In the true crime world, we talk about a lot of cases that have previously been solved. However, we also cover quite a bit of cases that are current and need more eyes and ears on watch to try and bring closure to families, be a voice for justice, or bring victims home. Recently, a new case took the media by storm. Tons of agencies were involved, and it became the most highly talked about case for a few days. Things weren’t seeming to add up, but many people were trying to give the benefit of the doubt and hope for justice.  However, on Wednesday, July, 19th, law enforcement hosted a press conference that had many people wondering how something like this actually happened and why someone would create such an elaborate scene and story. Today's case is the case of Carlee Russell.
