For 13 years, the case of the Long Island serial killer has remained a perplexing and horrifying mystery. It all began when Shannan Gilbert disappeared, leading to the discovery of four other bodies during the subsequent investigation. Police suspected the presence of a serial killer, and this theory gained weight when 7 additional bodies were found close by and under similar circumstances. Rex Heuermann emerged as a person of interest due to his phone numbers and email addresses aligning with the locations where many victims were last seen. Rex Heuermann was arrested on July 13th, 2023, and has pleaded not guilty. Is he really the Long Island Killer? What evidence do the police currently have against him? And if he is indeed the LISK, are there any other victims that have not yet been discovered?
