Hello, everybody. Welcome to another episode of Christ with Coffee on Ice. I am your host, Allie Yost, and I am so excited to be here with you guys. I hope that y'all are having a great Friday. Happy Friday, everyone. Yeah, I'm just so excited. Season three has been so much fun so far, and I just really love the boldness that God has given this season already. Like, it's actually insane. Like, it's giving bold.

It's giving we are confident in our God. And so thank you, Jesus, for the boldness. And even if it's a bit convicting, I just pray that this season really inspires us just overall. Whatever this season brings, I pray that it just brings confidence and boldness in who Jesus is and sharing his goodness with

Like, wow, this is crazy. Like, just to see what the Lord has done for this podcast and even within myself since starting this podcast and starting my journey with the Lord is insane. And I hope that it's so inspiring to people to just simply watch me because I am a living, breathing testimony of what the Lord can truly do inside of you as long as you fiercely and eagerly

like just crave him and want to spend time with him and want to learn from him. I feel like the biggest reason that I've been able to transform into this like bold believer that I never ever saw coming. Like I did not think that this was the type of person that the Lord would grow me into being but I really believe it's because of the eagerness. Like I really just want to learn so much.

Like it's so funny because I was having a conversation with my mom a few weeks ago. We were on the phone. Every time we get on the phone, we talk for like legitimately three hours. It's insane. But you know, I'm so busy. And so sometimes I can't always talk to my mom even every week. So there's a lot to catch up on, you know? So we're just chit-chatting and we're catching each other up on our lives and we talk for a while. But one of the things that she said was she was like, cause I was just, I was legitimately like preaching to my mom.

I was telling her all the things that I was learning and maybe even things that she didn't even know. And it's just so cool. Like the way that the Lord is also using me to speak into my family. Like I say that in the most humble way, y'all. Like I really do. I'm not saying I'm no freaking pastor or anything, but I'm excited to share the things that I learn. And sometimes I assume that maybe my parents would know it and they're like, huh?

They're like, I didn't even know that that was in the Bible, you know? So anyway, it's just so cool, you know? So I'm like telling my mom about all this stuff that I was learning from God that week. And she was like, okay, I just have a question though. Like, who are you? Like, who is this person? And I'm like, I don't even know, mom. I don't know. I don't know either.

but she was like talking about, you know, who I've always been, you know, this is what moms do. She's reminiscing on, you know, the type of kid I was growing up and she's like putting the pieces together. She's like, it makes sense because you know, this, that, and the next, and you've always been the one to ask why, why, why, why? Like even growing up, like if we told you that you weren't allowed to do something, it was like, why? Well, why? Okay, but why? You know? And my dad always joked around saying like growing up that I was going to become a lawyer, like,

because of how much I loved to air quote, just like argue, or I just wanted answers. I was like, but why? Like, I need to know the why behind that. And then I need the, I need to know the why behind that. You know what I mean? And so I was like, well, I feel like I'm using my whys the way that they were always supposed to be used from the beginning, because I really do be going to God like that. Like, I really do go into the word being like, okay, but why? Okay, but I need to know more. And it's that hunger that has really grown me so,

so much stronger in my faith and in my boldness and in my confidence and in my joy and in my peace. Like it's the hunger and the, the, I need to know why though. I want to learn more. I want to learn more about the word and like going to the Bible for sure is the first thing that you should be doing. But also I'd be researching like as long as it's

you know, biblical and it's from good sources. But I also really love to look up the context of things even further than what the Bible says and just further, like helping myself further understand it. And I know I've already talked about that in other podcast episodes, but I also have this other thing that I use and I just used it actually. Yesterday, I read the whole book of Esther, which is in the Old Testament that I was like, whoa, this is so, it was just so powerful. Esther is a freaking queen.

I mean, she is a queen, but whoa, it was so inspiring. So, but I used my Bible handbook that I have from the Daily Grace Co. It's also linked on my shop, Mai, but I love using that because it just helps me understand it even more. I don't know. Anyway, I don't know how

I got on this little vent sesh, but I'm really grateful for the boldness that the Lord has given me for this season. And I already know that it's probably been blessing people and it's been blessing me and I'm just grateful for it. So thank you to the almighty Lord. Like truly, I will only boast about him. I would never boast about myself. This is all because of him, truly. But I'm so excited. I'm so excited for the boldness.

