Always good to hear from you. What's new, Jeff? White guy for Kamala.
Not much, man. Just thought I'd check in with you and the whole gang there and make sure everyone's doing okay. That is such an amazing impression. We're doing very well. Thanks for asking.
Far out, man. That's fucking great to hear. You know, there's so much negative shit out there, you know? Sometimes I feel like I'm fucking going crazy, man. I need some positive fucking energy here sometimes. Boy, do I know how you feel.
Yeah, glad to hear that. You know, I always listen to your show, and it seems like some of these people will call in these political muckety-mucks. You know, I hear that, and you just get so angry, man, and it kills me. Yeah. I want my buddy Jimmy to be in a good mood, you know, not be feeling shitty all the time. Yeah.
Don't worry, I don't feel shitty all the time. I just get very upset when I see the state of politics in this country. Oh, I agree, man. Sometimes I don't think any of these clowns, any of them know what they're doing. So I just think about other stuff. Well, that's great, but I don't have the type of brain that allows me to do that. Oh, I think everyone does. Deep down, I believe everyone has the ability to just think about other shit.
Think about other shit. And we can do that together, you and me. I can show you the way, man. You do know I quit smoking pot, right? Oh, oh, oh. That's cool, man.
But yeah, you don't need drugs to think about other shit. Think about other shit's a state of mind, man. That can be reached, you know, organically. Okay, I'll try it. Far out. So let's say you're mad about something. Uh-huh.
God doesn't want you to be mad. Life is too short for that shit, man. So you think about Mu Dang instead. Mu Dang? Mu Dang, the little baby hippo. God wants you to think about Mu Dang, and that's why she put him on Earth. He's a little baby hippo that's taken the Internet by storm. He lives in a zoo in Thailand or some shit. Okay.
And Jimmy, he's the cutest little goddamn dude in the fucking world. He's always... You ever see this? No. He's always... Oh, you gotta see it, man. He's always running around, biting people on the knee. He screams a lot. And they spray him with a hose and he goes fucking crazy, man. That's okay. It's hilarious. I see.
You gotta look at this little guy. You gotta look him up, man, and he'll brighten your day. Fucking Moodang. Okay, I'll look up Moodang. I'm sure he's adorable, but I don't think I can contemplate a baby hippopotamus long enough to make myself forget what's going on in the world. Oh, come on, man. Are you sure about that? You haven't seen how fat and slippery he is yet. All right, sorry. What else do you got? Uh...
I mean, I think that's all for now. Honestly, I've never dealt with this man. I don't think I've ever vibed with someone who wasn't instantly chilled out by fucking mood day. Well, who are you vibing with? Well, you know, actors. Very wealthy actors. Okay, well, that's great. I'm glad you're all so easily entertained. Have you thought about taking a pot again? Sometimes.
So, all you have to do is think about Mu Dang and you get relaxed. Well, that and Kamala. Oh, God damn it. What? She's amazing. She's just this amazing woman. Yeah. Of fucking color, man. Yeah, okay. What exactly is so amazing about her? Well, I mean...
You know, she's like, you know, she's not Trump. And we've been over this, man. Okay. I may not be getting mad per se, but this call is definitely bumming me out. The world's a mess. Our country's a mess. There's a genocide happening and nothing seems to be getting any better.
I know how you feel, man. Genocide is a bummer. It's a fucking bummer.
But you gotta look on the bright side. I was on a pod... I was on a podcast the other day. And I was talking about how when we made Lebowski, I was convinced it was gonna be this huge movie. You know, the Coen brothers, they had just made Fargo, and that did great. And Lebowski was just as good. And it fucking bombed at the box office, man.
Yeah? And I was fucking bummed out. Just like you and the whole genocide thing. But what I told those podcasters was, you know, guess what happened? It became a cult hit, man. It got super successful on video and DVD and video on demand and DVDs.
DVD on demand, if that was ever a thing. What's your point? My fucking point is that things get better, man. You can't stress about all this shit. So because one of your films, which is one of my all-time favorites, had a delayed success in the late 90s, I should stop stressing about Literal Genocide.
Well, I mean, that's not exactly what I said, but yeah. Okay. Well, that's a very helpful perspective. I'll keep that in mind moving forward, and I'll use it to talk myself off a ledge when I contemplate the state of the world. That's great, man. I'm glad I could help. I was being sarcastic.
Oh, oh, oh, okay. Yeah, I'm not very good at picking up on that. Yeah. That means you meant it, but also kind of didn't mean it, right? Right. Yeah, well, I'm going to go do a J and just not think about shit.
I encourage you to try it. Just think about not thinking about shit. Actually, maybe that's the first exercise. Let me write that down. That might be a real breakthrough, man. Far fucking out. All right, Jimmy. Love you, brother. Talk to you soon. Bye, Steph and Misha.
It's the Jimmy Tore Show.
Hey, come see us live. We're doing our Rumble Time Show, September 27th in Los Angeles. We'll be in Tempe, Arizona, and we'll be in Burbank, California. Go to jimmydore.com for a link for tickets. Okay, we have our special guest on for today. Callie Means is a Stanford and Harvard Business School graduate who co-founded True Medicine, a company built around the idea that food and lifestyle habits like exercise and sleep is medicine. Sounds right-wing.
