Jones' career was propelled by the referrals from creature effects makeup people early on, who appreciated his ability to move well, not complain, and be easy to work with.
His first commercial was for Southwest Airlines as a dancing mummy.
Jones found del Toro to be a visionary artist and a funny, self-deprecating friend who understood actors deeply and directed them in personalized ways.
The most demanding part was performing in heavy prosthetics and costumes all day, dealing with extra heat and stickiness, and trying not to stick to chairs during breaks.
Jones wore prosthetics on his head, hands, and a hump built into his back, with a long double-breasted coat. The makeup was more wrinkled and elderly-looking, designed by Mike Elizalde.
Standing on the stage at the Academy Awards with the entire team of 'The Shape of Water' after winning Best Picture.
Jones doesn't get anxious or stir crazy; he can sit still for hours, entertained by listening to music, going over dialogue, or chatting with the makeup artists.
The makeup design was inspired by a lifecast Mike Elizalde made of Jones two decades ago, based on his vision of what Nosferatu might look like.
Jones was emotional about saying goodbye to the character of Baron Afanas, as the show was a joy to work on and he looked forward to going to work every day.
The most challenging aspect was performing in a digitally reproduced environment where every move had to match the original silent film, requiring precise coordination with the director and the technical team.

But that's not all this. All in one shake has fiber quality facts, fideles minerals, anti oxidation, and so much more. I love that I can take so many boxes with just one delicious shake.
If you know me, you know that vanilla and try are my favorite flavors, and I like to combine them. But they also have chocolate, they've got marcha, and they've got coconut asie am a big fan of the coconut sie as well. After drinking a rava first thing in the morning, because that's when I always drink IT, I feel sad for hours.

and i'm dug Jones.
and we have a very special episode of morbo ne today.
Wu, dr. Jones, and see a guy. We are dose we? I mean, dg Jones is an absolute icon, to be perfectly honest.
And also we can we can also save that he is the nicest monster in because percent, we have had to represser dule this spot twice because of just various sanctions that occurs. Nicest man ever. Like, truly, if I was going to happen with everyone, anyone, i'm glad to happen and dug. So thank you for being so patient with us.
go. And you mean.
I like you guys know we like you. So dug has breathe life into roles like the fun and the pale man and pants labor, and thus are to my favorites, like all time favorite. So good, the nfib, an men in the academy award winning film in the shape of water.
His resume includes the rules of Billy butcher son, iconic from hocus pocus bear and alphonse on what we do in the shadows, as well as the titular role in David lee Fisher's upcoming film knows for to a symphony of hora. And we are just so excited to have him on the pot today. So again, thank you so much for joining us.
Thank you going. I can't live up to that introduction. I think we're done here.
You already have .
you do .
every day.
Thank you. So you're like like we just said, your resume is mighty like one of the modest we have to ask, how are you able to do all that, to be all that, to personify all that and still keep your feet on the ground and truly be the nicest monster in hollywood?
Oh, well, thank you for thinking of me in that manner. I don't deserve IT I love you for that. You I know it's only my resume is is long not because i'm really that good, it's because of that all i've been around a while, you know um so I i've been I my career has happened because of the graciousness and kindness of the creature effects make up people honestly uh if IT wasn't for their referrals early on, uh that propelled me to the next project and the next one and the next one and never would have met the you know the wonderful rolodex of directors I have now worked with, including be ever great game though toral.
It's because of of those early days being, you know, when you come to hollywood, dan, in your tall, Candy, goofy, active boy, six, three hundred and thirty five pounds, any of them backwards of mine, you can also put your legs behind your head so you resume as contraction ist on that day. So that was like my my first commercial agents dream. It's like, okay, we can do so much what so yeah to the summit, me for all kinds of things that we're physical time fully and clowning and mining, of course.
Uh, and a lot of those rules came with that kind of breakdown. IT also came with a look that needed to be glued on to me. So, uh, those early commercial that I D A, the very first commercially ever did was for southwest airlines as a dancing mommy, right? How that work can do an airline, i'll never remember.
But but and the fair to drop low enough, I could finally come out of my story of a single on vacation, I think work, 嗯, 等等。 吃 肉片 to that, I book a commercial for A A world's of under toys for a doll commercial. And I was an alien landing and in the kids backyard, and I thought I was making first contact because the doll was left out and IT was a talking dog.
You push IT on the bell like that teackle. So so IT was like a funny little oh with first contact, but I was in that creature effects makeup designer that made those alien outfits for that commercial. Then also was doing that the the moon head for the mac tonight campaign from mcDonald.
