Key Insights

Why did Joe Scarborough have a meltdown on MSNBC during the election coverage?

Scarborough was upset at voters' willingness to support Donald Trump, whom he described as a congenital liar. He spewed a series of lies about Trump, including false claims about Trump's intentions and actions, which he believed would sway voters against him.

What specific lies did Joe Scarborough spread about Donald Trump during his meltdown?

Scarborough falsely claimed that Trump said he was going to assassinate the chairman of the Joint Chiefs for treason, execute Liz Cheney with a firing squad, shut down CBS, be a dictator from day one, terminate the Constitution, and use the army against political opponents.

Why did the panel on MSNBC allow Joe Scarborough to lie about Donald Trump without correction?

The panel members knew Scarborough was lying but did not challenge him. This behavior was likened to propaganda in authoritarian regimes, highlighting the irony of corporate media in the U.S. being the biggest propagators of disinformation.

How did the election results impact Joe Scarborough's perception of the American electorate?

Scarborough expressed frustration and disdain for the electorate, questioning their intelligence and civics knowledge. He implied that voters were ignorant and easily misled, contributing to his meltdown.

What was Joy Reid's explanation for Kamala Harris's loss in the election?

Reid blamed white women voters for not supporting Harris enough, suggesting they did not prioritize gender and reproductive rights over other issues. She did not attribute the loss to Harris's policies or actions.

How did the mood of the country influence the election results according to exit polls?

Exit polls showed a dour mood with 72% of voters dissatisfied or angry, 61% believing America's best days are ahead, and 58% disapproving of Joe Biden's job performance. This dissatisfaction and disapproval likely influenced voters to reject the current administration's candidates.

What was the outcome of the Senate and House elections according to the AP News?

Republicans seized control of the U.S. Senate by flipping Democratic-held seats and holding onto GOP incumbents, achieving a 51-42 lead. The House balance was still uncertain with 81 seats yet to be called, but Republicans led 189 to 165.

medium speeds and jumps the medium and hits them head on it's the jimmy tour show you want to watch msnbc have a meltdown so here's msc msnbc melty here's joe it's basically just uh uh joe scarborough uh lying non-stop because of his meltdown here we go we still have an electorate

70 million plus that will be voting for a man who said he was going to assassinate for treason the chairman of the Joint Chiefs because he didn't support him on January the 6th. OK, that OK. Lie number one. Ding said just in recent days he was going to execute Liz Cheney with a firing squad. OK, even Bill Maher admitted that that was a lie and that you don't if Donald Trump is so horrible, why do you have to lie about him?

And they all just sit there and let him say it. They all know he's lying. Everybody at that panel knows he's lying, including himself. He didn't call for the execution of Liz Cheney. We all know that. He said if she's such a war hawk, she should have to pick up a rifle and go to war, which is guess who else you need to say that hippies hippies say that.

That's right. And every anti-war person in the world says that about a warmonger. Anyway, here we go. I'm guns pointed and shooting at her face. A man who has said that he was going to shut down CBS because he didn't like how they edited an interview. OK, so CBS News should have their license taken away for what they did. They edited an interview with a political nominee.

They did it in a nefarious, evil, phony way. There's words I'm thinking I can't think of. They did it in a deceitful, that's the word. They did it in a very deceitful way. To what? To swing an election. That's what they did. They aired propaganda that they edited themselves to swing an election. If they did that at the behest of Donald Trump, you'd be all screaming about it.

Here we go. Man who said he was going to be a dictator from day one. Okay, that's also not true. So this is just one manufactured fear-mongering lie about Donald. Again, there's lots of ways you could criticize Donald Trump. But if he's so horrible, why do you got to make stuff up?

That's all they did. And people finally saw through it, I think. A man who said he was going to terminate the Constitution, a man who said he was going to use the army and he was going to use the National Guard on his political opponents. Hey, guess who just actually did that? Guess who used the justice system against their political opponents? The Biden and the Democrats. Isn't that wild? They actually did that. The thing that you're afraid that Donald Trump might do, they already did.

I could I literally could go on making up shit all night long about stuff that we wish Donald Trump would say and do. I could make it up and they all know he's making it up as they as well as they prop up and support a person literally committing a literal genocide. No, I use literal twice there.

but they're propping up a person committing hate genocide. You know who isn't currently committing a genocide? Donald Trump. You know who is? Kamala Harris. You know who's committed to doing it in the future? Kamala Harris. Will Trump continue the policy? I don't know. But if he does, then we'll call him out, honestly. We won't make up lies about the person and excuse genocide. If Donald Trump continues genocide, we won't excuse it. And yet you talk to Trump voters and they'll go...

He didn't say that. Wait, now I did. Yeah, he didn't. That's the whole point. He didn't say any of that stuff. Because if he did, you'd show the video or you'd selectively edit it like you did when he said, oh, there's good people on both sides, which was also made up. And when people find out you're making all that stuff up, guess what it does? It makes them never believe you ever again. And then they vote Trump. And then you get to get there and sit there and lie and whine and cry about it all night. That's what's happening.