The company's goal is to make tax-advantaged spending on healthy food and exercise seamless. In the upcoming book, Good Energy, there it is right there. It's out. It is out already, which he co-authored with his sister, Dr. Casey Means. He explores how cellular dysfunction driven by poor dietary choices fuels chronic health issues and offers actionable solutions. Please welcome to the show, Callie Means.
Great to see you, Jimmy. Great to see you. Now, here's what it says at the this is the teaser for the book at the beginning on the jacket. It says, what if depression, anxiety, infertility, insomnia, heart disease, erectile dysfunction, type two diabetes, Alzheimer's, dementia, cancer and many other health conditions that torture and shorten our lives actually have the same root cause?
Our ability to prevent, first of all, what would that root cause be, Callie?
Well, right now, they're all treated as separate issues. If you have those conditions, you're seeing nine different doctors having nine different treatments. My co-author, my sister, Stanford Medical School, top of her class, and had to choose, like all doctors, one of 42 specialties. And, you know, Jimmy, we joke, you know, food, exercise, talking about these things, it sounds kind of simple, but it's radical to the healthcare system. And every single condition you just listed, just clinically, you know,
Is because of our food system, is because kids are so sedentary that 77% of 21-year-olds aren't eligible to join the military, or because of basic environmental factors, RFK, and now President Trump, quite frankly, are talking about. These are actually very simple root causes, but there's a lot of profit and complexity, which me, from a lobbying perspective, having worked for these industries as a lobbyist, my sister as a doctor, are really working to unpack. So-
I know that Alzheimer's wasn't even a thing until the late 70s, right? Like nobody had heard of Alzheimer's all of a sudden. And then a decade later, we start to have an explosion of autism. And are those two things linked? And where did Alzheimer's come from?
There's headlines almost every week now, Jimmy, where it's a new disease and we're hitting an all-time high in 2024. Like this year, in 2024, is the highest rate of cancer in world history, and particularly American history. It's the highest rate of autism in American history. It's the highest rate of autoimmune conditions in American history. It's the highest rate of diabetes, of kidney disease, of heart disease, of everything.
Everything is at an all-time high, particularly among kids. This year, right now. And headline after headline announcing these stats, the New York Times recently said, cancer rates are exploding among kids. Nobody knows why. Ah, yeah.
And, and, you know, I think this is starting to break through. This is, this is not a left right issue. It's, it's a corruption issue. I mean, what Casey and I talk about in the book and we've come to from our different perspectives is that there's a simple economic fact. It's not a conspiracy, just a fact that the medical system is the largest and fastest growing industry in the country. And it makes money when somebody gets sicker earlier on.
And it makes money when disease is siloed. When a kid has high cholesterol and they get a statin, statin rates have doubled in the past five years among high schoolers. A kid has high blood sugar, they get metformin.
Metformin prescription rates have doubled among high schoolers in the last 10 years. When the kid's feeling a little sad, they get an antidepressant. Antidepressants are prescribed like candy among high schoolers. Now Ozempic is actually, according to the American Academy of Pediatrics, the first line recommendation for a 12-year-old who's overweight. Not wait and see. Not try diet. It's...
it's first line defense. So, so what we think what's happened is, is it's almost a spiritual problem when you, when you get to it is that our cells are crying out for help. And, and, and fundamentally what we have is mass cellular dysfunction, you know, caused by our food environment, our sedentary environment, our sleep, kids are getting 10 to two hours less sleep than they did a hundred years ago. I chronic stress. I mean, all kids have a, have a phone, a weapon of mass destruction for chronic stress in their pocket by basic,
you know, societal forces. And instead of talking about the root cause, talking about what I believe is a genocide happening among, particularly among kids, but also adults, life expectancy is plummeting right now in the United States. It's happened well before COVID. No, we lunge for siloed pills. And yeah, what we argue in this book is,
Jimmy is, you know, it's been out for a couple months and it's really resonating. Is the biggest lie in medicine is that it's complicated. And we've got to redefine medicine in terms of this corruption lens very quickly or else we're going to be a big trouble.
Well, you know, I've been reading a blog called The Midwestern Doctor, and the things that I've learned through that blog are kind of mind-blowing. For instance, I was...
I went in to get some eczema on my face taken care of at a dermatology center of Pasadena. I don't know if that's the exact name, but it's something like that. And I had to wait two weeks for an appointment, and I was chagrined to find out I wouldn't be seeing a doctor. I was going to see a nurse.
And then I read this article by the Midwestern doctor that explained that in the 80s, dermatology was the lowest rung of the specialties and the lowest paid. They got together, the Dermatology Association got together with a Madison Avenue advertising firm, and they were told to conflate the kind of skin cancer, which is basal cell carcinoma, which is almost
almost never deadly and combine it with the kind that's almost always deadly, which is mel. So most of the people get basal cell. Most of the people don't get melanoma, which is the deadly kind. And they blamed it on the sun. Well, you do get basal cell from the sun, but you don't get the deadly kind. And so anyway, not that I'm a doctor. I'm just saying the things that I've learned. I learned that the Wall Street equity firms had taken over
had taken over dermatology centers, and now they're putting... So that's why you don't get to see a doctor when you go, because it costs too much money to see a doctor. And that's why they push these Mohs surgeries to take off these basal cells, because you can double bill people. It's a big scam.