I'm so excited for the debunking. Like today is going to be a really cool episode. I felt this so heavy on my heart yesterday and we've already talked about like manifestation. We touched on that in season, was it two? Did we talk about this in season two? We've talked about it. I think it's titled is manifestation real? And so we've already spoken about manifestation and how harmful and scary it is to participate in those things. But I felt it so heavy on my heart and I made a TikTok about it in current time of me recording this.

I made a TikTok about it yesterday. So it'll be a few weeks ago by the time this episode goes live that you guys could find that on my page. But I basically felt such an urgency to speak on like psychics, mediums, palm readings, getting tarot card readings. I got a tarot card reading like yesterday.

into the beginnings of my journey with Jesus. I got one when I was in LA. I went to like this brand event and they offered it and I was probably only three or four months into my walk with the Lord. Like I didn't know any better. And so I've done that. BC Alley has gone to psychics. I took a trip to New York City actually with a friend of mine at the time and we got a psychic reading and

The thing is that I'm grateful for is that the Lord never really allowed me to get too deep into that stuff. Like, I've shared that even in my manifestation episode. I was like, you know, there were some things that I was trying to dabble in when it came into the manifestation realm and, like, you know, channeling things and spirits and higher entities to create your own reality and to make things happen in your life and...

I only touched it a little bit and I'm really grateful for that. I think it was the grace of God that I didn't get too deep in that into that because he knew I would be here one day. And so I'm so grateful for that. But the reality is, is like people do be getting deep in that stuff and it's hard to get out and manifestation is something that can work. You know what I mean? And that's the hook.

That the enemy gets people with. Is he actually does grant people. The things that they are manifesting. And it's literally just to get you sucked in. Until you are struggling with sleep paralysis. Or night terrors. Or depression. Suicidal you know.

thoughts and like all of this darkness so anyway i'm grateful the lord didn't let me get that deep with that stuff but i have dabbled in it and it's so scary y'all and i really want to speak into my christians we cannot we cannot be dabbling in that stuff while also following jesus because the bible literally tells us how dangerous it is and i don't want this is me just helping another brother or sister out right now y'all like i

I truly pray right now that you don't feel any spirit of offense, that you don't feel a spirit of attack.

or that I'm judging you. Like, I feel like I have every right to speak on this because I've like dabbled in it and I also saw nothing wrong with it. Or I didn't understand the depth of the damage in participating with things like this. Or like playing with Ouija boards or going to graveyards and talking to the dead. Or, you know, like I've participated in stuff like that where we would have those little like beep beep beepers, you know, and you'd go out into graveyards and you'd talk to the dead and it was thrilling and it was exciting.

but that's the thing about like the things that can truly hurt us or sin or what, that's the thing, that's the thing about like the darkness, that's what the enemy does is he like wraps it in this bow that makes it look like it's good or it's fun or it's, it's with love or, you know, and it's, it's literally not. Like when you go to the root of where all of these come from and what they originate from and what the meaning really is, y'all, it is legit darkness. And so I made a video on

TikTok saying, hey y'all, if you guys are Christians and you love the Lord and you are going and you're going to these sessions and you're getting these readings done and you need to stop because these are open doors to the darkness. And I don't know why it was put on my heart in that moment, but I even felt like the Lord was like, you need to bring this to the podcast and we need to dig deeper into it. We're going to back it up with scripture, y'all. We're going to back it up with like historical, like where do these things originate from?

from and why do they exist? Because the other thing, y'all, and I'm going to say this, this is something that I have heard quoted out of Ashley Jones's mouth multiple times. I've learned this from her, is that it does not matter what your intentions are with these things.

Even if your intentions are good, even if your intentions are with love, even if you are somebody who is practicing these things and you're trying to help people find closure, whether it's from mistakes from their past, family members who have passed away. Like I do believe that the enemy also likes to mask this in a way where it's like with love and it's healing and it's giving people closure and you're receiving closure.

closure and you know you're hearing from your family members that have passed that you know either had like a really traumatic passing or maybe you never got to know this family member and you want to speak to them for the first time like you need to know that it does not matter how good your intentions are the enemy does not care if anything he like prefers for you to be kind of naive and

And I think that's actually the best heart posture for him to come in and take advantage of you. Honestly, he doesn't care how good your heart is. Actually, he prefers that it's good so he can take advantage of it and fool it. And so I went into these things with a good heart. What do you mean? Like I went into these tarot card readings and I was like, hey, I just want to know what's going on with this guy that I like, you know, or I don't know. Like I'd go into these psychic readings thinking that it would encourage me about my future. You know, it's like

