This is morbid and I am looking at audible books, say this is more bit and i'm elina and I was that girl we did we did that already that we did that intro. Now i'm able books. Where are you looking at? I think we get seen them lot because I just want na hear IT that's even miki was just listening to IT on and as i've read IT, I just want to hear IT now let's cool.

Does he narrated IT? Uh, yeah, this is one of those ads that like you stick into a show no talking so he narrow part of that's yeah, the inning of IT sounds like you like the winning peaty. You know who does that? My ut up.

dexter. Oh, I was. I would listen to that. I am of Steven king binge recently. Yeah, even listening to the writing yeah he's writing on writing.

He is a very good thing voice because it's been in the car a few times when i've been like driving around time. I like sitting to you know and that's where I am. I don't really know where I am right now.

That's the truth for all of us. We got some, we got some Crystals in here that are like helping with energy. But I think what I think why you laughing at me, I think that they're sucking my energy put none a bad way.

No, i'm saying Crystal gilly eboe es, yeah, there's Crystal girl's and boye that saying you go, you guys okay. Well, do we have an e like anything going on? No, do you what do you have?

I have the paper back version of my book coming out july twenty six would say that something going on you could go to order IT. It's fun. Paper bag are great. You can stick in your bag and there you can. Fp, flip, flap on around.

Yeah, who doesn't love the flip up? And it's got like a fun little insert in and what IT was the first one eight chapter of the sequel in IT when I was pick that yeah I like I gave my advice a little bit yeah so it's got a chapter of the equal in IT. That's so that's pretty awesome and that s we're doing.

I just like, i'll be there. We're just chat about the book yeah just like by yourselves, I can do that yeah by yourselves. Now i'm just getting, oh, I was trying to make a team like we are just just going to be like and I am talking about the book.

And in new york happened to be there just five. But no, it's an event. But you're only the paper book. Book has a chapter of the new one, and the new one will be coming out in the near future.

I've gotten to read a feature around because i'm awesome and because I makes me think of my friend or so if you're listening, hi, I love you. And it's it's really fucked and good. It's also really creepy.

And randomly, the other daily I just SAT next to me on the coaching is, can I try something on you? And was like, probably not. And then SHE essentially was like, what if I did this? And like, manipulated my hand in a weird way? I just wanted to be able to describe something in the accurate way.

So I decided to do IT to ash. It's mean your personal once the book is out i'll tell you what seen that was that I just cast your vote what you do to ash outcome oh, got what weird website that would be yeah you know I you just gave the world that website about that that come that's a scary right? I would like came from your head.

It's like mean goals like that's a scary most scary, a scary most well, IT kind of works out that we're in silly giving me, I have a hunting today, a hunting I the haunting of one Bobby mckee music world. 哦, everybody is like going you guys on drugs today. No, but crazy day.

crazy. Something is going to start at the beginning. Does that so good to you.

That's always an awesome place to start. fantastic. This is a fun story, and it's also a scary story. And there's also some parts that are not fun. My level that way have you are on the scary oh, so we're going to start by talking about bobbi backy. He opened Bobby maker's music world in one thousand nine hundred seventy eight.

And when country singer bobbi magi opened the a nigh club that he named after himself, his main goal was basically just to make IT like a tightened, small little nights. B where people would come hang out vibe, dance, just enjoy some country music, just like quint goals, quint goals. But by one thousand nine hundred and seventy eight, he had spent more than twelve of years traveling around the country, either with his own country, western band, or as an employee with the real road.

And at that point he was like, very, very rett ready to settle down. After those twelve years he had been born and raised in a super small town, conquered kentucky. The latest population is literally nineteen.

Wow, as of twenty twenty two. I looked well the other day, and it's the latest population again for the people in the back is in nineteen, nineteen, nineteen. That's not even old enough to drink. Nope nope not a bobbi makey.

No but so he he was from that small town and he was kind of ready to get back to that small town lifestyle after all the travelling and everything um and there was like a few reasons for that sudden urge to settle aside from the reno traveling over more than a decade. He was now married and his wife Janet t was actually pregnant and like I said, he really wanted to open his own nigh club, he told producers from discovery channel. IT was either moved to nash bill or get my own place.

no. But IT turned out he didn't have to look too far from home to find the perfect spot for his new club because a couple years earlier in old roadhouse on routine and wild and tucky closed down. And as I turned out, IT had actually previously been used as a nightclub ah so IT was already set up for you know a night club club.

I was set up pretty perfectly, but at the very least of as a good start. So Bobby told reporters in my mind's ee I could see IT all, I could see the crowd, I could see people dancing. So there was nothing going to stop me.

I had to have the place. But like, apparently, bobbi didn't cy and couldn't sense that the place was totally and completely haunted. Oh, haunted as fuck. So the property, which actually still sits and is like open at forty four looking pike IT, has had a very long and very legended history that started away before IT was a nightclub, a road house, really anything.

When IT was first purchased, IT was actually home to a slaughter house and a beat packing plant that'll do IT in what was known at the time as french town. There was an even wilder yet. Oh, now the plant was built in the eight hundred and fifty.

So that's how far we're going back. And IT closed a few decades later, but something about IT, like something about the property, kept people in town talking. Even years after I had closed, a lot of people felt like the area was either haunted or used by their local state. More shippers slash a cult, my favorite thing ever, because, yeah, of course.

And they figured that these groups of people would find IT a great spot to use for their rituals, because there actually really was a well that had been built back when I was a slaughterhouse, back when the softer house was running, that collected all the animal fluid, specifically the blood. Oh, and not well in the legend surrounding IT would later play a huge part and actually a murder, the the eighteen ninety six murder of one. Perl, brian, oh, is a real story.

Oh, dam. And this is really sad. In eighteen ninety six, ninety six, perl was a twenty two year old girl from inDiana, and late in january of eighteen ninety six, SHE told her parents that he had gotten a telegram from a family friend in indian apple.

Is, I said, IT, I could never say that in the up and not going to try again because does that. But so he got that telegram from that place, and these families, ds asked her to come visit. And SHE was like heath's awesome.

So SHE set off on her trip. And just sadly, days later, on february ary, first her body was found decapitated. Oh my god, in a large field, less than six hundred, the guards from fort saint Thomas and very close by to the abandoned slaughterhouse.

So the coroner determined that Pearl had actually been drugged with cocaine just prior to her death. And the cause of death was obviously the the decapitation god, and they believed that he had been killed where her body was discovered in that field. Unfortunately, the coroner also said that pro would have been alive when the captain started.

Yes, oh, so eighty, ninety six investigators started trying to put the pieces of the case together, and they found out that the last time perl had been seen alive was on the evening of january first, and he was spotted with two men, Scott Jackson, in a lazo walling. Now, the last time the three of of the three of them, excuse me, were spotted, was in a cab from since sa. Nadi that was headed back in the direction of fort Thomas.

No, where he was found. Now the detectives are pretty sure that these two guys had something to do with perlis murder, and they were right on the right track when Scott Jackson was arrested, he told the police that he in perl had secretly been in a relationship for the past several months, and that recently he had found out that he was pregnant and he was not exactly pleased about this. I just want to put a trigger warning here, because this is going to a little bit tough going forward just for this one section, just a trigger warning for a loss of pregNancy sash, miscarriage stuff.

thanks. You're welcome. So he was, like I said, not happy that he was pregnant, and suggested that Pearl try to induce her own miscarriage by drinking.

I think is that air god yeah got which is a fungus and ri mixed together. That's what they tried to blame the sale much trial shit, you're right. I forgot about that. Um so he obviously refused this because he was like, i'm not going to do that and she's SHE refused at multiple times like you up being like, no, this is what you need to do like we're not having a baby.

You need to draw this and she's like, no, no choice and it's like you don't have to be a part of this baby's life if you don't want to go bye, see never. So SHE cup refusing, kept refusing. And finally, he sent her himself to since anadi, to have an abortion performed.