I remember so vividly.
right? But IT set to the theme song, uh, taken from mac the knife but but rebranded from MaaS mac tonight it's making that, hey, yeah. So I ended up booking that job as the question. Moon had died under this huge heavy mask also created by Steve nie. So I was already getting a taste of, uh, the creature effects world is tight and almost incestuous and you know uh they like the very loyal, so if they like working with you so the reputation got around town that i'm tall, move well and don't complain. A lot of stuff .
lovely to work with.
So I guess that's the reputation that got around the creature effects. So so the referral en in snowball from there and here we are thirty eight years later uh and and with the a resume that I never for saw I I never never thought like I one of the monsters I I really wanted to be a sitcom star when I started. I want to be like a goofy next door neighbor that comes like like on the dig mand dig show love this or being cramer on the on on the sign field, the guy who comes in does something funny and leaves, you know, that I very low association for itself.
You surprised.
very. So getting swept up by the creature effects world was a surprise to me, but a happy one that turned IT has turned into a career that that has been very, very good to me.
And and you and you know you when you mentioned your like the likes of gear model row, when you are standing on the stage at the academy awards 啊, because a movie you are in called the shape of water just one best picture, and you're there with the entire team accepting the word for best picture. Uh, big and a is a academy best picture with a monster on the cover. This doesn't happen. You happen to be the guy who played that monster. It's surreal moment.
You can magine. I was gonna a say, how does your brain wrap around that? Like just being on the academy wards stage must be like you're .
looking you're looking out to sea of the most famous faces you've ever seen in your and they're looking back at you with adoration in their eyes. It's like this, this moment doesn't happen. It's just anybody.
I dos, you know, a pinch me moment .
for I believe .
the should have duct me now this isn't.
Have a good time to die happy.
It's truly like i'm good and it's funny that you brought up the mac tonight character yeah one I vividly remember those those commercials so that's so funny. But also our reach searcher for morbid ah our friend dave, his father jim boy actually directed a lot of those commercials so we had like this weird one .
degree of separation.
This isn't that weird .
yeah so awesome. yes.
And I remember us talking about this like a long time ago when he brought up like my dad directed those things were like, oh my god, I I used to love those commercials. And then we found that you marked where.
like, if you can get a mess back to him, that I love him to really do the day course.
we definitely will.
I love that.
Thank you. And we spoke about gar model oro. And I have to ask, because i'm a huge gar model turo fan.
I think he is so brilliant and he seems like just one of, he's one of those people that he seems like one of the sweetest kindness st just like genuine person. What is he? Is he that person? Yes, yes, he would.
They say, don't meet your heroes, but he is one you would absolutely love to meet course, he will live up to all of you, all of your dreams and explorations of who is I can you can imagine how often I get asked what's IT like to work with him as tory? You get to because you're, you're not alone in in that love for him. I hear, I hear such love for him everywhere I go.
And when you work with him, you are, you are doing two things. You are under the two village of the one of the most visionary, brilliant artists in the world ever. You're also hanging out with like a funny friend who is the self are facing hilarious ous and says, I as can be so he's I love oh no he's got .
the best sense of .
humor uh and in that he is a director that understands his actors Better than any director Normally does he uh he directs all of us on the same project in different ways depending on our personal audience will respond to because he's already just all that out that he's brilliant with with the human spirit and the and psychology and all of IT.
So with with the set of buttons on us, he now knows what to push to get what reaction out of us on the day he'll be from the help round. Roman sum blair and dog Jones, very different personalities. So we all got different types of direction from him.
That's like, brilliant.
Now with me, it's very simple. He knows that we can make me laugh. I'll do whatever IT whether he says.
So one of my favorite examples was from her boy to the golden army. And there was one long tracking shot that he wasn't going to cut, await anything. He had no coverage to cut.
Wait is. So I had to, I had to do A A lot of physical business. Uh, well, this one camera circled me and I had to be done with the business by the time the cameras stopped.
Well, I wasn't. And the first take of this, it's like I was going slow, methodical, like milking these moments visually. And by the time the camera stopped to stayed there for a while, and I wasn't done yet, finally, game with a toy, he finally, he yells, cut doggy.
You're boarding me to tears, right? And that's all we had to say. I got .
got to go to interaction.
heart to work. And yeah, yeah, I just, I love him dearly. We had to have a short hand like that.
Uh, I love that. That makes me so happy because the truly is one of those things that you hear that all the time to be heroes. I like not care about. You can meet .
you hear more.
I love you, but so one of the big things that's happening right now is that we are in the final season of what we do in the shadow. Yes.
which yeah .
