Ryan's parents were in a flash flood that nearly claimed their lives. His father had to rescue his mother from a flooded creek, and both nearly drowned. Two hours before the incident, Ryan's uncle, who had been in a coma after a stroke, woke up and said that something was wrong with the world and that Ryan's parents were about to die.
Dylan had a vision where he saw his friend as a shadowy figure, and he felt a strong premonition that his friend was going to die. A month later, it was discovered that his friend had esophageal cancer, and he died within a week.
Rebecca's mother had a strong urge to move inside and a flash vision of a friend bleeding from the cheek. When her mother insisted everyone move inside, a rock thrown from a car hit the friend in the cheek, causing him to bleed heavily.
Rebecca's sister, who was about one and a half years old, repeatedly called out for her grandmother (Tayta) and pointed to a specific spot in the doorframe, insisting that her grandmother was there and wanted to pick her up.
Kayla had a dream where her class was on a train and a girl outside the train was waving. Five months later, her class took a trip to Seward, Alaska, by train, and a girl who had been removed from the school was seen waving outside the train.
Shelly had a dream where her deceased grandmother, who was a teacher, wrote her maiden name on a piece of paper and told her not to forget where she came from. The next day, Shelly learned that her grandfather had passed away, and the name her grandmother wrote was his last name.
David had a vision where his friend slipped and fell down a hill, nearly impaling himself on a branch. When he called his friend later, he learned that his friend had indeed slipped and rolled down a hill but narrowly missed the branch.
Matthew's son, who was a toddler, said, 'Uncle Richard garage and kitchen.' Two days later, Matthew learned that Uncle Richard's house was hit by a car that crashed through the garage and into the kitchen while Uncle Richard was having breakfast.

Learn more at phrma.org slash IPWorksWonders. Good evening and welcome to Monsters Among Us, the Tuesday edition. I'm your guide, Derek Hayes. You know, I had a funny feeling you'd be joining us here this evening. Call it a hunch, call it a guess, or just call it premonition.
The act of predicting small portions of future events. And that's what tonight is all about. Premonition. Now although tonight's calls share the same general theme, they vary wildly in detail and subject matter. And some of them get kind of dark. Just throwing that out there in case this isn't your cup of tea. You might want to skip this one. But if it is, you're in for a real treat tonight.
So if you will, allow me to predict tonight's first caller. I'm seeing a state that begins within him and someone named Ryan. Welcome to the show, Ryan.
Hey, Derek, man. This is Ryan in Missouri. I'm trying to calm down. This literally just happened. It's been storming all day and tornadoes and things like that. And my parents live on the backside of Tom Sock Mountain. And they got some property up there. And my mom was headed back home, literally like bug out woods home. They built a cabin up there. Headed back and there's a creek that runs across there at the bottom of their property. And she has to drive across it.
So apparently my mom drove across it and the water took her vehicle. So the water went to the top of the hood. She was stuck. My father had to come down off the mountain. He's had cancer, so he's kind of frail. Put a ratchet strap across a tree and threw it out to her. She put it on the top of the luggage rack on the SUV. She tried to go across and the tree fell down because it's on the bank. She
She was in the water above her head. My dad, who's, you know, like I said, he's frail and he's just not what he used to be. He got in the water with his boots sucked up to him, couldn't move. And he pulled my mom across the water and both of them were in the water above their heads and they swam and hit the bank. And thank God they made it where both my parents have been dead here about less than an hour ago.
I say this to say that my uncle, my dad's brother, had a stroke this past week and he's been in a coma.
About two hours ago, he woke up and said that there was something wrong with the world and that my mom and dad were about to die. So, and on top of that, me and my wife were pagan, and she lit a protection candle about an hour before this event happened. So I don't know if it was premonition, coincidence, or what, but I don't know if my mom and dad beat death, but for the moment they did.
Yeah.
But that literally just happened. I thought that the first person that had called, other than the family, was Monsters Among Us. So thank you for being an outlet, Derrick. I think for all of us that call in, you're an outlet for us. So thank you. - Thank you, Ryan. Holy . Talk about a brush with death. Now flash floods are no joke and they can happen so quickly. And believe it or not, it's a huge fear that I have while we're out messing around in the desert.
because a storm some 60 miles away can easily affect you. Now first off, let me just say that I'm glad to hear that both of your parents are safe, Ryan. Somehow. And second, it sounds like your family has had a string of bad luck. And for that, I am sorry. Maybe you ought to keep that candle lit just a little bit longer. And most importantly, the prediction by the uncle. What did he learn in his coma? And if he was fed information...
Why didn't the prediction come true? He said they would die, but they ended up narrowly escaping death. Of course, we don't have any answers here. If we did, these wouldn't be mysteries. But if you like what you hear, I have a whole heap of it here for you tonight. So don't go anywhere. I'll be right back with more Wild Premonitions.