I would love to go to TYT. Go to TYT and see what's going on. Okay. You say, well, here's the quote, and then they'll go, he didn't mean that. So there is a... There's a panel of people. There's a panel. One, two, three, four, five, six. There's six people sitting there, and they all know he's lying and making stuff up. And not one of them will say anything.

That's all prep that this is like when I was taught Russian media was like when I was a kid. This is what I was taught China media is like in North Korean media is what I was taught. Turns out the biggest propagandists in the world are corporate media in the United States. No wild.

For more long lasting than just Donald Trump, the candidate, there is a sort of Russian embrace of Russia and it's a Russian embrace of what disinformation, a Russian embrace after he just spewed a minute and a half of complete disinformation and lies about his political opponents.

He says the people who actually got it right are embracing Russian disinformation, which is in itself disinformation. Up is down, black is white, in is out. This is 1984. That's George Orwell's 1984 on display right in front of your face. I still know people. I know people who still talk to me. Almost all the people I know in Hollywood think like that. They think that what they're seeing there is the truth. Almost all the people I know in Hollywood, almost all of them,

They think that's the truth. And the people who know better don't say anything. Let's see if there's anything more to this. It's a radical devaluing of truth. Isn't that ironic? The irony there is it just drips from his mouth. The hypocrisy. Everything. And she knows it. Look at her face like, oh, boy.

The valuing of truth. That's what they. Hey, I should show you. You remember when Joe Scarborough said that Joe Biden is at the sharp top of his game, the sharpest he's ever been. And if you don't believe it, F you. This is the guy screaming about people devaluing truth. So in a way, tonight is a real victory because you get to their lies don't work anymore.

That's why it's a victory. Let me see. Someone's, is there someone, who's, so Proposition 36 passed in Chicago. I mean, passed in California. I wanted to show you that. Okay. What about our show? I'll look right now. So we'll talk about Proposition 36 tomorrow on the show. It's sad.

Proposition 36 wants to spend $132,000 imprisoning people who are caught with drugs. $132,000 a year per person. There's a problem in California with fentanyl. The way you fix it isn't imprisoning drug users. That's not how you fix it.

You don't imprison alcoholics. You don't imprison potheads. Why are you going to imprison fentanyl users? Why don't you take that money? You're going to put them in prison and close up the border. That's what I would do. Is there any more to this? The last nine to 10 years and a complete ignorance on civics and what the term Madisonian democracy even means.

So I don't know if you know, I don't think they teach civics anymore. Because if they did, people would revolt. There's only a few states left, right? Step that still teach civics. I think I'm right. Yeah, I think there are. We had that conversation last. What checks and balances even means what judicial review even mean? What does checks and balances mean? Checks and balances mean that a guy who gets elected president cannot become a dictator.

That's what it actually means. That's what checks and balances mean. That's the thing you don't understand or you want to lie about. I think you do understand it, but you lie about it when you say Donald Trump's going to become a dictator. Well, that's what checks and balances mean, that a guy can't become a dictator because we have three equal, co-equal branches of government.

So that no one can become a dictator. You can't have a dictator in America because we have three different separate co-equal branches of government. Unless you think that Donald Trump could obliterate the Senate and obliterate the Congress and the judicial branch, then he could become a dictator. But he can't do that. So all your talk about that was just, oh, I'm sorry, misinformation. And you devaluing truth.

What the rule of law even means. The rule of law means that you don't selectively enforce that law, which is what you did with Donald Trump and the people surrounding him. Steve, again, I didn't vote for Trump. I didn't tell people to vote for Trump. But as I explained to Cornel West, who needed to explain to him that if they can do this to Donald Trump, they could do it to you or Bernie Sanders or anybody who becomes a threat to the establishment, even in a minor way.

And that's what all the lawfare was against Donald Trump. That's why they indicted him 92 times. And it didn't hold up because guess what? We have checks and balances. As a nation, even post-Trump, how do we reach those Americans? Apparently didn't go to civics class.

So I ask a similar question that Joe asks. How do we reach those who watch this TV show, this news network, and think it's real? How do we reach those people who, when they turn on CNN and MSNBC or Fox or read the New York Times or the Washington Post, and they think that's the news?

How do we reach those people? That's been my quest. How do we reach them? I thought you could do it with facts. You can't do it. Look what happened with COVID. Look what happened with Russiagate. Look what happened with the Ukraine war. You can't reach them. So I'm as chagrined as Joe Scarborough is. How do you reach people who watch Joe Scarborough and think that's real? That would be the big. So that's why we have a show, because we're the antidote to this.

Correct me if I'm wrong. Is that Christopher Wray, the head of the FBI? Is that who that is? No, that can't be that. That can't be who he is. Is that the is that Joe John Meacham? Is that who that is? OK, he's looks. Oh, that is that is him. I think that's the New York Times columnist. I'm a presidential historian. This is my biggest regret about Trump. I would love to read that New York Times opinion piece because I bet it's bullshit. In fact, I would I'll bet anything that it is.