IT starts on the twenty first. And you obviously play barn alphonse, amazing character.
so good you are like.
what is IT has been emotional to say goodby e of that character in the show yes by the way.
the Better loves very much too playing barn athens has been the joy of my life um you know after the thirty eight year career that beside behind me with more more coming ahead, of course but looking back, it's like I I have i'd look forward to going to work a very handful of times over all of the jobs that i've done because I know that a lot of them were very physically taxing and I know what's ahead of me and i'm gonna to go through the process and the thing and the thing or I have tons of like science fiction dialogue that I have to load out in the monogue with technology talk in IT and, uh, I love them.
But at the time shadow h my gosh, I look forward to I can't wait to get you know, uh, because when you're doing something that's all for the funny and you were taking vampire troops and sending them up and like, you know, I just like mocking all of IT in this age of comedy that we're in now, everyone's being so careful to not offend. Well, our show does nothing. But if everybody you know, and that makes a great, and this got an old .
school vibe to love an equal opportunity offender.
actually fun of everybody. And we're all taking .
part of that.
Nobody y's left down. Nobody can be offended together.
Exactly right.

And what the what the barn has also afforded me was, you know when I i've also had a love of vampire, you've always intrigued and i've wanted to play ah you know A A classic vampire. E uh, so years ago, if you'd ask me, what's my dream? But what we're gonna k about next week for our right, the dark mystery of him and the the the horrific look of him.
yes. Well, when I was offered the role is barn athas. And what we do in the shadows, he kind of was a parity of not far away, his the vamp that comes from the old world. He he sent all of his millions out to north amErica to conquer the new world. And they never made IT out a stand nyland so he can stay there with them now only whatever. Right now I just um I I love the the that now that I done the nose for out to a simply horror movie and what we do in the shadows, I had both the light and the dark of this of this type of vampire character .
and that my favorite part is that you've touched both sides of aspect. There are not a vampy skill.
It's so perfectly.
Oh good.
it's so good.
And speaking of like just I was just thinking about like how you were saying, like some days you would be like, oh good, how I have to go in and like, you know, i'd have to expand all the style oxe, that's crazy. Here I have to go in the makeup chair. How do you do anything specific? Because I know you probably have to set the makeup chair for a lot of these rules very long time. Do you have to do anything specific to, like, get yourself in A I able to be able to do that?
Well, here's the weird thing about me is what I don't need to do anything specific. Unlike most people, I don't get anxious, don't get still crazy. I can sit still instead for hours and be completely entertained.
What is that like?
I know. So because that's the number one question I get from people is like I would go crazy. I just it's still for that long and it's like, no, that's the easy part of my day. The making parties are doing all the work during that time and I get to just can sit there in a go for my dialogue at how you need to and we listen to music, we tell jokes or whatever, right? It's a great time a day. Um it's but it's when now now that it's on and you you have extra heat wait stickiness to your person and you have to perform in IT all day and keep your energy up while wearing extra layers of stuff and um and trying to not not stick to your chair when you when you're taking a break or whatever IT is right um that's that's the the long part of the day for me I can imagine yeah .
because I that would destroy me. I'm so heat sensitive but I feel as soon as I started writing i'd really get IT all yes.
I know I delinquent tween suits and makeup PS, uh, a monster suit will be something that you slip and sip up the back, right? And IT might involve a head that that got slips over your heads, snap down to the neck. And then you there's mechanics that are propety red in the face, right? That's a suit make up would be either glued or painted onto my real person.
So when you're in a suit, there's nothing quite like that feeling. Now that goes on much faster year, but maybe thirty minutes into the whole thing and you you're ready to perform. But once it's on IT is are usually very heavy and yeah very hot. And what you feel that trickle of sweat going down the back of your neck and you can't get to IT, you feel that truck libs sweat coming down the side of your face is not gonna IT my eye, I don't know, is gna go up. It's on the cheek where .
things yeah.
because salty sweat night, you don't want to do that. What you're on camera, not great .
or not ideal.
I give you that I think the .
happiness thing i've ever warned is my wedding dress and he had not at the end of the night I was like, get this. Yes.
you people who do just wear wigs on camera, it's H. S, and they know them totally .
wearing a week for halloween. Like, what did I choose to do this?
Awful.
the end of thing and off and said the end of I like, well, going back to our love of vampire, we are love and our love. We are so excited. Like, completely stopped for the premier of David Fishers, not for auto, a symphony of horror that is premiering on october eighteenth on apple TV plus everybody go check IT out.
