uh were gonna believing soon for charlicarx after party my name of unity i i first forget that one whats its unity you you didnget invited we all bench peers plus for but before we go we get a talk about uh jd vances big speech in the rest of the highlights from night three of the rnc we also find out today that the dnc blink in the stand off over weatherto brush a virtual role call vote to officially nominate Joe Biden who was supposed to be campaign in the vada today until he tested positive for covid uh poor guy cant catch a single break also all kinds reporting about policy schumer theyre all to theyll show numbad poles theyll show em bad poles all the yeah so well say were gonna talk about that later but first, we just watched a jd vances speech here in a hotel room together, which is now how we watch all pa little performances welike to forget yeah, so we do we go to tell watchera is now the second world time ive had a hotel with you boys and i want to check with the worst so theres all the violin speech subbusiness features about 45 分钟 theres like an hour yeah felt like an hour felt longer there was some there was a lot of uh his bio there was a lot of economic populism there was a lot of Trump worship um but not necessarily in that order not really in any order um but we do have some highlights the the first one is he started off the speech talking about Trump and the assassination attempt on Donald Trump and what all Americans take to go and watch the video of a would be assassin coming a quarter of an inch from taking his life consider the lies they told you about Donald Trump and then look at that photo of him define Vistin the air when Donald Trump rose his feet and at Pencelevania field all of America stood with him, i just wanted to play that one because it really made me mad that he is still we talks yesterday about his tweet after the assassination attempt we basically blame Joe buttons right direct for the assassination attempt this was thinkabout all the lies they told about Trump and now think about him putting his fist in the air after the assassins bullet like he and other speakers have done this uh theres theres been a lot of they try to kill him this week they when you know were finding out more about the the shooter the fbi found his phone in the phone he was searching for Biden events Trump events date of the dnc date of Trump relies its its seem other officials other officials its meric Garland does seem so far like this is a kid who like hated Politicians and was clearly disturbed and yet this whole are Republican convention and then again with jd events there is this they want to connect it somehow to Trump that just really piss me off i know you guys but he said he his whole line jedis line was Trump called for national Unity right after an assassin try to take his life and OK sure but you pointed the finger right and you were saying things on Twitter that were essentially insightmen saying that Joe Biden cerederek is the reason Donald Trump got shot with no information no evidence just because i dont assume probably because youre right wing hack and you desperately wanted to get named device presidential nominy and you knew that kind of outregished attack dog shit would get you noticed by the Trump team yeah well so then after he did his uh, it a couple men as a Trump worship at the top and then he finally got to his bio and sort of his message of you know hes trying out this sort of the mag of version of economic populism uh lets listen we need a leader whos not in the pocket of big business。

but answers to the workingman union and not union alike a leader who wont sell out to multinational corporations, but will stand up for American companies an American industry the people who governed this country have failed and failed again were working class boy born far from the halls of power can stand on this stage as the next vice president of the United States of America。

alright so uh love it what you think of the speech so i think a sign of a bad speech is your not shorts over tilly just stop stocking yeah that i really had absolutely because it was it was couple different ings couple different endings it it really circles back he, he hits the bio a lot in the speech but not the way that particularly effective because the speech was so poorly structured it starts with a whole section of just you know pledging filty to Trump in all that is good about Trump then he gets into his bia with which was i think probably the strongest part of the speech, which is walking through his bio, while talking about all the different policy positions Biden is taken that that he views is being wrong yeah!

he did this riff where he said you know what i was in fourth grade, Biden supported naft and after you know a lot of jobs left uh around from and all across the Midwest when i was in high school buying gave China sweet hard trade deal when i was voted for when i was in college, the he supported the world were in a rock you know something there was jobs send overseas kids en overseas to die and then he said you know basically that bind was wrong on all these issues Trump was right on all these issues even back then right so i think that was like if that if you were to take one section of the speech i feel like that was like probably the part that i i thought was them。

the strongest and i bet what will hear on the stump to it felt like the started with some speech but the promise was in the middle of of meandering and hard to file speech with a lot of lot of lines, a lot of rederic, a lot of longpaths for of plays that i felt like didnt really land like none of it really land landed that hard even the bio i felt like this is he has an incredibly compelling stories on the ticket because of that story you would think you would start with that story and use it to kind of frame the entire speech but it felt really cobbled together uh which was relief was my feeling about it was strategic idiacy the speech was it was terrible this is the no one knows you know jd events i know it a best song in book but not that many people read it you know yeah to know about that a little casters yes!

