Shownotes Transcript

How we were parented as children is the single greatest influencer of the attachment style we exhibit in our adult relationships.  Since it's how we were parented that affects our attachment style, having this awareness now as parents ourselves is so valuable.

We can’t intervene in a world we can’t see, right? So just by listening to this episode, you’ll start to have a basic awareness and understanding of your attachment style, which can empower you to begin to heal from the hardships of your childhood, which is going to improve your relationships.

In this episode, we’ll discuss the 4 attachment styles and you’re going to resonate with at least one.  Your attachment style isn’t a diagnosis or a label, but rather it’s about gaining an understanding of the reasons why you do the things you do. In identifying the reasons that you have a particular attachment style, you’ll be able to start to heal some of the traumas that led to that style, so you can become more secure and grow deeper and healthier in your relationships.
