The Glenn Beck Program

Key Insights

Why is Glenn optimistic about Trump's second term?

Glenn is optimistic because Trump's new government efficiency program, led by Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, looks promising. Trump's agenda aligns with Glenn's vision of cutting waste, reducing government size, and returning control to the people by the 250th anniversary of America.

What is the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and who is leading it?

The DOGE is a new program aimed at cutting waste and improving government efficiency. It is spearheaded by Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, with a goal to complete its duties by July 4, 2026, the 250th anniversary of America.

How does Ramaswamy propose to reduce the government workforce by half?

Ramaswamy suggests a lottery system where employees with odd-numbered social security numbers are fired to ensure randomness and avoid litigation. This is a thought experiment aimed at reducing government size by half.

Why does Glenn compare Trump to Lincoln and Reagan?

Glenn compares Trump to Lincoln and Reagan because he believes Trump's vision and actions align with the transformative leadership seen in these past presidents. Trump's commitment to cutting government waste and returning power to the people mirrors the actions of Lincoln and Reagan in their respective eras.

What is the significance of July 4, 2026, for Trump's agenda?

July 4, 2026, marks the 250th anniversary of America. Trump's agenda includes completing the work of the Department of Government Efficiency by this date, aiming to give back the government to the people and restore America's founding principles.

Why does Glenn support Pete Hegseth for Secretary of Defense?

Glenn supports Pete Hegseth because he is a military veteran with a no-nonsense, conservative approach. Hegseth has a strong resume and has written a book on ending wokeism in the Pentagon, which aligns with Glenn's views on military reform.

What concerns does Glenn have about Trump's potential Treasury pick, Scott Besant?

Glenn is concerned about Besant's early career at the Soros Fund and his admiration for Robert Rubin, who repealed key provisions of Glass-Steagall. Besant's ideas for a shadow Fed and a 3-3-3 plan based on Japan's policies also raise red flags for Glenn.

How does Carol Roth view the current economic situation and Trump's potential impact?

Carol Roth believes the current economic situation is precarious due to hidden inflation and high debt levels. She thinks Trump's policies could spur growth but cautions that managing the fiscal foundation carefully is crucial to avoid economic turmoil.

What does Glenn think about CNN's financial situation and high salaries?

Glenn finds it absurd that CNN pays high salaries to hosts like Anderson Cooper ($20 million) and Erin Burnett ($6 million) while facing low ratings and financial struggles. He believes the network's model is failing and that high salaries are unsustainable.

Why does Glenn think the migrant surge at the border might decrease under Trump?

Glenn believes the migrant surge might decrease because Trump's tough stance on immigration and border security will deter migrants from attempting to enter the U.S. He also notes that some migrants might turn to Canada due to Trump's return to power.

Are you ready just to sit there and just be like, oh, yeah. I mean, this is, I think, Donald Trump.

Is becoming the greatest president to ever live. If this stuff happens, I may put him, honestly, I may put him up there with Lincoln. Wow. Yeah. He's trying to do a lot. If he can accomplish this, it will be a heavy lift. Yeah, heavy, heavy lift. But, oh my gosh, he speaks my language every night. I'm like...

I mean, honey, can you leave us alone? I'm just reading the news of his latest proposal. I need some alone time right now. It is Ramaswamy and Elon Musk. Okay. This is his latest. Let me see if I can give the actual release first.

what he said. Oh, it's just we it is so sweet. So he comes out and he says, look, what we're going to have is this Department of Government Efficiency. You know that Musk was involved Doge and he says it's going to run until their duty will be over by July 4th, 26, which is the 250th anniversary of America and

So we got a lot of work to do until then, but we're going to give back to America, the government, give it back to the people. And so what they're talking about doing is finding all of the ways to cut waste. And Ramaswamy has come up with this great idea of how to fire people. Okay. We know the problem is that you just can't fire people because they're just going to, they're going to,

take you to court every step of the way. Everybody's going to say, you only fired me because I was black or white or whatever I am. I'm handicapped or not. I'm handicapped and you can't fire me. That's all that's going to happen. Then they're going to go to court and say, the president cannot fire all of these people. We're still going to have that one. But how does the Supreme Court rule that the executive is not in charge of

Of all of his employees.

Because the executive branch is in charge of the cabinet and all of the cabinet positions and all of the agencies under those cabinet positions. Typically how organizations work. Correct. That's why I'm so nice to you. Wait, what? You have this power over my job, so I have to be incredibly nice to you all the time. Right. So everybody, if you're running a company...

And you need to reduce the size of the company. You will have companies, they will just cut whole divisions because they don't want any of the lawsuits. It has to be random and it has to be everybody, right? So what Ramaswamy has come up with, and he says this is only a thought exercise, but I think it's brilliant. What he's come up with is we're going to reduce the government by half and here's what we're going to do.

We're going to say everyone who has an odd number at the end of their social security number, you're fired. So now it's just random. Now, this is not the people that are elected. Okay. So if you're elected into that office, you're not fired. But everybody else, because we're reducing the size of the government by half.

Well, I love the idea of reducing the size of the government by half. Here he comes. Here he comes. The naysayer. How did we switch roles? I don't think I'm being a naysayer. I think I'm... Let me ask you this. Go back to Glenn Beck back in the day for a moment. Rewind your life a tad. Okay. And think of yourself with a little patch, a little badge given out by George Washington. What did it say? Do you remember what it said?

Merit. Merit. Yeah. Merit has nothing to do with a random groups of firing. You want to fire the employees that suck, not just... No, I know that. But to be able to get to the place where you have merit, you have to reduce the size of the government first. You have... Yeah, but... You have...

bloodletting that have to happen. You have to cut it by half. You do. Now, there might be some really good people that we lose. Might be. Might be. Probably will be. Oh, well. And then you cut it another by half again by saying everyone whose social security number starts with an even number, you're gone. And so you've cut the government by 75%.

We can work. You don't think the people that remain are going to be focused on doing a good job? Yeah, I mean, I would like I think, though, there is just structural limitations that need to occur. Right. Like you'd really do. You're going to need to fire people that are actually pretty good employees. I mean, because of the size of the government and because of the bloat, you're going to. So you're going to need to apply again. I just think I would like to lead with the crappy employees.

So would I. But I want to. We have to. I mean, remember, this is exactly what Calvin Coolidge did. He cut the federal workforce by half and then he cut taxes by half. And when he did that, we got the roaring 20s. Can you imagine? Because he's also wanting to cut the federal regulations. Anything that hasn't passed by Congress.

So all of these, the administrator will decide all of those rules and regulations gone, gone. Do you realize how free this country will be all of a sudden overnight? I mean, hello, sexy.

I'm sorry that I find this. I mean, this is conservative porn. This is what we've always wanted. This is that hot girl walking in going, you do have a shot with me. Yeah. Okay.

I mean, it will be fascinating to see if they can pull this off. Because if there's anybody that can do it, Elon Musk, Vivek Ramaswamy. They're both, I would think, especially Elon. Because, you know, Vivek has pretty blatantly obvious political aspirations here, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. He does. You know, Elon doesn't. He's the richest guy in the world. The only thing he cares about is actually doing this job, right? Like, when it comes to this. I don't think he has...

No, his aspirations are, I want to go to Mars. Can you make that easier for me? Right. Right. And so he... It will be interesting because he's going to come in and he's going to want to do these things. And he's going to, I'm sure, bump into all sorts of issues he's not used to dealing with at places like Tesla. Because at Tesla, he just legitimately fires the people. Yeah. Right? Obviously, there are going to be lots of...

roadblocks put in his way. Trump, I think, will do everything he can to remove them. But there's a lot of walls there that he's going to have to break through. I can't wait to see him try to do it. Oh, I know. It's going to be fascinating. You know, if you can't shut down the Department of Education, Social Security number lottery happening right now. I mean, think of that.

Think of that. And Donald Trump has said what I've always said I wanted to hear a president say. Real estate prices are going to plunge in the D.C. metro area. Yeah.

He's going to be cutting so many jobs. So many. I mean, this is fantastic. I hate to just step in the way of your optimism here. No, I hate it. I hate it because you're so happy. You're like a little kid. I'm never like this. I'm,

You're never like this. It has been since 2005. I've been a pessimist on what's coming. This is the first real shot we have. This is the moon shot. This is the moon shot. Are we going to make it to the moon? I don't know. We might blow up several people in the attempt to get there. But if we stay focused, we'll get there.

I like it. I really do hope it happens. And I mean, I think that I have more optimism than I normally would have on such a thing like this. Like normally I'd be like, okay, they say this all the time, but like, I don't know. It just feels like usually there's something that gets in the way. Like I was thinking about the, uh, the first Trump term on the border. The second they came out with pretty tough border policies. They said they were going to implement them. Yeah.

About, I don't know, a couple weeks into this, we started getting, families are being separated. And then they changed the policy. This is Trump. It was in the Trump era. This is not like some other, you know, Mitch McConnell and this mysterious Mitch McConnell presidency. This was Donald Trump. And they backed off of it because of all the pressure. Do you think maybe because it's his second term, he's just like, screw this, I'm not dealing with that anymore? Oh, I think because he was in the first term, he didn't know...

What he didn't know. He didn't know who to trust. He also didn't know what was coming.

He knows now what's coming. And he knows I can't trust any of these people. I'm not going to listen. I'm just going to do what I know is right. I'm going to hire the best people in each area. And then we're making a plan and we're moving forward on day one. I love this Glenn Beck. This Glenn Beck is a very optimistic guy. And it's going to be so sad to watch you get crushed.

It is going to be. Look, I know there's going to be. No, I'm sure. There's going to be massive pushback. This is not going to be easy. But we at least have a guy who, you know, look. It feels like. Everybody said when Ronald Reagan said, it's an evil empire and we need to start calling it by name. You can't defeat it unless you know what it is. That's an evil empire and we will defeat it. Okay. Okay.