And that was the first thing I learned. And I learned a lot of more things than he's got some great things about the vaccine schedule and the COVID and the COVID vaccine. It is just mind blowing to me that it's all driven by money. And now in when Bill Clinton was in 1998, he took the restrictions.
used to be against the law for big pharma to directly advertise to people on television. And they took that out. There's only two countries in the world that allow that. New Zealand and the United States, two countries that pushed the COVID narrative harder than anybody and the big pharma COVID narrative.
And so now our news industry is completely captured. Somewhere around 75% of the advertising revenue budgets for cable news comes from Big Pharma. And Big Pharma is also advertising in medical journals, which is why they're also corrupt. Like the whole thing is corrupted. Am I wrong?
No, a lot to unpack there. But I think, so working for the pharma industry early in my career, it was a simple checklist. What institutions do Americans trust and how do we funnel money to them? So as you said, the pharma advertising to news channels was not seen as a consumer advertising line item.
it was seen as a public affairs line item it wasn't to pay off the news to influence consumers with those goofy ads we knew the consumers are gonna buy those drugs anyway it was to get into the I offices of the editors at the news and influence the news itself it was it was it was without was very clearly this is 12 years ago that was very clear what the purpose of because obviously in talkers talked about this Megan Kelly talked about this people left the system
talk about this very clearly. It's some direct censoring, but it's obviously just self-censoring. When somebody is paying 50 to 70% of your entire budget, paying for your mortgage, you're not going to criticize that. So what happens there? Then we get something like COVID. COVID, in my opinion, was a foodborne illness. COVID was a metabolic disease, dying of COVID, right? We died in the United States multiples times at a higher death rate per capita than people in Japan, multiple times higher death rate per capita than people in Europe.
COVID was a wake-up call that our immune systems in America are under threat. Just as we have multiples higher diabetes rates and obesity rates than Europe and Japan, we died at a higher rate of COVID. So there could have been on the news an exploration of how we have epidemic diabetes rates, epidemic obesity rates. 80% of American adults are overweight or obese. Our bodies are crying out for help, right? 66% of American adults are pre-diabetic. This is unprecedented. And it's very tied to COVID.
But there wasn't the news questioning our metabolic health and calling for Americans to harden up their immune system. It was all about a pharmaceutical intervention, you know, which turned out to be very problematic. The biggest dynamic, though, Jimmy, that that that is really being co-opted, as you alluded to, though, is is is academic research itself.
I mean, I've been reported and I've been very close with RFK and doing whatever I can to help the Trump campaign, also meeting with Democrats. I mean, this is a bipartisan issue. But if you ask me for one policy that could transform American health, that could save
save us trillions of dollars that would just ignite the human capital of our children. It's get corruption out of medical guidelines. Right now, 19 of the top 20, 19 of the 20 USDA nutrition advisors are bought off. They're paid for, they're, they're, uh, they're given money, uh, from the food or the farm industry. What does that get us? That gets us our nutrition guidelines saying that a two year old, that 10% of their diet could be added sugar.
80% of NIH grants go to researchers with conflicts of interest. And the FDA, I think you were talking about this in the show, I mentioned with RFK that it was 50% bought off and they issued a correction. It's 47%, but it's actually 75% of the FDA department that approves drugs is bought off. So if we just have the standards of care
correct, you know, instead of demonizing the sun, instead of literally you have the FDA demonizing non-ultra processed food, they're demonizing the wrong things. They're telling us that the savior is in a pill. We just need the medical guidelines correct. And I think we're going to be okay. People want to be healthy, but we're just getting the wrong guidelines from the top. You know, in fact, you know, you make the point that Americans died at a higher rate than
say Japan, from COVID. And you say it has to do with our metabolic health. And, you know, so what would have actually been helpful is if you got out and exercised, if people got out and got sun, because sun is actually essential for your health. But they've made us afraid of the sun. And so, but if you would eat healthy, make sure you have your vitamin D.
And but what happened was if you did advocated those things, you were called a right winger. They literally they made X health, nutrition and exercise into some kind of alt right kind of thing. It's amazing the control the big pharma has on on on the propaganda machine, which is corporate news. And that's the Washington Post. That's the New York Times. That's MSNBC, CNN, Fox News, all the rest of them. And NPR, by the way, they're just as horrible.
Here's just a brief piece of this article I was reading from the Midwestern doctor's substack, a Midwestern doctor's substack. It's the great Ozempic scam and the safe ways to lose weight, the immense dangers of GLP-1 drugs and the scandalous corruption that led the FDA to push them upon Americans. So
This is a quick summary of the article. In early 2023, a private conference attended by the heads of, by the way, sponsored by Chase, a private conference attended by heads of the pharmaceutical industry and large investors hosted the head of the FDA as its keynote speaker. What that means is they paid him.
They paid the notoriously corrupt head of the FDA. Okay. At that conference, they promised that anti-obesity drugs and Alzheimer's drugs would be the most profitable investment opportunities in the years to come.
Since that time, the FDA has taken numerous questionable actions to push these drugs on the populace. The most popular anti-obesity drug is Ozempic. In the last two years, we've seen a relentless push for it to be given to everyone, including children, which has involved a number of shockingly appalling marketing tactics.
Remarkably, the stampede for Ozempic is almost identical to what happened with Fen-Phen, a wildly popular weight loss drug that was eventually pulled from the market due to it frequently causing severe heart and lung issues.
