So why is Trump winning? I mean, the poll, the New York Times poll this week came out, and maybe this will change it with the State of the Union address. So why is Trump winning? They're asking the least informed guy in America, next to Chris Cuomo, is Robert De Niro. I don't know if you remember. I should have that video. I don't. But I showed it to you before. He was on with Brian Steltzler on CNN.

And he said, oh, Trump's the worst thing in the world. I hate him. He's the worst thing. And Brian Stelter actually asked a real question. He goes, what is it specifically about Trump that you like? He said, I don't know. It's just a feeling. He goes, I just don't like him. No, he said he has a feeling. It's just the feelings that I have. Yeah. His feelings. His feelings. Don't want to feel. Here we go.

But Trump was beating him rather soundly. It was quite a warning light. Forty eight to forty three. Also winning way more among women, women than he had before winning outright Latinos. What do you attribute that to? He's got more Latino voters voting for him. He's got women.

What do you say to that? What do you say? It's not like, huh, maybe I'm missing something. Do you think that goes through either of these idiots? They're so close to the answer. So close. Maybe it's us. Maybe it's the system that has let these people down.

I don't know. I just don't want to. I don't know. I think they're all jerks. I just don't want to feel the way I did, and many of us don't. What are you, a groundhog? Don't want to feel the way you did? Did Donald kill your harvest mood? He doesn't know. He just doesn't want to feel the way. That's amazing to be that impassioned.

Why would the majority of Hispanics be okay with it? Why would women be okay with this? I'm not going to ask them. And I'm going to spend zero minutes trying to figure it out.

But I will strongly complain about it. So you're saying that Donald Trump is a monster. You mean a bigger monster than George Bush and Dick Cheney? A bigger monster than Barack Obama, who kicked 5.1 million families out of their houses during the banking crisis while he made sure the bankers got their bonuses? While he gave us a right-wing health care plan was nothing but a giveaway to big insurance and big pharma? I don't know. While he let it play out at DAPL when the protesters were protesting...

oil pipes underneath their land to pollute their water when Barack Obama went on to drop more bombs than George W. Bush? I don't know. I feel it. It's just a feeling. I couldn't tell you. This is projection.

I couldn't tell you why women would vote for Trump. Behind that kind of logic, they want to fuck with people, screw them, because they're unhappy about something. He's such a mean, nasty, hateful person. So when Joe Biden crushed the railroad strike, that was him doing it with shits and giggles. It was all about, oh, fairy tales and chocolate chips. He just means his friends. What are you talking about?

He's talking about people he knows personally. You know the reason why black and brown people are locked up at way higher rates than their population? You think that's because of Donald Trump? That's because of Joe Biden. Who's the bigger monster to black and brown people who are in prisons? That would be Joe Biden. Donald Trump actually passed the STEP Act, which let a lot of those people out of prison.

So this is just a fiction that Robert De Niro invents because he is Donald Trump, just like Cenk Uygur is Donald Trump, just like Keith Olbermann is Donald Trump. They're ego fucking maniacs who project that onto Donald Trump because they can't hate themselves, but they can hate that thing.

In fairness, Trump does seem to know a few more things than De Niro. He certainly does. So here we go.

I never play him as an actor. What? Because I can't see any good in him. He just played a guy that killed natives with poison. He just played a guy that slowly poisoned natives to death to steal their oil money. But I guess there was something good inside that guy. And Al Capone, by the way. Yeah, he was played by me, so that was good. Trump will never be played by me, so there's nothing good in him.

Nothing at all. Nothing redeemable in him. And we have to know Trump coupons and whoever the people are who want to vote for him. And there look like intelligent people around there. Somebody for some reason. It can't be. It cannot be. If he is he wins the election. He you won't be on the show anymore. He'll come look. Why? So if he was he already won an election.

And Donald Trump did not go after his people who were his political enemies. He's going to come after De Niro. He's going to come after Bill Maher's show on HBO. He won't be hosting this show. What do you think is going to happen? And why didn't Donald Trump do it the first time? Donald Trump was already president. He couldn't even get his own vice president to go along with half his shit.

For me, there'll be things that happen that none of us can imagine. Why didn't any of those things happen in his first term? Well, you can't imagine. None of those things, the things that none of us can imagine, why didn't they happen in his first term?

Of people who are Donald Trump, if you're looking at a guy, you want to know who he is in his unconscious, in his shadow. He is Donald Trump. He is the thing that he projects on a Donald Trump, just like Keith Olbermann, just like Cenk Uygur. They the people who are most triggered by him. You can learn a lot about yourself, not by the things you love, but by the things you hate, because all that stuff is inside you.