Is there any more to his apparently didn't learn the basics of this constitution and have just. So, again, he's he's hating the American electorate. So that's what they do. They teach you how to hate your neighbor. The reason why we're in this is because of the bad people, the dummies, the morons, the idiots who don't know anything. Why don't they listen to me lie? This is really this is what's going on.

Been overwhelmed with this information over the past nine years. Nine years over the past. Can I just tell you, since 2008, the Democrats have been in occupying the White House for 16 of those 20 years. Has it been? Oh, let's see. Two and 10 is 12, 12 and four. So they've been occupying it 12 of the 16 years.

And the reason why Donald Trump got elected in the first place is the same reason he got elected in the second place is because you don't give a shit about workers. You don't give a shit about students or people struggling or anything. As Chuck Schumer said, for every blue collar vote we'll lose, we'll gain two in the white collar suburbs, meaning they're going after suburban Republican voters.

So we have two parties going after suburban Republican voters. And don't be surprised if blue collar voters break for a guy who gives them lip service like Donald Trump. Do you want to hear the litany of lies he just laid out? So you can't really because the thing that's wrong with Donald Trump as a president are the things they actually agree with him on. They agree with denying people Medicare for all.

They agree with us. They were there for screwing over workers, therefore crushing a railroad union strike, therefore putting sanctions on other countries with natural resources that we want to steal. They're for that. So it hasn't. So right now, as I'm speaking, Harris has 210 electoral votes. Trump has 230. So I'm shaking. Don't know what to say, says the president's.

So it looks like everybody. Could you go on Twitter and go to the New York Times feed and see what they say? You got it. Because what I have here is the New York Times is saying that it Trump is going to win. That's what that's why that that meltdown just happened on MSNBC. Yeah.

Six minutes ago, the New York Times reports Republicans have taken control of the Senate after picking up key victories in West Virginia, Ohio and Nebraska. So right now, Republicans take control. Fifty one Republican, 42 Democrats. That's what I'm saying right now. So they have control of the House as of currently. We don't know what the election is going to have, but they now they have control of the White House. And it looks like the White House. Well, with Trump.

But not yet. But not yet. We got it. We got to see. But isn't that remarkable that Joe that Joe Scarborough has to go on such a litany of lies? Let's listen to it again. We still have an electorate, 70 million plus, that will be voting for a man who said he was going to assassinate for treason the chairman of the Joint Chiefs because he didn't support him on January the 6th, who said just in recent days he was going to execute Liz Cheney with a firing squad, nine guns pointed and shooting at her face.

A man who has said that he was going to shut down CBS because he didn't like how they edited an interview. A man who said he was going to be a dictator from day one. A man who said he was going to terminate the Constitution. A man who said he was going to use the army and he was going to use the National Guard on his political opponents. I could I literally could go on all day. And yet you talk to Trump voters and they'll go.

He didn't say that. Wait, now, I didn't hear him. And then you say, well, here's the quote. And then they'll go, he didn't mean that. So there is a there's something far, far more long lasting than just Donald Trump, the candidate. There is a sort of Russian embrace of disinformation, a radical disinformation.

devaluing of truth over the last nine to 10 years and a complete ignorance on civics and what the term Madisonian democracy even means, what checks and balances even means, what judicial review even means, what the rule of law even means. How do we as a nation, even post-Trump,

How do we reach those Americans apparently didn't go to civics class, apparently didn't learn the basics of this constitution and have just been overwhelmed with this information over the past nine years. So there you go. Congratulations to all the people who pushed all the lies about Ukraine, about Russiagate, about COVID, about the lab leak, about Fauci. All lies, all lies.

So Joy Reid knows who's to blame for Kamala losing. It's not Kamala and her policies of genocide.

It's not Kamala and her policies of open borders. It's not Kamala and her policies of not even talking about health care or the minimum wage or her policies of not helping the people in Flint, Michigan get clean water or her policies of abandoning the people in East Palestine, America, or her policies of crushing a union strike. It's not Kamala Harris for sure. You know whose problem it is? I wonder if Joanne Reed...

can find a way to make it a racist statement let's see i bet she can you know it's a state that i think democrats definitely were reaching for there was a lot of work to try to turn out the college campuses which were really thick and really packed and try to turn out the suburbs um and i think there was a lot of hope because of just the insanity can we say fairly of the person who's running for governor in that state and i thought that you know defeating him would also carry harris in uh but

in the end, you know, if they didn't make their numbers and essentially exceed the numbers that Joe Biden had in the suburbs. And I think we have to be blunt about why. Black voters came through for Kamala Harris. Black voters are good. No problem. Who's the bad people? White women voters did not. White women. That is what it appears happened in that state. Let's make it about race.