exactly he had he had a movie was made of his law of his book almost no one watched it and this is one chance theyprobably be about twelve to fifteen million people watching this tonight youll be seen the clips will be seen more people you chance you stand up there and introduce yourself to the nation right the vp dont isnt matter that much but is gonna matter more in a campaign where the candidis seventy, eight years old and so this was his chance to do it he failed miserably at what should have been absolutely up he the only reason is on the stage is he has a compelling personal story and tells it well and he did not do that his story is mixed up into a bunch of different places theres no who here and so and you have to credential yourself with your story before you make all the attacks like i think the job at the high school middle school job in thing is a its a clever way to get it Joe biansage and separate him from working class voters but you have to tell your story first, but he was confused because he were so enamered with the fourth grade high school college line that they made it the stories have told the actual story it to it was terrible it was i and i am shocked it was so terrible yeah we were a dinner before this and i was like this is gonna be a great speech yeah!

we were all very worried about the speech yeah, we should have bit easy the easiest thing theyre all from to do cause hes delivery was fine some people have a good story but they cant tell it his delivery was totally fine it was the speech it was fine is he he gave a yeah he sounded i i wrote this notedown he he wrote a book hebeen on the bookcircuit tore hes been on the ps probably has speakers bureau before using karg as did the speaking tour he sounds like someone whos just been talking to like too many crowds of ceos other people random organizations about his book like he didnt actually have the cadence that you need in a conventional hall he didnt yourspo and like he was waiting for the apples were the apples kills me the the it never built they dont build anything because they just let the apples die down and then start up again like when Obama delivers。

his version of this features obviously famously far better hes like rising through these moments and and like building to something that was a big point in speech rabin two thousand four was you have to ride the applause dont stop talk over at because it you know it might sound loud in the hall but at home they will be able to hear you this time it was it was the reverse you almost couldnt hear the applause at home but jd was pausing and sort of awkwardly waving everybody and it just didnwork and yeah the the bios to be your your anker that explain to your informs, your belief and gives you credibility just didnt do it theyre also just like it jumped all over the place there was a point where he did this very corny thing were talked about us three kids back home and if youre watching, daddy says put your buds in bed and then he immediately did a hard pivot to fetonall over doses i guess thats why to get touch on the tv off yeah?

so how do we get here the the the s now k its like such a clich even in like emiaward speeches like alright mommy one now go to bed kids your daddy says go to bed like how are you?

they say it outloud is an an incredible feat process was one gasis to what might have happened is the speech writers row to speech that they needed to have for whoever the Nomini was and then once they found out it was jd vans then you insert jd story intelligence Trump messaging yeah speech and then the assassination attempt happens so then you add that topper in yeah?

so now youve got an assassination attempt topper into your bio into the trumpworship classes by the way i say this was the this was my prediction for the Trump speed this was that that there would just be a the learded up toppers, which is so far happening。

but just substance wise to i think its interesting that all of the issues that the Republican Party and Donald Trump have vulnerabilities on in the selection, abortion, election denial, sort of a all kinds of extremism with the exception of immigration, which is sort of core to Donald trumps political philosophy weirdword to say doms like politics and jd vents as well and sort of this trying to present themselves as economic pop because even though they want to give tax cuts to reach people and and do regulate everything those were like the two main issues, none of the other issues that really like trip up republicans you heard in this beach as much tonight yes!

always the when they get to the the working class politics all just vibs right its working that theyre theyre doing working class vibes theytregmen immigration they donmention the corportax cut the ruling class they mention the ruling class were there no thing never actually policies on that this are real liberal elite comment or thing to notice but i cant wait its uh its always striken to me the disputes they can begin with a long intro about assassination attempt ends up at a place where youbragging about your grandmother having 19 loaded guns in the house and no one kind seize the weirdness there the disconnect between maybe maybe are gunfetish in this country is part of the problem not a thing were proud of i tell you my reaction to that was which is also like my recollection of the book is its a lot about how this kind of grievance and sense of being underthreat is a way of avoiding facing up to the real problems hes very hard on his community right, its not understanding its super harsh and its and thats why that book became a a liberal darling because was actually like kind of being honest about the ways these places were supposed to be responsible for what it happened!