Now from the story, that sounds like you either didn't go or did, but didn't go through with the abortion. And so on the night of january thirty first, Scott and alone, so there invited pull out, and they slipped cocaine into her drink, hoping that that would cause them is care. Oh my god, got too fucking.

That didn't seem to work as far as they were concerned, which I was like, how would you really know? Just say, but they didn't give you any time. And they decided their only option left now would be to murder perl and the unburned baby. Now the reason that they wanted to decapitate her was because they believed that SHE wouldn't be able to be identified without her head.

Which like I know it's one hundred and ninety six and like, obviously you know so many things available but like, wow, okay, wow and that's just fucked up, a super fucked up and like you love to this girl and have a relationship with her, my god, to get her pregnant. Like jesus, seriously. So once they killed her, they dumped her body in that field outside of fort Thomas.

But when IT came down to IT, they both ended up giving different stories about what had happened to parse head, what they had done with IT. One of them said that they threw IT into a rest of war on their way back to insanity. Can you imagine what I don't think is what happened? And the other one said that they had buried her head in a sand bar near.

now. IT doesn't seem like either of those two stories are the case, but they never found perle's head had to be buried without our head. Fuck and kidding me.

Detectives believed in, suspected they had probably destroyed her head in an insincerity. Or because Scott Jackson was a student at a dental school and had access to that in center, shit walked up. That's wild.

So they ended up being executed, obviously, for Pearls, Pearl's murder on march twenty and fifty ninety seven. And you would think that that would put in into the story. But people still were talking about the mystery surrounding the case ever since. Eventually, the talk of the case would slow down.

But for a while, people were heavily focused on, yeah, this is huge, right? So Scott alonzo in perl have all been worked into the legends in the stories surrounding the event, in slaughter, and then everything else that would come to be, as some legends claim, that they were sadness and that Pearl had been murdered during a virtual al sacrifice. And those legends say that the reason Pearl's head was never found was because IT was thrown into the well of the slaughterhouse, which was like, super, super dea.

But by the one thousand nine hundred and twenty, they decided, you know what, maybe we should fuck and tear down that old daughters because, dam, if IT really is being used for a rich rituals and to capital tions, we should get rid of IT. Yeah, probably. yeah.

Now, like I said, people weren't really talking about the legend of what happened. Appel is often because they were more focused on modern things like prohibition and gambling. I, B, but in one thousand nine hundred and thirty three, just as prohibition was about.

And also, I should acknowledge that you said all spooks, that was funny. Basically, I I felt you understand IT in your soul. I did. Yeah, I love cats, me.

But just as a about to end, a man named earnest buck breedy bought the roadhouse and opened IT up as a restaurant and casino. And he ended up naming at the primrose really, that is pretty right now. In no time the place was hoped, and people love hanging out there.

But more importantly, they like spending their money there. Now that latter part obviously brought a attention from the mob. No, that old thing.

Oh yeah, that thing. Eventually, they were actually able to pressure buck into selling the club to them. So mob, mob is put, I get so Frank.

Screw Andrew. yeah. They called him. screw? yeah. They did, of course. Don't ask. absolutely.

He managed the now rebranded club that they were calling the last quarter sexy and IT gained even more popularity now in the one thousand and fifties, IT was actually the are one of the most popular a gambling dens in the area. And IT went on that way for eleven years. W an illegal gambling.

Then a good run. That's good. I don't know what the typical run is, me neither. But that feels like a good one, feels great. I mean, over a decade yeah let's go the middle school ler but like, let's not go cause yeah legalities yeah you know there's that.

But in one thousand nine hundred and sixty one, the residents of the town were like, hey, criminal activities a little too right here and long enforcement like, maybe could you crack down on that a bit ah and law enforcement was like, yeah, we should probably do that so they did and they close down the club and so it's sad. Empty for a few more years until IT reopened in the seventies as a hard rock up in yeah and it's really funny because like I feel like everybody y's spent to a hardrock cafe one hundred percent. Usually they just have like a cool member of billie, a and a good burger yeah this hard rock, hard rock.

Well, because residents were on coffee before, they did not realize that things were going to get a whole lot worse. According to the since ini inquire, the hardrock cater to a little bit of a rougher crowd of people made up of, quote, all people from out of town with an interest in live hard rock music. Yeah, I feel good.

Just a bunch of, like, barbs from trolls. World tour, oh my god, your such a moment. I love you for that. I was like barbs.

And then I thought you were going down like a strange or things was i'm not getting I was tour on and I said, troll and then I was like, and then, you know, if you know I like bb, just a buch of barbs being like, let's rock. We have the rock string yeah let's go, brothers. So but that was like the weird thing about this property.

No matter what IT was Operating as a road house, the penrose, the latin quarter, the hard rock, there was always some kind of criminal element attached to IT. You know it's it's a like that's that's a thing. I was just like criminal and this places just like it's kind of my thing.

You have criminal elements. It's kind of like a lexus from this criminal. It's a little bit criminal when IT drives its car but apparently though it's steam as the hard rock was the most violent.

Oh, I didn't see that come, nor did I, but I got a mob. What been? Know me too, but maybe that was just less reported. Here I am learning things.

You know, i'm sure that IT probably was what I was, the mob, but we just don't know much about, and i'm not talk about police. They write things down reports, but they were constantly going down there to break up flights, to respond to accidents, or worse, to investigate crime scenes. Lots of deaths.

Oh yeah, the wilder police achieved. Now, IT is the wilder police chief, Robert a. Shen learn, believe, IT is told reporters, we've had an awful lot of trouble down, but most of IT happens in the parking lot now. By the time the club, like the hardrock cafe, closed at the end of one thousand and seventy seven, several murder had taken place in the parking lot, oh wow.

And actually just weeks before closed its doors as the hard rock, a man had been killed with a shotgun, and a couple months before that, another man had also been shot to death as he was leaving a lot then yeah intense part lot just like, I think that would close and a lot of bar fights would take place. And you know, yeah, but that's where everybody kind of ills out, right? exactly.

And I think I just attracted a refer crowd. He is. But all that to say, the property had gone through a lot of loss, a lot of violence and tragedy by the time bobbi ladies on IT in one thousand nine, seven, eight.

But again, he had no fucking idea. All he saw was the future home of Bobby mckee music world. I love that name.

I do too. It's really fun. Pretty world, man, world tour world. I just it's it's the Crystals.

No one is happening like, I was just opened her mother world and like, come on where I doing to the turn the tune of world star. Remember those videos. You are always horrible.

You would be like, wow. Christmas, it's the Crystal as they do some the day that make a me that's just just rock voice is like world tour IT sounds like a ship. With I ago O. Right right back to building the nigh club, Bobby might not have had a bad feeling, like i've told you forty seven times now.

But the first time he got out of the car and lays on the place his wife, Janet shore, a can did, in fact, of the very first time SHE laid as on this place, SHE said. As he closed the car door and turn to look to the building, SHE swore he saw a person move in the door way, and then he saw the front door close, but there wasn't anybody supposed to be inside. Did he tell someone that when IT happened there was that like a later recovered, he told bobbi and my next, because I was like, you should tell so much, he was like, bob, bob, there's a person in there, he said.

This is extra sensory. An apple original podcast produced bluecher house. Apple TV plus subscribers get special early access to the entire season. Follow in, listen on apple podcasts. But he just laughed IT off, and he greatly made his way inside.

Yeah, you know why not? whatever? IT was the middle the day, both fully light outside, but still Janet just couldn't check the feeling that there was something really about this club and had an energy that SHE just did not like.

And when SHE got inside, SHE truly didn't really feel much Better. The place was dimly lit. All of the tables and the chairs were still set up.

There was poster and decorations hung on the wall. So creepy, IT basically looked like whoever had owned the place before just walked out one day and never came back. Wow, because that actually is kind of exactly.

That's actually what happens. I was like that because that's what happened, but I don't know. SHE didn't feel like hearing Bobby were alone. I guess is how I would say that, right? SHE later said, I felt like someone was in there and there wasn't nobody in there but him and I.