Like fen-phen, the weight loss from Ozempic is temporary and disappears once the drug is stopped, requiring the patient to become a permanent customer. Worse still, Ozempic has a variety of common and severe side effects due to its
paralyzing the digestive tract. That's from a Midwestern doctor's sub stack. Now, I'm sure you know a lot more about it. I know that that's not even manufactured here in the United States. It's manufactured in Europe where they're not allowed to sell Ozempic. Is that true? It's not the standard of care. So in Scandinavia, in Denmark where the drug is created, if you are dealing with high weight and obesity,
It's not what the insurance and not what the healthcare system gives you. They actually give you a subsidized food as medicine diet and they have their healthcare pay for exercise. You mentioned before my company helps with medical prescriptions to help people get –
you know, medical spending on food and exercise. I was recently talking to the New York Times and they described me as an alternative medicine entrepreneur. I'm like, that's not alternative medicine. That's just literally following the best clinical guidelines that the rest of the world follow. But yeah, in Europe, they don't see obesity as an ozempic deficiency and ozempic costs 10 times less money than they're bilking the US taxpayer for. Ozempic is...
It is in many ways the Rosetta Stone of pharma industry corruption. You can really understand everything. And let me just give a couple more to that fantastic article, by the way.
So what did we have recently? We had 60 Minutes, the number one news program in the United States. They had a doctor on to talk about Ozempic, Dr. Fatima Cody-Stamford, who works at Harvard. She's the lead obesity researcher there. She on 60 Minutes unquestioned said that obesity is genetic. It's, quote, a brain disease and, quote, throw diet and lifestyle out the window for
"Kids must be injected with Ozempic immediately upon gaining weight because lifestyle and diet are failed anti-scientific modalities." She said that. It was an infomercial for Ozempic. You can't make this up, but I'm sure you could predict it. Pharma is the number one spender on 60 Minutes. Before and after that segment, there were pharmaceutical ads.
She then touted research from the American Academy of Pediatrics, which is 90% funded by pharma. And this company from Denmark is one of the largest funders of the American Academy of Pediatrics. They came right out after that 60-minute segment and said, as I mentioned, 12 years old, it's got to be the standard of care. Now they're setting on six years old. So if you're a parent in this country,
and your kid is a little bit overweight, you are gonna be, it's just like COVID, just like a lot of these other things, you're gonna be told you're anti-science if you reject the idea of injecting your kid for life with this shot. Now what's happening?
Ozympic, Novo Nordics, is one of the 10 largest spenders on lobbying in the United States. It's created based on this expectation of US taxpayer subsidies, the 10th largest company in the world, the most valuable company in Europe. It's past LVMH, it's past the fashion company, it's now the most valuable company in Europe based on 90% of their profits coming from the United States, not Europe.
And it's just been a full court press on every single institution. I mean, the cherry on top is that they've actually paid the NAACP and other civil rights groups
to lobby on behalf of Ozempic. And now you have a full court press of civil rights groups saying it's racist. If I'm not joking, I know NAACP is saying this, they're going to Congress and saying it's racist if we don't get Medicaid and Medicare funding for Ozempic, which is $1,600 per patient per month forever.
The calculations at that JP Morgan conference that you mentioned, the reason they're all clapping like seals for this drug and literally to the speech you mentioned, I've had people in that room standing ovation when they talked about the obesity crisis in this drug.
The reason they're clapping like seals is because that's going to be an annuity, $1,600 from the US taxpayer, and the target market is 80% of American adults and 50% of teens. My big question and what I've actually been proposing to members of Congress who support this bill last week when I met with them in person in Washington, DC, is what could you do with that $1,600 per patient?
Where could that money go? I think it's a very interesting debate to ask, what should we be spending $1,600 per month on to address not just the obesity, but the larger chronic disease crisis? And I will tell you, if somebody looks at what's happening in the state of American health and has $1,600 per patient, it would not be jamming everyone with a very ineffective and problematic poison.
It would be solving the root cause, which for starters is not force-feeding ultra-processed crap down our kids' throats. I mean, you could buy a gym membership. You could buy a delivery. Even if you live in a food desert, you could buy delivery. There's companies out there that will send you food that isn't ultra-processed, send it right to your house. Only at your locally owned Big O Tires, the team you trust. Well, I just want to, before I let you go, I want to just make this one point. You talk about...
You say that there's five biomarkers that determine your risk for deadly disease. And you also say how to, in the book, you show how to use inexpensive tools and technology to see inside your body and take action. And then you say why dietary philosophies are designed to confuse us and six lifelong food principles that
you can implement whether you're a carnivore or a vegan. And then you talk about the crucial link between sleep, circadian rhythm, and metabolism. Those are the two things I want to talk to before I let you go. So what are the six lifelong food principles you can implement whether you're a carnivore or a vegan?
Well, can I step back at the highest level and address one other one and then get to those principles, Jimmy? Because I think if there's one point we make in the book and in kind of carnivore, vegan, whatever you're hearing, it should all be about five biomarkers. Like any advice you get from me, from anyone else –
It should be about what is your HDL? What is your triglycerides? What is your blood sugar? What is your blood pressure? And what is your waistline? Those are the five indicators of metabolic dysfunction. They're all essentially under our control.
And you're going to hear so much from so many people. And it's basically organized confusion around whether it should be vegan, whether you should be eating meat, whether you should be doing this. It should all be based on a game every patient is playing to get those five biomarkers under control. And those biomarkers can be gotten significantly under control in a quarter or two. We could have done it during COVID with the mass rallying from the media and from the medical institutions.