so wehad now a full day or two to digest all the jdvanstakes rivals could handle one notable subplot is that the Republican national security establishment isntoo happy with fences isolation is views speciallyon u chain that did not come up tonight i dont believe he talked about you grain tonight yeah!

they reference to the big tent on nationsecurity issues right and America first lot of America first right!

but sort of yeah yeah it over you crash yeah me light about donetrum proposing the warner rock even though last month in interview with Ross doubt it in your time yeah, JDMAN admitted that actually in two thousand Trump said something that said we said he supported the invasion of rock so jdy again a month ago。

said he new troublesfalse shit on that front and today game credit for and apparently big some big good big Republican donors arent too thrilled with his protection this views so they probably like that democrats are also pushing around videosavantsaying he wants a national abortion band he said that twenty twenty two there was so close on my talk across where he said that were were being ruled by a bunch of childless cat ladies were miserable with their own lives i remember when that happened i remember that class really has this like is had this like real hard edge over the last couple years when like talker and some other speeches that youre like oh anything else standout you guys since Vance was announced that has made you either think hell be healbevaluable to the Trump campaign in this way or oh actually hes going to be this is a real vulnerability now the democrats can exploit dan what you think i think that the whole discource is probably overstated me device president generally does matter very much now you can absolutely fuck it up by java can devise are Palin and which is but that its not really about the vice presence about what the vice ential choice says about the person who made the choice you know the idea that theyre going to park him in pensovidia michiagain with counts and hes going to be some sort of rust belt ambassador for terms, he said all the States!

he said get said over again。

said overblue all states tonight yeah!

couple time im sure hell go to those states a lot because those of the States that if Trump wins one of those States the election was probably over, but theres nothing infances record his performance and Ohio, his policy positions that suggest he has some sort of secret source that is going to help him with those voters his populism, economic populism, and theres been all these annoying think pieces about how he and Josh holley, and these codry of Republican eghads are coming together to try to create this policy framework around America first populism it all this is terraffson masty partitions yeah you know and he just this performanable shit were hes like, he said this and the ros interview were hes like have more align with the Bernie bros and some people my own party but that doesnmean anything and he says a nice about meanacon once and thats seen to be seen to be the hes something transformated figure and Republican Party hes not and the reason that is all doesnt really matter is his policy positions do not matter Donald Trump stuff and at the convention on Tuesi night stiff schoollease the Republican wip stood up or the public leader i guess studup and said in the first hundreddays we were gonna make the row Trump tax counts permanent 嗯哼, right?

like that is the Trump vancer gender is tax cuts for the rich yeah the the the sort of populism of the tax policy is um hating universal childcare more than you hate a child tax credit but trying to stop both yeah before we move on from jd events it was reported that uh jd events reached out to vice president coml Harris they have this a cordial phone call and then the Trump campaign put out a response to setting the date for the vice presidential debate between j events coma Harris and their statement was we dont know who the democrat nominee for vice president is going to be so we cant lock in a date before their convention to do so would be unfair to gavennews some jbprigression whichmer or whoever coma Harris picks as her running mates points theyre yeah theyre having fun push Tron theyre also scared shitless that that there might be a change can i just fly one other thing i jumped at about jds i i think you so new on the stage the people are trying to figure out whether he sincere or you know was the the detailbilliology jd events three o one or today the real one this uh anecdojumped out of me from a New York times profile of him to they talk to a person name cern Nelson whos a former class made of jd vances whos transgender and was once close friends with both jd and his wife and Sophia Nelson recalled that jd delivered home baked treats when uh Sofia Nelson had top surgery and then they stop talking in twenty twenty one when he started embracing these vicious laws, theres an archancil bill opposing trans undercare for miners so its clear that a few years ago before using politics jd vans saw the humanity in people first and he didncare transpend or not he got your house and you know bring you browdies or something and now he is more than happy to be vicious in nasty in harm, people who are his friends if he gets him on the ticket。

he is a man driven by visible helpable ambition and nothing else yeah work from tonight yeah!