And to make matters worse, as SHE made her way to toward the kitchen, SHE started to hear what sounded like a man and a woman having an argument. But when SHE pushed up in the swinging doors that LED to the kitchen, IT was completely empty. Oh, so SHE like looked around a little bit more.

But there was nobody there except turn Bobby. And they were an arguing weird that's like people will hear I need a lot of hunting. You hear like people having a conversation with each other or something yeah, that's so if that freaks me out for some reason but like the auditory, is that all that you talked about IT in the lighthouse when the guy was caught ing.

It's a residual is a residual something where just always having that big experience over and over and yeah, it's key and and like you like your first thought is kind of like, oh, god, of those people like still there are having that argument, but I don't think it's that I think energy exactly so creepy. But so he was obviously super freak out, and she's later said I wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. Yeah, don't blame but Bobby.

On the other hand, he could not have been more enthusiastic and he wasn't hearing any of what hearing. He's just, you know, he's he's thinking of possibilities. Think about the future to be makyth music world.

yeah. I mean, if I had that in front of me, I would probably ly be planned ahead to right? exactly.

He he was very excited. He was poking around the building. He was sing to himself, just check and things out. Yeah, got a new place.

All the wild jane is just standing by the door, waiting to get the fuck out of. And after a while he was okay. And can we leave? I'm scared.

Fuck, let's go. And finally, they did. But as they draw of home, SHE could tell because at this point they hadn't purchased that.

There was kind of like a scoping locations. But SHE knew that this one, like, was the one that bobbi had fAllen in love with. She's not going to get him out of.

No one SHE didn't want to like, would that be the dipper on the bus bubble? And two SHE also knew that he was not going to be able to talk out of IT because Bobby was the kind of guy who would not be talked out of something once. His mind was me.

So she's like, why bother? exactly? He knew how I was gonna. Turns out he was right.

And just a few weeks later, they were now the official new owners of the building at forty four looking pike. But what a name, haunted s building looking pike licking ke. That every time you say, i'm like, are you sure? No, no, no.

And the answer is no. But it's C, K, I N, G. No, that's looking.

yeah. No other way to say I didn't think so. Just like, does that why licking pike? Link pike.

Like IT, i'd like to like pie. Oh, i'd love pie, right? sure. Let's call forty four pii. But a few days after signing the papers that made IT official, the makers were at the club.

But like kind of cleaning out all the integrations that had just been left by the owner and all the random junk, and they spotted somebody in the doorway of the club. Now the figures started Janet, who probably was questioning whether IT was an actual person or not since dr. But he called IT to bobbi to investigate.

And as he got closer, he could see that that figure was actually a real person. This person look to be about twenty years old, little bit shorter in Bobby, and just know, casually dressed. Ah, he was OK.

I'm carl, carl and carl. I like the monkey before jimmie neutron. I know his family is paul. Never mind cloth, but there's a carl in your new trims. So there I am. Anyways, I don't know what's going himself as girl lost and he explained that he had worked at the hard rock before IT shut down and ever since I had shut down, he'd been out of work and he said, you know, I figured I just come by, introduced myself, I know this place inside and know if you need any help i'm your guy said, I don't think the criminal element yet so like, I could help let you in on all of that he said, if there's anything you need to know about this place on the man to ask and then he said, I even saw a guy get guilty here once, which I was like, I I know you to throw that what like black I like.

You like that part of weird flex guy I saw a guy get killed just like, I know everything about this place even the murder of he's like, welcome to this building I saw someone lose their life here a lot. Welcome home. It's like, okay, lot so much.

So i'm probably for that reason Janet t wasn't so sure about carat first yeah but again, he was five months pregnant at the time and Bobby knew that too, obviously so he was like i'm probably good to need some extra help around here sooner or later. No, let's take curl up on the offer you and he also figured in genetech, too, that curlews knowledge about the club would make him an outset along the way, especially once they opened the place, for sure. So he started all right away, and he seemed to be over the moon to be back.

He loved being there. I thought this was a red flag first. It's not okay because I was going to be like, what is going on with her? No, because I feeling he just really loves.

So if you love what you do, you never work again in your life. That I think, I think curl loved this place. And I also think that this place loved curl.

I was beautiful. It's not though. Oh, okay. yeah. Like that sounds, I don't know. So i'm really flying by the thing of my friend here. I don't literally her so I thought that was beautiful, but apparently and it's not i'm interested to see why it's not beautiful.

Might be beautiful like in the very end, but I feel like at this moment in time the place was like calling to coral, in my opinion and not calling like, hey, I miss you it's calling like OK I kind like that that makes them yeah that makes a lot of yeah you know but he also told Janet once he started, he said, don't worry about the ghost in here. They are my friends. He's a door really sweet.

I kind of love. I love him a lot. I love carl. Love you. But he just wrote the comment off to carl having, you know like a bit of an offbeat personality and not much more yeah you know SHE would probably feel different as her time at the club one on uh, and actually a few days later SHE pretty I feel pretty different.

Uh, so a few days later he was cleaning in the main room of the club and SHE heard arguing again coming from the kitchen a kind of sounded like the same voices that he had heard the first day that SHE and Bobby had come to the club. So SHE made her way to the kitchen again, very cautious ously. This time and again, SHE found IT completely empty.

And as soon as he walked in, though, he heard a weird sound coming from the sink. So SHE went over to check that out. And as SHE peared into the sink, IT started to fill up with a thick red liquid that looked like blood.

So he started backing away from the same, completely horrified. But then suddenly he felt a huge hand on her back that started pushing her back toward the sink. Oh my god. And she's at the more he struggled, the stronger of the force seem to get all the IT seemed her like whatever was pushing her was determined to force her head under this liquid.

I would want to talk to carl immediately and be like, are these your friends? Well, then you would have been happy because immediately he came running into kitch, responding to screaming ing. And as he walked in the four sled up, SHE littered like later, jenette said, if IT wasn't for him, who knows what would have happened next? Believe you've ttl talk to your friends, carl.

You Better set them straight. Here you said, these goes for your friends. This goes, just try to use this on you.

You are who you hang with, okay, guilty by association. You Better make this right. You are the company.

You keep literate. So gene in coral immediately went to Bobby because they would like visual this place. Yeah, this is not good. They were like, I almost just got drowned in a sink full of blood.

And I also heard fanta arguing, just like the first day that we got here, which that sounds so like just, we don't even need dimension and anymore this, but like as a fan of arguing, that's terrifying and then this thing filled up with the blood, and they tried to danger. And like, oh, export, talk about the arguing anymore, honest, sly, forget IT. Well, Bobby didn't want to talk about any of that.

He was just like that. I really think there's anything going on here what which I would like invalidating me as well. Yeah, I am Carrying our child.

Do you bitch? I feel like, why would I make that up? Like that's a weird thing to make up. I don't know. Maybe if he thought that like SHE didn't want the club something, but that's like our here want to make up? Yeah, I don't know, but he said, I don't believe even goes, there's going to be some other explanation.

Someone else can be that yeah obviously let me tell you the rough drew would face if I had a ghost hand shove my ice closer to a fuck and thankful of red woods that wanted to put my head under that. And he was just like, believe so off. I am angry.

Yeah, I I B, I angry. You know what this faces? It's the face of an irritated woman, angry. upset. So china and coral, they really yeah I don't really care if you believe us are their spirits here, Bobby. yeah.

And before long, they would not be the only ones to think that because a few days after the attack on Janet in the kitchen, patrol officer like literal police officer Larry horn's bee was doing his rounds and he pulled into the parking lot of bobbi market, is just to do weep. Now, while he was parked in a lot, he thought he saw somebody moving around inside the club, which was closed at the time. So he was a good shit that that could be a broken.

So he called for back up an additional officer. And one start officer arrived. The two of them went into the building, announcing themselves as they went in the front door.

Inside the club was completely dark, and horsey was actually starting to second guess what he had seen through the window. He was like, like, maybe my explained trick like that I just got back up for exactly. But just as he was second guessing himself, both officers started hearing noises from the back stage area of the club, hornsby said.