White women, stupid white women. How about the black woman who's committing a genocide? Does she have any responsibility of this? How about you who didn't pressure her to change her policy? How about that? How about her who crossed a railroad union strike or didn't bring clean water to the people in Flint or help any of the people in East Palestine, America?

is that if you can't flip enough white women, and we've talked about this on this set numerous times, is that you have a state where you've got a six-week abortion or a 12-week abortion. I think theirs might be 12 weeks. But it's a state where women lost their reproductive rights, where there was a very heavy push to get women to focus on not putting in place, you know, re-electing, putting back into the White House the person who was responsible for taking those rights away and restoring them. But that

message obviously was not enough to get enough white women to vote for effing white women. I think I just for the first time realized the irony of them calling it women's reproductive rights. It's actually women's un-reproductive rights. They're not fighting for them to be able to reproduce. You're fighting for them to be able to not reproduce.

I am. Is that wrong? What I'm saying? That's isn't that kind of that just smacked me right in the face when she said that. Oh, the women's reproductive rights. No, they're not reproductive. They have the right to reproduce. Let's just let's be precise with our language. I like. And by the way, they have the right to unproduce up until 12 weeks in North Carolina. So that's three months. So they still have the unproductive rights.

Up until three months. Anyway, she has more to say about white women. Goddamn white women. Vice President Harris, a fellow woman. This will be the second opportunity that white women in this country have to change the way that they interact with the patriarchy. And, you know, God bless Shannon Watts who has tried to have that conversation. But if people aren't receptive to it, and if people vote more, um,

party line or more on race than on gender and on protecting their gender, there's really not much more that you can do but tell people what the risks are and leave it to them to do the right thing. Maybe you should tell her to go out and campaign with the Cheneys more. You don't think that helped? Liz Cheney, who lost in a historic landslide, then went out and campaigned with Kamala Harris. That didn't work, but it's those goddamn white women.

Anyway, I'm not supposed to comment on her. You're not supposed to comment. No, zip it. I'm not commenting. You can't. As a white man. As a white man, I'm not commenting. But she can certainly. Can you imagine going to say, it's the blacks. They're not coming through. The whites are doing great. Just imagine. Imagine if you said something like that.

And they all just sit there and don't say a word. It's amazing. Yeah, you know, you can flip it in any kind of culture and you could say those Mexicans. Freaking Mexicans. Again. But it's not the candidate. It's never the candidate's fault. Isn't that amazing? It's never the candidate's fault. It's not their policy. It wasn't Hillary Clinton's fault. And the fact that she was a warmonger and an enemy of workers.

And an enemy of black and brown people. They passed the crime bill which imprisoned them as they gutted welfare and then exploded the prison population. And then also had a private deal to privatize Social Security and they deregulated Wall Street.

which led to the crash of the economy within 10 years, and black and brown people were hurt the most. They never mentioned that about Hillary Clinton. And here they don't mention anything. It's nothing about the candidate. It is not about... It's the stupid white voters. According to her, Joe Scarborough just says voters.

It's always the voters. And again, when have you ever blamed the voters? That's that's a new thing. Well, since 2016, since 2016, they blame the voters. They never blame the voters before that. As far as I can remember, it was always what what what did the campaign do wrong? What did the party do wrong? What did the candidate do wrong? What should they have done more of?

Now it's always like there's all the nominee has to do is show up. She's black and she's a woman. She's a black woman with a vagina. That's all she needs. You're just supposed to go do that. This is the Democrats and the establishment thinking they own votes. They don't own votes.

You still have to go get them, which is what I've been saying since 2016. Come get my vote. Guess what? They won't do it. They won't do it for people like me. They won't do it for people, Muslims. They won't do it for Hispanics. They lost this. I'm pretty sure they lost to spend 25% of black males voted for Donald Trump. They won't do it for it. They won't come get anyone's votes. The Democrats won't do anything to get your vote. Can I see the clip again? Yeah, let's watch. You know,

It's a state that I think Democrats definitely were reaching for. There was a lot of work to try to turn out the college campuses, which were really thick and really packed, and try to turn out the suburbs. And I think there was a lot of hope because of just the insanity, can we say fairly, of the person who's running for governor in that state. And I thought that defeating him would also carry Harris in.

in the end, you know, if they didn't make their numbers and essentially exceed the numbers that Joe Biden had in the suburbs. And I think we have to be blunt about why, um, black voters came through for Kamala Harris, white women voters did not. Um,

That is what it appears happened in that state, is that if you can't flip enough white women, and we've talked about this on this set numerous times, is that you have a state where you've got a six-week abortion or a 12-week abortion. I think theirs might be 12 weeks. But it's a state where women lost their reproductive rights, where there was a very heavy push to get women to focus

on not putting in place, you know, reelecting, putting back into the White House the person who was responsible for taking those rights away and restoring them. But that message obviously was not enough to get enough white women to vote for Vice President Harris, a fellow woman. This will be the second opportunity

opportunity that white women in this country have to change the way that they interact with the patriarchy. And, you know, God bless Shannon Watts, who has tried to have that conversation. But if people aren't receptive to it and if people vote more, you know, party line or more on race than on gender and on protecting their gender, there's. OK, what? What you just said, she's saying that these people are voting on race and gender.

What? While not protecting their gender. Correct me if I'm wrong, she just contradicted herself about three or four times in one sentence.