but its funny with the that its also why its like that guy maybe that you know you would never know seen that guy on stage that he has that incredibly compelling story because he is ambitious and he did become what he needed to become to get there and he looks much more like a tech guy of sed at this point doing impression of a Politician and it speaks to actually his credit how sparty is in how far he came but doesnmake much but also。

why he did so pro in the respot parts of Ohio against Tim right people can smell that bullshit room Emil so i the only time i left out loud tonight at all uh was during uh event to speech?

which is fine uh this shes um the jd vents wife she ned all nervous it was sweet, but it wasnt great!

but she said uh he had one overriding ambition to be a husband and a father and i would really like i broke i laughing is clear these most ambitious persons some other ambitions 39 earl by spresential lemony uh fee with a notable speaker from tonight don junear his fiance a game foil soon to be obscure again governor dog burgem got passed over former trumpade peternavaro who got out a prison today after serving four months for refusing a sopena from the January sixth committee brought the house down!

brought the house down!

yes!

many people said it was the most apples of the convention since Trump walked in the room on one day night love a is this still because fucking whats his name Kushner Google trade yeah him up with this book that guy goes anyway。

sorry 我就 it was a they love a confect you know yeah and then there was convictions i mean there you go there you go there was also a video that they played of gold star families who had lost uh love ones during the withraw from afghan yeah is the families of service member sewer killed at Abby gate in those file days of the Afgano sang withraw and there was a six of minute pre tape video where they talk to you know moms wives you know sister brothers of the family is talked about you know who the service members were and they then they also talked about you know they should footage of uh president Biden that the dipify transfer ceremonia Dover looking at us watch they talked about how things didnt go well in the conversation with Biden in the families and then they said in this video that you dont play click we play this yeah, we dont play the client the administration!

the White House are president has never once mentioned their names not one of them honestly i i dont feel like Joe Biden cared he just had no empty for us at all i do thinking competence played a huge factor in what happened um bad decision, bad leadership, and it all starts at the top Joe why didnt should not be leading this country there was no point in making that hard deadline August thirty first, it was one hundred percent a political stunt he let my sundown he let the thirteentdown heletthe 45 wound down he let those 174 severance down he let her country down!

and then what they hears them all says that they could be here yeah and then after that uh the parents of the fall and came on stage and they read the names one by one and it was a i thought incredibly powerful well done and brutal political head Biden did reach out all those families right well, he he met with them at Dover during the transfer the remains back home but i think you know he this is that really tough seen that jensocky actually writes about underbook where and hetry to talk to them about his loss and losing his son and i think that helps them connect with some of the families but others were offended by it and it didnt go well and i look im im not sure anymore can say anything that would make you feel better in that moment if yous lost a love one but yeah!

so then there was don jr he went up to speak he then introduced his daughter Kai Trump whos much better than him my far my first, she did more to humanize Donald Trump theyre her grandfather than anywhen i had heard and then done junior unfortunately got back on stage after she was done in yeah, hidden youre speaking heres your sumifispeech whos running things?

does anyone really know, is it is it hunger, Barack Obama yeah, maybe its the ghost of cornpop remember build back better instead we got broke bumbling Biden who made a good mistake the cornpop thing is a real detail i would you say you have to be the biggest junkey left door right fourteen right its also its a deep cut for political junkeys its also logical!

logical nonsense does it its that like, its not the call, its not a good, its not what does it mean oh maybe its cornpop this old story he tells doesnmake sense on his own terms yeah!

a guy he argued with when he was a lifeguard in the fifties。

the gormember build back better no, no one remembers build back better thats the problem actually!

it always never keep the ira and no one knows what that stance for either yeah and nobody will never know have your about the chips that yeah yeah that and then and then next year itll all be turned to highway funding anyway, but the John jr always has the energy of just like a coked out drunk terrible customer to restaurant calling a waitress sweety you know like thats a sort of like is whole vibe forever just the life of doing that yeah yeah i mean they they they dont trums granddaughter don jr daughter seventeen year old girl talked about him as a grandfather calling her when he shes at school!