I knew there was a man and woman and a and a radio playing. I heard the voices and I heard the music. So they heard all of that.

When they reached the area where the noises were coming from, they found that the room was completely empty. But as they were searching the room, they heard the front door slam shut. what? So at that point they were like, I guess like somebody wasn't even know, they just flood.

So maybe they really want someone in here. No way. So they reported what they found, and they left the club for the night.

And i'm sure they probably they were like them, like somebody evaded us. Yeah, dim. We just got, got hop. Sue, just a few days later. Fue, just a few days later, horne was back at Bobby makers. And this time he was actually responding to the scene of an um of an accident in the parking well. okay.

And by this time he and his partner, excuse me, sorry, by the time he and his partner were able to get the driver out of the car, the guy had unfortunately died, I know, and now was laying out on the pavement. So hornsby didn't want to cause a scene. So he started looking around for something in his car that he could use to cover the body like and er, I guess before the first responders got there.

And as he was doing that, he said this Young woman came up to him and offered him a table cloth like the ones that they had inside the club. So you just like, oh, w that wages was so helpful. Yeah, going to be great.

So after he handed IT to him, he went back inside, and, you know, he just one about his job. But later, once the scene had been cleared, he went inside to go thank the woman for the table cloth in a suit. As he got to the door, he realized IT was locked and IT didn't look like anybody had been in the building for hours.

What a nice ghost, right? wow. Yeah, that was nice. And there were a nice ghost. And there is the thing.

There's really fucked up ones, but there's some nice one. Yeah, that was nice. Here's look, look, I agree. So as spring turned to summer, Bobby was doing a bunch of innovations, and Bobby engineer, and they were started, you know, come along slowly, until a fire threatened to undo everything that bobbi had planned for the club.

The fire started on the night of july eighth, one thousand nine hundred and seventy, and when firefighters got the call, they were told that the fire was of an unexplained or origin u, and that I had started in one of the older parts of the building. Now, according to the fire chief at the time at word sender buck, investigators had no idea and still down to this day what started the blaze. But luckily they were able to get IT under control, and they didn't do too much damage.

Club, but I did do some damage, the damages totally, around two thousand dollars, but they were enough to push back the official opening of the club a few more. And yeah, you're going to lose some money and you're going to lose some money and you were so close to so later that summer, thinks that Bobby maker's music world, bobbi magic, Bobby max, I couldn't think. Bobby make's music world, I magic world.

Why do I want to say magic? I don't know. It's like spirits. yeah. So Crystal, so I took me three times and youth and again, feed. I'm not supposed to say that.

I guess I just go fuck myself because I want to say magic and of music and I don't know that his music where you go, you say Better for both of us. So i'm always with well, little about the summer, thinks that bobbi Maggies music world, we're finally coming together and everything was on track for their september opening. Janet and carl, though we're still hearing weird fucking noises in the club.

good. But there hadn't been any more violent encounters, even the one that genet the kitchen with the blood that was violent for everybody. Very violent there.

Uh, but that all changed. In late August, SHE went a little while without being violent, attacked, but then he was violently attacked again in late August. And this time I was really scary, because, remember, she's pregnant.

All I forgot. So this not only threatened her life, but the life of their unborn baby. Oh, no, if this is scary, because according to janti, you've been cleaning the office on the second floor, and suddenly he got a weird feeling like SHE wasn't alone in the room.

And when SHE swept her way back at the office and onto the landing at the top of the stairs, SHE felt a man's hand grab her by the art. And the shock of, you know, that happening in no one being there caused her to cry out. And whatever had a hold of her actually let go momentarily, but then pushed her and caused her to stumble forward.

And then a second push came from behind just seconds later. And that one sent her tumbling down the stairs, the entire flight of stairs. Oh my god.

He felt all the way to the first law in. Later, he said, when SHE glassed up, SHE thought that he saw the shadow of a man standing on the landing. And then I quickly disappeared.

Oh, that's fucked up, right? So obviously that fucking terrified her. And at that point he was six months pregnant, my god.

In looking back on IT, SHE later said, I was so terrified because I thought I was going to lose my day. Yeah, I was angry. I was terrified.

I was everything. So, obviously, taking the fall like that when your pregnant is really concerned, no matter how far along are you, how far along you are. So they decided Bobby and Janet to go right to the E.

R. yeah. And Janet actually ended up having to be induce months. So he gave birth to a baby girl who had only one pound and fifteen answers, oh my. Now the baby had to stand the hospital for weeks.

But then SHE was finally stable enough to go home with her. My god, SHE look, wow, can you? That is six months.

Like there is much to be in there another three months, then. That's so scary. That's a really scary. And even though they would like the immediate danger was totally behind them, janne t was done, and SHE refused to step foot in the club again.

And you know what's scary? IT immediately made me think of him, try the other guy trying to induce some miscarriage with perl. Okay, because I immediately like, what the fuck is that? So is really scary.

Yep, and you are on to something. So good, good, good, good. Hang the following.

Your ribes there. Good job in. Good job. Good job. So after dantes of all on the stairs, carl started trying to talk to Bobby about what was going on.

Ah yeah he was like, hey, dude, I tried to tell you before like this places haunted and like maybe we should try to find somebody who could get the spirit neligan it's not coming back forever that full part of IT but but is like there's nothing super natural go on I know well one, he didn't want any bad publicity or rumors negatively affecting the business because give me people work at home that's the thing that seemed to be like this thing throughout this whole journey of like not wanting to affect the business. But I like no people love, haunt a chit. Oh yeah, people would be there from all over.

You know how many most unting things in the world there is? Yeah, a millions. So many.

But also, he hadn't experienced any of the supernatural phenomenon himself. And for that reason he still didn't believe in ghosts. I don't know about body bobbies.

I gotta see you to believe that kind of a no boy. So throw out trying to open the club. Obviously, there was a lot of setbacks in the last one was a faulty sprinkle system.

They realize that during the fire. And since that, excuse me, and since that posted a serious safety risk, the opening was pushed back yet again. So bobbi promised to, with the fire department into the town, that he would have a repaired.

And in september, he was finally granted for two. In september, he was finally granted permission to open on october twenty seventh, one thousand and seventy eight. No, Bobby makyth music, words of magic, of magic and grander, how its grand opening with performances by jack reno, I think, and Bobby himself, no cool.

He's actually really for untalented. But unfortunately, the excitement of the grand opening was very short lived, because in early december, bobbi got a written order of closure from the kentucky firearms, which gives me caudium glibly. S oh yeah, because he failed to fix the sprinkle system.

I'll get fix. You're supposed do when you say you, well, yeah, you do. I guess you have like a lot of other things that pinky promise and go back yeah no. Takes these back these Bobby. But the notice also specified, not only would Bobby need to fix the sprinkler system, he would also need to fix any other faulty wiring.

So now they were going have to go through the whole fucking in place and figured out and he was a bit worried because fixing those issues was one be costly on top of everything else darling put into the club. And for the first time, he was starting to face the fact to that he might need to start all over again from scratch. You know, he told the since sani inquire, if IT isn't feasible for me to go on with this place, i'm going to try to find another building close by.

I'll definitely land on my feet. The club is something i've been really dedicated to in the last year in three months. I I believe in him too.

I know what you should have because fortunately, the interruption was only temporary and barbi opened back up just a short time later. Without having to move the business. I love that you got british there.

I don't really know I did. But what happened? Crystals, Crystals. But I like he opened up without having to move the business.

Was that a good thing or a bad thing? Yeah, probably bad thing. You decide. I will, you will, I will.

Now, with the major problems behind them or so they hoped, Bobby's hard work did seem to be paying off again. The club was doing really good business, especially on the weekends, and he was getting really good reviews, but the supernatural experiences continued. When you just said the supernatural experiences continued, yeah, I was like, what does that sound continued.

I thought IT was the broadcasting. I was like, fun me. I thought we were explode.

I know that I got something fell off of something else with noise. It's always, and I listened to, I watch, see, you're just so visual. And over there I stopped and I. The real if you thought we are going to slide, so you start listen to watch no of thought I was quite the way to take care.