I, for one, at the time was like, okay, that's scary, but I love that. All right. Finally calling it by its name, calling it out and saying it's the end of that. Everybody fought against that. Even in his own administration, they were saying, don't say that anymore. Don't say that anymore. He was just not, I'm going to say it. It's because of that we defeated communism the first time. Because he just wouldn't stop.

What do you think is going to stop Donald Trump? What do you think will stop Donald Trump at this time? What kind of mamby-pamby, wishy-washy, guys-can-wear-skirt talk will stop Donald Trump from doing what he believes is right, other than the Constitution? So, to reverse this, if he fails, will you accuse him of wearing a mamby-pamby skirt? No. No.

I didn't think so. No, I will say that...

Here are the hurdles that we have to figure out how to get over. They threw this in the way. Great. How do we get over? He's not going to stop. He's not going to stop. It feels that way. It does feel like he really... I mean, I think a lot of it has to do with what his priorities are. Hang on. Let me give you... Yes. And let me tell you what I think happened to him...

over the summer. Okay? Why I say he's on this. Well, he got shot. Yeah, well, he got shot. But what did that do to him? And what else is playing a role in 60 Seconds? First...

I don't want to get over my skis any more than I already am, but I think it's safe to at least hope that the housing market is going to continue to improve and that the big mean orange man is here, and this time he's pissed. So you might be a little more likely to think about moving over the next four years, especially if you live in the Beltway area. For that, you're going to need a great real estate agent. And I'm not talking about some amateur who does it on the weekends or somebody who just started. I mean a serious person, an adult in the room. Michael,

My company, realestateagentsitrust.com, will pair you up with such an agent. We only work with the top sellers who are serious, smart, hardworking, and honest. In short, I started the company because I learned how to find these people the hard way. I want you to be able to find them the easy way, and now you can. realestateagentsitrust.com. I don't charge you anything for the referral, and you should do your own homework. Don't trust us, but I will tell you, we vet people like it's nobody's business.

The name says it all. It's realestateagentsitrust.com. Tell us where you're moving from and moving to. We'll find the agents that will serve you. realestateagentsitrust.com. 10 seconds. Station ID. Okay, so Donald Trump was shot. He is the kind of guy that just keeps standing up. Okay, that's his natural tendency. Oh, you're going to hit me in the face? You're going to shoot me in the head?

Really? I'm going to get back up and say, fight. I thought that was going a different direction in a second. Holy crap. Right. So... That was a long ass way to that fight right there. So he's the kind of guy that does that just naturally. Yeah. Okay. But he's also a guy who, and I've told you this before, he told me after he lost the last election, in the most humble of ways...

He became very, very reflective. And I said, how are you doing? And he said, I can't believe I've let all of these people who fought for me. I let him down. I lost the election. Remember, I told you this. I let him down. I can't. Now we're reversing all of the things that we had made progress on. I can't live with that. So he also really cares about you, the people. He's the first politician that I've seen that I think actually thinks about you personally.

George Bush thought about the troops. That was on his mind all the time. But this one thinks about not only the troops, but you all the time. He is serving you. I truly believe that. Now, what else happened to him? He gets up. He,

uh, says fight because that's who he is. Also, he wanted to see the crowd. You stood there. If you were in Pennsylvania, you didn't run and hide. He knew he was part of a movement. He also knew this was a God thing. So the natural thing is why was I saved? He has told me, and he has told others that he knows he was saved for a reason.

He believes that reason is to fix America. So now you have a much higher calling than I'm just me. I'm Donald Trump. I want to be whatever. Plus, he knows that the country is either sink or swim. We're at the end of the republic or at the beginning. Coincidentally, in this term is our 250th anniversary.

It's not a coincidence that he has Doge the final day of their work, July 4th, 26. That's the date of the 250th anniversary. They're not going to gather information and then enact those things by July 4th, 26.

He wants it all done by then. That's the right approach. It is. And he wants to hand America back to her people and her founding principles in a year and a half. That's right for the economy. That's right that he believes that's his mission. He believes that's his mission, honestly, from God. I really believe that.

He believes this is a nation with a purpose, a higher purpose. He believes in our founding documents. He believes in you, the people. He is quite possibly the refounder I have looked for my whole life.

And I can't believe it. I'm more amazed by your optimism generally than I am by even the giant aspirations here by the president. But I'm excited about it. I think it's a great, first of all, it's nice to have a little hope.

Right. It's hope since 2008. Yeah, it's nice. It's really nice. It's a good feeling. And I think like I am super optimistic, I think, from on my scale as to what someone like Elon Musk can accomplish if given the sort of room he needs to operate. Right. It's going to be, you know, look, all it's going to be tough. And look, when you talk about the budget and stuff, a lot of that stuff comes out of these programs like Medicare, right?

I don't know that is necessarily going to be the focus of this. Do you know? I mean, is it going to be more like looking around these generalized programs? Are they going to be they're not diving into Medicare because you can't do that. He's not legislation. No, he's not doing that. He's not doing that. He's not looking at anything that Congress needs to do first. Right. He wants to cut the size of the federal government and regulation, which will give you control of your life back.

I feel like that's too why he's not too worried about taking people out of the house for these appointments. Because I think he knows he's got a few months where he's going to be doing executive order type stuff, executive management before he's looking necessarily at that first bill. He, I mean, he just, he's got to be careful on that. He needs to make sure that he keeps the house. But, I mean, this could turn the country around economically pretty quickly. Glenn Beck.

Welcome to the Glenn Beck Program. We're glad you're here. Pat Gray joins us now from Pat Gray Unleashed. He's with us, and I have some disappointing news for you, Pat. You've known Glenn a long time, gone through a lot of his times of struggle. Yeah. And I regret to inform you, he's back on the sauce. He's drunk this morning. No, I'm not. Yes, yes, it's happened. No, I'm not. Drugs, yeah.

I don't know how else to deal with this person other than accuse him of drug use because he's so optimistic about what's coming. And I have been for several days. I know. It's usually a bad thing too. But it's not this time. It's not this time? No, it's not this time. Multiple days. It's called a bender. That's what they call that. No, it's not. No, it's not. I mean, part of it probably is a relief, Pat, than waiting for someone to stand up and say,

We're going to the moon and we're coming back within a decade. How long I've been saying we need somebody to give us a grand vision. Yeah, a long time. The guy has a grand vision. It is exciting what's going on right now. It really is. We're like hitting a new... This could very well be...

the golden era of America if he can get this stuff done. And how much do you love the Elon Vivek thing? That's the part I'm most excited about. I love it. I love it, love it, love it. It's just incredible. It is so great. Pete Hegseth, Secretary of Defense. That's fantastic. Now, why do you like Pete?

Because he's a military guy. He's a no-nonsense guy. He's conservative. He has quite a resume, too. Yeah. I'm sick of the way that the media has reacted. It's like, who? Who's this guy? You mean the weekend Fox News host? And I was a little bit like that at first, too. But then when you dig a little bit deeper into Pete Hegseth. Right. And, like, you look at, like...

The media is just like, oh, gosh, well, can you believe this guy? Who is this guy? It's like as if they know all the names of the generals that would normally get a gig like this. They have no idea who this major media personality is. They know who he is. They're just trying to demean him. So I think that part of it is just ridiculous. He is a real...

Give it. Resume. Give it. I don't have it in front of me. He did things before Fox News. Yeah. I think he was a major, wasn't he? Did he rise to the level of major? He was National Guard, which isn't usually something I don't. Did he see combat? Yeah, he did. He was over in Iraq, wasn't he? Yeah. Oh, yeah. He's in multiple times.

Yeah, and he has a bronze star. 2001. Right. He, you know, by his description, he's pulling people out of burning vehicles in Afghanistan. He is, I think, a well-balanced individual. He's not necessarily the best personally, you know.

They're going to have some opposition research on Pete. Yeah, that's true. So he's had some problems with women and everything else. I mean, far as, you know. Liking them too much. Yeah, liking them too much. Liking too many of them at the same time. Right, right. But I mean, you know, that's well known. But he also literally wrote the book on ending wokeism in the Pentagon. Yeah.

So he may be. I mean, how many people went did Trump go through the last time? This guy may not be somebody that is going to take us through everything. He might be the guy that Donald Trump says, go in there just now.

Rinse it all out. Get all of this wokeism DEI stuff because you literally wrote the book on it. You know where it is. Get it all out of here. That stuff is toast, right? Oh, toast. There are how many employees? Hundreds of them in HHS that are just diversity employees. They're all gone, right? That's all gone.

Don't you think? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't think there's going to—that type of stuff he's really going to be targeting. Oh, no. But this is the—now, you were saying—you've been incredibly positive here. You did mention a dark side—the dark side. Okay, so here's—and it's not a dark side. I just don't want people to think—like when I'm really, really pessimistic, everybody's like, you're so depressing to listen to. Yeah, I know, but—

But for God. Okay. What did I say? I could come up with a million ways this falls apart, but to thread this needle in this election, it's going to take God. And I think God acted. I do. So here we are on the other side. We see that God is not neutral in the affairs of men.

We have to stay focused on him and doing the right thing for him, not get too big for our britches, not be sitting here going, you know what, we're going to smash them. And, you know, that feels good because we are, but we're doing it for the right reasons and we want to bring everybody together. Blessed be the peacemakers. It doesn't mean, you know what, let's all get together.

It means I'm standing up. Bonhoeffer is a great peacemaker. What did he do? He tried to assassinate Hitler. I mean, the real Hitler, not the latest Hitler that everybody's talking about. The real Hitler. He stood up against all odds. He lost his peace.

to be able to fight for God's peace. Okay? So we have that fight in front of us. They're not going to sit down and roll over. They're not. But for the first time, perhaps in my lifetime since Ronald Reagan, and Ronald Reagan was good, but not like this team.

Okay. Reagan's time was different, different problems, everything else. But Reagan stood stood up and he didn't care what anybody else said. And he said, that is evil and we're going to destroy it. And everybody said, no, don't say that. That's Trump. This is evil.

You're not going to mutilate our children. You're not going to take the rights away from people. You're going to return this to the hands of the people. What's happening with DEI is evil and destructive, and we're going to take it down. What's happening to our country is evil and destructive because you're saying America shouldn't exist anymore. No, that you can't do it without some big government. No, that's evil.