That's what the enemy does though is he wants it to like he wants to mask it in this thing that's good and it's not and so Y'all just need to know I even learned this lesson recently where I was burning incense in my home Y'all like I was only doing it for a couple weeks But I didn't see anything wrong with it because I was like, okay, but it's not like i'm i'm saging my home Which that could be an entirely other episode that we talk about is like why? Doing things like that

and burning sage in your home and walking around with it and being like, oh no, it's good energy. It's giving good energy. First and foremost, it's giving idol. It's giving replacing God. If you want peace in your home, invite the Holy Spirit into your home. If you want peace and air quote good vibes in your house, you better be worshiping on your knees and playing worship music and asking God to be present. You know what I mean? To be rebuking spirits, which is another thing we can talk about in this podcast. We can talk about rebuking. We can talk about

how to anoint your home. Actually, that's an episode that will absolutely be coming up. It's just like those things are replacing what God has already given us. And it's not biblical. Like it's literally witchcraft. We should not be participating in those things because it is allowing open doors. Even if you do have Jesus in your life, that's great, but you can't be worshiping Jesus, but then also inviting the darkness in. And that's what those things do. It does not matter what your intentions are because my intentions with like

cleansing my home with the sage that I was burning in my house I wasn't like inviting demons in it wasn't like I was trying to cast spells it wasn't like I was trying to practice witchcraft but that is where it originates from that's what it represents so it does not matter how much your heart posture is in a good place the enemy will take that as an invitation and an open door to come in and like

cause turmoil in your life okay but I was burning incense in my home because I was like okay well it's not like I'm burning sage in my house like what's the big dillio and bless Ashley Jones's heart and you know what y'all this is the thing we can't ignore we can't ignore the little gut feeling that we get because there was something in my tummy when I was burning that sage in my house not sage

incense. I was burning that incense in my home and there was a tiny, tiny little voice in my head, which sometimes that do be God. God's not loud. He's not obnoxious. He's not going to come screaming and yelling at you. Sometimes he really is a quiet voice in your head where he's testing if you're going to listen to him, you know? And I heard this little voice in my head that was like, Allie, you should really check the origins of what this is.

You should really check the origins of what this means and what this is. But I ignored it. And I said, well, you know what? I'm just going to make sure that whatever the incense is that I buy, it's not giving like eucalyptus or sage or whatever. I was like, it's vanilla. Like, that's not what I'm saying.

literally the incense that I bought, I'm convicting someone because y'all, I just felt this a couple of weeks ago. I know there are some of y'all that are burning this in your house right now. And you were literally thinking the same thing I was thinking in my head. I said, well, you know what? As long as it's like, I was checking the box to make sure that it was made in the US and it wasn't made like, I don't know. I don't know. But I was like,

Trying to do everything I could to make sure that it wasn't giving like, like there was nothing on it that said create a good aura. Like all those words. Oh my gosh, it's literally witchcraft y'all don't. Giving good aura and vibe. Like getting a peaceful aura around you. Like that's the stuff I was trying to avoid on the boxes, right? So I found a very simple box on Amazon of incense and it was like vanilla scent.

Easy, simple. I was like, hey, this ain't witchcraft. It's just vanilla. So I buy it. It's giving vibes. It's giving, it looks nice. It feels good, right? My home smelled like just vanilla incense. It was giving vibes. It was so good, right? So I had a bunch of my friends over at my house a few weeks ago. Ashley Jones was one of them. She came into town from Virginia and

and it's always so good to see her, and y'all, I'm not even kidding, I'm gonna be so raw, I'm gonna be so for real right now, I'm exposing myself a little bit, but when Ashley Jones walked into my house, and I had that incense burning, because y'all know Ashley Jones, okay, we've been listening to the podcast, we heard her in season two, she's an ex-witch, she was, she was doing this stuff in witchcraft, she was burning the incense, she was doing all that stuff, the sage, the

All of it. And there was a part of me in my head that was like, I really hope that Ashley doesn't say anything about it. Allie, why are you ignoring that voice? Like, I legitimately was like, there was a fear of me in my head that said, because Ashley is the type of friend to be like, sister, this isn't good for you. Like, this is causing, this is causing. And so I like thought that I was like, I pray that Ashley Jones doesn't say something.