But this is a very different approach to remaking a classic film. It's shot and black and White. It's so haunting ly beautiful. We got to get a little sneak peek. Thank you for the screener.
IT is delicious looking at beautiful.
So can you tell us a little bit, do you know anything about like how they really created the film?
Yeah, yeah. Thank you for setting that absolutely beautiful, by the way, because it's a very confusing time for the title knows for auto because there is another one right on our tail come about Christmas directed by the the wonderful Robert eggs and starting the brilliant bill scars guard in the same airline plane. Now he might be Younger, hot r and more famous. I think we can have both.
can't we?
Absolutely no good.
And i'm gonna ch theirs with everybody, but I am walking on my own. And the r though what makes us a little bit different, as I seem for seen the same movie as the silent film that made IT a classic in the first place. So, uh, I got to get into not only max sex role, but I also was, in his environment, digitally reproduced from the original al film.
David Fisher, our director, is a technical wizard who made this all magic captain. So IT might be something as much as me when I was out, let's say, when no throat was outside, walking around with his coffin under one ARM, that would be a complete hundred percent Green screens set with Marks on the floor to match exactly where I needed to turn, stop, walk up, steps, whatever right that we would match them. And I with the latest uh uh frame from the old movie, then the least amount Green screen news might be, uh, elan's bedroom when I finally get into her and finally reno reaching the the, the the pinnacle, the object of my desire she's she's the the dessert of all the meals I over my amp.
here. Her bedroom scene was walls built, furniture in the room. And the window though, was Green behind this so that they can click the original movie window behind that that is, there is a Green, Green element to every scene of the movie yeah and so that does bring old and new together with a very ethereal kind of dream feel to IT right uh but also and that's why we found our in black and White so that we could batch the old movie more seamlessly and um and also with a dialogue and sound that slashes out that silent film story IT is seen foreseen the same story but now with dialogue you get to hear more of IT yeah .
right right now and .
I really does have that affect al quality to IT it's almost like I don't even know if this is the right he feels like gossip yeah like IT it's .
it's like pretty very you know like I don't .
know why I just feels gazi .
she's the novels st to make sense .
yeah it's perfectly well .
well you mentioned before that you this is a role you hope do you would play someday so how was IT playing this role? Is IT completely surreal?
Yes, yes, yes. He had been my bucket with character for many years uh, and I think I also had A A love and fascination of vampyres. Anyway, of course I love little logos as dracula, and of course all the other jacket las over the years that have been played by various at wonderful actors. But there there there's a certain sexiness about dracula that I thought, I don't know the dog Jones .
can pulled out off and and to bless you.
bless you for but then there's also the the teenager Sparkly ones from that other franchise. I like I never have fit that demographic OK right. So but the buck tooth point eard gradually one, yes, him I get, yeah yeah. That's why not try to. But what I also love about his hilarious look is that he's probably not aware that he looks at bad now.
Uh, he was his account, right? So he was his of nobility and his Younger day when he was a human, he probably was quite fetching, you know, right? And he right, and he probably was respected by the community and all, who knows what story got him, what decisions he made, what what position he put himself to become a empire.
And now decades, you know, million centuries later, who knows how all the is uh, he is living with his choice, right? yeah. And is he is he ever satisfied that? Is this a satisfying a lifestyle for him? So that's why what I loved about him, his was his yearning for Allan, uh, the the character that that I master in the room.
By the way, elland was played by Sarah Carter sicker. And I start together as serious regulars on falling skies with about ten years ago. It's because of that relationship that I said, hey there, would you be a dear? She's like, oh, my god. And I love this .
so that's how we got into .
the movie. He is like.
my god dict that .
that about angle. I know I I I and so her husband in the movie, Young Thomas, was played by mr. Coopers. Ah he's a series regular on the coronation street now that it's A A very british he's from great britain so that his accident was legit so he's sent on this journey by his real estate boss who goes crazy by the his real state bosses was of a character knock played by an act named egal poll.
Should I know that? yeah. no. What's from? yeah. But so knock sends Young Thomas on this journey to fetch me in transylvania, because I am interested in buying a piece of property in their hometown right across the street from them because something about me, you know, Allen has been calling to me from a far, and I haven't relieved, you know, known who he is yet or what he is. But I know that I I need her. He comes to me to sign paperwork for this real estate deal. And while he's with me, he's getting creamed out by all that I am I looked like and I love those scenes when we know we're the dinner table and he's eating food and i'm not and and I just kind of staring at me.
you know, I love that so ad.
so fun, right?
There are so much dialogue happening in those quiet, silent moments where he's very uncomfortable .
and i'm very comfortable exactly.
