As followers of Jesus, we are called to treat everyone with unconventional compassion and love, especially when faced with cruelty. Repaying evil with blessings can lead to unexpected outcomes and ultimately diffuses conflict.

Responding with kindness to rudeness can bring shame to the aggressor and diffuse the situation.
We are not our own defenders; the Lord fights for us.
Choosing love over retaliation glorifies God.

Hey y'all ! Welcome to another Friday with CWCOI ! In this week's episode our host, Ally Yost, reads the Word of God in the book of Proverbs. We started to read Proverbs in episode two of season four, "We Have The Key To Life" and we are continuing to read through it starting in Proverbs 25. As followers of Jesus, we are called to treat everyone with unconventional compassion and love and the Lord blesses us when we do so.

"If your enemies are hungry, give them food to eat. If they are thirsty, give them water to drink. You will heap burning coals of shame on their heads, and the Lord will reward you." Proverbs 25:21-23