And honestly, for like a good hour while I had it burning, she didn't say anything. And so I was like, okay, we're good. Like, we're good. It's not demonic. It's not witchcraft. And so then at one point she was like, can you just burn it out? Like, it's like, it's just strong, which it was strong. I have a small house. So like, really, it was strong. But honestly, it was low key just triggering for her because I think it also was bringing her back to, which makes me feel awful. Actually, I feel really terrible about that. I didn't know though. But I think it was triggering for her because y'all know how some smells are.

bring back memories I mean there are certain smells even certain perfumes colognes whatever that will literally bring you back to like a season of your life like that and so I feel really awful that that probably was what was happening for her in her mind where it was bringing her back

to that season where she was practicing witchcraft and she was in a really dark place so she asked me to burn it out and I was like oh yeah yeah it's fine and then give it another hour and it was just me and her on the couch like everyone else had left because she really wanted to honor me and like not embarrass me in front of everybody but she was like sister I gotta I gotta be so for real for you and the way that my flesh it was my flesh y'all because my soul knew it my soul knew it y'all I was ignoring it like that gut feeling that I had I was ignoring it

And she said, sister, you can't be burning that stuff. And I knew, like, I saw it coming in the way that I got like literally offended, not at her. Like I wasn't mean to her, but the way that I was like,

like can I not have something good I was like can I not just enjoy incense without but it's like it doesn't matter and this is what she told me she said sister it does not matter what your intentions are it's an open door like incense were created to be participated in witchcraft it's not biblical like you're not supposed to be burning this stuff in your house

Y'all, it says during sacred rituals and prayer, incense sticks act as a medium that connects the earthly and divine realms. The burning incense aroma helps in concentrating the mind and uplifting the spirit, bringing about a stronger bond with the divine and increasing the effectiveness of one's prayers. Okay, so this is talking about prayers. That doesn't mean it has to be to God. Like if...

If y'all got discernment, y'all gotta tell me that that sentence did not sit right with you, right? With the divine. And this is the argument that people say is that the rising smoke comes as a symbolism of a person's or a people's prayer rising up to God. Because there are people who argue that incense are biblical because it's quoted in scripture in Psalm 141 where it says, let my prayer come like incense before you. But...

And this is what Ashley Jones actually literally quoted to me. She says, this is where Christians get it wrong. Is it says, let my prayer come like incense before you. Like the aroma that comes before the Lord. Like let my prayers literally be like an aroma or incense to the God. But it doesn't tell us that that's what we're supposed to be doing. And honestly, y'all, just use your personal discernment with this. But...

There was something off that it made me feel about, like, even just simply purchasing it. I'm telling you, that was my discernment. That was the Lord trying to warn me about it. And I'm gonna be for real with y'all, guys. I was really struggling with nightmares, like, violent, like, really not good nightmares, you know?

they were clearly evil they were not sent from the lord and so i i was really trying to rebuke i was trying to pray against it i was trying to even like anoint my home which was working but every so often i would still get these awful awful nightmares to the point where it was like i was like mentally preparing myself that i was going to be getting a nightmare that night and i just kind of accepted i was like well this is just spiritual warfare this just comes with the territory

Which is true, but I do believe that by me burning that in my home and other things, y'all, wait, I actually have to tell you this. I had so many objects in my home that I had no idea were like legitimately giving witchcraft. Like I didn't know. I had crystals in my house that I didn't realize were crystals. We just got to be so careful about the things that we bring and invite into our home because those are literal portals.

to the demonic. But the other thing that Ashley shared with me is like actually how bad incense are for you. Like even just from a health perspective, like not even spiritual, but it is so bad for you. And if you have pets, it's really awful for y'all to breathe. And I have two dogs. And so one of the things to know about incense is that

Bro, they're also just like really not good for you. So I was like...

That was also enough to sell me that I was like, all right, I shouldn't be burning this stuff. But anyway, after that, okay, and then Ashley and I went around my home and I had her look at all the stuff that was in my house. I had like this stone. It was like a triangle stone.

Bro, it's giving illuminati like it was literally giving like evil eye like sketch, but I didn't realize it had gold on the bottom But it was a green stone that I got from target that I got from target Okay, but I was like no it's cute like it's just giving decor and honestly I got it around christmas time in like the christmas decor section So I thought it was giving like christmas tree, but just the stone but also I could like legitimately leave it up all year round because it's cute and I just put it on one of my shelves and

and Ashley was like, yeah, also that thing is absolutely freaking me out. Like that looks, that's not good. And so we just went around my house and like got rid of all the stuff that was just giving sketch. And so I think the best thing you could do is really just ask for that discernment from the Lord of like,

What could be in your house right now that could be an open portal or an open door for the enemy to come in? And so after we did all of that, we prayed over my home. She went to war for me in my bedroom specifically because that's where all the nightmares were going. And I have not had any more bad dreams since.