She's saying that white women voted their... Wait, let's listen. But if people aren't receptive to it, and if people vote more, you know, party line... So if people... She's saying Republican white women vote party line. That's what she means there. Now she says... ...or more on race than on gender...

Oh, so if they vote for the white person, but then she mixes gender in there. No, if they were voting on gender, they would have voted. White women would have voted for Kamala. So she's contradicting herself there. So she's calling white people. She's saying they're voting on their race. That's what she's saying.

So it couldn't possibly be a class issue. She's not even at all. Couldn't possibly be about class. The people who voted for Barack Obama overwhelmingly twice are now going to go back to voting on race and on protecting their gender. There's really not much more that you can do, but tell people what the risks are and leave it to them to do the right thing.

It's almost like there's nothing else you could do. Well, you could stop funding a genocide. You could stop crushing unions. You could bring clean water to Flint. You could help the people of East Palestine. You could have the people who are wiped out in that hurricane. You could do that. You could help the people who are wiped out in Lahanai. You could, I don't know, bring high speed. You could stop funding that war in Ukraine.

And invest that money back in America. I bet all those things, just one of them would have won you the election. Just one of them. You could do that. Or you could run another neocon puppet of Wall Street and the war machine and then go, oh, stupid whitey. Won't vote for a puppet of Wall Street and the neocon war machine. Must be because they're race.

Wow, that is quite a clip. I have to say that while you were playing the clip, I don't know if you noticed that Ari Melber turns to Stephanie Ruhle at one point and says, oh, what's going on? Did he? Yeah, if you watch it. And then Rachel Maddow has her head down during it. It's a state that I think Democrats don't know what to think. Because they know Joanne Reid's going to go off on some stupid...

and make it about race. Well, watch their body language, I guess. That's what, that's what.

But in the end, you know, if they didn't make their numbers and essentially exceed the numbers that Joe Biden had in the suburbs. And I think we have to be blunt about why black voters came through for Kamala Harris. White women voters did not. Hmm.

That is what it appears happened in that state. That was Rachel Meadow. Is that if you can't sleep enough white women, and we've talked about this on this set a few times, is that you have a state where you've got a six-week abortion or a 12-week abortion. I think theirs might be 12 weeks. But it's a state where women lost their reproductive rights, where there was a very heavy push to get women to focus on not putting in place, you know, re-electing, putting back into the White House, the

person who's responsible for taking those rights away and restoring them. But that message obviously was not enough to get enough white women to vote. You know, Jimmy Dore's going to play this clip, right? We all can pretend like we don't know Jimmy Dore, but that we do know now. What does Kay mean? Kamala. Oh, okay. For Vice President Harris, a fellow woman. This will be the second opportunity that white women in this country have to change. This is the second time white women.

Frickin white women. This is the second time. Rewind it a little bit. She was just not. Oh, she's like, look, she's looking down. Yeah, she will not have any part of this. Oh, yeah, this is not my.

OK, there we go. Crazy joy making it about race again. Women to vote for Vice President Harris, a fellow woman. This will be the second opportunity that white women in this country have. So Joyce, a famous homophobe, hates the gays. At least she didn't blame the gays. At least she didn't blame the gays and blame and then blame her blaming of the gays on the FBI.

Jimmy, is fellow woman a term that you can say? My fellow. My fellow. Hey, fellow woman. Fellow woman. I guess. I guess. Change the way that they interact with the patriarchy. And, you know, God bless Shannon Watts who has tried to have that conversation. God bless Shannon Watts. But if people aren't receptive to it, and if people vote more, you know, party line or more on race than on gender. Out of body experience. All right. She's out of her mind. That's what you get.

That's what you get from MSNBC. So for the first time all night, the New York Times Needle no longer has the election as a toss-up. They now saw Trump has a 65% likelihood to win the election. Leaning Trump. The Needles say Trump. So Trump crushed it in Georgia. Trump crushed it in Florida. And it looks like...

As of right now, it looks like he might win all the swing states. Let me see who's texting me. There you go. Thank you. How am I feeling? People ask me. So it looks like Trump's going to win. He crushed it in Georgia. He took the Hispanic vote. He took 25% of the black vote in Georgia, according to exit polls. Are you kidding me?

Here's what Glenn Greenwald said. The ultimate karmic justice. Election day vote in Dearborn Precinct. Three hundred and thirty two for Trump. Two hundred and ninety three for Jill Stein. Eighty one for Harris. So there you go. All Kamala Harris had to do is say, hey, you know what? I'm going to end the genocide when I'm president. She wouldn't. All she had to do is say, yeah, I'm going to cut off the arms embargo. I'm going to create an arms embargo because what's happening in Gaza is crazy.

And why do I say that? Well, because every international governing body has said that, called the occupation illegal, including. So anyway, so there you go. And I like what this guy says. I went from being told that my third party vote didn't count to being told that it elected the president. It decided the election. So it's 9.11 p.m. Pacific time.