I mean, what else was going to do? What was I meant to do? What was I made to do? Are we keeping the same? Ah why not something supernatural? Just pretty sure.

right. well. The supernatural experience has continued. And now customers, we're beginning to experience. So shit, good thing you don't have because customer but he was really trying to keep these paraNormal rumors about the club from circulating because god, he thought he was Better for business.

But carl would tell anyone and everyone about the ghost in the carl knows. I mean, that's like you had to tell them about inform number one selling point, I think. So one night, one of the clubs regulars, my gruber, I think, is how you say that was quite making fun of carl and his ghost friend.

And til, why would you do that? He found out, he walked around and he found out because he was making fun of cards ghost from there as he was riding the metal bull, which is like a really bold time to make fun of someone else, is very. And as he was riding, the things started to speed up out of control, my god.

And IT reached full speed. Might call out like slow the fuck thing down, carl. But carl couldn't control the machine and a gun nuts.

And mike said, I was like some force to control of the ball. Yeah, the force you made one of me. Listen, this is the only story that I doubt.

I don't think this was paraNormal. I think karl said, fuckyou. I all thank you.

I also thought, yes, that's the only one that I said, yeah, I think carles, oh my god, I can control. This also is a dick. It's like some force and carls like it's me.

I'm the force. It's it's me. Hi, i'm the first sits me you hi, my name is the force.

But beyond the owners and the customers of bobbi mckey, even people who came to do work on the place experience, strange happening. I stay with, stay away one afternoon. A carpenter, john y france, which like, what a fucking name. And Johnson france, I believe, yeah, that you are.

I think he was hot yeah john y friends had john's friends has to be that would be so disappointing if like I didn't think he was hard yeah because a little opinion and I don't want to say that if he was in heart because like you might think you are like I not indian john friends, but he was alone in the main area of the club and he was doing some repair. He was doing, you know, my friend, my friend, yes, we we. We were so like I tell you, and we jody friends have enough fridge.

Yeah, but he was doing some more peas. And while he was, he claims that he saw, quote, an entire row of chairs fall over one after the one after another, as if they were dominos. Maybe they were.

They weren't the chairs. And according to friends, the chairs, quote, fell over as if something invisible was in the room, walking between the chairs and knocking them over. Oh, that's spooky.

Isn't that so creepy? yeah. And carl had actually seen a very similar, everything happened just a few weeks earlier. So this only solidified his feeling that the club was haunted.

Yeah, i'd say so now, while the goal stories circulated among the patrons on the staff, at body makers and the people that to work for them, everyone just seemed like amused by them. yeah. But carl, on the other hand, was getting increasingly obsessed with these haunting good for him.

You know, like, live in, have an interest. Live in research. yeah. Now, one day, while he was cleaning the basement, he noticed a loose floorboard.

So he pulled IT completely lose, and he found a hiding place where somebody had had in a diary, or jack, the dream litter dream. I am dying to school across the floor board, loosen IT all the way and find somebody y's old asia ancient astir. Do I think you should read an action? Astir probably not like what I.

Yes, most likely it's. So according to carl, the diary belonged to john. And I think that because Bobby mckee read a song about johana in this whole fucking thing, and that's the song, it's way Better than that here.

There is a really good voice does I don't know, I said actually like I doubted him but you you know that that i'm not really a country that always say that i'm not at all so I absolutely say that but he has a wonderful voice. He does he almost has like folk yeah vibe, but country too yeah. Anyways, carl found the diary of johana, a former show girl I shut the first like immediately resonated, this is so good.

I love IT. And he had worked at the club way back when, and as he read through the diary, the pieces of her life started to come together. He read that johana had been in love with one of the clubs musician show, show the fucker.

Love, love story. But apparently her father was super against her. Having any feelings for this guy totally disapproved. Totally, totally. Did start cross lovers, start cross lovers and he was like, you can have feelings for him and you did like which?

Like, you can like, how do you forbid that I don't feel things like I can help that, okay, but the feel we're going to use, okay, bring you to frozen. He also was like, you definitely can pursue them. What you can have those feelings and two, you butt them up, persued them though.

Now, when he found out that they were Carrying out a relationship secretly, if you made a forbidden man, you made a Better yeah. And he forbid them again he was like, I forgive you, johanna johana, from seeing this man ever again and actually all fucking tell him, if you see him again I believe dad, you the call is really weird so so later this musician disappeared without a trace, immediately suspected her father, yeah. He said he would kill him, would suspect as so SHE poison her dad.

And then he took her own life. And SHE was SHE vote. I said to rome, the hall of the nightly b until forever waiting for the musician to return.

I'm sorry. One, what a, what a climactic ending there, how we want to haunt the place. Not that user, you know, but also give me that diary, right? Give me that diary, because that is a Better story that I could ever come up.

So basically, i'm trying to go to Bobby make's music world yeah you want to go ah I don't have any other reason i'll go to can tucky other than bobbi mckey music world of magic. But in a pretty short time, carl realized johana was one of the friendly or ghost. Yeah, maybe he was murder, but only for people that because are dead.

But what happens like because it's dad, but he may have been a murder. Her maybe, you know, we don't know, we allegedly that's the best part of IT maybe perhaps if he really took chance. Yes, I know he ruled the and but he car was ignored like that.

My girl and he even actually started to come to see her as a friend and a protector, and but at the same time he was like, maybe he was the one responsible for the attacks on, oh, john, because he was like, maybe he was pregnant at the time of her death. And SHE resented Janet's pregnant presence in the club. I mean, doesn't sound like you had any evidence to that fact, but like, no, literally I but yes, he was still ize.

yeah. And he figured that was the motivation behind the attacks. Now I should say, in the year since karl supposedly found diary, nobody was actually able to find any evidence that SHE ever existed.

And there's also no evidence of the murder of her lover that makes me upset. But not that he didn't murder someone, but like, her d didn't murder someone, but like, I wanted johana the show girl to exist. I think you might like johana that road a diary hit on the forward.

So I believe in curl is what i'll say. I'll believe in curl yeah I think johana existed. I mean, I think we're taking that like pregNancy thing to a yeah that to a speculative place.

But right like I don't know, I don't know. It's her pushing Janet and the years that blame something like a man. Well, right, I don't think I was just, but the thing is, carls going to realize that and do time OK more.

You, carl smart. So a lot of people, not including me, were skeptical. Al, what did I just say? I was skeptical about.

A lot of people were skeptical. You were skeptical? Al, no, I was skeptical.

able. I even say gable, skeptic. Gable, no. A lot of people, not myself included, were skeptical. Yeah, you got to about whether or not the body is the magic of body makyth via the world that overtook me is the maki. It's imagine so, but okay, so so they were skeptic goal about if SHE exist, ted or not.

But there actually is verifiable proof of the other two ghosts are believed, were haunting the club so the night after he discovered a johns diary, carl, who was living in a space above the club at that point, like a little apartment, he woke up from a deep sleep and couldn't breathe um so he slowly started being able to breathe again but as he got like all of his breath back, the power in the entire building went out which meant that he had to go down to the basement to reset the brokers no, thank you. So he did because he was like, I hasn't goes up and here that like me no but as he was down there, he happened to notice yet another loose floor board in the basement. Look at this man.

I know now, when he pulled at that one, IT revealed a hatch covering that deep well that had been used by the mer slaughter to drink the blood in the fluid from the animals, all my, and he said, as he stared into the well, which, like in general, I would never recommend, no, don't stand into a well. He started to feel an evil presence surrounding him in the basement. And IT was so freaky to him that he literally fled back upstairs into his apartment.

I just had this really scary feeling of falling in to that. Well, yeah, I don't like that. That's why I don't recommend looking in the house for a while.

Quick peek and and say, no, i'm not going to ict end. I do anywhere what you have to know take a picture must don't even take a picture, not me, someone else take a picture out out the picture. It'll last longer.