Trust the people. We finally have a captain who's saying that. So in the midst of battle, look to the Lord and then look to the leader who is saying, remember, when this burns up on launch, on the launch pad, and we lose eight people, we know, we knew, we should have known that that's going to happen when you're doing something this massive.

Don't cut the cord on it. Remember when they burned, when we burned up, what was it? Apollo eight on launch pad. And all of those people died. There were people who are like, see, this is too big. We shouldn't do this. This was going to be bad. No, keep going. That's what we have to remember. Be a peacemaker. Keep going for what will bring people peace. So I think it's a downside that,

But it's only if you don't know that that's coming. A fight of your life is coming soon. What's your optimism level on this stuff, Pat? Do you think they can get a lot of this stuff done? I hope so. But I always think when they have control of both houses of Congress and the presidency, they're going to get something done, and they never do. So it's tempered with a little bit of... Have you seen a president like this? I mean, I'm counting on Donald Trump being a man of his word.

I didn't believe that in 16. Okay. I didn't believe he was going to do it. Right. When he said, I'm going to make Jerusalem the capital. Yeah, right. Sure you are. And he did. And he did. Well, he didn't make it the capital. It actually just is the capital, but he moved our, he moved our embassy there. I mean, he now knows Jerusalem.

More than he knew the first time, a lot more. Look at the way he's laying this all out. He's not letting us guess what's going on. He's releasing these videos every couple of days to say, this is this section, and this is how we're fighting.

He this is not by the seat of your pants. This is well planned and it's not agenda 2025. It's his agenda and it is taking everything apart that we've all dreamt of forever. I'm in this fight, man. I am all in on this fight. If this is the way this guy is going to go, I'm all in.

I'm all in. Yeah. I mean, if he can succeed at this, it would be one of the... I mean, we look back at the Calvin Coolidge presidency and say, how did he do that? He cut 50% of the government? Like, how is that even possible? So that's the type of heavy lift he's looking at. Because now you can't even cut the increase in spending. Right.

They're pissed about that. You can't cut it 1%. Yep. So, yeah, 50% in two years was amazing. But you know what? Cutting, you still have to cut the programs because it will be unmanageable with 50% of the employees. But you cut the salaries of 50% of the people. Do you know how much that saves alone? A lot. A lot. A lot. And cutting out the Department of Education, which he has promised to do already. Yeah.

That would be huge. But that's going to be a bloodbath to get done. So what... Okay, all right. You don't think so? I want to put you on the spot here a little bit. If he doesn't get rid of the Department of Education, are you disappointed? I don't mean like disappointed, like, oh gosh, I wish we had done that. But like, is this a failure if he doesn't do that? Is it a failure if he doesn't cut the government by 50%? Depends. What has he done?

I mean, if we don't get any of this stuff done, I'm back to the depressed Glenn of we have no chance. Okay? Right. Because it's true. Because he seems to honestly want to do this. Correct. Yeah. And he has the will and he has obviously a mandate. We have always said you can't eat around the edges. You can't do that. You've got to take the whole thing and throw it out. Right.

restore it back to the constitutional principles. That's what he's saying to do. He's not saying, well, you know what? I'd like to reduce this by 5%. He's saying this is wrong constitutionally. We're going to throw it out. We're going to restore it by 2026. July 4th, 2026, the 250th anniversary. We're going to give America back

Back to Americans on our 250th. That's brilliant. And that is something that he's pointing to the sky and saying, not in 10 years. We're going to return this Constitution back to you in a year and a half.

Oh, yeah. I love it. It's a bit shooting for the stars. Yes. Yes. And if we only get to the moon, that'd be great. It'd be great. It'd be great. Because I would be absolutely over the moon thrilled if they cut the government 10%. I would be over the moon thrilled with that. Do I think that's going to happen? Probably not.

Like, what did we spend? 6.2. So you're telling me, how about this? 2026. If they spend, they spent 6.2 trillion. You guys should do another massive bet. 5,000 on the line. No, that's what I'm leaning into. That's what I'm leaning into. No, but like, if they spend instead 5.6 trillion. Hmm.

I would be over the moon thrilled with that outcome. I don't, I, this, just the way this city works, if he can pull that, just that off, I will be over the moon thrilled with it. Me too. I'm, I'm a bit skeptical that he's going to be able to do it. Not because he doesn't have the will, not because he's not the president with a mandate, not because he's not very, very capable. It's just, there's a lot of crap in the way. Yeah. And it's hard. And there's a lot of things that could happen. Hmm.

I mean, we're going to talk about this next hour. What happened with Biden and the fudging of the numbers, the economic numbers? Oh, we're the strongest we've ever been. Not true. Now those numbers are all being revised, and now we are going to start seeing them for what they really are. We are on the verge of a recession. We are on a verge of a really bad 1980s recession. So he's being handed garbage because they lied about it.

So I don't know what that's going to mean and what that's going to take to dig us out. But if he gets his way and he lowers, and I mean dramatically lowers income tax, even if we had a flat tax of 18%.

Flat tax, everything, 18%. It would be unbelievable. And just that would push us into a new stratosphere that would give us time to save the republic. It'd be awesome. I love it. Pat, thank you so much for joining us. Let me tell you about Mantis X. Now, here's an idea. Next time you load everything up and you go to the gun range, don't load any ammunition into your gun.

Just point the barrel at your target. Say, bang.

Then you can guess how close you might have gotten to the bullseye. Now, make sure you're being honest. So that's one solution to the problem of expensive ammo, but it's probably not the best. You need to make sure you're up on your aim, but everything is so expensive. Now, you could take Mantis X with an unloaded gun to the range, but you don't really have to go to the range. What it does is when you are zeroing in your target,

As you pull the trigger, it will tell you you're pulling down, you're pulling to the right, you're lifting up, whatever it is. It shows you what you're doing wrong and instantaneously tells you how to correct it. That's why 94% of the shooters improve within 20 minutes using Mantis X. Be a responsible gun owner and increase your competence and your confidence today with Mantis X. Get your Mantis X at MantisX.com. That's MantisX.com.

My daughter and I worked on for six months and it is really fantastic. All of the classics and you can get it everywhere and download it everywhere soon. All right. Let me just go over a couple of other things. Donald Trump's energy secretary that unleashed the energy boom with America becoming a net energy exporter for the first time in 75 years.

is possible to be the energy secretary again this time.

He says it is a time to reshape our energy policy and usher in an era of unprecedented innovation. It is. He's absolutely right on that. The things that we can do if we've cut regulation. See, we're looking at the debt and we're saying we can't afford this debt. You're right. Unless we have a gigantic boom of growth in this country.

Your house, if you're having a hard time making the payment on your house, which we are now, we're having a hard time making payments on everything as a government. We're not making the payments. But if you all of a sudden go from a janitor's salary to a brain surgeon's salary, you could probably afford the house that you're living in. That's Donald Trump's plan is I'm going to explode growth in this country

and make up for all of that deficit. It's going to be hard to do, but if you cut regulation by 50% or more, he's now saying he wants to cut every regulation that wasn't passed by Congress. What is that? 70% of the regulation code? Free at last, free at last. Thank God Almighty we'd be free at last.

All right, let me tell you about rough greens. If you eat non-nutritional food all the time, day after day, you're probably going to be very, very unhealthy. Imagine me eating crap all the time. You're, you know, I'm having Doritos for breakfast. I'm having...

Yeah. Can you bring some? You eat that all the time and that's it. You're going to be unhealthy. Well, kind of. That's what you're doing when you're feeding your dog kibble food. He's not getting all of the good nutrition. It got baked out of there long before. That's why you should give him rough greens. Not a dog food. It's a supplement. You sprinkle it on the dog's food. It contains all the good stuff your dog needs for a happier and healthier and longer life. Things like probiotics, antioxidants. Remember, brown food is dead food. You need the green stuff.

Welcome to the fusion

of entertainment and enlightenment. This is the Glenn Beck Program. - Hello, America. It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, and I actually mean that today. Strangely, usually when I'm optimistic, very bad things are coming.

I don't think so. I mean, very hard things are coming, but I don't think so. There's some amazing things going on just because of the way we voted. Not anything he's doing yet. Now, I'm on the happy train. Stu is on the, well, you know, I'm not going to stand in the station. I'm on the train, but...

We're all going to die eventually. And I, you know, I don't know how we switch places here. It's Freaky Friday, but I like it. I like it. So we're going to, I'm going to try to get him fully on the happy train.

And you too, if you're still standing at the station in 60 seconds. First, the Ministry of Preborn is doing more right now to help champion the cause of life than just about anybody else out there. For far too long, the left has told expecting mothers that the child inside of them was nothing more than a clump of cells. And there are so many people that want to buy into that, especially moms who feel like they're alone, they have no place to go, they can't afford it, etc., etc. That's about 68% of moms who have an abortion.

They really don't want to, but they'll buy into the lie. Well, Preborn's network of clinics saves 200 babies every day by offering free ultrasounds to expecting mothers, doubling the chance that the mother is going to choose life. And you can sponsor an ultrasound for $28, and through a match, your tax-deductible gift is doubled. Preborn also supplies mothers with diapers, car seats, counseling, and much more for two years after that.

I'm incredibly proud of the work that this audience has done to support Preborn. So let's keep going. One ultrasound is $28. $140 will rescue five babies' lives. Babies are worth fighting for. So are the moms. Donate securely. Dial pound 250, say the keyword baby. That's pound 250, keyword baby. Or go to preborn.com slash Beck. That's preborn.com slash Beck. All gifts are tax deductible, and Preborn has a four-star charity rating.

Fight, fight, fight for the babies and their moms. Sponsored by Preborn. Now, Stu, let me see if I can get you to a truly happy place, okay? This is just because Donald Trump won.

Let me start here. CNN is planning to wield the axe on some of its high-paid staff after dismal election ratings that cap off a disastrous period for CNN. According to explosive new report from Puck, network executives will unleash sweeping layoffs in a bid to save the network's flailing reputation.

