alternate path?
That's not flatlining. But climbing up. An echelon of remembrance. A possibility. Where dreams exist. Legacy exists. The possibility of change. It's within the grasp of these hands. Within the grasp of 30 seconds. It's within you. You had the will. You're here. I know you had the will. You had the intestinal fortitude. You had the want of change. You only live once. So do what you feel passionate about.
Take chances. Don't be afraid to fail. How do you know true strength? When you never tasted the roots. When you never was down on your luck. When you were at the bottom. I had to ask myself. And I realized. You gotta go through this hell, man. This is it. Cause as long as you're living.
You gotta keep moving. It all starts with a thought. But changing your thoughts is easy, it's free, can be instant. What's the point of making it complicated? How does that help anyone who says, "Well, I'm messed up and so hard to change and people can't change." It's like, "Well, that's not correct. Who taught you that? From the minute you're born, you're changing."
Oh, you know, it's long and arduous to recover. No, it isn't. Some people recover like that. Some people don't. But you could be one of the ones that changes your thoughts, changes your feelings, changes your actions after all. When do you experience the positive emotion that's associated with happiness? The answer is not when you've attained a goal, but when you're pursuing one.
Don't you realize excuses will kill you? It will destroy your well-being. And the more excuses you make, the less effort you're going to get. There's a million things I've done wrong. It's because I didn't do something that would have sent me somewhere else. But I have no idea. You don't know. You don't. If you do not apply what you hear and it goes over your head, you will miss your moment. Nothing changes if nothing changes, man. I don't know if I can do this.
Dude, Achilles were like the kiss of death for athletes. Like, I don't know if I can do this. I've got to set the example. This is another obstacle. This obstacle cannot define me. It's not going to cripple me. It's not going to be responsible for me stepping away from the game that I love. I'm going to step away on my own terms. And that's when the decision was made that, you know what? I'm doing it. I'm doing it. You're a freaking beast, man. Yeah, yeah.
Get back in the ring again. Don't get out of the ring. Get back right into it. It's right in that moment. You know, when you're just like in sales, if you got a rejection, go back out again. Somebody says, no, go out immediately. The price you will pay for not winning is infinitely greater the rest of your life than the price you will ever pay to win. But you're negotiating it too often. You're vacillating. It takes your energy. It strips your focus. For most people, their will to win is for sale.
For most people with enough failure, enough setbacks, enough adversity, you can buy them. They will relent, they will sell their dream, they'll sell their kids, they'll sell their future. You need to love pain.
However, mentally, physically, love it. You need to love it. If not, stay where you are. There's more in you. There's more in you. My content creators, my entrepreneurs, my musicians, come on, my keynote speakers, my captains of industries, my CEOs, from the captain to the cashier, there is more in you. Stay-at-home father, stay-at-home mother, lawyer, doctor, hygienist, author,
I don't know who you are, where you're from, but there's more in you. You may be hurting. You may be dying on the inside. You still got a life left. I used to say all the time, why me? Why me? Why me? And all of a sudden that conversation changed. Yeah, yeah, like why not me? You know what, my friend? I think you're stronger than that. And I think you're capable of much, much more. So bring it out.
Bring it out every single day that you live on this earth. Bring it out every single day that you open your eyes. Bring it out every single day. Bring out the best version of yourself, my friend, because you still have work to do.
You have greatness within you. You have the ability to do more than you can ever begin to imagine. See, I believe that anybody through observation and practice can perform at the level of excellence. But when you're pursuing your greatness, and this is worth writing down, you don't know what your limits are and you act like you don't have any. So I say to you, you have something special. You have greatness within you. When you figure this out on your own,
The amount of pride and dignity and self-respect you have. That's why I walk around the streets with a backpack and just like, I don't need anything else. You figure it out by going inside yourself, by callousing over the victim's mentality. You're always a victim, even if you have everything in life, until you realize what you've achieved. Make a plan. Look at what you're interested in. Get disciplined about something.
Allow for the possibility that you have something important to contribute to the world and that the world would be a lesser place without that contribution. Don't be afraid of taking on responsibility. It's where you find what sustains you in your life. We're here to get stronger. In order to get stronger, we must fail. Accept that. Know that. That who we are right now is not who we are, but where we are. And we're going forward with the belief. Our belief, guys, drives this workout. We need to stop.
Believe in the difference you can be Stop being average when your potential is crying to come outside be more than that that burn you feel man You got to earn that burn happy
That means check you did it right. Continue to do that. Nothing's in your way, man. You're a kid again with everything as a possibility. Two forms of pain. Pain that breaks you and the pain that changes you. That's the pain of a change right there. That's the pain of progress. How many people do you have that you allow to be in your circle that can say painful things to you that you may not like to hear? And then once you hear them, are you willing to accept it?
I've been lucky enough to have people in my life like that. I make sure I try to stay surrounded with those people. You can choose to be a fan and a spectator for the rest of your life, but you know deep down inside you want to be in the arena, in the fight, in the war, in the battle, with everybody else watching you in it, competing, fighting, throwing stuff at you, bullying you. Go for it. You can do it. You suck. You're terrible. You're the worst I've ever seen. But you're in the arena.
At least you have the guts to roll up your sleeves and go out there and fight. See, that's the juice. That's the juice of life. - You just gotta make the jump or not. It's like swimming.