And that's not necessarily I just want to following IT, but h out that keep I know I try get out. I was listening to waves my chain pola this morning. And mega, I don't know what happened.

I don't know what happened. I I don't know. So in the days that followed the discovery of the world, which I never recommend looking into, like i've said, no, carl, and this is why I don't recommend looking into walls.

Ironic and unpredictable. Ah, i'm looking back, Bobby. I were called I got to the point where I wouldn't know which carl I was talking to. I'd have to talk to him for a little while to figure out how to deal with him, because he always seem to be different, poor.

I know if he was going through IT, because the thing was, when he discovered the well, carl became convinced that the stories that he had heard about brian's head were true, which that I could be. And IT doesn't necessarily need to be like satire. exactly.

They could be. They just threw in the world because they would ever find IT. exactly.

Now, he was worried about the molecule and spirits in the club, and he was worried that they were weight. I fucked that upside. He was worried that the malevolent spirits in the club were actually Pearls killers.

Yeah, got Jackson and alonzo walling. He figured and understood that they were probably the ones who attacked in IT. Because, remember, perl was also pregnant when they killed her because they didn't want her to be pregnant.

yes. And now carl was really worried that alonzo and would not stop until they had driven everyone out of the club for good. I fully believe with me, too.

So his instinct was to get the fuck out there and never come back again. yeah. But at the same time, he was worried about leaving bobbi and Janet because the kind of sounds like killik really thought of them like family. He was fully that the the building and the land were evil, but he just cared too much about them to leave them behind. That's precious and that's why I love curl increase trust.

Now as we all know at this point, since buying the property and owning the club, bobbi had completely dismissed any claims of this place being added, but in the weeks following the discovery of the well in the basement, he just couldn't ignore the fact that something was causing coral a whole lot of, or the fact that his wife had never been comfortable at the club. And now i'm refused to return. There's that.

But at the same time, he was still mindful or like thought that the rumors could affect the business. But he also wanted to cause, wanted to relieve whatever was causing curl so much stress. yeah.

So he reached out to his friend, dog, who was a paraNormal researcher and who was actually living in the area at the time. The good friend I know, and dog was like, you know what, I will do whatever I can to help you. Now, this is plucking howlt oman.

I'm strapped so during his research, because, you know, he likes research just like us. And nave hensley came across like numerous stories of the tragedy in the death that occurred on the property where the club once stood. But the one that stood out to him the most was the murder of pero ba hya, obviously.

So he ducked deeper and deeper into the story, and he found out that while those two killers stood on the gallows, waiting for the door to drop out beneath them, one of them vowed that he would come back and haunt everyone involved in the trial and the place where perles had had been left. Guys, her head is in that well, right, her head is in that well, I actually don't know if if I will knew IT is IT is one hundred percent. I be true.

Believe that. I believe that makes them I think they're probably just like can get back there. Yeah, IT might just be too deep to knows how far that goes down exactly.

So between the discovery of the well and the other haunted happenings at the club and the changes in carls behavior, dug anley begin convinced that Scott Jackson and along the walling were hunting the club. And we're determined to destroy a car law specifically. I think he must have been like an ampthill.

Wow, like an eh, no, I think he just was one. This is wild. So doug really wanted to resolve this issue for everyone involved.

So he reached out to a local psychic medium, Patricia, a shell. Yeah, right. yeah.

right. Yet for post. I absolutely, of course, like Patricia, Michelle is a great name. Now SHE claims that he has the ability to communicate with the dead, and he has had that ability, says SHE was a trial.

And as soon as he got to the club, SHE told everyone there, which I respect, that SHE didn't wanna know anything about the property, didn't know anything about the history and didn't want to. And SHE wanted them to stay completely silent while he took a walk around and looked at things, well, yeah. So in one room, SHE actually did get the impression of the spirit of a woman who said her name was john.

Now, according to Patricia, johana knew that he was dead inside, that he wanted to stay up the club, to wait for her boyfriend to join her. Me thinks carl was right after all. Yes, I don't know.

What if they actually never died? He often once somewhere else, I would suck. Well, that like I think that that killed them yeah. Now, after towing the upper floors of the club, carl, Bobby and dug went with petition down into the basement, where SHE got an entirely different and way more aggressive feeling than he had in there with joe ha.

Now petition had told them that he could see the room, quote, like I used to be, and he was referring to when I was originally figured as the basement of the slaughterhouse. So carl pulled back the hatch on the floor to show her the dark after that used to be the well. And petition a said that inside, SHE saw Pearls head floating in the well, and SHE backed away from IT like SHE like visualize.

So we should now. Later, he talked about the experience and he said, I felt like I was spinning. I couldn't wait to get out of there.

I'm telling you, I am telling you, they put perle's head in that. Well, I know IT. So back upstairs, petition filled everyone in on what he saw. SHE walked the building and he told them, I think what is in Bobby makes in nightclub are ghosts that believe there is no place for them to go so they would prefer to live in this nightclub than to go on to a place where they may burn for eternity. Because their assets exactly, some of them some of them like the guys.

So hon is probably because you know dict red up that but he also explained that he did believe Scott and alonzo were specifically targeting carl yeah and he said they were using him as a conduit for their rage. And causing him mental english in the process. I know, right? So he said the only solution would be a to have a priest or a minister come out and bless the space and to have an exercise for coral or so.

Bobbi, after all of this, yet still didn't believe in ghosts. I mean, one thing about Bobby is that he's going to stand his ground. That's what boy Bobby, two things about boby, he's to stand his ground and great fucking and song from two things about bob, two things about, three things about Bobby.

Though he is a good friend, he is, I feel that about Bobby, he is. So he agreed to find somebody who could help them with the exercise because he was worried about his friend. yeah.

So IT took some time and, you know, a few uncomfortable conversations with people, but eventually he came across this guy that he knew Larry kidwell, who thought that he might know someone who could help. Larry happened to work in television and radio advertising. And the reason he actually knew bobbi was because they had worked on a commercial with a night club together.

They just like stating contact. They weren't really close by any means. But Larry knew bobbi well enough to know that he was not joking when he explained what had happened to genet and what was actively happening to carl.

Yeah, but like Bobby, Larry was pretty skeptical and had a hard time believing in something he couldn't see your experience himself, but at the same time willing to give the benefit of the dow and willing to reach out to his friend glen cole, who was a local pentax stal minister who might be willing to help. Oh, good. So unlike bobbi and Larry, glam coal actually had no trouble believing that the club was hunted.

That's one thing about them. That's one thing about planned for you. According to Larry reverent, cole explained, spirits and demons don't possessed buildings, but they do exist in structures where people live or come and go, so they can possessed those humans when they choose.

But sucks. Now, given the history of the property, and like the whole fuck and marrid of tragedies that happened on the site, river in call was like, yeah, I think it's entirely possible that this place is haunted. And more importantly, he felt a very urgent need to meet with carl to to determine whether he was in spiritual danger.

Not, yes. So a few days later, he got to Bobby mckee, and he wanted to talk to carl and kind of take a look around the place, just like petition a male. Now, almost immediately reverent coal felt uncomfy and doug hands, I remembered meeting this rubber n for the first time, and he said, he told me this was the most evil site that he had ever stepped foot on in his entire life.

And IT was full of evil. Wo it's kind of attention but like you are going to saying that kind of evil that is pretty though yeah but when you think about IT, when you told me the perl brian story, it's like they killed her by decapitating her yeah, he died getting her head sought. That is the most evil shit you can possibly imagine.

absolutely. So I got pregnant issues pregnant. And this used to be a laughter house. Like animals be killed that happening very in multiple people have died on this proper. Like, yeah, there a lot has gone down so after he heard about carls experiences at the club, the reverence said, i've been doing this for years and i'm telling you, carl lawson is demonic. Ally possessed some man.

So days later, on the evening of july twenty five thousand nine hundred and eighty two, bobbi mckee took the stage with his band because he said the show must go on as Bobby mckee s music world of magic hya. And he was going to perform for a packed house of country music fans and like this, that's a another thing about Bobby. The show must go on now.