And one of my favor moments too was am about to sign the paperwork and I paused for minute and say, uh, uh, do you have the time? And he hands in his pocket watch in which was a photograph of Allen, his wife. And that was like, down, down, that was the moment that counter, or like, realizes that the object of my desire.
That's who i've been dreaming up. That's who i've been wanting all this time. So heat rushes in science, the paperwork and on the down deal.
So what I love to about this, the story is, once he gets to the town and takes residency across the street from alan Thomas, he doesn't go right for her right away. He peers at her through the window like a cream and a and he, other people in town are dying all around them. They think there's an epidemic of virus wiping out the city. So he saves her for dessert, right? H and by the time he gets to her, uh, this is, this is the ultimate, this is, what are the moment his, his whole life is a amplius been leading to this moment.
which is magnetic.
S, I know the David Fisher left the camera on me for a long time. What I am on her neck? Yes, it's very central and very disgusting all at the same time.
Very tilly, horrific.
beautiful, the hero, great way, say so when then when he comes to and realizes that the sun is is up and he is coming through the window, he's like he kind of overdid IT. He over over indulged in his a addiction.
I think that when he had his come to to light moment, I I wanted to add some humanity into him because watching the silent film, of course, it's very dramatic and know and max track struck that pose when he got t in front of the window with A A hand on the heart and a hand the window, not the sound, right? So I wanted to strike that that iconic post, as I tried to strike a lot of his iconic poses throughout the film, but give some some backstory, meaning and some hearted soul of why he got into that pose. I love that.

No, thank you. Thank you so much. A very, very sweet, beautiful and wonderful intimidating to play this role too because there's no way to not compare me to max track and also to all the other notes for objects, including willing, brilliant shade of empire version and of course, bills.
Guard, guard coming. I'm sure he's gonna delicious. And whatever he does.
what IT definitely. Yeah, I could see why that would be an intimidating world to .
take on for short. I love that you put like your own like spin on IT though, and that you put your own like feelings into those posses and everything, because I really does straight.
You left to your life on for.
thank you so so much. Yeah I I I was so happy that our director too was on board with like making sure we hit all those, all those those iconic notes like when the when he's in the balls of the ship in transit and and the captain comes down and sees him like standing up from his company, step is aboard right? So good right that that took some engineering, by the way and and then also the the that famous shadow going up the stairs on his way to Ellen's bedrooms, so spoke right yeah yeah and then of course, like I said, that the grabbing of the heart and the hand out of the sun when it's time.
classic.
And like, yeah, it's awesome.
Back to the look. You should like that. He looks like, yes, what was the costuming like? Like was a very heavy on prosthetics.
How was that for you? Get a good question. This was, uh, as far as prosthetics go again, I ve played creatures that are rubbed zed from head to to.
This was not that this was head hand then, Kevin. So with a very specific wardrobe to match the original order. And there was a bit of a bit of a hump built into the back because he was hunt over in original film.
They we didn't I I think I probably say stand a little stricter than max tracked, but they still did have some some extra built built into that hump area of the back OK with this long double breasted code. And that was gorgeous. And the procedures, so were I.
I wore more pathetical than than the other noth atto have. IT played a more, including maxi c was very smooth. IT was basically his face with a ball cap and you know some ears and some funny and swap of hair, please just so, uh, I was more wrinkled than an elderly looking yeah which was a design uh, choice.
Uh, and here's the fun, the fun backstory of that. Look, Michael is all day very talented artists who owns the creature shop spectral motion, but did the hellboy movies with me and the silver surfer movie with me. He, as a, as a garage project at home, started scoping indoors for our two decades ago on a lifecare of me, my bus.
哦, wow, clay to me and started sculling what he thought no too might look like in his dreams. And he came up with that once. Once I was done, they had prostatic pieces made of IT.
And just as a test fund make up test one day, he called up. And so would you ever want to put this on this for a saturday afternoon fund photo shoot? I said.
many fast. Yeah.
right. So we went and did that. This is ten years before .
this movie came up.
So to win. David Fisher, uh, who had worked with before on a movie much like this, we did, uh, we did reimagining, uh, A A remix of the cabinet of doctor called gary, that nineteen nineteen silent film that we made into the same thing, old movie, new movie, put together with dialogue, sound, musical scores. Uh, so David Fisher calls me, I play, says, hey, if you don't want to do this, I want to do that. But but I have this idea.
Would you want to ever do? No thought to like we did, called gary. And I was like, you have been reading my dreams.