Chris Wallace, after his departure, amid the report, senior stars like Wolf Blitzer and Jake Tapper have both been denied raises. No mention about who's on the chopping block. Highest paid star is Anderson Cooper. You know how much Anderson Cooper makes a year? I don't actually. Take a guess. What would you say is, well, it's, you know, it's okay. That's normal.

I mean, Anderson Cooper's been around a long time. Yeah, been around a long time. He's like a Vanderbilt, right? He's a Vanderbilt. He likes multiple commas in salaries. What would you say? What would you say?

I mean, what I really believe is it's probably in the neighborhood of $8 to $10 million. Yeah, yeah. It's $20 million a year. Because I think you could, because, you know, considering, and it's not even a knock on Anderson Cooper. It's just like you're in a network that doesn't have a lot of people watching it. It's like, how do you justify something? You don't.

Erin Burnett makes $6 million. I mean, that's insane. Erin Burnett has not had a moment of success in her life. No. There's never been a moment where people were like, wow, the Erin Burnett show last night, did you catch that? That's literally never been said. I'm the first person to say it. That along with Caitlin Collins. You see what Caitlin Collins said? No. No. No. She makes $3 million. I mean, I...

At least you could argue Caitlin Collins has had some buzz around her in her life. Erin Burnett has never had a moment of that, and she's making $6 million a year? Jeez! You know, Anderson Cooper has done a lot in his career. He's had some... You might not like him, but he's had some accomplishments...

I mean, he's hosted network television shows. He's had a career. Aaron, what has Aaron Burnett ever done for this? So she's making six. Wolf Blitzer is making three. Like, Wolf Blitzer's had obviously a bigger career than Aaron Burnett. Correct. Yeah.

How is that possible? What's his name? The guy in the afternoon we actually... Jake Tapper. Jake Tapper. We liked him at one point. Tapper's had a good career, though. $7 million. A million dollars more...

Not a third of Anderson Cooper? Wow. I'm actually kind of like, wow, good job, Anderson. That's pretty impressive. No, that's good. That's good. $20 million a year. Well, currently. They're saying an end to big salaries at CNN. So I just want to present this as just item number one in...

It's dead. It's dead. You can't support that, right? No. I mean, because the CNN model, by the way, is not a traditional TV model. Like it is, it's not even designed to succeed based on ratings. It's designed like there's a prestige element of CNN. So like where like Fox News might get,

six, seven times the ratings, they are dealing with advertisers that are like good companies, like companies that support the country, but not necessarily what they call blue chip companies. They're not doing...

Continental Airlines. Mercedes-Benz. Right. Mercedes-Benz is advertising on CNN. Although they have a lot of questionable... I've seen some of their programming. They're not all blue chip. But they do that Heroes show every year. Yeah. That Heroes show is a massive cash cow for CNN. Yeah. Because it's just like all feel-good stuff. You're talking about people who've accomplished things. And companies want to pour money into this thing. And just so you know,

The hero show is where CNN highlights heroes of the year. You most likely have never seen it. Right. Nor ever heard of it. Most haven't. It's not like a highly rated show. So at some level, you can understand this being a little bit out of step because that's the way they build that company. Right? But man, that's a lot to dump into sales, especially on someone like, I hate to bring it up, Aaron Burnett, which again is...

I mean, Erin Burnett is just like, did she just win a lottery? Did I miss that? Did she get the numbers right? Like, what happened there? What would be better for CNN? Anderson Cooper at $20 million a year for the next four years or buying $20 million worth of Bitcoin every year for the next four years. Which one would be better? I mean, honestly, which one would do better things for the network?

I vote Bitcoin. If I'm a shareholder, I'm like, we should stop investing in that guy and start investing in Bitcoin. But again, I would pay Anderson Cooper $20 million a year a thousand times in a row before I paid Aaron Burnett $6 million in a year. Wow, you are just... It doesn't make any sense. All right, okay. All right. Glenn, do you understand what I'm... I get it. We're talking about Aaron Burnett. I get it. I get it. I get it. Do you, though? I don't...

No, I don't think you do. Six. I mean, Jake Tapper is making $7 million a year. I mean, okay. You know how much I made at Fox? A million. And that's what I, that's what, that's not what I took home. And I spent a million dollars a year on just research staff. Because you hired staff on the outside of the company and bought, and

You know, burned all of that salary. There wasn't a dime left of it. No, not even close. No, no. But I'm good at that. Anyway, Bitcoin, it is at what right now? Bitcoin currently at $91,400. $91,000. It's going to hit within by tomorrow, I bet.

End of day tomorrow, it'll hit 100 grand. Tell your Marc Andreessen story again. I love it too much. Shut up. Tell it one more time. No, I don't want to tell it. Just tell it one more time. Oh my gosh. Tell it one more time. People need to know this story by heart. No. No, I think it's good. It's almost as crazy as hiring Aaron Burnett for $6 million a year. Okay. So when I first started The Blaze, I was broke. I mean, we took every dime I had and put it into The Blaze. Yeah. And I was like,

And it wasn't going well. All right. And I'm sitting in Marc Andreessen's office because I'm trying to convince Marc Andreessen to invest in us. And so Andreessen, I'm sitting in his office. He's like, I'm a businessman. No, of course not you. No, this doesn't make any sense at all. He said, listen.

I'm about to open something up. Are you familiar with Bitcoin? And I was like, kind of. It's the thing you buy pizzas with. Right. Bitcoin pizza day. This is when everybody was buying. They'd take 3,000 Bitcoin and buy a pizza. And I said, well, kind of. The pizza thing. He's like, yeah, well, it's more than that. It's going to be big. And I said, uh-huh. And he said, you should take $10,000 right now and invest it and hold it.

I'm about to open a new company. What's that? What's that company? Coinbase? Coinbase! Coinbase! He's like, it's going to be called Coinbase. Uh-huh, yeah, whatever. And I didn't listen to him. It was 30 or under 30 cents a coin at that point. Do the math on that one. So you were $10,000. $10,000.

Let's see. Let's say 30 cents. That would have given you 33,333 Bitcoin. So 33,333 Bitcoin times 91,400 current price. And it's just a shade over $3 billion. Yeah.

$3 billion. $3 billion. Do you know how many times you could hire Aaron Burnett for that? Do the math. $3 billion. How many Aaron Burnetts could I hire at $6 million a year? $6... $500! Wait, is that right? It's got to be more than that. It's got to be more than that. I might have typed this wrong. $3...

million billion divided by this I have to do in my head six thousand million five hundred Aaron Burdett gosh that's it that's terrible value yeah even when you have three billion dollars Aaron Burdett doesn't make any sense what

All right. So let me get you on the train. So you're already there. You're in a happy space right now. Right now. I love these stories. It's coming apart, right? All right. Without Trump doing anything, anything, Blaze News reported last month that there were

about 150,000 foreign nationals that were making their way through Mexico wanting to cross into the United States. Okay? Mexico was asked by the Biden administration, can you hold those guys off for just a little while? Let the election pass. When Kamala's in, you can send them our way. Well, Mexico held them. Then Donald Trump was elected. Guess who's not crossing the border? Those migrants are like,

Yeah, I'm going to go back. I think they're going to cross the border, but the opposite direction. Yeah, yeah, they are. They're going to go back. This is part of just you can solve 10, 20 percent of this just by changing your tone, just by changing your tone, which Trump is absolutely going to do. They're going to know. They're going to know. And remember what happened when Biden came in and he said, you know, we want you to you're welcome here. Come. What did they do? They listened. Yeah, they came. They came. They came.

Now, here's somebody else that has announced just because Donald Trump's victory, you know, everybody, I'm going to move out of this country because they hate women. One of the richest people in the world has just announced he's moving to the U.S. because of Donald Trump's victory. Australian billionaire Anthony Pratt.

He was just granted a green card for permanent residence last month, ranked 207 in Bloomberg's list of the 500 wealthiest people in the world. Now, he's got family here and everything else. He has companies here in America. But why would someone of great wealth move to the United States when we were talking about taxing all of your unrealized gains? Why would you do that?

Because we're not going to tax unrealized gains. In fact, we're going to reward people who create jobs. What a crazy concept. Crazy concept. By the way, Canada is on high alert. Braces for potential migrant surge because of Trump's return to power. They want to go to Canada now. And that makes me happy and sad. I like Canada.

However, I like our country more. And I really am happy because I think this might speed up the absolute disdain for the premier of Canada. You know what I'm saying? I think, you know, I think Trudeau, he's had his run. Probably time for him to go. Bye bye. This is fantastic. Fantastic. White House. This is my favorite story of the day. You ready?

White House steams over call for Biden to resign in a gift to Harris. President Joe Biden has just 10 weeks left to serve as commander in chief, but some in his own party think it might be a good idea for him to step aside ahead of Inauguration Day in January.

Jamal Simmons, Vice President Kamala Harris's former communications director, suggested over the weekend that Biden might be able to make up for past mistakes and salvage his legacy to some degree by actually resigning and allowing the vice president to step into a new role as the nation's first female president for the next two months.

Joe Biden, he said, has been a phenomenal president. He's lived up to so many of the promises that he made. There's one promise left that he can fulfill being a transitional figure. He could resign the presidency in the next 30 days, make Kamala Harris the president of the United States. He could absolve her from having to oversee the January 6th transition of her own defeat.

Now, multiple, this is my favorite part. You ready? I'm in a good mood. Are you ready to be in a good mood? He's ready to be in a good mood. Multiple senior White House officials said they doubted Biden would consider leaving office early with one senior Biden official noting the president wouldn't go out of his way to gift the vice president an honor award.

She didn't actually earn. Wait. First of all, love that. Second of all, you may have noted you already gave her the nomination. I know. You gave it to her. You gifted her that already. She didn't earn that. How many gifts does the woman deserve? Right.