talk about the golf game like all the humanizing stuff you expect from a family member then they bring out a sun and he just does this read me screamed that was you know probably should have been left on rumble dot com or wherever usually does this podcast yeah!

what does up?

where does it speak from his voice its all its up here speaks it up high its up hides but its front of the throat but hard lines like Teddy rows about smann in the Aren in the Arena has a name and its Donald Trump no just lot of just i mean every convention is the of both parties is just fucking chock full of way too many clich but the last couple days have been really genr best days are yet to come have you heard that its also like maybe they are maybe when they may maybe when they went through and did their unity pass on all these speeches they took out all the good lines thats that you know i better i better division lines or pre the the topic run Johnson got a get as old speech back yeah!

alright will be right back, alright lets talk about the upcoming democratic convention in Joe Biden, who string of luckcontinue today when he tested positive for covid right in between campaign events in Las Vegas, uh whitehouse said hegot milesympums no fever will be isolating at home and Delaware hope you get better soon presidents also dealing with more bad political news i just before we recorded this abc reported the chuck schumer told Biden in a meeting on Saturday that quote it would be better for the country if he ended his reelection bid, we then learn the morning that schumer and hacking jefferies encourage the dnc to move back the date of the virtual role call to nominate Biden this is what we were talking about last episode in response the rules committee put out a letter today saying that the voting wont start now until August first, so that by sometime theyre not a lot for the rapidly growing group of congressional demographs who have publiden to step down from the ticket that faction officially, grew by one bigname today as Adam shift, we talked about yesterday as well said publicly what he was reported to have said in private uh, in his statement to the la times shift praise Biden as a great president, but said quote i have serious concerns about whether the president can defeat Donald Trump in November and called for him to pass the torch this all comes the new associated press poll shows that two thirds of all democratic voters now want Joe Biden to withdraw in a new blue Labs analytics pole shows basically every other potential democratic candidate running ahead of Biden the swingstates who whereto begin whered begin?

uh lets start with the shoomer news, Danny think its as big as it seems yeah!

i think i think its its a very big deal because there have been rumors for a launch hand that theres a bunch of senators who privately want by in the step aside remember i was like two weeks give it a hundred years ago when mark warner was organizing a meeting that then get canceled we only as ever right now have two sender should come out uh well guess one senator or one sender to be shift and Peter vulture for mind this could lead to more truemed by met privately on Saturday right before the assassination of temps we never really got any read out on what happened that conversation we now know that shumer was more direct than i think a lot of people assumed you know you know its interesting though is im thinking of the timeline now shumering by me on Saturday binen does the lesser hold interview Monday in which he was no less defiant publie about staying in what i unless now im now im rethinking it did i miss anything or dont love it what do you think i think theres two ways so see it one is i we as we talk about the last pod Joe Biden has to be define until the very moment is not theres no other option i think it is interesting theres this dynamic people really want Joe Biden to make the decision and theres an understanding the Joe Biden is a proud person and so that he wont be pushed and so theyre trying to pull him you know uh there is reporting that a lot more people were about to come forward!

calling on buying to sepiside, and then this as ination time happened was just interesting that shimmer has this meeting by nistifying on Monday and now were getting the leak it does seem like people are starting to come to groups with the fact that its gonna take more pushing then pulling and theyre gonna not to be more public than maybe they hope yeah!

i think the initial strategy was to try to have these conversation to privately and politely and now people are going public with demands not request i did see the javasounony a great reported cnn just reported the president Biden is now more receptive to the push for him to leave the ticket hegone from saying uh, coma Harris cant win to asking if coma Harris can win!

so that does seem like a senior democratic sources saying this to tosalany yeah, its i in private conversation hes getting a lot hes being, hes sounding a little more receptive even though hes not publicly the other possibility here is that schumer had this convertation with Biden and Biden was not so receptive and sumer thought that maybe there be some movement on this and there hasnbeen and then maybe thats when it leaked so John a curl now, officially, smumersoffice put out a statement that was sort of a nondenial that was like unless the source is truck shumer or Joe Biden themselves this is just idle speculation like OK well!