And it looks clear that Donald Trump, it looked that way all day since the voting tabulation started, that he was going to win. And I've been saying that there's no way the deep state will let him win. And now I have to rethink a lot of stuff. So apparently they will let him win. And then I was just told on another stream I was on that they have other ways to control him. Well, they certainly control a lot of what he did the first. They got Mike Pompeo in there. They got Bolton in there.

What happens to Anthony Blinken? Right? So, well, here's what's happening right now. Donald J. Trump is now president of the United States. You know, what I say to people like this is maybe you should have used your power of persuasion

to get them to do something for people to get their vote. They didn't. They just accepted all the garbage that Kamala, just like they accepted Joe Biden's garbage, just like they accepted Hillary Clinton's garbage. They didn't pressure her. I've been saying since 2016, Hillary Clinton, come get my vote. Come get my vote. They won't. They wouldn't go get the Muslims' vote. They wouldn't get working people's vote. They wouldn't get anybody's vote. So maybe you should use your energy for outrage over...

Donald Trump winning, and you should have used it before to pressure them to give us health care, give us a living wage, and stop doing a genocide and end the BS wars. Maybe give us some infrastructure. How about some high-speed rail? For the money we spend on Ukraine, we could have high-speed rail in America. Whatever. Or not.

First time ever anywhere the 45th president of the United States of America, Donald Trump. Okay, I just like, I just, that's just, that's, that's, okay, that's, I didn't invent that meme, somebody else got it. But anyway, so that's what it looks like. It looks like, according to the New York Times and everybody right now, everybody everywhere is saying Donald Trump is our next president. Isn't that interesting?

You had your government. You had your Joe Biden, and people rejected it. You had your Kamala Harris. People rejected it. Isn't that interesting? People rejected the endless wars. Isn't that interesting? People rejected an open border. Although I was just on a stream, and someone was telling me that there wasn't an open border. Boy, I imagine my chagrin to learn that there wasn't an open border.

Because there's only been 10 to 20 million. Are you kidding me? There isn't an open border. I don't know what kind of world you live in where you don't think there's been an open border. So do you want to know how Kamala Harris could have won?

So we know how she lost and we know who, you know, she could have won. Well, here, look at this. Poll shows backing Israel arms embargo would have helped Harrison three swing states across three states. 80% or more of Democrats and independents supported permanent ceasefire and 60% or more disapprove of more weapons to Israel. So Chuck says the only thing that matters and would ever matter is that opposing genocide is the moral position to take.

But a refusal to break with Biden and a decision to continue to support Israel was also strategically indefensible as well. I've had this conversation with people who support Kamala Harris, who call themselves liberal because they're for abortion and trans rights. They're against free speech. They're against bodily autonomy. They're pro-war. So at best, they're a wild mixture of liberal and neocon, authoritarianism and fascists.

They're not a liberal. You can't be for censorship and for pro-war, meaning they go, well, I'm not for war. I'm for Ukraine. No, no. That means you're for the CIA State Department war machine narrative in Ukraine. You've learned nothing from Iraq twice. You learned nothing from 20 years of them lying to you about Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, Yemen, Somalia. You learned nothing.

So you think you think you're anti-war. You're not. You're pro-war because you're going along with the CIA, the State Department, the pro-war media and the war machine. So that's what could have helped Kamala Harris. Polls show backing Israel and arms embargo would help Harrison three swing states. Any updates on the. No. Adam Schiff won. Oh, can you imagine?

Yes, it's California. Glenn Greenwald says, also, unlike the loser Bernie types and the left liberal YouTubers, these Muslim and Arab voters made clear that they will not snap into line for people who spit in their faces and blow up their relatives. Well said. Well said. So it's 942 p.m. Pacific time. And I wouldn't I wouldn't be completely surprised if I woke up tomorrow and Kamala Harris was president.

Because if they're willing to rig elections all over the world, why wouldn't they do it here? But as of right now, it looks like someone made the point to me. I was on another show tonight and a Hasidic Jew actually made the point to me. They go, well, Donald Trump obviously doesn't believe that the deep state controls the elections. Otherwise, why would he be running? And I was like, oh, that's a good point.

Maybe he thinks he'll win in such an overwhelming fashion that they can't steal it. Maybe. Maybe. I don't know. Here's one. Here's the Revolutionary Blackout Network. Imagine being a progressive and throwing away all your credibility supporting genocide only still end up with Trump. Imagine that. They couldn't even stand up against a genocide.

So which goes to show you the Kamala Harris supporters are the moral superior of no one. No one. They would vote for a literal Hitler over Trump because that's what they're doing. There's no more evil leader in the world than Kamala Harris and Joe Biden right now. They're doing a literal genocide. There's no more. No, Victor Orban or Putin or Kim Jong Un or nobody.

There's nobody more evil right now. The evil leader by far, by a long shot in the world, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Benjamin Netanyahu. There's no one comes close to that. Looks like Kamala Harris will not win the South End of Dearborn. That's an area 90 plus Muslim that Biden won with 88 percent of the vote four years ago. Biden won that with 88 percent of the vote.

