Why wouldn't we want to get rid of speech we don't like? Okay, the purpose of you calling was to have a conversation where I didn't get mad. Somehow you've managed to make me even madder than I thought I could be at you. That's really a pretty amazing achievement, I gotta say.

A reporter slams Jake Tapper and Dana Bash for false charge of anti-Semitism against Rashid Tlaib. You're spreading lies. Rashid Tlaib criticized. Here's the story. She criticized the Michigan attorney general, Dana Nessel, for filing charges against pro-Palestinian protesters at the University of Michigan.

So she hadn't.

The comment has been criticized by some, including CNN's Jake Tapper and the Anti-Defamation League, as anti-Semitic. It wasn't. Tapper has also repeatedly claimed that Tlaib accused Nessel of being biased because she is Jewish. So the Attorney General is Jewish...

They're saying that Rashid Tlaib said she's biased because she's Jewish. That's not what she said. So they're making that up so they could call her an anti-Semite. Tlaib did not mention the attorney general's religious beliefs anywhere in the full quote. So let's listen to Jake Tapper. But do you think Attorney General Nassar

Because Congresswoman Tlaib is suggesting that she shouldn't be prosecuting these individuals that Nessel says broke the law and that she's only doing it because she's Jewish. That's not what she said. So that's Jake Tapper spreading misinformation. Is that misinformation or disinformation? I don't know what the difference is. But anyway.

On Monday, the guy who did the interview with Rashid Tlaib, who they're all referring to that she said the anti-Semitic thing, he came out and said, you guys are all lying about this story. I was the reporter.

Fact check, Rashid Tlaib did not say Nassau charged pro-Palestinian protesters because she's Jewish. That's the guy who did the interview. Is it anti-Semitic to point out that someone else is lying about you? Maybe.

She said there is an anti-Palestinian attitude among many institutions and most of them are not run by Jewish people.

Update, 9.20 p.m. On Monday, Jake Tapper clarified on CNN during an interview with Nestle that he misspoke when he characterized Tlaib's comments as anti-Semitic. I was trying to characterize your views of Tlaib's comments, Tapper said, before asking, what do you make of those today noting that Congresswoman Tlaib never explicitly said your bias was because of your religion, and so it's unfair for you to make that allegation? Wow, that took a while. Yeah.

Uh, Dana Bash then says a clarification on the story we brought you yesterday. Okay. A clarification. So when they get caught lying, it's a clarification and they misspoke. That clarification on a story. But when someone else does it, they're peddling lies and misinformation and they should be censored.

So that's Robert Redfield, former CDC director. And I think he knows it's all coming down. That if Trump gets reelected, they're going to have a vaccine panel. They're going to have a COVID panel. They're going to have, it's going to be like the Nuremberg thing.

And he's just getting ahead of the brick wall by suddenly now telling RFK and you were right about everything. And he wrote this article. It's in Newsweek yesterday. Talk of healthcare reform often centers on cost to consumers. So...

No kidding? Why now are you saying all this? Why now? Why a couple of weeks before an election are you saying this now? Why weren't you saying this when you were the head of the CDC?

Where's the book you wrote about this? Oh, you didn't do any of that? Isn't that interesting? To cure our children, we must reevaluate our food choices and the underlying practices of the agricultural sector. We must prioritize wholesome and nutritious food. What, it's weird that when you were ahead of the CDC, you didn't say any of this. Is this all news to you? It took a non-doctor, Bobby Kennedy, to bring it up?

If we do not discover the depth of our corporate capture problem and fix it, we cannot truly address chronic disease in this country. The primary release to the head of the chronic disease guy, the agency is now figuring this out. How old does that guy look? 70. The primary role of these vital agencies is to focus on public good, not corporate interest or personal profit. And most of the public servants working there are eager to do good. It's weird that they don't, though.

Critics say our public health system has failed chronic disease patients, especially children. I must agree. And I'm even more frustrated that it's gotten steadily worse during my career. Really? As parents and grandparents, doctors and good citizens, we must finally do something to end this chronic disease epidemic, which I did nothing about until now, now that Bobby Kennedy is talking about it.

President Trump has pledged, if elected, to establish a panel of top experts working with Kennedy to investigate what is causing the decades-long increase in chronic health problems and childhood diseases. He specifically mentioned autoimmune disorders, autism, obesity, and infertility. In 2019, when we took steps to take on the chronic disease epidemic, we also... Oh, really? You did?

In 2019, he said he took on steps to take on chronic disease. Really? First time hearing of it. We also focused on creating earlier interventions in diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, kidney disease, and more. Really, I'd love to know what those were. In response, Kennedy pledged that within two years, we will watch the chronic disease burden lift dramatically if he's given the tools he needs to make change. I believe him, and I think President Trump will empower him. I support their noble effort to heal our children.

The needless suffering and death can be ended by a Kennedy Commission on Childhood Chronic Diseases. And the vast burden of chronic disease that now demoralizes and bankrupts our nation can disappear. The key is to see the possible and lead our nation to act. Wow. So this guy, Dr. Robert Redfield, former CDC director, is an American virologist at the forefront of AIDS research.

He served as director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from 2018 to 2021. Three years. Okay. I don't see anybody reprinting that article. I don't see anybody covering it. I doubt they will. I doubt anybody will cover this. But we covered it.