Take him at his word. I did from the beginning. But now I take him at his word and I always did you didn't why would you have done that? That's what happened. Donald Trump didn't try to he didn't order the military down to the Capitol to stop the counting of the ballots or the certification of the election. He didn't do any of that. That's why they didn't have a real trial for that. That's why they Congress did for show on TV. That's why they're not a legal trial. That's exactly right. That's why they had the January 6th show trial instead of a real trial where they tried Donald Trump for insurrection. Why? Because he didn't do anything.

There wasn't an insurrection. There was a bunch of unarmed people who showed up at the Capitol to protest, and half of them who went into the Capitol got pushed in by the FBI plants and the crowd, and the other half got let in by the cops who were taking selfies with them and leading them around the Capitol. So you'll love to hear this. Oh, he'll never leave office. He'll never concede power. He already did. He already left. He's not president right now. I don't know if you noticed.

He still hasn't admitted he lost the last election. And he advertises that he will go on. He says he's been cheated out of one term, so maybe we should get rid of the only president only gets two terms thing. He's a sociopathic, psychopathic, malignant narcissist.

That is exactly what Robert De Niro actually happens to be. Well, if you were smart, that's what that's exactly what Robert De Niro is. And that's called projection. And if he's if Trump is such a sociopathic psychopath, then why were the Clintons and him such good friends? Right.

Who do you think screwed over workers more, Joe Biden or Donald Trump? Who do you think screwed over black and brown people more, Joe Biden or Donald Trump? Trick question, Obama. The answer to all those questions are Joe Biden. Who do you think screwed over students? Joe Biden. Joe Biden has a 40, 50 year record of screwing over working class people, screwing over minorities, screwing over students, screwing over the elderly, screwing over everybody.

He has got a track record. In fact, he's such a sociopathic liar that he wasn't allowed to run for president. He had to drop out from running for president the first time because he got caught lying so many times over and over and plagiarizing other politicians' speeches that he got humiliated out of the first time he ran for president. Word for word.

He is a dangerous person. And we have to realize, people realize, a lot of this audience, but the people who somehow think he's going to be the answer to their prayers, whatever those are. Did you know that? I don't know. Prayers for you to explode, dude. I don't know anybody who thinks Donald Trump is the answer to their prayers. I certainly don't. They want to watch you cry. I think we have, when it comes to Gaza and Israel, we have the option of the lesser of two genociders because they share the exact same policy.

We're going to let Benjamin Netanyahu and Israel do whatever they want. The only thing is Donald Trump has pledged to end the war in Ukraine. Whether he will or not, I don't know. Hey, why are women voting for him? All he has told them they don't exist for the last four years. Women don't. We don't even know what they are. Yeah, that's how they ever turn. Yeah. Yeah. That's a great point.

And they crushed it. They crushed a union and they crushed a strike. And what were those people going to go on strike for? They were going to go on strike because they didn't have sick pays. The people who run our railroads, the glue that holds capitalism together, they don't take care of those people. And they were going to go on strike just so they could get sick days. And they crushed it. Who did? Joe Biden.

By the way, look what they're doing for the people in East Palestine. Fantastic. But just getting back to that, they crushed that railroad strike. The fact that you can overlook that because they made some appointments on the NLRB that are somehow better is an act of deceit. And that's what she's doing here, right? the people he put in place in key positions have done a great job and they've been aggressive and it's been groundbreaking. It's been a real break from the Clinton Obama Democratic Party and obviously wildly better than, you know, Trump had a bunch of union busters in at that. So if you care about checking corporate power, you should vote for Joe Biden, the biggest corporate whore in the history of politics.

You should vote for Joe Biden. His words, by the way. If you want to. That was. He talked. Oh, I don't know. I should have that video here. So there was a video of him on public television saying, when I started my career, I was ready to prostitute myself to the big money guys. He says that. Come back when you're older. That's a direct quote. Yep.

And so he went on to do just that. He's prostituted himself to the credit card industry, to the banking industry, to the prison industrial complex, to the military industrial complex, to big pharma. There isn't a... To oil. There isn't a corporate...

corporate sector in America that Joe Biden hasn't prostituted himself for and then squashed regular workers and seniors and students and black and brown people. Remember, black and brown people are locked up at much higher rates than their population, not because of Donald Trump, but because of Joe Biden. So also, why can't students get rid of their debt in bankruptcy court? Because of Joe Biden, not Donald Trump.

Why can you have 35% interest on your credit cards? Joe Biden. So let me play one more clip and then let me bring in Russell and Keaton. What do you have to say about this?

Well, first, on the railroad strike, the Railway Labor Act allows the government to impose terms on those contracts, which means Joe Biden, if he were a friend to labor, could have imposed terms that labor wanted. In other words, he could have just given them the six days. But instead, he imposed terms that were favorable to management. Second, the idea that wages are keeping up with prices.