Crazy stuff, y'all. Crazy stuff. But it's the little things that we don't even realize. And y'all see how lit and on fire I am for the Lord. Like, I love Jesus, but I just didn't know. I didn't know that these things in my home were causing warfare, you know, in my home and in my dreams and just in my everyday.

But anyway, what I wanted to talk about too is just mediums, psychic, all that stuff. I started to touch on that until I got a little sidetracked right now. But the thing that we need to understand, y'all, this is the truth. If you believe in Jesus, if you believe in the Bible, if you believe in the word of God and what he says, y'all, there are no such thing as ghosts.

There are no such thing as ghosts. Our souls do not stay here on earth. They don't. And maybe that's a really hard thing to come into terms with because I know that we like to look for things as signs from, you know, our loved ones and,

you know, we want to still feel like we're connected to them and in a way we still are, absolutely, but you need to know that they are in their next life, like there is no more staying here on earth. When we pass away, this is no longer our home anymore, we go on to our next life in eternity, you know, and so that's the first thing, it's like there is no talking to ghosts or

spirits that are your family members the only option okay if you if you're going to a medium or if you're going to a psychic or if you're going to somebody who speaks to spirits the only option if they are not talking to Jesus directly if they're not talking to God directly if they are not talking to light there is only one other option which is dark okay

Light and dark. There is no in between. There is no middle. There is no, oh, but I met a really sweet ghost. That was a demon, bro. And they be manipulating you. They're making you think that they're a nice ghost. They're making you think that they're a nice spirit. You are literally talking to the demonic.

The other thing that's really awful and manipulative about what demons do and what the darkness does is that, well, they love to manipulate, obviously. They want to get you in your feels because that's the hook to get you to trust them. But let's say you go to a psychic reading and

this psychic is telling you all about your past. They're telling you about all the things that you've done, all the things that you've lived out, all the traditions that you had with family members that were behind closed doors that no other person on planet Earth should know. And so you're going to these things and you're like, okay, but if this isn't accurate and true, how come it is accurate? And the reason it's accurate is because these demons, bro, they've been demoning. They've been lurking. Like they've been...

observing, taking notes, they've been watching. And so I don't say that in a way to like scare you, but I say that in a way to like just open your eyes and say, but that is the reason why they can speak into your past because they were there. They were there. They were watching from afar, from a near wherever, but they were there. And so that's a part that's so awful is they will imitate and impersonate and pretend to be people from your past.

Like even when you go to graveyards, you know, and I, y'all, I used to be so into watching these type of YouTube videos, but I would watch YouTube videos about people who were like born and raised and grew up in haunted houses. And I would love to watch about that stuff and like hear ghost stories and things like that. And the thing is, is like during that season of my life though, I like legitimately couldn't sleep at night because that was simply an open door and an invitation to the darkness just by entertaining it and watching it, you guys.

But I would watch these videos and it'd be like people would go out and they would go to graveyards with these beep boop boppers, you know, and they'd be ghost hunters and they'd be seeking and they'd hear words. And then they'd go on the Internet and they'd research what they learned. Like, let's say they met a little girl who died in a fire and they're given all these details of like what happened to her in her life. And then they go on the Internet and it's true and they find that it's real. And they're like, oh, my gosh, I was talking to this girl. That's not true.

That's literally not true. You were never talking to that little girl. You were talking to a demon who was impersonating her because that demon was there. It was there. That demon literally saw what had happened in that girl's life. And now that's the hook, though. That's the manipulation. That's the getting you in, believing that this stuff is real, getting you so intertwined in it until it's like you're so deep in it and you are in chains to this darkness, y'all. It's manipulative. It's evil. It's gross. I know. It's like...

literally awful. Like, the darkness is so rude. It's just rude. But I say this because it's just like, y'all, we gotta know about these things because we gotta know how to protect ourselves. And the way to protect ourselves is through Jesus, okay? I wanna bring us back down to Earth for a second. If there's anyone who's like, ready to freaking fling into a panic attack right now being like, oh my gosh, demons are watching.

me first off you ain't got nothing to worry about all right they are no more powerful than Jesus so as long as you got your Jesus by your side and you have him prioritized in your life you're spending time with him you're praying to him you're praying scripture out loud by the way you're rebuking you know you're protecting yourself in the name of Jesus y'all you're good