Almost nine out of 10 people in South Dearborn voted for Biden. And now Kamala Harris looks like she's going to lose it. And Caitlin Johnson said, who's speaking now, bitch? Remember when she was interrupted by pro-Palestinian hecklers and she said, I'm speaking? That's what that's referring to. And if you want to know...

Why the New York Times just said that it looks more likely that Donald Trump is going to become president. If you want to know.

why joe scarborough just had a meltdown on msnbc with a litany of lies about donald trump if you want to know well here's here's why here's why people actually voted the way they did here's here's let's look at the numbers on the mood of the country it's a pretty dour mood in terms of the way people feel things are going in the united states nationally only seven percent of voters say they're in

enthusiastic. 19% say they're satisfied. Look at these numbers. 43% dissatisfied, 29% angry, 72% of the electorate in nationally say they're dissatisfied or angry.

What about America's best days, we ask? Are they in the future or are they in the past? 61% of voters in this election across the country say America's best days are ahead of the country. Six in 10 say so. 34% say the best days are in the past. And finally, President Joe Biden's approval rating, it's at 41% in these early preliminary exit poll findings.

58% of voters in this election across the country nationally disapprove of the way that the incumbent Democratic president is doing his job, Jay. All right. Interesting stuff. David Chalyan, thanks so much. Let's talk about it with our panel and Dana Bash. Boy, that is interesting stuff. That six out of 10 Americans disapprove of the job that the current administration is doing. Hmm. I wonder why they don't vote for more of it. Interesting stuff.

This is early exit poll data, but still looking at this, which really doesn't deviate so much from polling in general. We've seen Joe Biden not popular, most Americans dissatisfied.

One of the questions that I have been asking and looking at since I started covering campaigns is this. Are you satisfied? Are you not satisfied? Right track, wrong track. It is extremely high, the dissatisfied or angry. As David said, if you add those two up, 72%. What we don't know, because this is such a different election, is whether the dissatisfaction or anger will be taken out on Kamala Harris or Donald Trump.

because they are both effectively, you know, Harris is part of the current administration. But Donald Trump and the Trump era is very much upon us. We don't know how that's going to be read. I got to say, I think that's putting the best spin on it. I think when you see current voters saying that by a three to one margin that they are dissatisfied with the country,

Or angry, dissatisfied or angry. I got to say, I think that that's with the present conditions in the country. I mean, in conventional terms, it would be a miracle that Kamala Harris could win with that kind of headwind and also with the president. Remember, she was part of the administration. Biden-Harris administration was 41. She wasn't she wasn't she wasn't past tense part of it. She's current tense.

She's the people in power right now. I know Kamala Harris and Tim Walz tried to run as if they weren't the people in power right now. They're currently the people in power. You can't turn, going to turn the page. You mean from the page you're on? You're on that page. And who guesses on the next page? You would be too.

and approved, 58% disapproved. This isn't even close to the 50%. Let me just finish my point, which is just that if she is able to overcome those numbers and still win this election, then she has done a remarkable job of somehow separating herself that she's part of the solution and not part of the problem. So maybe there'll be some miraculous rigging

That happens and we'll wake up tomorrow and Kamala Harris is the president. That's always possible because in 2020, it all looked like Donald Trump was our president. We woke up the next day. Oh, no, it was Joe Biden. Everybody come see us on tour. We'll be in Columbus, Dayton, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Lexington, Kentucky, Burbank, California, and Honolulu. Go to JimmyDore.com for a link for tickets. So this is from the AP News.

It says, breaking, Republicans win U.S. Senate majority. Seize control of the chamber for the first time in four years. Republicans seize control of the U.S. Senate after flipping seats in Ohio and West Virginia. There it is. Let's see what it looks like. U.S. Senate, there it is, balance of power. Look at that, 51 Republican seats, 42 Democrats. I'm not a math surgeon, but that's only...

Oh, they're waiting for seven seats to be called. So as of right now, this moment, the Republicans have a 51 to 42 lead, but it could go higher because there are still seven seats yet to be called. Balance of power in the House, we don't know. 81 seats still to be called, but right now 189 Republicans to 165 Democrats. But for sure, the Senate's going to be Republican. So we don't know about the House yet. We're still waiting for 81 seats to be called.

The vote's to be tallied. So we're not making that call. But this is according to the AP, 51 Republican seats. So that's at least a majority in the Senate. Republicans now control the Senate. Let's see what it says here. This is from the AP. Republicans seized control of the U.S. Senate.

Shady doings. Am I right, Andrew? Republicans seized control of the U.S. Senate late Tuesday after flipping Democratic-held seats, holding on to GOP incumbents, and wrestling away the majority for the first time in four years at the unexpected battleground of Nebraska.

Pushed Republicans over the top. Incumbent GOP Senator Deb Fischer brushed back a surprisingly strong challenge from the independent newcomer Dan Osborne. That's a baseball term, brushback. Democrats watched their efforts to salvage their slim majority slip out of reach. And here's the last part. In the House, get this, first trans. This is real.