I love that. The president would go out of his way to, quote, gift the vice president an honor she didn't actually earn. That's been her entire life. That's all of these people's lives. It's all of these people's lives. At least Biden went through an election, won a primary. Was it Sam Britton, the guy who was stealing the luggage? The luggage? Mm-hmm.

I mean, do you realize how stupid that's going to look in about five years? Do you realize that all of America, you know how you have. It already looks stupid. No, it looks stupid. Yeah, I know. But you know those pictures that you had, you were like, it was so cool when I was in high school. And then you look back at the pictures and you're like, good Lord, what was I dressed like? What was that haircut? That was horrible.

I don't want to show this to anybody. That's what America is going to do and say to the historians in about five years ago. Can you just not show us the pictures of this part of our life? Because we went horribly awry.

Oh, you mean like this picture of the guy watching the nuclear waste in a dress? To be fair, though, I would hire Sam Britton to actually manage an airport's luggage department before I paid Aaron Burnett $6 million. You know who's glad that Trump won last week? A crap ton of Americans. You know who else?

All the people in Israel, well, specifically the Jews in Israel. By the way, Mike Huckabee, it looks like he's going to be our ambassador to Israel, which is a great pick. Between the multi-front war that they've been fighting over the past year and the extreme rise in anti-Semitism around the world, the support of America and her president will mean a lot in the upcoming months. Have you seen what's happening over in, where is it, Amsterdam? It is bad. The anti-Semitism is really ugly. Really ugly.

International Fellowship of Christians and Jews is now on the ground in Israel, helping to support a lot of Israelis who have been driven out of their homes by the constant warfare that's been going on since October 7th of last year. They've been building bridges between Christians and Jews for over 40 years. I don't know this for a fact, but I will bet you they are already doing things in Europe where the Jews are practically becoming Anne Frank. I mean, just have to be in hiding. Don't walk the streets. It's really bad.

You can help. You can help support the Jewish people who are under attack everywhere.

So President Trump is meeting with President Biden here in just a few minutes. He's supposed to be over at the White House. He's meeting with the Republicans, the House right now at Capitol Hill. And I'm sure he's going to meet with some of the Senate leaders.

You have that vote going down today on who's going to be the leader in the Senate. Yeah. Ted Cruz came out with a statement today, by the way. He is. It was reported earlier he was not supporting Scott. He says he is supporting Scott. So that's a good development. Though it does seem I just looking at this call. She adds odds for this. Rick Scott is in third place.

Who's in second or who's in first place? Let's see if I can find it real quick. Sorry, I scrolled. Please tell me it's not Cornyn. I can't deal with Cornyn. I can't deal with Cornyn or Thune, but Cornyn really. Cornyn is a slap in the face to all Texans. I mean. How is it possible? Sam Houston would be ashamed of you, Texas. Just ashamed of you. Here we go. 62% John Thune. Rick Scott actually at 32%. John Cornyn now at 9% according to callsheet.com. Good, good, good.

Well, we'll see if the president makes his stand. And of course, we will tell you all the goings on with Trump at the White House today. Let me tell you first about relief factor. Relief factor sleep. Daily life comes to really be a grind sometimes. You can almost...

Never feel worse than when you haven't had a good night's sleep. Lots of stuff on the market that you could try, but how much of it is going to leave you feeling groggy the next day? You know, you need something that is better than that. Something that leaves you feeling great in the morning when you wake up.

All righty. Welcome to the program. So the president right now is meeting with the House. I don't think he's going to meet with the Senate today, but then he's going right over to the White House and he is going to meet with President Biden. That is going to be an interesting photo opportunity with both of them sitting by the fireplace. But no Melania Dr. Jill.

Yeah, good. I'm glad. Oh, totally. I am so happy for Malia. She has been the most maligned, mistreated first lady ever.

She's done nothing. It's not like Hillary Clinton where she inserted herself into everything and made herself a polarizing figure. Right. She never did anything. No, she just sat back and tried to be nice to people. And tried to restore the White House back to Jackie O's original plan. That garden she did, she got raked over the... That is an abomination.

She went right off of Jackie O's plan. It's not like she came up with this herself. She restored it to the Kennedy years, and it's an abomination. Oh, shut up. Stop it.

Anyway, they're just, they're whining about it. And it's like, it's never been, it's been, it's understandable for you to dislike a political opponent, but like, she's not a political. No, she's not. Okay. Uh, we have, uh, Clint Brown on, he is a guy who was the executive director for the Senate steering committee. Uh,

for the Senate and the United States Senate. He also has held positions at Pacific Legal Foundation as legal policy director, multiple roles with the U.S. Senate, including policy director for the Senate Steering Committee, assistant counsel for the Senate Budget Committee, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

He is now the vice president of government relations at the Heritage Foundation and an adjunct professor at the University of Alabama School of Law. Clint, welcome to the program. Can you help us break down what's going to happen today with the Senate?

Yes. Thanks so much for having me on, Glenn. You bet. So what's going to happen today is they're voting this morning on who's going to be the next Senate leader. They're going to vote for positions all the way down from Senate leader to conference leader. These are several positions that a lot of people don't know about. Everybody sees the face of the majority leader. That's where the fight is centered. This morning, they're giving nominating speeches. Senators Tillis,

Senator Tillis is giving the nominating speech for Senator Cornyn. But interestingly, Senators Rubio and Hagerty are giving the speech for Rick Scott. Now, a couple of years ago when Rick Scott ran, it was Mike Lee giving that speech, Ron Johnson, conservative right wing, you know, troublemakers. Now it's our potentially next secretary of state.

So what does that tell you? Because he's in second place, according to the latest numbers. And we don't know if they're true or not, but he is in second place behind Thune. That's right. We don't know the numbers, but what it tells me is the conference, the Republican conference has moved the way of conservatives and even the hill rags who don't really know what's going on in America like your listeners do.

They're now admitting it. This morning, Punchbowl said, regardless of who wins, the Senate could look and act differently next year, due in large part to Scott and Senator Mike Lee banging the drum for years about the need for an overhaul in the Senate. So conservatives are winning this battle no matter who becomes the leader. They're all moving our way.

So what do you think of Thune? Isn't he just going to be almost the same kind of guy that, uh, uh, that, um,

What's his name was? You know, Turtle Face. McConnell. McConnell. I never remember his name. McConnell. Yeah, that guy, that guy who's always in our way. Yeah. So Thune, I would think, would be a little bit more McConnell aligned. That is that is his reputation. But the conference has changed so much. Republicans have started to say, hey, wait a minute.

Why didn't McConnell let me amend legislation? Why did he put bills up negotiated in the back room on the floor with five minutes to go before the deadline? The conference, the Republican senators who choose the leader, they are mad about that. So Thune is going to have to change the way business is done, even if he wins.

to accommodate what they want, or frankly, he may not last as long as McConnell did. Let's put it that way. Oh, that would be great. I mean, McConnell, I think is an eternal figure at this point. I don't remember a time really when McConnell wasn't in charge of things. So what does a vote mean for, for Thune that, that,

The majority still is kind of on the fence and they just kind of want business as usual, kind of, but not totally business as usual. Yeah, there's so many factors that go into this. You know, it's really a small institution. It's 53 Republican senators. They all know each other. They travel together. Their wives know each other. It's very personal for a lot of them. It comes down to fundraising for most of them. It comes down to how the senators run. Right.

what are you going to do to make my life better? And for a select few, it comes down to certain issues. So a vote for Thune could be about fundraising. It could be about personal relationship, or it could be about his position on a select few issues that, you know, maybe more swampy Republicans want to get a deal on some earmark that Thune has promised them. Perhaps. I don't know. What do you say to the call for this should be

in open air. There shouldn't be a secret vote. I would like to know where senators stand on this, and I think most of your listeners would too. I understand why they don't want it to be. Right. Because imagine, you know, at your workplace, you get to vote on who gets the promotion. You have to select from three of your friends.

And then you have to work with that person. Correct. You didn't vote for the guy that got the promotion. Sorry, you're not getting that vacation time you wanted. There's certainly an element of retribution, and it protects senators to actually be able to vote their conscience for someone like Rick Scott if they don't face retribution for it. Now, they could still because they've come out publicly for him, and that's a brave stand. What do you...

why do you think Donald Trump hasn't weighed in on this at all? I mean, it would be Scott if he just said, this is who I want. It probably would be him. Why is he not doing that? He took a very smart approach to this. I certainly think he could move the conference if he did, but he has the same dynamic these senators have. He's got to work with the winner. So what he did is he said, I want the winner, whoever it is, to commit to moving my nominations forward

and first. And if you don't, I want you to do recess appointments. He made it about the issues. He made it about how the place is run and fulfilling his agenda rather than about personalities. And I think that was very smart. It's a art of the deal. Once again, um, when you, when you look at this, if, if Trump, he's got to have the Senate move, um,

And and move quickly. He's got 100 days. He needs to move things massively fast. If you have a thoon and he begins to become an obstructionist, does the president have the ability to say, J.D. Vance, go in there and take control of the Senate and do what John Adams did?

Absolutely. So you've talked about this. You've been great about it. There is a little known procedure in the Senate that gives the majority leader the right to be recognized on the floor first.

Who decides to recognize them? The person sitting in the chair at the front of the room. That chair belongs to J.D. Vance. Anybody else sitting in that chair is borrowing his seat. He can walk in the room, kick them out, take the seat and recognize whoever he wants, who is going to move his President Trump's nominees. So he can actually decide really who's running the show. Why haven't they done that in the past?

There was talk in the last administration of doing this. I ultimately don't know why they decided not to. There's always a negotiation about these kind of things. Having the threat of doing that is certainly powerful. And maybe maybe Pence just wasn't comfortable with it. J.D. would probably be a lot more comfortable with that. He's been a senator.

Since you're an attorney and this is unfair to spring on you here, but I don't know if you've seen the Doge announcement that came out yesterday for from Donald Trump about cutting the size of government.

And Ramaswamy said, this is not policy. This is just a thought experiment at this point. But if we wanted to fire half of the administration, we can do it just by holding a lottery. And it's odd or even we pull one from, you know, a bowl. And if it's if it says odd, then everybody whose social security number ends in an odd number is fired. That way we don't have any litigation or or anything else.