The Lord has defeated death and sin and everything in this world. You have nothing to worry about. The people who do need to worry are the ones who don't know Jesus. But if you know Jesus, sister, you're good. But I just say this because it's so important to be educated on this stuff, y'all, because it's scary. The thing is, is that if you are struggling with coping, like let's say your motive to doing these things is

is wanting to speak to your relatives or talking to somebody who you dearly loved please talk to god about that just do not talk to these psychics and mediums about it just go to the lord about it

he will give you peace. He will give you closure. He will give you everything that you're looking for. The other thing that I want to say is that if anyone is operating in these things and let's say they are a medium or a psychic and they really do do it out of love, like they're like, I just want to help people. Like I want to help people get closure. I want to help people hear from their loved ones. You know, I don't, I don't even

don't even want to say that every person who operates in this and practices these things is an evil person. I just think that the enemy also has them fooled where it's like they don't realize that they're also being tricked. They're being lied to by the enemy because I also can confidently say that anybody who is operating in these things, even if it's you right now, okay, tell me that I'm wrong. You're anxious. You feel heavy. Like you don't have peace.

You are depressed. You feel oppressed. You know, there's something inside.

in your life that's make that feels like a heavy dark cloud and you don't know why you don't know why because you're like but god I'm helping people you know they could even think that they're they're helping people through god where they're like but god I thought I was helping people find closure like why do I feel tortured why do I feel like I can't sleep at night why am I waking up at three in the morning why am I why do I have sleep paralysis you know like why

why am I being tormented in my dreams? Or why do I get these awful, awful thoughts in my head throughout the day? I mean, y'all, that is why. That is why. I'm telling you this because I love you. That is why. Because it's an open door and it's a lie. You've been lied to. You are not operating out of love. You're

you have good intentions, y'all. This is what I mean. Like, this is what wraps us all back to what I was saying is that it doesn't matter what your intentions are. Satan does not care. Like, the demonic doesn't care that your heart is good. Actually, they prefer that so they can corrupt it and, like, cause turmoil in your life, you know, and in other people's lives. So, I just want to say that if you are operating in these things, please throw it all away and

and no longer participate in it. I know it's hard. Maybe it's your livelihood right now. Maybe it's what you're living off of, but the Lord will give you livelihood in a different way and it'll be better and you will be thriving and you will also, most importantly, have peace, bro. You're gonna have peace. Like, you're gonna be able to sleep at night, you know? Like,

Once you get rid of all this stuff and you rebuke these demons and you stop shaking hands with them and you no longer come in agreeance with them and you come in agreeance with Jesus and Jesus only, they have no foothold in your life anymore. They have no authority in your life anymore.

Y'all, it says in Leviticus 19.31, do not turn to mediums or necromanders. Do not seek them out. And so make yourselves unclean by them. I am the Lord your God. So when this scripture says, do not make yourselves unclean by them, it's not that these are dirty people. It's just like their lives are

have demons in it. That's the uncleanliness is like the demonic that's running rampant in their life. So even if that's you who's operating it, even if that's you who's going to these people, y'all do not make yourselves unclean by them. I am the Lord, your God. I am the one who will speak to you.

I am the one who knows all. I am the one that can tell you about your future. I am the one that can give you closure. I am the one that can give you peace. You know what I mean? Like, don't turn to these other things as if they can also give you what only God can give you, y'all. It's also giving idol. If a person turns to mediums and necromanders, I will set my face against that person and will cut him off from among his people. That's Leviticus 26.

Revelation 21.8 reads,

sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portions will be in the lake that burns with the fire and sulfur, which is the second death. Y'all, like this stuff is scary. And the reason why God is like putting these things in the same category as all these awful things is because it's demonic. It's because it deserves to be separated from the Lord. That is not of God.

Deuteronomy 18 10 through 13 says there shall not be found among you anyone who burns his son or his daughter as an offering anyone who practices in divination or tells fortunes or interprets omens or a sorcerer or a charmer or a medium or a necromander or one who inquires of the dead y'all.

For whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord. And because of these abominations, the Lord your God has driven them out before you. You shall be blameless before the Lord your God. So guys, all God is saying here is like, this is not of me. This is not good. This is not light. This is an abomination to the Lord, which means it's just not of his will, y'all. It's a lie from the enemy. And so if you've been practicing this though, just know the Lord is like really excited to bring you back

home, like to bring you back to the truth. That's all it means. Because I also was a person who turned to these types of people and God still welcomed me back. Because the one thing I can stand here and say is like, I was a person who went to these types of people and the Lord still welcomed me with open arms. So you have like, please don't feel afraid that because you're an abomination, like the Lord is just, he loves you, bro. Just come home. Just...