The band had been playing for a like a little bit when carl, who was working that night, caught a wife of smoke from somewhere in the building. And minutes later, one of the patrons gilled something out about a fire in the band immediately. So from the stage, Bobby was like, please, just like exit in a common, orderly fashion.

Like we got to get everybody out of here calmly. yeah. Into his surprise, everybody actually excited the building calmly, without the slightest hint of panic.

I don't sound human to me. Me either now is the patent filed out of the club. Carl tracked the smoke to a small fire in the kitchen.

Oh, in the wilder fire department were just arriving as caron Bobby. We're able to put the fire out themselves with extinguishers in just a short time later. They were given the all clear from the fire department to just go on with that night's performance. Well, what where did that fire come from? well.

Morbid has brought to you by progressive. Most of you aren't just listening right now. You're driving, cleaning, even exercising. But what if you could be saving money by switching to progressive drivers who saved by switching save nearly seven hundred and fifty dollars on average, and auto customers qualify for an average of seven discounts. Multi task right now, quote today at progressive dark com progressive casualty insurance company in a phillips national average twelve months savings of seven hundred forty four dollars by new customer surveyed who saved with progressive between june twenty twenty two and may twenty twenty three. Potential savings will vary discounts not available in all states ua.

Bobby was surprised, but also happy that most of the parents who had been hiding in the urb, hiding, waiting in the parking lot, they were eager to come back inside, because they also believes that the show must go. They were hiding out there that they were like, surprised we look the the only fire, we started the fire. That's little side.

No follow boy made a new weed and start the fire because they thought they needed an update because this happens since the last one that you can say really fast like ilegal. Oh my god. I saw on the news this morning and I was like, are IT that's cool? Okay, I like that.

And I decided to hear that my screen name used to be followed. Girl, one thousand and ninety six. Well, yeah, word curl.

On the other hand, he couldn't help but wonder if the fire had a more sinister origin than just like a simple kitchen fire. I also can help one of me, he wondered if the evil spirits that, you know, we're haunting him. We're threatened by the reference presence a few days earlier.

And now this fire was them trying to prevent him from coming back to the close. Yeah, carl knows what's up. Carl does.

But a few days later, revering cold did come back to the club to perform the exercise that would maybe rid carl in the nightclub of the spirits that haunted them. The car was surprised to find that the reference was accompanied by a reporter in three camera. Man, were you surprised? Not cool.

But rever in call said, you know, they were just there to document things, quote, just in case anything happens. Yeah, if I was called like I going to die, I don't know about this. I said he was worried about the reporters being there, and he told the reverence, but he was also worried about getting hurt.

But the reverence was, like, notice. And i've done this antuna times, nothing to worry about. He said.

I've been in the ministry for eighteen years and i've come close to seeing at all, come close, close. But you are. So there's some stuff theme still unhappy with this.

I think that could happen here a little bit. You might actually see you here. So for that reason, carl was apprehensive, but he was also hopeful and he was, like, ready to do this.

So he LED rever coal in the reporters to the old kitchen. And that's where the exercise was going to be performed. okay?

Now the room at that point was mostly being used for storage. So especially since the innovation. So the men had to push all the clutter out of the way before they could set up.

Now, once they figured they had adequate space, they set up a table. And coral was to sit just across from called the reverent. And he started exciting a prayer and asking for the lord's help and cleaning the space of its spirits.

Now, within a matter of minutes, rever coals that he started to notice a change in carle's body language, I guess his palm ms. Were pressed really hard into the table, and his heads started nodding up and down, he quote, began mumbling something under his breath and a low in different tone of voice. I don't like that.

I don't like IT either. Gives me as step on from the sweet life of second code. And that episode fucked me up when I was little.

I haven't no idea what you're talking about, but I imagine that is uncomfortable if you is a one you know, now, while revered coal went on with his prayer, carl was having a hard time talking, but continued his rusty breathing. And I guess that started like right after cold began reading from the bible. He started like doing a weird rasp, breathing.

Now, he called, kept going on, commanding the spirits, trying to guide them out. Know what did you? And as he was talking, you're not going to perform that their spirit ool.

But carls eyes seemed he, the reverence said, to be completely fixated on him the reverence. And finally, carl spoke in a strange voice and told the reverent quote, they'll get me while i'm alone in here. Oh, which like, I have goose bumps right right now.

Oh, now for some, like that's the thing. Like the fucking creamed me out, but the reverent believes that the voice was intended to trick him and like prey on his sympathy. Like IT was coming from the experience and not coral.

Oh, right. So the exchange between the restaurant and the spirits that seem to be in happening carls body went on for what seemed like hours, with the room praying over call carl, who seemed resistant to what this guy was saying. But finally, carles body seemed to start jerking and spying as revering cal continued to comment these spirits to leave his body.

And then finally, coral fell limp. In moments later, he looked up at the reverence and said, I feel different. Something in me has changed.

Oh, I hope Better, right? So he smiled. And he seemed pleased that the exercise appeared to have worked.

Now outside the kitchen, Larry kidwell watched as the foreign osman walked out of the room, and they all had kinda disappointed looks on their faces, I think, because they've open and someone would die. exactly. no.

And you know, he understood why. He also expected a big spectacle from the exercise, like something you would see in the movies. But instead, the whole thing kind of seem to end with like a whisper in a bang.

I love that they like, oh, man, IT worked. God, dem shit. That guy is fine. But sensing leary's disappointment, revering coal made sure that everyone was out of earshot and then told Larry IT isn't over, carl, or a spirit was lying to me. The spirit aren't gone.

Carl was either protecting them because he's terribly afraid, or he doesn't want them to leave. Oh, this was not the end. And apparently, like in some, like generations of the story, that's where IT ends, like with coral, like in that moment being cared.

But then me, and they found other versions of the story where all of this happens. So a few weeks later, rever coal returned to backs yet again. And he wanted to finish what he had started a week earlier.

Now the second exercise was said to be a hell of a lot more difficult in taxing than the first one. According to duck, ki IT took weeks with the revert, praying over coral while he, just like, rise around an agony. no.

And in one instance, after one of the poor sessions, carl was alone in his room. This is really growth, and like, really scary. And he noticed his underwear had been soaked in what seemed like blood h.

So he went to the bathroom to check himself out. And he realized he was breeding from hambros that seemingly had developed instantaneously. He didn't have them before he was getting exercise.

And now all the sudden he had them and they were bleeding insanely. Maybe that's like the demons going, perhaps dog ensley said. IT was not just ordinary hambros.

These were tremendous and size, growing, growing and spreading like poison ivy. Big boy and rates. just. They were big.

The tremendous is tree from growing inside. Like, what should I way they get Better? no.

Honest, sly, no problem. That's suck. So carl was obviously in a comic and started crying out to the spirits.

And he was like, listen, I promise I will keep the river from returning if you feel so. I was laughing at the description of that. Like, tremendous is a while adjective to use. Let me know why dukan, sly wildman.

And now, after a week of no hunting or demonic activity after this, because everything, like, got put to a stance, carl was starting to think that his promise was successful in keeping spirits at bay. But then revering coal and Larry kidwell showed up unexpectedly and apparently threatened to destroy the little amount of peace that karl had managed to find for himself. Oh, no.

Now I guess you like carl was like, for a minute, I was like, knocked unna let them into my apartment and he figured he could run or hide from them until they went away. But at the same time, he knew that what the demons wanted. And as long as he did what they wanted, he was never going to be free from god.

So he let them inside, and he walked with them to the kitchen. Larry set up the cameras and left the room. Now, as soon as river coal started back up his prayers, carl was really, really upset.

And coal was like, gLance, this is going to be the final time. Like, I know IT. Like, we're so close, just stick with me here.

But carl said, but what about johana buck, referring to the former show girl in the owner of the premises? And he told the revenue, they don't bother anybody. Oh my god, Carol. And that's when revd call realized that this was what he kind of figured all along. There was some part of cowl that didn't want the haunting to end because he really cared about those two spirits.