What do you think of that idea? Can it be done?

You know, I don't know the legal ins and outs of that idea, but certainly the federal government needs the ability to do layoffs. And that would probably need some funding decisions from Congress. But at the end of the day, the president can take that money and, you know, it's assigned by Congress to certain things, but he can decide how to execute on that. And if he doesn't have the right people in there, if government's too big, which we think it is, we know it is,

then he should have the ability to do mass layoffs like any company would. It's crazy that we can't. Right. And if the executive is not in charge of the executive branch of all of the cabinet and all of the agencies, then he works for the people that haven't been elected, not the other way around. Correct? Correct.

That's right. It's putting the cart before the horse. It's putting the administrative state in charge of the government, which is the entire problem that we have right now with the executive branch. So the president needs the ability to decide who is executing on his agenda and whether they're doing it the right way or not. It is great to talk to you there. I think they're going in to vote right now, Clint, or it was at last hour. No, I'm looking at Eastern time now. They're voting right now for Clinton.

the Senate, I believe, or at least the process begins right now. So we will see. Thank you so much for your insight. I appreciate it. Thank you, Glenn. You got it. Clint Brown. Let me tell you about Jace Medical. Markets, by the way, soon is increasing. Scott and Cornyn decreasing. I think it's because of Donald Trump not saying anything about Scott. Won't have to be worrying quite as much about the disasters coming at us from Washington, D.C. It's nice to have that off our plate, but it is still going to be a real battle. Now, what started as a trend on tick tock for women to shave their heads in protest of the election results has become somewhat more sensitive as a top of a topic for others with alopecia and those who have to shave their heads because of cancer.

um conditions where baldness isn't exactly a choice to the women shaving their head for the 4b movement you say you're shaving your head so men won't want you but does that mean that men shouldn't want women who have struggled with the loss of their hair during due to alopecia or chemo see this makes me happy inside because i'm for the chemo patients and the alopecia patients okay

your sick actions are very selfish and it's only affecting the women who have struggled with hair loss. Should we not be able to feel loved by a man? I'm bald because my body hates me, not because I hate men. Justice for the alopecia baddies and their hair loss community. Now, this started with a woman who said she woke up feeling spicy and she took a razor and clippers to say, F.

F being all things that the patriarchy wants us to be because clearly they don't give an F about us. Oh, sweetheart, you go girl. Sydney in the city said she took the clippers to her head and shaved it all off in order to take back the narrative. Oh, you've taken it back.

It wasn't just a loud change in style. It was a rebellion, a loud, intentional, in-your-face protest against the patriarchy and the suffocating grip of the male gaze. For far too long, women have been conditioned to believe that their worth is wrapped up in their strands of hair.

That's ridiculous because clearly it's either your boobs or your butt. That's, I mean, if you want to be honest about what guys, they're not going, oh my gosh, the hair. Am I right, Stu? I mean, that plays a role, but I mean, if we're all going to be piggish...

Let's go down that road. This is me taking back the narrative, redefining beauty on my own terms and pushing myself. It's the bravest thing I've ever done. The step beyond the confines of societal expectation. Shaving my head wasn't about rejecting femininity. It was about defying the idea that our femininity needs validation through the lens of male approval.

Get over yourself. I hope all of them shave their head. Honestly, everybody who voted for Kamala. I mean, it's yet, you know what this is? Virtue signaling. That's it. So they can look at each other, you know, alone by themselves, walking around, kicking rocks, wondering why they're so alone with their cat all the time. And they'll be like, there's another person just like me. She's so brave and alone and lonely.

Nobody wants to be your friend anymore. Somebody who really has a distorted view of life. Yeah, I'm just like her. That's important. That's fantastic. The 4B movement, by the way, is what they all claim to be a part of. The 4B movement stipulates four no's. No sex with men.

No giving birth, no dating men, and no marriage with men. Oh, okay. So, in other words, an end to the species. Fits right in with the liberal agenda, doesn't it? All right, more in just a minute. Hi, Glenn. How are you? I'm pretty good. I'm pretty good. You know, I'm feeling very optimistic, and I don't want anybody to knock me down from the street, but I'm feeling like we finally have...

Everything I have asked for in a leader, somebody who is pointing to the horizon and giving us a huge goal like JFK did. We're going to go to the moon and come back within 10 years. I think with the with the Doge announcement yesterday, I think he's saying I'm going to cut the regulations. I'm going to cut the size of government and I'm going to give the Constitution and the government back to the people that

By July 4th, 2026, which is our 250th birthday. It's exciting.

It is exciting. Is it an uncomfortable place for you to be? Because I know that you're usually a contrarian. You're the person who gets on the boat and looks for the exits. Like, are you dealing with all this optimism okay? I don't know yet. I don't know. It's weird. I haven't been this optimistic, I don't even know, for 15, 20 years. I have been just seeing the burning down. And I recognize...

That this is not going to be easy. They are going to throw, they're just, they're not going to roll over. They are going to throw everything at us. So it's going to be ugly. But from now until, you know, things get ugly, I think we should enjoy this time and, you know, mentally prepare, but take a breath and just relax, you know? Yeah.

Amen to that. I'm with you on that. We have had such a weight on our shoulders, like you said, for a couple of decades, and it's really accelerated in the last five years. And the fact of the matter is that now we do have optimism. We have a mandate. We have a path forward. And as you said, it's not an easy path to navigate. It's one that is full of pebbles and rocks and barriers. But that being said, there's a path.

And so, yes, we always need to be prepared. You know, that's a non-starter. But we cannot live with this giant cloud. We do have to, you know, hope for the best and, you know, make that optimism self-fulfilling, do what we can to push forward this opportunity for the American dream to be seized by everybody. Okay. I don't believe anybody's appointment until you see it on Truth Social. Okay. Right. I personally think

He is he's checking the boat for leaks right now. You know, I think some of these names are just being said, oh, you know, the only person I told was you. So he's checking his own boat for leaks, I think. But one of the names being touted and thrown around for the Treasury pick is somebody I I don't know. Scott Besant. That's it. That's it.

Besant. Besant. Besant. Yes. Okay. Who is he? Say that 10 times fast. Besant, Besant, Besant, Besant, Besant. Okay. Who is he? So obviously the Treasury Secretary pick, let's just put it on the table, is going to be better than Janet Yellen. Yeah, anybody. Anybody. I would be better. Yeah, you, a stockpile.

puppet, a random name out of a phone book, whatever it is, it's going to be better than Janet Yellen. The Trump administration tends to go for the jockeying of the billionaires and the Wall Street type. So that's what you're looking at. Scott Besant is interesting because he is not necessarily famous, but he is famous for the people who he's been associated with. Yeah, this is troubling. So...

I'm going to set it up and everybody's going to go, ah, and then let me walk it back a little bit. So he started early in his career at the Soros Funds, and he ended up being the CIO of the Soros Fund and the likely successor to George Soros, which I know right now everybody just fell over in their chairs and has a cold sweat running down. Right.

What I need to tell you about that is that it's almost like separating the art from the artist. You know, there are all these bad people who, you know, you enjoy their art, but you don't like the people they're associated with or, you know, that kind of thing. George Soros, I would say that he is a repugnant human being, but I'm not sure that I want to call him human. So I'll just call him a repugnant being. Okay.

So everybody knows that. But in financial circles, if you put that aside, he is an incredibly savvy, astute investor. And the best of the best people on Wall Street have been associated with Soros at different places.

points in time, including one of my favorite billionaires, because we all have always have to have our favorite billionaires on Wall Street, a gentleman by the name of Stanley Druckenmiller, who is probably the most common sense, rational, like fantastic guy that, you know,

Honestly, we would all love him to be in the administration, but he's, I think, a bit older. But he was the one. He was basically Scott Bassett was Stanley Druckenmiller's protege at Soros's quantum fund. They did in the early 90s. You may have heard about this infamous bet against the British pound that netted them a billion dollars. That was the team. So he's super smart.

And from a political standpoint, he has pushed back against George Soros. I think the most famous time was in 2014 when Soros got pressure from his allies to divest from Israel. And Scott Besant went into his office with a team of people and said, if you do this, we are going to resign.

And so that to me says this is somebody who's willing to stand up for his principles and, you know, not let who somebody like George Soros, who, you know, again, you're his CIO, you're supposed to be a successor. He didn't let him push him around. And so I think that should give people confidence.

I'm not saying take it, you know, he's, you know, that you should throw away every reservation that you have. But he's somebody who's proven that he does not approve of Soros is and is very unlikely to be, you know, a puppet as you might think. Is he a guy that will come in? I mean, we've got to cut all of this DEI crap. Yeah.

all of this public-private partnership bullcrap, all of that that has been laid deep in

into the Treasury Department. Is he a guy that will recognize that and come in and just cut it all out? We can't we cannot have a halfway person. They got to be deeply into the boat. Yeah, he is a no nonsense, nuts and bolts, doesn't want any of this, you know, stuff that is not financially related around it. I think my biggest concern, and this is going to sound very funny, is that the guy's too smart.

This may be the smartest person that we have for Treasury Secretary, you know, potentially in our history. And the issue with that is that he may be unchecked, that his ideas are so sophisticated. This is somebody who understands currencies, who understands central banks, who's dealt with financial markets. I mean, he has so much domain experience in all of these different areas, which is very difficult in finance. Usually you're kind of a specialist in one area that

he may have an idea and nobody else is going to be there to go, well, you know, why are you going in this direction or whatnot? He said a couple of kind of crazy things that I just put on your radar. One is that my biggest red flag is that his favorite Treasury secretary was Robert Rubin.

who was the Treasury Secretary under President Clinton, who repealed the key provisions of Glass Deal that allowed commercial banks to go into investment banking, which we all know has been an epic disaster. So he is going to be somebody who probably leans into bank deregulation. So red flag there. He has come up

with the idea of having a shadow Fed to basically reduce Jerome Powell's power, which, you know, as you may think, well, that sounds like a great idea until you realize if you can do that under Trump, you can do that under anyone else. And I think that's a very bad precedent and could create a lot of consternation in the market. So we don't want that either. And then the

third one is that he has this 3-3-3 plan. It's not the 9-9-9 plan that, you know, we used to have from Herman Cain. It's the 3-3-3 plan that was, he said, was based on Shinzo Abe of Japan, rest in peace, his Three Arrows plan. And it sounds different, but Shinzo Abe's plan is not one we would want here because it's very much, you know, the

Fed intervention, fiscal stimulus from the government, as well as regulatory reforms. Now, he's saying his 333 plan is going to be different. He wants to reduce the deficits to GDP to less than half of what they are, 3%. He wants to increase GDP growth 3% on an ongoing basis. And he wants to tamp down on inflation by producing 3 million barrels of oil a day.