And, you know, working with Democrats, also working with RFK now and working on this Make America Healthy Again agenda. We could throw out all chronic disease guidance and shift the United States medical system to optimizing and working with doctors, working with patients to optimize those five biomarkers. And if those are under control,
Right. You, by definition, can't get type two diabetes because that's that's a that's on the range of blood sugar. You have an almost literally almost zero percent chance of getting heart disease.
You have a almost 0% chance of getting Alzheimer's because that is now type 3 diabetes. You have an almost 0% chance of getting kidney disease. You have an almost 0% chance of dying of COVID, right? Almost every single depression, suicide, you are four times less likely to be depressed or suicidal if you're not pre-diabetic or diabetic, which is one of those biomarkers.
So, you know, that's what we should all be gearing towards. And in the book, in the first chapter on the tips,
is being able to read and understand those blood tests. I got on this journey several years ago when I got my blood test, the doctor said, "Totally fine." Went to my sister, my co-author, showed her the test. She's like, "This is a disaster. "You're brewing metabolic dysfunction. "You are gonna die early "if you don't get this under control." I'm like, "Well, they said it was fine. "Go back to the doctor."
I'm like, is this true? They're like, yeah, yeah, yeah. It's really bad, but you're not at a treatable range yet. The way the medical system works is they wait for your cholesterol numbers to get up for a statin. They wait for your blood sugar levels to get up for a drug. You're not treatable. We all have to understand our biomarkers. On food, the high-level principles are truly if you can cut those unholy trinity of three ingredients of –
of highly processed grains, of seed oils, of added sugar. You are 80% of the way there. You are 80% of the way there. And then you've got to hunt for...
things that give our cells energy. You've got to hunt for fermented foods. You've got to hunt for protein. You've got to hunt for antioxidants. You've got to hunt for key nutrients like vitamin D. Ideally, you're matching your nutrient needs with specific information from your blood test, which we go into. But you've got to hunt for what feeds our cells and avoid those three ingredients. And you get a long way there. Look, just real quick, when you say, so when I eat bread now, I eat this Ezekiel bread that's all sprouts or whatever. Yeah.
So I don't eat regular bread. But when you say ultra-processed grains, now, unfortunately, does that include pasta? Okay, so we all hear about how you go to Italy and you lose weight, right, by eating a lot of pasta.
fundamentally ultra processed grains are what's in shelf stable food and the processing is taking the fiber off which makes it shelf stable and i also my personal belief is that our grains in the united states are a huge part of our problem because of the glyphosate and other chemicals which are banned in all other countries so i do think if you're getting back to the natural source back to the natural way things are have been created for thousands of years if you're doing true like
you know, grains that aren't covered in glyphosate, sourdough bread made the way it's been made for generations. I think that's okay. I think in general, our grains, the United States, I think it's becoming clear are highly, highly compromised. But if you're buying bread like that, yeah. I mean, anything that's been how humans have eaten it for generations, I think is okay. I think the chemicals are a real problem. So, yeah. So when I found out
that in the United States, they spray the wheat with the glyphosate. I started ordering my pasta that I make at home. This is during COVID. So I found a distributor here in the United States, Market Hall Foods, and they would get their, I would get pasta from Italy, plus I would get the olive oil from a single source in Italy. Yeah, that's great.
And so I was only eating olive oil, butter, and the pasta that came directly from Italy. And I never felt better. It was amazing. I lost weight. I got in shape. But then, of course, I got the vaccine. I got vaccine injured, which was not good. So, yeah, do you think we will ever get to a place where we get rid of glycophage? I mean, glyphosate they know causes cancer, do they not?
Oh, no, they do. Jimmy, I'm very optimistic, actually. I'm, you know, relatively new to this fight and maybe too idealistic. But, you know, I had a small view into, you know, getting to know RFK and calling him right after Trump was assassinated and then, you know, helping to connect him to President Trump, who I was also advising, you know, informally his campaign and
And I had a small view into their conversations. And just from my small vantage point, I can say like they spoke for hours and hours and hours about glyphosate.
about children's health, about hormone disrupting chemicals in our food. It was like deep conversations about these issues and they bonded over it. And, you know, there's been more discussion of this at that level. You know, meeting with members of Congress, they're very frustrated on this. And what gives me hope is like,
It's so unimpeachable what's happening. And to me, the answers are simple. Get corruption out of the medical guidance. Get a report from the FDA immediately on what glyphosate is doing to our brains, to our cells, to our kids, to our microbiome. That's what they're doing in Europe. The problem is that the food industry is blocking that report because the food industry has completely bought off the USDA. Why is it the Food and Drug Administration?
Why is 50% of the food and drug administration paid for by pharma, who is a simple statement of economic fact, wants us to be sick from toxic food, right? You can decouple the funding for these agencies with the stroke of a pen.
You can reset the purpose of the NIH to not be an R&D lab for pharmaceutical solutions, which it is right now, but back to foundational research. Jimmy, no NIH money right now is going to foundational research about why we're getting sick. None. It's all pharmaceutical R&D.
It's all accepting that we're all being poisoned by glyphosate and then like marginal like Alzheimer's pills instead of actually trying to understand why we're getting Alzheimer's. So you can reset these things quickly. And we're working on executive orders and congressional action. This is just a matter of political courage. It's not really a complicated issue because I think it all revolves in the scientific guidance. I think if we have an unimpeachable report from the FDA on what glyphosate is doing,
Then policy chips can fall where they may. Then people can choose whether they want to go against the scientific consensus that we're poisoning ourselves, basically. You know, on nutrition guidelines, I would recommend just taking France's nutrition guidelines. There are people in France live five years more than people in the United States. They have three times lower rates of diabetes. They have like multiple lower rates of obesity. Are we lazier than the French?