Just just stop going to those things. Stop participating in those things. Lean on the Lord. He'll take care of you. He'll patch up your heart and he'll make things right. He'll give you peace. This is my favorite one. Actually, it's from first John. First John four one says, beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God. For many false prophets have gone out into the world, including Jesus.

including that's the enemy, that's the demonic, that's these false spirits have gone out into the world. So if there is something that honestly, wait, this also goes for the church too. Like if somebody be giving you a word and they're like, this is from the Lord, test that spirit, test every single spirit. Even if somebody tries to prophesy over you and tell you something about your future, because that is very real. People can tell you things from the Lord. But the one thing that you should always do that's really important is prophesy.

You know what I mean? So also just having the discernment that if anyone even tries to speak a word over you biblically, like in the Christian space, right? Maybe they're not necessarily a medium or, you know, a psychic, but they're a prophet.

it, y'all better be praying because unfortunately some of that can be from the flesh. Some of that can be from different spirits that are not sent from God. So be beloved. Do not be fooled. Do not be convinced that every spirit that comes to you is from God. Question it and ask for the discernment and say, God, was that from you? And he will reveal it to you. Like, whoa, he'll show you. You will start to get the discernment and the icky tummy, like

the icky feeling in your tummy when it comes to these things if you ask him for that discernment but I feel like I already had it before I even really truly knew the Lord like even when I did those things I felt really uneasy like there was no peace in those atmospheres I didn't feel good about it the next thing that I really want to touch on y'all which is something that I was also really guilty of before I really started leaning in on Jesus but also just like simply educating myself on these things y'all it's just the thing that

we need to learn from this is like before we start going in on things before we start practicing things and making it a part of our lifestyle we really need to understand the origin and like what it originally served and serves and if it's biblical y'all because I know there are also so many of us Christians sitting here that are also like they have the zodiac compatibility freaking app don't download it on their phone and they're getting their their daily basically it's

it's giving daily verse, but like for your Zodiac sign. Okay. I had all those apps downloaded on my phone. Um, I have a Taurus bull literally tattooed on my arm right here. I identified in a Taurus. I was proud to be a Taurus. And the truth of the matter is none of that is biblical and it's giving idol. It's giving worshiping.

the product of God instead of just worshiping God. It is worshiping the stars and the moon and the sun, which is a creation of the Lord. And we should honestly look at all things that God has created for us and be like, dang, that's beautiful. I love that and admire it and love it. But we should never hold it at a position or a place where it is now serving as a God and it is telling our future and it is predicting things in our life and it is

I mean, identifying. It's giving us identity. That's our only identity is through Christ. So like labeling yourself as a Capricorn or labeling yourself as a Taurus or believing these things is serving an idol or another God. And it's dangerous because it's literally not biblical and it's another open door for the demonic. Sounds stupid.

So literally dramatic, y'all. I know, but can I please just educate you for a second on why God tells us not to participate in these things, where it comes from? So first and foremost, Zodiac, when you say like, so what religion is the Zodiac? Like, where does it come from? The history of the Zodiac is based on the Chinese calendar, which is associated with Chinese astrology and ancient religion. One of the religions that influenced the Zodiac was Taoism, okay?

Okay, T-A-O-I-S-M. So then when you look into what Taoism is, Taoism teaches that all living creatures ought to live in a state of harmony with the universe and the energy found in it. It is the energy that is present now.

in and guiding everything in the universe. Taoism also does not have a God. They don't believe in a God. They just believe in the universe and how everything works in harmony. And I mean, the universe is their God, right? So if you are a Christian right now and you are like, yes, God is my God. Jesus is my savior. He died on the cross for me. God is real. God created everything that we're looking at. We cannot participate in these things because they don't

Have a God. Like this is their God. So as long as we are looking at zodiac signs and astrology and all these things to find identity in, we can't find identity in the thing that God created. We have to find identity in him. It's giving, worshiping the object, but not the creator that made the object. And that's what we were all, that's what I was doing. That's what we're all doing.

And so anything that brings you away from God is just going to be demonic. Like anything that is distracting you or bringing you astray at what the truth is, which is God, he is the one that we need to be seeking for all of these answers that we all need.