So as long as it, you know, that it was inspired, but it's not the same. So I think those are the kinds of things that you have to kind of get in the weeds on. But he's certainly somebody who understands the issues we face, which, by the way, are numerous. They have left us a huge mess, the Biden-Harris administration, in terms of our fiscal foundation. And by the way, refinancing 13%.

trillion of debt over the next four years, as well as any new debt that needs to be financed. So we need somebody really savvy. And so I would say, guys, don't focus on the Soros connection here. Focus on the policy. And is this person maybe a little bit too smart for the position? Okay, hang on just a second. I read something from Ed Dowd today, and he said, we have been handed...

a book, a record book of fraudulent, uh,

you know, records of, of the economy. He says it's all a fraud and he thinks we are in real trouble. Uh, and we're going to find that out soon. And I'd like to talk to you about that here in just a second. First, let me talk about rough greens. As far as my dog Uno is concerned, I am the master of the house and he's a German shepherd. He doesn't even speak English. Uh, you know, and I don't speak German and you know, when Germans get into the house, they think they run the place, et cetera, et cetera. But, uh,

At least somebody in the house thinks I'm running the show. Thank God my wife doesn't speak German. Anyway, as the master of this dog, at least, I try to make sure that he's leading the happiest, healthiest life as possible. And a big part of that is giving him rough greens. Not a dog food. It's a supplement developed by naturopathic Dr. Dennis Black that you sprinkle on the dog's food. It contains all of the good stuff that your dog needs, things like probiotics and antioxidants. Because remember, brown food is dead food. You need the green stuff.

And I'm not saying we're going to go into a Great Depression, but I'm not not saying. All right. So we're with Carol Roth and we're looking at...

Something that they say could be as bad as 1982 that we're going in because the data that they have given us is all wrong. They cooked the books over the last few years, and that's going to become very, very apparent soon. So Trump is walking into a much worse situation than the media and the government have led anybody to believe. Is that true, Carol?

So I don't know if you remember, Glenn, probably about four months ago, there was like a whole slew. I don't remember the numbers. Picket 17 Nobel economists that came out with a piece and they said, if if Trump gets in, he is going to crash the economy and increase inflation and do all of these things. And at the time, I flagged that piece and I said, they are setting this up because they know the reality of what's ahead.

And so they want to be on the record to say, I told you so for something that they knew 100 percent was happening and wasn't Trump's fault.

And so that is my biggest fear. I mean, we know we're in a very tenuous financial situation. We know that the illusion of growth has been propped up with government spending, which is why I've said we have to be careful here. We have this very delicate balance that we need desperately to cut our deficits and to cut government spending and to have our doge office do wonderful things. But we have to do it in a way that is measured against change.

you know, promoting additional growth in the private sector and doing that in a very careful manner because that can get ugly very quickly. But if we cut the size of government, let's say by half. Um, so you are firing a lot of people, correct? Okay. Putting them out of work. Um, but I think it's worth all biting the bullet for that one. Um,

but then you're also cutting regulation, which will spur a business. If you could get even the corporate tax rate down to 20%, I'd like it lower than that, but 20%, you're again, leading the world. And that alone should, uh, inspire a lot of business and startup business. We, we've almost crushed the entrepreneur, uh,

And we need all that's that's where our growth always comes from. The little guy always comes there.

I mean, you know that this is my area of expertise in small business. There's more than 33 million small businesses in the country already on top of any new that might get started, but that aren't because of regulation. We had $1.7 trillion regulatory burden that came out of the Biden-Harris administration, which absolutely crushed them. We're

We're heading into the end of the year here. We're trying to get the Trump administration to come out to say that they're going to repeal this beneficial ownership information rule because that deadline is coming very, very quickly, which is giving a lot of small businesses pause. Do I want to continue? Do I want to start?

We have the flexible work, which Trump was very much in favor of independent contractor work and gig work. And the Biden-Harris administration overturned all of those rules. So those will probably be restored and hopefully strengthened in a way to support independent contractor work. So, yes, there are all of these good things, but it is a choreography. It's a it's a dance. Right. When you invest capital, it takes time.

time to see the growth from the investment. And that's why we need to be careful, because if we all of a sudden, like you said, put all of these people out of work and don't have some sort of a transition plan or find a way to model this out correctly and there's a time lag, then that creates a whole new set of issues that we could potentially be facing. So this is why this is the most critical thing. We need very strong people who don't just have the ideas and can see the long-term impacts, but

but that can measure that choreography because you have to do it in the right way. Otherwise you end up in a no good deed goes unpunished situation because remember everything is tied together. This goes back to our treasury markets, you know, which is, you know, the bastion of safety supposedly for, you know, the entire world.

All of these things could go sideways that could create its own set of issues. And then everything else is off the table because you have to deal with this emergency that was self-created in the spirit of doing something great. But the choreography on it wasn't correct. So we have to be very careful. We need growth. We grow. Growing our way out of this is huge.

But we need to be able to make these cuts at the same time. And then we have to also manage through the potential inflation that has been, again, I believe, hidden and pushed out by the existing administration. So this is a tough, tough job that they have. OK, so I only have two minutes. I mean, it took Ronald Reagan at least a couple of years to turn things around. If if.

Donald Trump did what he says, and I don't know how much of this he can get done, but he is talking about dropping every regulation that wasn't voted on by Congress.

So slashing that would be phenomenal for growth. And if he cuts the income tax as dramatically as he says he's going to, how fast would it take? How long would it take before we'd actually really start to see that turning?

Well, here's the comparison you're making to Reagan. The difference between us today and under Reagan is under Reagan, debt to GDP was about 30 percent, and today it's over 120 percent and growing. And that is the X factor. If we didn't have that, this plan goes into place and probably is able to make a difference maybe in 12 to 18 months.

But because we have to manage what this means for our fiscal foundation, and by the way, the globe's fiscal foundation, it's going to take a lot longer to get this done. So people need to be patient because this is going to be a process. Otherwise, it could get ugly. So I hope they go for the process. It's the better way to do this.

Thank you so much. I mean, she put a damper on it. She put a damper on my optimism. I still believe those things are coming, but I was hoping we were going to do it quickly, and now I'm a little more cautious. Thank you, Carol. I appreciate it. In this time of inflation, which hopefully will be coming to an end in the next 18 months, please, please know that we have to lock in a price on just about everything because everything is going to jump up in price. It is the fact that we have a chance that it starts to fall is a miracle. Let's recognize that.

Right now, if you have a car that's no longer covered by a warranty, you should really use some sort of insurance, if you will. You need car repairs. Get Glenn's new book, Propaganda Wars, How the Global Elite Control What You See, Think, and Feel. It's available now. Buy it wherever you get your books or at glennsnewbook.com. Welcome to the Glenn Beck Program. Glad you're here. It's Wednesday. We have a great program tonight. Tonight on our Wednesday night special, America's given Donald Trump and GOP a historic mandate. But what exactly is that mandate?

The election was much more than just dinner table issues, the cost of living, gas and everything else that played a big part of it. We all felt something disturbing about the state of the country. There is a cancer in this nation and we voted in record numbers to stop.

To elect President Trump to excise that cancer. We're looking for a house cleaning. Now, how do you do it? Tonight, we're starting a series that looks at everywhere this cancer has spread within our country, identifying where we want Trump to come in and just start cutting.

We begin with the country's eyes and ears. Censorship and the American propaganda complex known as legacy media. Tonight in chapter one of this series, I'm going to take you back half a century to where all of this started. The biggest progressive minds in the country found out how to brainwash and indoctrinate a select elite class. And as of today, I'll show you how they control over 90% of the information that we consume every single day.

Don't miss the Wednesday night special tonight, a beginning of a fantastic series. Hey, America, you have cancer. Where do we begin to cut it out? Blaze TV, Thursday on my YouTube channel, youtube.com slash Glenn Beck. But tonight, live on Blaze TV. Okay.

Sarah is sitting there with her headphones on, so I know she has a comment to make. Sarah. Yes. You had mentioned earlier that one of the reasons the Democrats lost was because they weren't challenged enough. They weren't pushed up against the wall. Right. And I agree with that to a point. Let me wait. Let me explain that in case you don't know what she's talking about. You get stronger when you're challenged. You're stronger now.

Um, you know, when you go exercise, they tell me, you know, good exercise, your muscles are sore, right?

Right. That's because you've torn the muscles and they're healing again, but they're also growing. You have to tear and grow and tear and grow and tear and grow. This is this is something the Democrats have never felt that pain, at least in the last 15 to 20 years. They've controlled the narrative. They've controlled the media. So they don't they don't know how to defend. They haven't had to think things through yet.

Because they haven't really, truly been challenged. We have been. We know exactly what we believe. We're in better shape right now. And that's why the Democrats lost. Okay, so your question is... So, from your book, Propaganda Wars, it kind of leads to...

we just believe what the government tells us. So I think instead of challenging, it's more, they weren't questioned. It wasn't, you know, Biden's laptop. We just let it go. That was fake news. Don't believe it. And then it comes out later because we believe this propaganda. It's all about the propaganda wars. And in your book, you lay it out and I'm kind of on stew. I hate when you're right. Um,

But you kind of laid it out brilliantly that it's just ask. And then when you find the answer, you ask and make sure that's still good. And you just continue asking until you find the correct answer from a good source. Well, I think we, but my point is because we're, it's, it's unusual to naturally ask questions.