Yes, right. So so and I said in that same phone call, oh my gosh, I know exactly what make up I wanted. We are doing this too, to look back to micelles. And his design is what the moment art and been plant put on me on the day take about four hours a day. And those four hours also included appliances on the back of my hands to make them more bony vi, and also to add those delicious .
the great.
I don't talk about the press .
on nails that is so cool. I was like you were manifesting this ten years in advance. That's a man .
that is that wk.
do do I not love? You see.
I was meant to be. Yeah.
that's crazy. He really was. So speaking of all these vampire things, because vampire s are so much fun and its spooky. And no, for to a simponi of horrors coming. Like, why not talk about a funny, stinky empire legend really quick?
We OK. I want to hear this. I've got a stinking .
vampire for.
okay.
this case of vipers, and brings us all the way back to punch soliz. A, the section of poland IT was the yield days of fifteen and eighty two.
And who is yield this yield? Ld.
you honest, conscious, was out with one of his horses. They were all trying to repair the horse's issue. That was him in a couple assistance. Now something went wrong where the horse scot upset and actually ended up kicking conscious, knocking him unconscious. Also, I swear name and .
I wearing right now.
So unluckily, like I said, he wasn't working out there alone. So they picked him up. They brought him inside, laid him down in bed. He slipped in and out of consciousness in the following days. But in the moments where he was with IT awake, some dark ark secrets started to come out of conscious, was very, very worried about dying because the life, he said, was really the tourist. He was a well respected aldermen of the small community, but he admitted, while laying on his death bed, that his life had been full of various since some even claimed that he admitted to making a deal with the devil.
That's a big one.
That's a huge, a big one that'll .
send you straight to. So the story goes that the deal was made around the same time. That conscious is Young son. Young son, excuse me, disappeared and many believe that he actually sold his son to the devil for money, which right after his son disappeared, he fell into a great sum of that's .
that's the biggest thing you could do, I feel, selling your son to the devil.
That's that's damming evidence to very .
damming evidence. The timing is suspect. The literal receipts are there and that's of .
all money has exchanged them .
exactly hands close, whatever I so while he lay dying in his bed, he would call IT well with me, how do I burn them and them all on fire and he would repeat over and over again that his sins were, quote, bigger than all of the world besides.
And we all look, yeah, when and everyone said said yes.
they said you saw her to the double gun would .
expect yeah .
that tracks so that the night that conscious actually did die, he did eventually come, do you know, to the great .
unconscious?
What is great?
yeah.
Thank you for that. No prom. So the night that he did die, his son, his older son, that didn't get through to the devil, sitting in the room with him and later said that a black cats linked into the room, jumped upon conscious is chest and started scratching at his face feverishly, almost like the cat was trying to erase him from this world, the sun said. And this was right before he died, he said he wasn't completely dead yet. He, his sun said that as the cat suddenly disappeared from the room, conscious, breathe out his last breath to me.
he did a raise him from the world.
He did the cat at my job is just.
you can liked this pause and left the room right?
Yeah he said.
you're well, he so the moment that conscious did die, a great storm was said to have started. And IT raged on all his funeral, Henry Moore wrote, no sooner conscious was dead, but a great temps sterols, which raged most at his very funeral. There are being such impetus, storms of wind and snow, that IT made men's bodies quake their teeth, chatter in their heads. But soon as he was entered, all of a sudden IT was calm.
Dam is not beautiful, but okay, yes, yeah.
So there were actually a lot of moving pieces of surrounding. Conscious is burial. His friends and family all felt, you know, they're heard of a sense, but they said, maybe he was just, you know, unconscious, they would talk and crazy.
They said, I really think he's a great man and he deserves to laid to rest in a hollowed place. So they all got together and pulled their money to make sure that he was buried to the right of the churches. Alter, which I guess in yield days was .
the best place to sort like .
rocks started parking. Apparently very shortly after he was put to rest there, so spats of blood started showing up on the church's cloth, which was right above where his grave was. That so metal and listen to this, people are on tow, started claiming that they were seeing consort cious room, the streets, oh, that would be, you know, well, in fine, like, cool, be a ghost to be a spector.
But conscious wasn't just a spector. He was a menace to the town in a straight up criminal, according to a cult world dot com, when country started roaming the streets again, he was going on wild. His vector quote, strangled old men, globed around the house like a horse, rustled with people.
This is my personal favorite. Vomit fire. Like we said, that is my thing. That's medicine. There's more, though, like we said, is alter clock with a lood.