Like it really comes down to us wanting answers and wanting to understand. But he is the ultimate source for all of those things. And so if we are going to these other things, it's a distraction when that is sent from the enemy. It's just another distraction to lead you astray and lead you away from the literal truth, which is just God. We just need him. We just, we just need him. We don't need all this other stuff. And I know that like, even in the Christian space, like it's, here's the bow. That's a thing.

is the enemy is also running rampant in our church where he has some of us Christians fooled as well, where no, maybe we're not necessarily like worshiping the enemy. And yeah, maybe we do worship Jesus every day. But if you are also participating in these things,

He ties it off in this bow, making us think that, oh, but this is also worshiping God. Or y'all, another way that the enemy likes to manipulate this in the Christian space is like, okay, but in the Gospel of Matthew, it talks about the three wise kings from the east are inspired by the North Star to travel to Jerusalem. The star that literally led them to baby Jesus when he was born. And that is where they worshiped him and gave him all these gifts. That's Christmas, you know, that's Jesus's birthday. But...

They weren't worshiping the star like that was their God. It was like the Lord spoke to them and said, you need to follow this star, right? Like they felt from God. They were in tune with the spirit where they were like, we need to follow that. Not because that was God, not because that was the thing, but God was using his creation, the northern star as a tool to lead these men to Jesus. That's so different, y'all.

God will use his creation to speak to us. Of course he will. He will use things in this world to whisper to us and talk to us. But it's when we start looking to these things as God, when we start looking to these things as the things that actually give us the answers, is when it becomes scary and when it becomes an idol and when it becomes another form of a God to us. And the other thing is like with zodiac signs, like...

the reason that they're so accurate honestly for a lot of us like I identified so deeply with a Taurus because I was like wait but that's so me if I were to challenge you right now and tell you I need you to look for something like if you're looking to be validated in something you're just gonna find it and honestly I tested this theory because there were a couple zodiac signs that I would read and I'd be like I don't know that kind of sounds like me too you know what I mean but it's like when you're looking for things if you're looking for specific things to validate you in it's just it's

It's just going to click. It's just going to feel accurate. You know what I mean? In Matthew 28, 18, Jesus says, guys, this is coming straight out of the Lord's mouth. He says, all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Note that he says all authority.

Believing in the power and the authority of astrology goes directly against biblical wisdom and scripture clearly states that chasing after false gods is a sin. Matthew 24, 24, 1 Corinthians 8, 6, Exodus 23. There is no biblical evidence that God has given authority to the stars or astrologists. Okay. So Jesus literally says that any and all authority given is

Has been given to me by God. God has not given any authority to the stars. He's given no authority or power to anything tangible here on earth other than through Jesus. So yes, God will use these things as vehicles and tools and things to speak to us, but he hasn't given these things direct authority. Does that make sense?

Let's open up these scriptures actually that they told us here. Matthew 24, 24 reads, Even the elect. That means even believers.

Because the thing is, is like what the enemy does through, you know, our zodiac signs, through astrology, through psychics and mediums, is that they will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive. Y'all, my landlord didn't tell me that every other Saturday, I'm recording this on a Saturday, every other Saturday, these men be coming and mowing the lawn. I've only been here during wintertime. Like now the grass is starting to grow. Can y'all hear it? This is awful timing. This is awful timing.

All right, y'all, we're going to finish this up. But basically, okay, let's get back to the scripture. For false messiahs and false prophets will appear. Okay, they will perform great signs and wonders to deceive. That's the thing that Jesus, this is in red, y'all. This is what Jesus is telling us. They will actually perform signs and wonders to deceive. If possible, even the elect, which means even us.

Like, sure, yeah, they could deceive non-believers, but they actually might even deceive us. So we got to have our guards up, y'all. We got to see this stuff for what it is. Let's look up that other scripture that it said. It said 1 Corinthians 8, 6. Bro, I love both Corinthians. 1

1 Corinthians 8, 6, yet for us, there is but one God, the father from whom all things came and for whom we live. And there is but one Lord Jesus Christ through whom all things came and through whom we live. That's it. God is saying, that's it, y'all. It's just me and Jesus.

It's just our Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. But it's all one. It's God. It's just God. And then Exodus 23. I haven't read Exodus yet, actually. Let's see. Okay, this one's short and sweet. Exodus 23 literally just says, "'You shall have no other gods before me.'"

Y'all, that's the good stuff. That's the good stuff, the word. But I love you guys. I am so grateful for this episode. I really think that and I pray that it gave so much closure.