pretty what a strange way to introduce a new thought and they also said that the leader shimmer conveyed the views of his cockets directly to president Biden on Saturday not sure what that was clearful yeah!

and we know that that most of the cockes at this point i mean there was reporting in the cockets meeting that John Federman asked everyone OK whos actually on board with Biden and only for senatorers raised their hands well?

uh that was from last week so one of his jd Vantana Mustash it was i also manendas was so there the time so we we wheres he on this right?

yeah as well that dependent who makes me a better offer?

so you get schumer and jefferies were both push in the dnc to push back the role call vote Nancy policy is working behind the scenes to try to uh get jobine to sepicide so it does now seem that the entire leadership of the Democratic Party is a is working on this now what is ever given us less hope than entire leaders with Democratic Party working on something why may i think the it can mean that they are working on a to create a path for buying two subdoc it also mean that no matter what happens the best move for the party is to handle this virtual rocall and the most transparent fair minded way because if you!

if you even if su we dont be you get different shimmer didnmake that case to Biden its still in his interest to handle the virtual raw call better because its going to lead to a mask up around the party if you were to go with a plan, the dnc was pushing quite aggressively just twenty four years ago yeah!

so lets talk about that so we talk about this last night and it seemed like it could be as earlyas next week that they were gonna start this thing now theyre saying no voting can start until August first and they do want to wrap it up by August seventth, which is the sort of fakish deadline and Ohio uh the old deadline and Ohio that were still going with if Biden does step aside doesnt seem like theres much time for any kind of many primary open convention its certainly theres enough time at that point if Biden does just endorse commo Harris in the party units behind commall Harris then were off to the races they can do the virtual role call she would have to pick a running Mate rather quickly beyond that doesnt seem like theres a lot of time if theyre gonna start voting in August?

would they just maybe putthe whole virtual role call all together in that scenario i think you who you would either punit all together you would move it back right like we based on everything you read and everything there are bro bro publicans in Ohio site and i recognize for taking that of the grain of salt the odds that somehow they go back and change the rule so that Biden or some democratic nomini can not be on the bottom how seems quite well and doesnt see it like that risk is not so high that you would short circuit a process to pick our new nominate so you could move it back if you look at the devince of the other States that we talk about like California washen you can move it back a couple a weeks anythe rapid operate at the beginning of the convention or you could wrap it up at the convention and take on like theres no good option right do you want to have a good process to pick your best nominy do you want to or do you want to manage the legal risk that come from low likely to success lawsuits preventing boutaccess you probably want upside with a longer process else you pick a better nominee with actual voting in the convention yeah!

so lets talk about some of these um the polling that Biden and others work up to this morning so this is from blue labs and what they did is they interviewed fifteen voters across seven battleground states to test different options for the democratic nomini thats quite a bit topline alternative democratic candidates run ahead of president build, and by an average of three points across the battle ground states nearly, every tested democrat performance better than the president this includes facepresident Harris who runs better than the president, but behind the average alternative the top testing alternative candidates aside from Harris and Biden in alphabetical order are mark Kelly senator for Marizona, west more governor of Maryland, Josh Superior governor Pennsylvania in Gression, Whitmer governor of Michigan and of course, we mentioned that a people that shows now two thirds of all democratic voters want jobine to to sepicide including every major demographic group so um, what do you guys think about that bleu lab pool look!

i think it is everybody is sort of group looking for polling to validate a more confidence in this really uncertain moment i think it is reassuring if you want to make a change that there is pulling the choice even before campaign is begun that these candidstart a stronger position i just think you have to take it with a grade of salt you go into it yes, because you are concerned about the swingstay polling or concerned about the polling or seeing about it not just that that the top line had to headnumbers but the extreme concern people have about as age but you go, which are not because you think these other candidas are already pulling better but because you believe if you make this change, then you have a candidate and that candidate can do the politics you need to do to ultimately overcome the disadvanages that by now you know all these alternative democratic candidates are running ahead of president Biden that includes vice president Harris。