This is a horrible, washed the heads of dogs against the ground straight to you, straight le. Turned milk into blood, drink up supplies of milk, sucked cows dry through goats about, devoured chickens and pulled up fence posts. Just a few of the activities that .
he was three .
goats about and also pulled up friends post.
like he was like your friend while Robin fire, yeah.
yeah. wow. That was his own personal workout.
yeah. Code s too great. So he was getting all of that.
You know, some of that was like, not so grey. Most event you were just like OK countries, you're going crazy. This is where good.
stark. He was also getting very frisky and inappropriate with the women in town. So like, so conscious. Ly, surely, surely. After his death, he was said to have returned to his own home, which neighbors had seen physically shaking in the days leading up to this incident, and he supposedly just walked right into his wife bedroom and demanded that SHE move over so he could get into bed with her.
Wo now.
obviously that would be horrifying enough. But to add insult to injury, this spector conscious had the most fall breath that this woman had ever smelled in her life.
This poor woman.
poor dear, I dear losers.
are husband, and he comes back all stanko .
want to go in the end.
loser husband who sold their son to the devil.
the devil he is to work out.
And then he's like, move over. I would like, no.
he wrote a horse therapies first thing in the morning and said he set down. So now he wasn't the older woman whose bad that conscious was trying .
to get into you.
Yeah, many women in town were reporting, seeing his spector, appearing to them, touching them without permission and standing up the surrounding areas. He would stink. He was very smelly.
Did you know that every year over one million americans are diagnosed with diabetes? That's why I got our access here to help with twenty popular diabetes medications for less than twenty dollars. Good arx is free and easy to use.

Check good R X. Go to good R X to calm flash, morbid, but it's good R, X, stop comm, flash, morbid.
Now this went on for months and months. People were seeing, and unfortunately, smelling conscious everywhere he appear to old friends, old enemies. His spector was returning to his house and scaring the ship out of the server on.
People were also seeing flashes of lights at all hours of the night coming from the house. And people saw on horse back few times, if you know, he goes for a ride every now and evening strong? no.
yeah. So obviously something hard to be done about this. And I right. Yeah.
yeah. But what were .
the towns .
people to do? How do you stop a dead man?
no. Well.
they started by going to his grave. And when they got there, they saw all these little holes in the ground. So they set up that must be IT.
You know, he's like losing out of fear, obviously. So they said, will fill these up and maybe that i'll put an end of things. IT did not, and the little holes just kept reappearing.
So after going back to the drawing board, they decided something more had to be done here. They had to assume his body and check that out, so they set out to do just that. And when his coffin was opened up, somehow, after six months of being dead as a door nail, country's body was perfectly .
preserved.
IT did .
think definitely .
had distinct.
had distinct finites. It's even said that they handed him a staff and he was able to reach out and grab in. So they were like, this rocked their world's even more.
They said, what are we to do here? So they went, they actually went to a judge and had asked him what they should do. And he said the best thing that they could possibly do was burn consciously body. So they said, okay, right.
let's a amp. Er.
he's a vampires that they said, you're working with a vamp. Er, here he got a break. yeah. So they tried to, they tried to light him a blaze, but his body wouldn't stay. Little country said, no.
it's like awful birthday .
candle.
They got the idea .
from conscious, you know you if you .
look at the back and actually has .
this legend on the little and just in that that they say, well, we got to do something about this. So they ended up cutting him into smaller pieces. And when they made the first cut, they said, blood spilled from him like I was still flowing freely throughout his body.
S of after .
six months of death. But luckily they ended up being able to fully burn the body once I was cut into smaller pieces, and nobody ever saw or smelled conscious again.
Wow.
what a crazy tale .
was quite a tale. And I, so I have to. So, so was this, are these true accounts? Are these? Is this fictitious? What where the story come from? Polish folklore at all?
Yes, it's polish folklore and it's based off of Henry morse version of events ve of this tale. But he wrote, and IT was basically, uh, something he was writing against atheism. wow. Oh.
okay, okay. Interesting .
science. He said, he said.
I let me that there is, actually, you can read a allocate in the shower notes. You can read this tail in much greater detail, because Henry Moore told us a lot about conscious.
really. Okay, so that you gave us the a bridge version. This is the a bridge version.
I didn't want to keep you here. I know you have other rules .
to get too ducking. I want to play conscious.
Now I could say .
your next right here, i'll send you the link to the the detailed version and you find somebody to make that movie.
I made fifteen hundred something.
Yeah yes, just start practicing throwing .
goats about.
involving and .
taking fences up by the .
pig and great.
you know, milking cows and .
turning them the blood yeah yeah.
Maybe skip that part. But you know.
throwing goats about is fine. It's lying. You're not hurting them.