If you're right, because you want to be right. Everybody wants to be right. And if you have no pain, you know, nobody's going to listen to a missionary. That's why missionaries always go to places like Africa, because they need answers in their life. What makes my life better? You don't see missionaries doing real well on Wall Street unless the market has just collapsed. So they've been doing really well.

So unless you train yourself to ask, you only ask, well, wait a minute. Is that really right? When you're in pain, we've been in pain. And so we've had to ask ourselves because we've been called all kinds of names now that they're out of power, but I don't see them doing this. Are they, have they experienced enough pain yet to say, okay, what, what role did I play in this? What, what, where did we go wrong? What, what was too far? What's not true? Okay.

I don't think they're there yet. They never get there. Yeah, they may never get there. They may never get there. They really don't. You're right. It certainly doesn't seem like they ever get there. I have something. It's kind of special, Stu. It's kind of just for you. Okay. The View. Whoopi Goldberg. What? Yeah. Yeah. She said that she's the real outsider, not the establishment, because she struggles too, just like the average person.

She said she wouldn't be co-hosting the talk show if she could afford financially to not host it. Well, now, wait a minute. Now, wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. You have a net worth of about $60 million. Okay. She makes, you ready for this? $6 million. $6 million.

Now, I'm only bringing this up, some would say, because that's exactly the salary of Aaron Burnett at CNN. But Whoopi Goldberg makes $6 million a year, and she says, I'm struggling just like everybody else. She's having a hard time. That is fascinating. And she works for a living.

Not really. You work as much for a living as I do. This isn't really work. Yes, we have to get up and be here on time. We have to hit performance standards. Does she? No, she doesn't. I've never seen her hit one before. Yeah, yeah. Six million dollars and she can't afford. It's tough. It's got to be a tough life. Yeah, it's tough. She'd like to stop working, but she can't.

She can stop anytime she wants. Yeah, she could. In fact, I think people would pay her $7 million to stop. She could easily get a GoFundMe going. Maybe, maybe. Yeah, sure. But like, again, like she is, she was in multiple, she was a star of hit movies in her life. Right. Right.

you can at least understand how she got the job. Yes. Do we understand that with Aaron Burnett? No, we don't. I don't understand. You have a thing against Aaron Burnett. No, I just don't understand it. We talked about this an hour ago, and Stu won't let it go, that they're talking about Anderson Cooper makes $20 million a year, and CNN is like, we've got to shave some M's off of these salaries here because we're not doing well.

You know, on election night, we had more people watching us than CNN. Is that real? Yeah, that's real. That's real. That's incredible. Yeah, it's bad. It's bad. Yeah. I mean, look, it's a total failure. It was a failure a long time ago. You know, I was in the airport last weekend. They've even lost the airport. They don't even have the trapped airport people to watch them anymore. That was the key to their success for a long time. Trapped airport people.

Nothing. That's the sort of business you need to get into, where people are forced and trapped and must consume your product. I want to be number one in every nursing home in America. Every place where people in a coma. Glenn, you already were on Fox News. You already pulled that one off. Congratulations. You've hit life goals. That's awesome. I'm going to take a break there for just a second.

All right. Let me tell you about PrizePix. This is, by the way, America's number one daily fantasy sports app. And what was it? Wednesday? So tomorrow, huge game. America's team, the Philadelphia Eagles, take on the Washington Redskins. No. I believe is the title of their squad. Anyway, it is... I love football. I love basketball. I love...

getting involved, but like, you know, you add a little bit of extra flavor when you hang out with prize picks because they've got these huge promotions. They've got Taco Tuesday, for example. They will discount player projections up to 25%.

You've got they've got the injury insurance where if your player gets injured in the first half, they will make sure you get covered because a lot of times that happens and you just get you get messed up and you know, your lineup is ruined. They will cover you for that. They've got all sorts of great things. And all you do is pick a player and they give you a stat projection. You pick more or less on that projection. You can combine them several in a row and you can win like up to 100 times your money.

So why not? Why not check it out? PricePix. And I will say, you might say, well, I don't want to lose. Well, let me give you a little proposition here. PricePix, if you go there today, use the code STU, you can get 50 bucks instantly when you play only five bucks. The code is STU on PricePix to get 50 bucks instantly when you play only five bucks. You don't even have to win to receive the $50 bonus. It is guaranteed. So check it out. It's PricePix. Get the app. PricePix. Run your game.

Welcome to the Glenn Beck program. So I just want to point out that Bitcoin is at $93,000, just hit 93. Glenn, we've had a terrible, tragic falling to $92,600. Wow.

Wow. So failure is around the corner. Crypto is dead. Can we say it yet? Can we write the article yet? It is. They will. They will. They will. When it goes to 80, they will say it's dead. But it's at 92,000. It probably should go to about 50 or 60 the next time it falls, right? It usually falls about half. Yeah. Although this, who knows? You never know. I know. I know. I always expect crazy things to happen.

I will say one of the things that's interesting about Bitcoin going forward is Trump is basically one of the things he's talked about with crypto was taking a bit getting a Bitcoin reserve. The United States is already one of the largest holders of Bitcoin because one we just get them from drug dealers and everything else Silk Road and all that. So they have all that. And the plan was to sell them.

You know, Trump is like, why don't we just hold on to them, have a reserve and grow their reserve? Yeah. But if he has if there's an official U.S. policy to have a Bitcoin reserve. Right. Which I think is very plausible in the next few years. If Trump, you know, believes in this and winds up, you know, keeping that promise, if that happens.

Doesn't like every other country wind up following us on that? When the United States takes a big step like that and says, we're going to have a reserve of Bitcoin, doesn't France, doesn't Russia, doesn't China, don't they all get on board? Because they all know if they're getting in, I can get in now and it will rise. If I get in quickly after the United States government says they're going to get into it and reserve it and keep it,

It will ensure that the price doesn't fall as dramatically. If we have 250,000 Bitcoin, I don't know how many we have, but we have a lot. A couple hundred thousand right now. So we dump that on the market, then that would drop Bitcoin down. But if we hold all of our Bitcoin...

That's going to keep the price. And knowing that, that stabilizes everything, more people will invest in it. I mean, is it possible 30, 40, 80, 100 countries wind up doing something similar if we actually do it? It is. If Donald Trump does what he says, I believe Bitcoin could be from half a million to a million by the end of his term. Yeah.

why didn't I put more money into it? I don't understand. That was kicking myself all. You made me tell the story. It's really fun. She's you'd be a billionaire right now. Billionaire. If I just wouldn't have listened to Warren Buffett.

Because he said... Warren Buffett said, remember after the dot-com crash? He said, look, if you can't explain it, if you don't understand it, it's probably too good to be true. Don't invest. I couldn't explain Bitcoin. I didn't understand Bitcoin. I asked Marc Andreessen, can you explain that to me? And I didn't understand his explanation. And I'm like, you know, Warren Buffett said, shut up! I hate that guy. Well, he wanted to keep his club name.

Yeah. Smaller. The multi-billionaire. You'd be in his club. I would. You'd be in the magazine. $3 billion if I would have done what I was told by a very smart guy to do. Gosh, that beats out your initial story of Clear Channel stock. Can you stop? Do you remember this one, Sarah? So back in the day, Glenn got offered a contract and was offered stock in Clear Channel, which

which is the radio company that now syndicates the program, you know, a parent company. And he decided to take like, what was it? Like $10,000 or something instead of the stock, which then wound up being worth millions and millions and millions of dollars later on. You're good at this. Maybe you're just really good at investing. I am. You know what I am? I'm the Jim Cramer. Oh, it's so unfair to Jim. It is. Yeah.

It is. Everyone says that about poor Jim Cramer. The guy's made a lot of good calls, too. He's had a couple that have been wrong. Oh, I've made some good calls. Yeah, no. That's true.

My long list of your investment calls. I will say you have made some good calls. Yeah. Who has Bitcoin who wishes they had bought a lot, lot more. Right. Yeah. And look, Bitcoin again, every single person. Everyone. Every single person who has ever purchased Bitcoin and held on to it is currently up. You know, the guy who said, remember he bought...

The pizza for like, I don't remember what it was. I think it was 500 Bitcoin. You're talking about Bitcoin pizza day. You know what that 500 coins would be worth. I was talking to my son about this yesterday. He said, there's no way, dad. No, I'm sorry. I'm screwing this up. He said, because I was thinking about my son. Yeah. This guy who did the pizza says he doesn't regret it.

How do you not regret it? I mean, like what if he only gave him 400 Bitcoin and he kept a hundred of them, but I have a 500 Bitcoin, $46 million right now for two pizzas. That's what he got. And they were Papa John's pizzas either. It's not like he got them shipped in from Pepe's. I mean, it was just like, yeah,

Papa John's, two Papa John's, $46 million. Now, the guy who took the Bitcoin in, it was because this is the first ever transaction of Bitcoin, the first thing that was ever purchased. That's why it's a famous story. But the guy who took the Bitcoin for the pizza also didn't

keep it until now and have $46 million. Like he also spent it on something. I mean, so many people did that. There's a guy who worked here at one point who had a roommate who, you know, bought it at like $10 and sold it at a hundred and bought like a used SUV and was like thrilled. Do you believe this? I hit the lottery. I got a free, you know, 99 Bronco. So let me give you a, let me give you something, you know, did you hear Elon Musk recently say, I've only heard him say it once.

That X is going to be full service and it will eventually, he said, people don't understand it because they'll confuse it with a bank, but it won't be a bank, but all transactions will be done. He's been explicit about this for forever. Yeah, right. It was the initial version of his company. Right. He wanted it to be that. Right. So he's going that direction. Dogecoin. Yeah. I mean. That's up too. Yeah, that's up. It might be one of those you hold. Yeah.

I don't know. It doesn't have the same kind of limitation that really drives the price up, but still it's pretty cheap and he loves it. The Glenn Beck Program.