In the House, candidate Sarah McBride. Sarah McBride, a Democratic state lawmaker from Delaware, who is close to the Biden family, won her race, becoming the first openly transgender person elected to Congress. Congratulations, Sarah McBride, huh?

What's still unclear is who will lead the new Republican Senate as longtime leader McConnell prepares to step down from the post. South Dakota Senator John Doon, the number two Republican, and Texas Senator John Cornyn, who previously held the post, are the frontrunners to replace McConnell in a secret ballot election schedule for when senators arrive in Washington next week.

Voters said the economy and immigration were the top issues facing the country. But the future of democracy was also a leading motivator for many Americans casting ballots in the president. So now the question is, what do they mean by the future of democracy? They mean the democracy where the government sitting people in power don't weaponize the Justice Department.

Is that what they mean by democracy? Is that what they mean by free speech? What do they mean by democracy? That's the question I would like to ask those people. When you say democracy was important to you voting, do you mean like the democracy that was taken away from you by the Democratic Party and they took away your bodily autonomy and did forced mandates of experimental medical treatments, which a lot of people say are draconian? I'd be one of them.

You mean that kind of democracy where you get to have bodily autonomy? You mean the kind of democracy where you get to have freedom of speech? You mean that kind of democracy? Is that what they mean by democracy? Where the law sees everyone as equal and there's not selective enforcement of the law? You mean that kind of democracy? I don't know. So I don't know exactly what people mean when they say that democracy wasn't... Maybe some people thought those things. Who knows? ♪

So look, in Texas, Donald Trump was at 49.8%. Kamala Harris, 48.8%. Jill Stein, 0.7%. And Emily tweets out, and this is why you don't vote third party. That's why. That's why. No, this is why the Democrats should try to appeal to voters. You ever think about that?

You ever think about this is why you don't fund a genocide? You ever think about that? You ever think about this is why you don't have an open border and flood the country with undocumented immigrants? This is why you don't prioritize them over your own citizens.

Do you ever think about that? These people like this never think about pressuring their political leaders. They only think about shaming people who won't vote for fascists, which is what Kamala Harris is, a genocider, anti-free speech, anti-bodily autonomy fascist. Here's what Revolutionary Blackout Network said. Liberals already starting their meltdown. We warn you guys about supporting genocide. Cope and seethe.

Yeah. Do you ever think about that? Do you ever think about, hey, maybe this is what you get for supporting a genocide? Do you ever think about that? No, they never do. This is interesting. Listen to what happened in Ohio with Jill Stein. Let's listen to this.

It's election day and the shenanigans have already begun with Ohio's election board claiming that any vote for Jill Stein will not be counted in this election. The reason that they're giving to the public is that the vote for Stein will not count because she dropped out of the race. Now the reason that they're lying, which is illegal, about why they will not be counting votes for Jill Stein is because if you actually review the rule,

that is disallowing Jill Stein's votes from being counted, then you find out there might not be any election at all, at least in Ohio. You see, this story actually came up around September. And this article is from September 27th discussing how Ohio will invalidate votes for 2024 presidential candidate Jill Stein because of the VP swap. See, when Jill Stein first announced, she didn't have a vice presidential nominee, which is normal.

So she put down Anita Rios, the former gubernatorial nominee for the Green Party as a placeholder and made sure that the Board of Elections were aware of that. But as is customary for most parties, the vice presidential nominee was named at the convention for the Green Party on August 17th. So Rio made the Board of Elections aware that she would be taking her name off the ballot as Butch Ware will be the vice presidential nominee for the Green Party. However,

They refused to do this because this deadline of August 12th to replace a vice presidential candidate had already passed. Does anybody see a problem with that? Problem number one,

The Democratic National Convention wasn't until August 19th, only two days after the Green Party National Convention, where Butch Ware was named the vice presidential nominee. In other words, not only did the Democrats not have a vice presidential nominee, but they didn't have a presidential nominee. And quite literally, they had to switch their vice presidential nominee at the last minute because it was supposed to be Kamala Harris.

And the date of August 19th through August 22nd obviously falls well after this deadline of August 12th that Ohio's Board of Election is trying to hold the Green Party to. Interestingly enough, it was only Donald Trump and JD Vance of the Republican Party that was able to have their convention and be nominated by the deadline that Ohio has given. So by Ohio's own rules,

Only Trump can win that state. But rest assured, ladies and gentlemen, as more shenanigans begin to unfold during this election, you will be called a conspiracy theorist. You will be called anti-democratic. You will be called a fascist.

for calling it out despite the fact that the proof, like this particular situation, is right in front of the world for everyone to see. Ladies and gentlemen, we live in a banana republic. Our elections are not legitimate. And outside of maybe some local offices, the only real reason to vote in an election, for accountability's sake, because you need to be able to prove

that your vote and your voice was stolen when the time comes and these candidates begin to sue. And make no mistake about it, I guarantee this election, these candidates will have a lot of reasons to sue the system. So if you do vote, make sure you keep all your receipts because they're going to need them. Yeah, you don't live in a real democracy. Just FYI, FYI. Election engineering, election rigging.