Take on their hobs.
So yeah just holding their hobs .
and running around with them yeah, that's the tale of conscious ous man.
I thank you for that. That was that was a story I ve never been before.
I'm so glad to tell john that Jones, the story he's never heard .
a great hour, a about of empire.
of empire.
Well, we wouldn't .
unconscious, which would seem appropriate. But we do have one little thing that we would love to end done. We love to do a little short game with guess a lot, because these, these tend to be fun to hear.
And so so we would like to know who, out of these three characters that i'm gonna st, would be most likely to do these certain things. I'm gonna okay. So who, out of Billy butcher son, bear an alpha and knows for our two would have compete which one would have won the hunger games?
Okay, okay, I will not, Billy, I don't think powers till last .
very long in the mouth bean .
athas and not for a i'm gna say I going to be the bearing. The bear will have last a longer for the hungry games because he tends to show like a supernal al powers. More often he flies, he, he exams things with his hands. He, he, he, he could take him.
He take all. I think. I think so too. This charming is the alliance thing really?
Well, yes, he.
That's the perfect is so.
yeah, so the next one is out of those three characters who would take over the world successfully if given the chance.
Poor people I want to to .
leave out of again in sis might win the next one.
Yeah, yeah he really win the next one .
OK okay so uh why not we i'm gna say probably let's go is not frame to on this one because I think that count or lock um his sonali and his sneaking around the back door kind of personality might be what gets him to take over things with no one knowing about IT where is the bearing is very out there and very presentation and yeah right yeah he he does that with a flourish so you see IT coming and he would be stopped before but the count will be more shifty about IT yes.
point, good point. I agree with that.
I love to can put yes.
I was a good one in the last one i'm thinking about IT. IT might not be illic, but possibly okay. Who would have the biggest .
tiktok following?
Well, no, honestly in the body would love to .
be the most famous of all of them because he's very such a narthex. But I think Billy would win because I seen that. You didn't know that you never saw A A moment you never saw from focus, focus, one that we did film that was cut from the film uh was if you remember the the costume dance party yeah where bit bit Miller gets the which stage and you I L.
L, I I can't .
all right, I will be my character. Billy butson was in that scene and I I broken to, and I fit into the costing party. Nobody really noticed me because everybody was done up as something.
And so all look the find zai, right? So I am rome about the crowd looking for the kids and trying to, you know, do my deed and once, but other things petish elon, you and then the whole crowd kids gets in a trance and starts dance, dance, dancing until the spell was broken. Um um I I not under the spell, but I thought I was kind of fun for me.
So there was a scene where you can, the action continues outside the dance party, uh, but they they come back to the dance party, show everybody still dancing a couple of times. One of those, one of those coming back to the party was going to be Billy hoping up on the stage and dancing once he had an audience here. And I tell you something I threw my legs about in such time, full ery. I, I, I don't stop and down on the floor.
I oh my g.
So that was a rating tiktok video before tiktok existed. okay. So I think Billy would have the dance videos that could end all all dance videos if he had a tiktok.
wow. I think that footage needs to be a ley talk.
H, I love .
knowing that. Thank you. You think .
about them up so you get forever. You, so .
much, but we do me too.
You.
so they give so much for coming on today. We love sitting with you. You are always welcome. You are one of our most favorite, most treasured guests. And plug, plug, plug, whatever you have now upcoming, feel free to shout out from the rooftops here.

Uh, two brothers on a road trip across the country and when they get to their destination and this they find themselves in the build of conspiracy with an earth takeover by aliens. And I might happen to be the alien trying to pass as a human who's a the leader of all. Yes.
I may say I then yes.
So Operation tackle area is going to be playing at the Austin film festival october twenty fifth.
You have like an october.
It's quite a month and and next week i'm actually going to, uh to north CarOlina iner the film in the of blue ridge, which is a this is a turning of the page for me. I'm gona play a guy who lives in the mountains and a and what happens with me, uh is yet to be IT to be discovered but uh h that's a show that it's LED by one check. If remember him from, he was the head lead singer of the wonders. And that thing you do, and he was also, he was also the Young hot in the movie was called .
american quilt.
He also played hudna in A T, V movie of hudna, which he was brilliant as as that character. Uh, and he also played jona hacks in in dc. Gosh, which which D C show was that? Oh, so .
yeah.
I know, I know. Right, right. Don't anyway thought I all my scenes with him, and I can't wait to to play that out. That's this coming way. I'm going to be filming that so that we can out of inspiration channel and the cowboy way I think when it's when their .