Like are we worse off like no it is our clearly our guidelines and incentives and we should just adopt what they're doing on food until we figure out what's going on because what we have right now is just the I think the vitality of the American people is being snuffed out by corruption which we can fix
Well, it was really encouraging. And I keep making the point over and over that when RFK Jr. gave that speech at the Trump rally in Arizona, it didn't matter if you thought that Trump was sincere about it. What mattered was that there was a stadium, not a room, a stadium full of Republican voters that were cheering on those things that used to be considered Democratic policy values.
And so that's the thing that actually scares the establishment, the oligarchy, is people from the left and the right realizing we agree on more things that we disagree on, and then we come together to fight the oligarchy. So that's why they keep trying to divide us left and right all the time. I agree.
And those terms left and right don't even mean anything anymore, right? And they've weaponized those terms, and everything that the establishment doesn't like is right-wing and alt-right and racist. And so I think people are starting to see through it. I'm trying to do the best I can to help at this show. And I really hope everybody should get a copy of this book. Here it is, Good Energy. And Kaylee Means has been our guest. I really...
Did I say, what did I say? Kaylee? Okay. I'm bad. I get it all the time, Jimmy. Okay. My apologies. But anyway, I really, it's great to finally meet you and talk to you. I follow you on Twitter and I think you're doing great work and the book's fantastic. And is there anything you want to say before I say goodbye?
Jimmy, thank you. You're doing God's work and this is getting out. It's the Uniparty versus the people. I agree. And thank you for all you do. Hey, come see us live. We're doing our Rumble Time Show September 27th in Los Angeles. We'll be in Tempe, Arizona and we'll be in Burbank, California. Go to JimmyDore.com for a link for tickets.
So this was a little disappointing. Immediately after the assassination attempt on President Trump, MSNBC snapped into blaming him for it. It's nice. Well, let's listen. Here's what happened. Yeah. Do you expect there to be calls from within the Trump campaign to do that?
because he's going to reach out to his supporters and say, let's take this down. We do not know, again, the source of any gunshot or gunshots. We don't know who's responsible for this. The whole thing has yet to be 100 percent confirmed from start to finish how this all played out.
But do you expect to hear anything from the Trump campaign about toning down the rhetoric, toning down the violence? Or would that be atypical of the former president? Oh, oh, yeah. Yeah. Hey, by the way, also, what was Trump wearing? Maybe he brought it. Maybe he brought that assassination attempt on himself. Maybe he was wearing something a little too short. Maybe maybe he wasn't wearing underwear.
He goes around like a slut. And then, of course, that's what America's wondering right at that moment. Hey, will Donald Trump tone down the violence being used against him? Obviously. So let's let's.
Well, Alex, remember back to the assassination attempt on President Trump's life and how, you know, there was talk of a new tone. And then the Republican convention was, by Trumpian standards, muted. And it did seem like he was, you know, just trying to take it down a few notches. But then it's.
By the end of his convention speech, you know, we were kind of back to where we started. So I don't know how long this could last. You know, this moment of unity for the country where we come together and we say, I don't want
Any political opposition to be under threat of violence. It's not OK. Any threat of violence, you know, we don't want. I would love for us to have a unity type moment, but I think it's probably going to be pretty fleeting, as we've seen in the past. So by MSNBC standards, unity means completely going along with the mainstream and taking a dump on everybody else outside of that narrow cabal of control. That's it. Yeah.
Even if you can't afford to eat at your home or whatever, probably going through that they couldn't get less of a shit about. Wait till you hear this. So...
So you see that what you hear, what this guy says, this is, of course, Joanne Reed brings this guy on. Well, listen to this. Also to do things, Ellie, that one would think are career ending. The way he desecrated Arlington National Cemetery would be career ending for a normal politician. But his constant lies. But even this piece about saying, well, my building was the tallest until, you know, they brought down the World Trade Center. Now it's a second. I mean, everything he does is despicable. Oh, that is despicable. You mean Trump said that?
That his building was taller than the... That is terrible that he said that. I mean, not as terrible as Dick Cheney being behind 9-11, but still, it's really bad. It's despicable. It's despicable.
And now she throws... Now she's going to throw it over to Toilet Brush Head. And let's hear what he has to say. The reason why it doesn't end his career is because his supporters are just as despicable. All right? Like...
Unity. They're despicable. Despicable. They're despicable. It's like when Daffy Duck, we get his bill shot backwards on his show. Despicable. These are the people. So he's doing the deplorables moment. Half the country are despicable. You know, Donald Trump got more votes than any other incumbent president in history.
And so he's calling half the country despicable. That's what they do. That's the big brain inside toilet brush head right there. Half the country...
Here we go. I mean, everything he does is despicable. The reason why it doesn't end his career is because his supporters are just as despicable. Despicable. Despicable. For a reason. Despicable. By the way, what color is that shirt he's wearing? Is it ham? What is the color? Does this come in ham? Does this shirt come in ham? Does this shirt come in ham?