You've become attached to them over the past three years so they're got like an argument about IT and carl insisted that mister, the last time and buck wanted to stay with him and reveal was like, listen, they're not gonna any peace in neither or you unless we let them move on to the next whatever. So before they were able to reach an understanding calls, voice changed dramatically. First to this weird snail of a man calling himself sam tucker, and then to the rasp of another entity who ever and all knew to be chartly.

And that was another one of the spirits inhabiting cause carle's body. Now they cycled through one entity after the other and insisted they didn't anna leave and demanded that revering calls seized his attempts to exercise them from. So IT went on that way for hours with all of these entities, like confronting reference call.

And then he was just turn, praying of a coral, demanding that they leave. Then finally, after hours of this and shouting, carl's body began to drink in passing again in response to the reverse word words. In this time, he forced his hands on the table, pushed the chair way back from the minister, trying to escape the exercise.

And actually, but at that point, rever call grab ed carl held him tightly, finished his prayers one by one in all of the spirits, left carls battered body at at this point, until all of them were gone. Now I said, yeah, now, later, after the revert had left, carl actually finally felt like he was truly alone in the club for the first time in three years, even more because he had worked there even before. Now the thought of never feeling johann's presence, though, again, disappointed him, but he remembered what rever coal had told him.

Rever cold told him, when a spirit or spirits are cast out, they searched the world over looking for a new home. If they can't find one, they return to their old house. And if that house doesn't clean and filled with another spirit, they'll return with seven more or, and that person is much worse often before.

It's very important that you start going to church. You have to filter yourself with logic. This, and more importantly, you can never entertain these spirits again.

If you ever feel their presence, you have to pray for the lord to wash and cleans you. You have to resist them. I was with you for part of that.

You you got to the seven spirit of shit like you that sounded nice before. Yeah, because IT was like IT. It'll come back right and be like him home but then he was like, he had seven assets with them.

And I know I don't want to demand church inches. Get out if you really call you ve done enough yeah. So throughout the late seventies and eighties, Bobby mckee went out of his way too, as we know, keep those rumors of demons and goats from spreading and negatively affecting the business.

But by the nineties, word had spread because, you know, there was a whole of excised in his restaurant. Yeah, that'll get around night clubs. Excuse me, word had spread, and there was really no way around the fact that now people were actually more interested in the ghost than they were in the country, in the western music.

Yeah, you know, it's fine. And in the fall of nineteen ninety three, bobbi makahs music world of magic yeah was actually sued by a patron who claimed that he was attacked by a ghost while in the club. I'm a little real lost.

Oh, you just wait. You just on tight. According to the suit, J. R. Costigan went to bobbi makers and quotation ked on the club during a myth, daring a mythical ghost that has become legend at the club to show itself.

He then claimed that he went into the men's bathroom and quote, a dark hair man appeared to him with a rope dangling around his neck and attacked him, punching him and kicking him, then dissolved into the air. This is a real lawsuit. I love IT here.

So in his suit, he was seeking a thousand dollars in damages for pain and suffering and demanded that a sign be posted in the club. Warning of spectral danger. Honestly, that sounds awesome.

A warning sign that says, like warning spectral danger well, i'm glad you like that because IT comes back awesome. But before that, bob Bobby's lawyer, w. Robert lots, filed one of the most unusual motions to dismiss, written in poetic verse yeah as follows.

Give me some bongos the plaintiff claims in his petition he was assaulted by an Operation injured by a ghostly nemesis on bobbi make's premises. I'm so obsessed. We're beard in brazil. He did blunder by taunting their supernatural wonder, proclaiming loudly his resistance to belief in spiritual existence.

Alas, this essence, dembois ed, followed the plaintiff to demands body where the dark cared hunt with neck and news soundly clicked IT soundly kicked complainant's drunk cobo s that's really you guys that's for real sees follow the plate to to dementia ty soundly kicked complaint and strong koo koos, i'm pretty obsessed to demands party this is my favorite ite paris reckless, this is my favorite story I also like but even though the tone was mocking, and you know, the format of the dismissal was a unusual yeah locks insisted he was taking the case very. He told reporters someone showed up and filed the suit. I was tired to treated as legitimate.

I'm convinced that my clients were not involved. There are not go. So that's fine. So they're not. Now ultimately, i'm sure you will be shocked to hear that this case was throwing out of court. The guy, just like the guy who filed the last suit, failed to show up for the hearing.

I think maybe he had other things going on that yeah, there was maybe an embarrassed that he filed the suit against the fucking invisible for he hydrated and was like, I know the guys should follow you on. He had a liquid I, V, but actually bobbi did agree to put a sign up behind the bar that reads and is still there, warning to our patrons. This establishment is reported to be haunted.

Management is not responsible and cannot be held liable for any actions of any ghost spirits on this premise. That amazing. I love the music. You know, fuck at I, i'll put up a son now. So by the late nineties, he seemed actually like a lot more accepting of the parent Normal activity surrounding the night club.

And in the years since the suit, bobbi maker's music world has been featured on a ton of television shows like hard copy her aldo, the jury spend show. I don't really know how IT into there. A hunting and occurred to fair and like other pods have covered the case.

Actually, IT was one of the first episodes I listen to you and that's why we drink when uncovered IT. I love that. And I was like, oh, when I was doing and I was like, why have I heard the story before? Then I was like, listened to their episode too, because it's fantastic and tons of articles have been written about IT. But today the clubs still Operates as uh out of its original location on linking pink. But customers, they can only expect to get a beer and hear some music on fridays and saturdays.

They can still catch bobbi magi in his best dam band that's what their called should play their regular set but only on the weekend because go the rest of the week is reserved for haunted tours yeah paraNormal investigations and even sleepovers haunted ones who's in i'm with the fact that bobbi mckie just leaned the fuck he spent at like twenty years essentially being like, no, no, no, no, no, no. No one was like for another thing about Bobby mckee is good ever, ever, ever. No, we can no longer works at the club, but he does continue to share his experiences of the huntings.

Janet continued managing the club. Actually, SHE did step foot there again until the early two thousands, but unfortunately he did pass away in february of two thousand nine after a long illness, and he died in the home of their daughter, the daughter that was born at six months. Yes, is that nuts? Full circle.

Now bobbi maintains that he has still never had to para Normal experience in the bar or anywhere else and thing he's sticks to his work. He's never going to have IT exchange. no. And he's never gona believe and goes. That still doesn't.

When IT comes to the club, he says, I don't know if the place got a hold of me, but if that's a supernatural experience, then so be at a, on a stay here. Bobby fucked in markey, a legend, a true legend. I don't really know much else about him other than his magic.

I literally have never even, I don't know a damn thing about him, except for this and johana. Now it'll stick in your head. Go us to do IT right, know, assessed with this story, a story with more twists and turns than anything that I could have ever expected.

And like, weirdly fun, there's so much fun huntings. The true tragedy is the perl brian story, which, like, I did not see that coming. No, like, that is a wild story.

Wild story. John and johana SHE exists. SHE does question existence. But yeah yeah the program one really shocked to me.

I mean, that's brutal and the fact that the killers, gop and all there, literally we're going to haunt this place of spook. But then I also like, has anyone opens that? Well, cool.

I just can think. I was just getting. but.

Why has anyone opened that? Well, like, no, but I like it's like, I wonder, I know you know, like i've see I looked up pictures of IT looks like a sealed off and i'm like someone opened that well, put something down there to long camera on on a string and and go tell me what's down there, right? I want in her because I want her.

I want her to also like maybe you could like reunite I know with her body. I know I give her, like I to prop her barrier. Yeah, like, I wanna be holy.

I update endings of perl that, like, you know, they deserve to have that done. I know I need to find this out. Let's find out.

Just figured that out. Wow, that was a wild tale. A wild tale.

And dave is a big fan of the story, so he did like a folking incredible job on the research. And and I love him. I love dive too, and I love him.

And we hope you keep listening, and we hope you keep. We keep in as well as Bobby mckee. I can see he seems great. Yeah, I don't really.