so show like that not great for the vice president is voters are looking for a fresh face according to this poling in those closely tied the current adminstration perform relatively worse than other candidates, so thats interesting and notable, and also probably tells you something about how republicans would message a harness candidas they would tie her to Joe Biden obviously in in some of the challenges recently also interesting some of the gains for these candidates are coming from winning undecideds in those who are supporting third parties, but they are also pulling votes from Donald Trump puges and you keep your base as well so you know listen this the theres a lot of data out there, right now lets say on balance it is been generally worse for Joe Biden than Donald Trump theres a couple poles that have entied or up a little bit so its noisy out there but you know this this pulling from blue labs suggest that some alternatives could fair well, in November yeah!

i mean we have been obviously pretty vocal about uh you know why we think by the stepping aside would give us a better chance of defeating Donald Trump but we should be honest that like none of the options in front of us are really great options right now and yeah, theres just so much uncertainty and like you said love it like you can not have the polling be the only determining factor in this decision and im sure if Joe Biden makes the decision to step aside its not going to be just based on the poling and i think there are obviously risks that come with a coma hair is nomination a a lot of those rice i believe are probably tied to the fact that she is part of the current administration and there is this antime compency vibe in the United States and all over the world right now can she overcomment i think so but racism in society and you know absolutely currency i do think personally she gives us a better chance than job by in doesthis point and then you think what what about these very popular governors and its a fresh start and you know i i think but getting to the point of an open convention figuring out, which are those candidates going to be and then making sure the candidate we ultimately choose can withstand the national spot like its just no theres no sure things here but were just were in a tough spot and its about what you think is the riskiest move and whats the whatthalistresky move all those candidates other than comleherus right now are basically generic democrats right with the slide buyer description right generic democrat whos a governer of a bid western stator generic democrat whos a senator who was also an astronaut and once they become the nomini。

they will be defined they have to define themselves their publicans we racing to define them and that that is so these numbers are very theyre interesting theyre not particularly unstructive about what a race would actually look like and i think this this is the point makes theres no candidates here who guarantees a democratic factory not a one theres no pathiguarantees that this is still a pretty republican political environment theres an anticompetent environment where the incomment party there people are angry about the economy there are about inflation we are the incommit party and so whether that candid is your Biden, coml Harris or one of these other people mention they were still going to have to navigate those said when they just is a reend, there is downside risk two that any these can its could do worse than your Biden is doing you i believe they all have a lower four but a higher sealing than Biden because we know that the voters are screaming for someone other than by nertrumpeif we give them someone who passes some set of testfor that you could have a a good victory!

but its not a currency is just a question of re of what risks you want to take what yeah i mean i think with a concern about Biden where thats coming from is that every candid has vulnerabilities and you have to fight back against them but i think the vulnerability of a large subset of the electorate thinking you are too old is an unfixable problem because you know once they have that believed they know get younger and i do think thats why the the shift statement the shimmer statement its important because it creates pressure。

but i also think it just underscores that that fundamental reality of what were discussing is not changing the other thing is the fact that some of these democrats are pulling Trump voters think underscores on the other side of what dance saying is Donald Trump is a week candid you know as part of this pulling that that said two thirds of democrats want Joe by Ninja no longer be the Nomini a lot of Americans dont think Trump should be the Nomini these are both week candidates and voters been saying for a year not the elements the voters been saying this for a long time that they want a different option democrats even saying for a long time that they thought Joe button was too old it was the everybody else hoping they could get to the end of this process without having to face that reality, but the debate change that i think the fact that there are people out there saying im right now a Trump builder, but im open to an alternative i think just i think in that poll it is twenty seven!

percent of Republicans one a would prefer the Trump replaces a number, and if we were in a normal lesson cycle, that would be a huge gigantic number 嗯, for someone, whois at their convention, who won their primary easily and one in four members of their party want someone else with a dominate we would be that is like a flashing red light siren, we candidate, but just because of the situation marine, everyone is just throwing that number one like look how strong Trump is only a quarter of his voter is hit up yeah!

the the idea to say well you know the all these are publicans want one Trump to serviside and and no onesclaring for that luck you know pu obviously!