Like Trump's whole thing, he's a narcissist, right? And so his whole thing is to have a complete lack of compassion and empathy for everybody else. But you just have it for half the country. Yeah. Right? Trump's a narcissist. I'm not a narcissist. Yes. A guy with that haircut who thinks he looks good in ham is not a narcissist. So when you point the finger, you have three pointing back. That's exactly what he's doing.
Anyway, here we go. He's got more to say. He should switch his hair. What's that? Him and Joanne Reed should switch hair. They should switch hair. I just had a great idea, yeah. It's about 9-11. It's all about him, him, him, me, me, me. He's probably the least compassionate president we've had in 200 years since Andrew Jackson.
And it works for him because his supporters are just as ungenerous and have just as little compassion and empathy for others. So when he is seen out there, essentially, as you guys have put it, desecrating our national symbols, when he is seen out there putting himself on the line,
above all else, his supporters also want that to be the case. They want to do that in their own lives. That's how they think of themselves. And that's why it never hurts Trump when he takes these crass and classless actions. It's because his supporters think that being crass and classless is actually kind of cool. Are you kidding? He's actually saying the appeal of Trump correctly at the end of that. So,
So this is the guy trying to say he's not a narcissist. He's compassionate, unlike Trump, as he completely shits on half the country. He's saying all these people think that they're going to rise up, these dirty peasants. Yes. Even though they're classless and crass. They're crass. They're like old Howard Stern and not new Howard Stern. Yes!
And that's why it's important to remind more than half the country by a large measure that they are as despicable as the candidate they've chosen because they're all about unity and lifting people up. Well, there's no way half the country is watching MSNBC or this. But no, but he's referring to. Yeah. If only we could somehow harness the infinite power of hypocrisy, we could open portals to a better world. Call me a dreamer.
Actually, don't call me. I think they did that. They opened a portal to hell is what I think. Here's an actual, this is Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett. Oh, one of my favorites. Listen to what she says. I loved her for Miami Vice, but here she is.
Right now, I feel like MAGA in general, they are threats to us domestically. And we see it time and time again. And I think that's why you see so many national leaders, whether they're Republicans or Democrats, coming together to say there is only one person qualified to be the commander in chief. And that is Kamala Harris. No question. Right now.
Now, I feel like MAGA in general, they are. I feel right now. I feel like MAGA is being a butch body bitch, just like that other butch body bitch who I called a butch body bitch. Remember when she did that?
Right now, I feel like MAGA in general, they are threats to us domestically. And we see it time and time again. And I think that's why you see so many national leaders, whether they're Republicans or Democrats, coming together to say there is only one person qualified to be the commander in chief. And that is Kamala Harris. No question. I want Jen Psaki, everyone on this channel, put in a new Guantanamo on the moon. Yeah.
I don't know. These talking heads, they should form a different union from SAG. They should call it Lag Lying Accomplishments Guild. What do you want? We're striving for better working conditions for media propagandists. When do we want it? Actually, we've already got it. Never mind. So there you go. That's them being better than Trump, calling half the country pieces of shit. That's how they're better than Trump.
Trump, tone down the rhetoric. You're going to get yourself killed. This is Stephen Colbert. And we've talked about this earlier in the show about how the establishment loved Donald Trump until he became president. And then they all turned on him. So here is, I mean, they all look, I mean, the Clintons went to his weddings. Oh, I know. Their friends, their kids are best friends. Yeah. They went, they played golf together. All of them.
In fact, the Clintons encouraged Donald Trump to run for president. Did you know that? No, I did not know that. They were the ones who told Donald Trump he should run. Is that how he knows the Clintons hate the Obamas? I bet that is.
I love how he said at the debate, and you know, Joe Biden hates you. That's where he loses people. I know. But I love it at the same time, but he fucking loses. He talked about the cats. He had to bring the cats in. He didn't need to bring the cats. He's already winning on the border. I know. You all just talk about the border. He brought the fucking cats up. He can't. It's like saying, you know, who else wants to grab fucking America by the pussy at this point? Because I do. You know?
So here, this is a video you're not supposed to see. This is that time when Stephen Colbert, who can't be beaten, there's nobody with bigger Trump derangement syndrome now than Stephen Colbert. But I just want to show you now, we've showed you before that Oprah loved Donald Trump. Oprah loved him. In fact, said that they should run for office together. The View loved Donald Trump. They all said they loved him. And now here's Stephen Colbert, the biggest Trump hater there is,
Watch when Donald Trump was, this is when he was running for president in 2015-16. He was running in the Republican primary and the Democrats loved him because he would go up there and make fun of all the Republicans at the debates. Well, watch this. Watch how much him and his audience love Donald Trump. Also, we've got a great show for you tonight. Donald Trump is here. Everybody loves him. There's no other way to say it. Ladies and gentlemen,
Donald Trump. Thank you so much for being here. Thank you. Speaking of doing a fantastic job, you are setting the world on fire right now. Well, we're having a lot of fun, and I think we're hitting some pretty good issues, Stephen. I want to thank you not only for being here. I want to thank you for running for president. Because I'm not going to say...
I'm not going to say this stuff writes itself. New Hampshire and Iowa, no matter where we go, it seems that the response, it just gets better and better. And the polls have been phenomenal. You see Zogby? Zogby was great. 33% that came out today, right? Zogby, 33%. Incredible. I'm not surprised at all. I'll tell you why. It's because... I'm liking him a lot. No, I'm not. I'm liking you too. I'm liking you too.