If wages are keeping up with prices – and that's a little bit of a vague term because if you talk about prices in terms of consumer goods, inflation, groceries, you got to figure gas, rent. If wages are actually keeping up with prices, why is credit card debt so high?

Why is that credit card debt so high? The reason Biden had to cap late fees at $8 a month as opposed to like $40 a month is because people are late on their credit card payments. I've been late on many a credit card payment in my day.

I'm not, I wasn't late on them because I forgot to pay it. I was late on them because I didn't have the money to keep up with the interest. So the fact that so many people are late, it's expensive to be poor. It's expensive to be poor. It costs a couple hundred dollars a month in interest.

And so the fact that he had to cut the late fee, he's saving people, what, $30 a month in late fees because they're already paying hundreds of dollars a month in interest. And the reason they are behind on their credit card debt is because it's too expensive to live. So whatever gains labor has made as a result of these NLRB appointments –

which I understand they've made it more difficult for management to post anti-union propaganda as a union vote comes up or something like that. Whatever gains have been made there have obviously not been anywhere near enough to keep up with the cost of being alive. I don't know a single person, not one,

Not a single person who has like the same job now that they had five, six years ago who think it's easier to live now than it was five, six years ago. Not one. Not a single one. It's a little easier for me to live now because I have perfected this right wing grift called YouTube podcasting. So you make a little money on the show now.

But if I was still doing what I did five or six years ago, it would be way harder. Way harder it was until just last year. It was really hard. I used to have to get in the car and drive DoorDash when my wife got home from work to make rent. Like it's fucking harder now than it was five, six years ago. So the – just the gaslighting on this is incredible. Look.

if Bidenomics were so great, he wouldn't be polling at 35 to 40%. His favorability would be higher. Most people don't think about politics that often. Most people's politics are, if I'm doing all right, I'll vote for the president. If I'm not, I'll swap him out for someone else. Like,

if people felt good about their economic situation, he'd be polling at least in the high 40s, if not the mid 50s. The reason he's polling 35 to 40% is because for the average person, the economy sucks.

I could not have had a more New York return to New York if I had planned it for a fake reality show. So I get in a cab with a Lebanese cab driver who immediately starts bitching about everything that's gone wrong in his life under Joe Biden. Immediately. Immediately. I get in the cab. There's a household survey. So if you call, that's, they don't use that. The household survey is you call households, how many people are working, how many people aren't. They count the number of jobs employed, which again is a way to count them that favors the establishment. That's what the unemployment rate would be if they counted it the way it used to be. This is where it is now. The red line is where it is now because that's how they count it now. The news said, look what a great job we're doing. Unemployment is down. It's only by this. It's under 3%.

It's right now at 3%. It peaked at 15%, but now it's down here, but it's actually really here. So I remember during the Great Depression, they said the unemployment during the Great Depression was 25%. So that's actually what we're experiencing right now if they counted it the way they did in 1980, but they don't. So now they're saying, because I always think like there's no way there's only 3% unemployment, right? Yeah, and can I kick in just this one quick-

And so I'm not saying it is 25%. I'm saying it's way higher than the 3%. It's somewhere in between there and 25%. Okay. It is not 3%. So the way they're counting it is bullshit.

And what is this? What is this? Oh, and every time they give the job figures, they have to then rebut. So they come out with the headline. The headline is, oh, we have 500,000 new jobs. Then they have to scale that back. Well, the headline always gets reported, but the scaling back doesn't.

Right? So here we are, January 2023, initial reading, 517,000 new jobs. Then they had to revise it down to 504. Then they revised it down to 472. Most recently, in January of 2024, it was 353,000 jobs. Then it went down to 229,000 jobs. A difference of 124,000 jobs. Oh, we just, ah. Did people quit one of their three jobs? So, and they also, they also cashed in

There's a lot more part-time jobs, right? And so they're getting rid of good full-time jobs to part-time jobs. That's also they count that as not unemployed. There's all kinds of crazy shit the way they count the unemployment rate, which is why you can't...

You can't rely on that, which they do. They tout all that stuff non-skeptically, uncritically. They repeat all those stupid. Well, then you also have to think about like I don't know how they would count gig work, you know, like people who drive Uber and Lyft because they're not employees. They're independent contractors. So depending on how many hours they drive, how do you register that? But the bottom line is as someone who always worked for pretty close to the minimum wage until we started getting YouTube super chats, I always earned pretty close to minimum wage. And I always thought that for that reason, the unemployment rate was kind of a meaningless stat.

Like I said, if they were actually keeping up with cost of living, why are people living so close to the wall to the point where credit card debt is up, homeowner debt up?