I'm not surprised at all because especially in the Republican field because of a country we have to create. Number one, we're going to build a wall. Number two, we're going to. OK, listen to this. Even with your crowd, I hear. No, they love that. We want. They love the wall. People love the wall. Donald Trump. Thank you so much for being here. Don't you feel like he's a Democrat, though, at heart in his in his social. Did you hear Joyce say years ago, but you're socially liberal.
I don't think he cares about abortion the way people, the way the liberals think he does. I think he did that for votes. I think that he had to play ball, but I also think... He had to get a base of support. Giving everything to the states right now couldn't be more important because we're losing sovereignty. I mean, things like the WHO or whatever. Imagine if that did go through. I mean, and it did override state sovereignty, but I feel like state sovereignty actually gives the country back sovereignty.
to the people and he doesn't want to deal with abortion it's not his decision to make and I feel like that was actually a classy move on his point but on his part I can't I'm not even making sense anymore but that's you know and I have a unique opinion about the whole abortion thing but anyway the establishment go ahead so here's what I said
I said the establishment and late night comedians loved Donald Trump for decades. NBC gave him his own network television show for over 10 years and Hollywood gave him Emmy nominations. When he no longer served the establishment, they painted him as Hitler to get you to keep voting for neocon warmongering tools of Wall Street.
America is run by a handful of billionaires and the blob, not by politicians. Your democracy was stolen decades ago and covered up with a nonstop corporate propaganda and the country falls for it hook, line and sinker. We're at the end stage of the republic now. We're bankrupting ourselves and with imperialism war while hollowing out our own country and destroying the middle class.
Yet the corporations can still easily get you to cheer on the destruction of your own country by filling you with hate for a boogeyman named Trump.
And that proves it right there. They love Donald Trump until he actually gained power. Then the establishment told all their bought people, all the late night talk show hosts, all the media, everybody. You got to have get everybody to hate him. And that's all they have now is to run on hate because they ain't doing anything for anybody. I'm going to post that every morning on my on my Instagram page. Just every morning, just a little reminder that.
And I haven't even endorsed anybody, but like people just wake the fuck up. It's unbelievable. If they can, my point is if they can do that to Donald Trump.
They will do that to anybody. And they have been doing that. And that's right. Yeah. I mean, look what's going to happen with Zuckerberg at this point. Look what they did to Cornel West as soon as he announced he was running. They're like, oh, by the way, he owes half a million dollars in back taxes. He didn't pay his child support. This smearing, slandering him left and right.
The undecided vote, too, that was with Bobby and now they're going to decide who they and a lot of them will go both ways. I mean, I think there's more Trump support than people actually realize, because I really I mean, I know that there's a lot of, you know, the media has the loudest voice. So obviously we think that there's, you know, a landslide of Kamala people, but there are not everybody I know, except for the few liberal friends that are hanging on for dear life.
to having a female, someone who still supports abortion. Because seriously, at this point, it seems like the liberal vote, even when you hear liberal men talk about it, it's the snooziest thing I've ever heard. I can't even listen to a man talk about
the reproductive rights of a woman on the left. I understand the people on the right doing it, and this is coming from a liberal woman who, my great-grandmother was the only abortionist in 1950s Harlem. So I have a, you know, I have a lot to say on the matter, but I feel like conservative men, I get it. This is a religious...
argument for you. So you can say whatever you want. But when the liberal men start doing it, and I'm a liberal, it's like, shut the fuck up. Was your wife making you say this? You know what I mean? Are you a cuck? Like, what are you doing? Like, leave the topic. I have to fight for women's, for pro-choice. I mean, it's, anyway. Well, I was told recently that it's not enough to be pro-choice. You have to be literally pro-abortion.
Well, that's what it feels like. And, you know, when I was a kid, I didn't know I had a choice when I when I was pregnant and I've had abortions, you know, but in my family, we were raised to think you get pregnant because I come from a real Italian household. And, you know, my mom broke out of the Italian thing. She became a playwright. She didn't want to be a housewife. She watched her mom get the shit beat out of her by a mafioso dad of hers.
So she was like, you know, oh my God, my 17 year old daughter or however old I was, I think it was also when I was 21. So I,
my kids are pro-lifers you know and I and they didn't hear that from me they took it upon themselves when my daughter went to school and they're handing out hangers at her school and they're telling her that motherhood is forced slavery um and she's like what does this all mean and then she started researching it herself and ate you know third term abortion and it was just like you know and then I don't know if Trump mentioned that also in the debate
But he did mention it, right? Which is a hard because people don't believe that that people don't believe it true. But none of this stuff that they're doing on the left. It's so unbelievable. It's almost like, is that the playbook that it's so unbelievable that no one would ever believe it's true while it's actually happening right in front of us.
I mean, they can go read on the World Economic Forum all day if they want and see that anything we say is not crazy. It's actually happening right there. I mean, they're the ones talking about the fake meat they want to make and the fucking bugs and the you'll own nothing and all the- And genetically modifying mosquitoes. Yeah, the Microsoft mosquito. So when Bill Gates genetically modifies a mosquito to fight some kind of disease and then the mosquito bites you, that's not informed consent. No.
That's them doing a medical experiment on me without my consent. Pure chaos. And as Tucker said, what does chaos equal at this point? It's like satanic. Hey, become a premium member. Go to JimmyDoreComedy.com. Sign up. It's the most affordable premium program in the business.