Now what about cases where a prediction of death actually comes true? Well Dylan out of Georgia has had just such an experience. Hi Derek, it's Dylan again from Georgia. This is kind of one I've kept to myself for a little while and it's always kind of bothered me at the same time. In around 2018 I was living with a roommate.
My roommate had a cousin who got very sick. Nobody exactly knew what was wrong with him at the time, so we'd go over and help take care of him with his aunt, you know, just normal things like keep him company, maybe break up some supplies. He couldn't keep food down, you know, the usual. But one day we're sitting and, you know, talking with him. It's late at night. I don't know how to explain it other than my eyes kind of glazed over or, you know, you just kind of zone out for a minute. And I'm staring at him when I zone out.
And all of a sudden, the only thing I could describe is his entire body, or he himself, was also this shadow person, shadow entity. And I was zoned out. I was a little terrified, and then I snapped back and realized what I was seeing, and I was terrified. And when I snapped back, everybody saw me jump, and said, are you okay? And I just said, oh, it was just a cold shiver. But for some reason, when I was staring at his body in this black silhouette of himself...
I knew he was gonna die. Don't know how, don't know why, I just knew he was. Fast forward about a month later, found out he had esophageal cancer. And within a week, I was sitting in his hospital room as he died. That's really it. It was just crazy. I don't know, it's always bothered me. And I'd seen shadow people growing up.
But I've never seen that happen. And I've never heard of that happening. So maybe if somebody out there has had that happen, they can call in or, you know, enlighten me on it. Anyway, thank you so much. Love the podcast. I listen to it every day on the way to work as well as on the way back from work. Thanks. See ya. Thank you, Dylan. And I'm sorry for your loss. Now let's break this down a bit. Was this just an educated guess?
that Dylan's brain came up with after zoning out staring at his friend's failing body? Or was this a true prediction? Was Dylan sent a message with information that Dylan wasn't previously privy to? Information that turned out to be correct? Or is there something else entirely going on here? However you want to explain it, we can't thank you enough Dylan for sharing the events here with us.

Now this next entry is yet another brush with death. In fact, you'll quickly notice that this episode is full of stories like that. Well, Rebecca from Australia, welcome to tonight's program. Hi Derek, this is Rebecca from Australia. It's me here to tell you about some strange things that have happened in my family. So I guess it all starts with my mum.
So my mom has always been, I guess you'd call it sensitive. I was never 100% sure if I believed her through my childhood, but she's always claimed to be a little bit sensitive to, I guess, the paranormal. She used to tell us a story about when she was a teenager. She was with her older brothers and their friends, and they were standing on the porch of their house chatting one afternoon.
when she got this distinct urge to go inside. She told her brothers and friends that she wanted everybody to move inside and of course they were teenagers and so they basically told her to shut up and ignored her. Then she says she got this flash in her head of one of their friends, a particular friend, bleeding from the cheek and she kind of felt really scared and went, "No, no, we need to go inside everybody. Come on, let's go."
And of course, teenage boys, they ignored her. So my mother went inside and kind of waited because she thought that something was going to happen. And wouldn't you know it, a few minutes later, somebody threw a tiny rock from a car and it managed to hit this friend that my mother had been speaking to right in the cheek. And his cheek started gushing blood from this tiny sharp rock that had been thrown at him.
And obviously this was exactly what my mother had seen prior. So that's always been one of her favorite stories to tell. There's another story about my sister, my grandmother. So my dad's mum died when I was very young. My sister is a couple of years younger than me. So my sister was about, I think, one and a half or two when my grandmother died.
So my grandmother died and very shortly afterward we were all at her house where my grandfather still lived and the adults were milling around tidying from what I remember. My memories of this are pretty messy seeing as I was only about four or five when this happened but I do remember all the adults milling around sort of in the kitchen and
And my sister and I would play in my grandmother's bedroom because she had a lot of sort of little perfumes and jewellery and things. And we, being little girls, thought they were the fanciest things ever. We loved them. We loved hanging out in her room. So we were in our grandparents' bedroom. And...
My auntie walks in. So my aunt was my dad's sister, so my grandparents' daughter. She walked into the bedroom and sort of started hanging out with us. My sister, being a pretty small toddler at this point, wasn't completely capable of speaking in full sentences but could say quite a lot of words. So my sister loved my grandma.
obviously wasn't old enough to understand what had happened and that she was gone, but knew she wasn't in the room with us. So my sister hops down off of my grandmother's bed where we've been sitting with my aunt and took a few steps toward the doorway, lifted her arms up and said, Tater up. Tater is the Arabic word for grandma. That's what we always called her, Tater. So she turned around and said, Tater up. And my aunt said,
Something to the effect of, "No, honey, she's not here," or, "Tayta's not here." My sister turned around and went, "No, Tayta. Tayta, pick me up." I lifted her arms up and was staring at this really particular place in the doorframe. I couldn't see anything. I remember that very, very clearly. My aunt obviously couldn't see anything either because she stood up, picked my sister up, and my sister started crying.
My aunt was trying to reason with this toddler and just kind of said, you know, honey, Teta's not here. Teta can't pick you up. My sister was absolutely insistent while staring at this one particular spot that Teta was there and she wanted Teta to pick her up. After my grandma passed away, my mom used to tell us sometimes as well about how she would be in bed with my dad and she would see Teta sitting on the end of their bed, not saying anything.
Not doing anything. Just sitting there. Then there's another story. I wanted to tell you about some strange, I guess, apparitions that have come to me in a dream. So this happened a few years ago when my best friend and I shared a house together. I had never met her family. She's from New Zealand. She'd been here for quite a while, but her family had never come over, so I'd never met them. She has a bunch of older brothers and her mum.
So one night she was asleep in her bedroom, I was asleep in mine and I had this kind of, I guess it was a dream but it didn't feel like a dream. So in this dream I turned to my doorway which was, my door was open and I never leave my door open to sleep because I'm one of those paranoid people that can't sleep with things open.
So I turned around to my door, the door was open and in the doorway stood this huge outline sort of shadow of a man. And as I said, I never met my best friend's family, but in this dream I just knew that this man was my best friend's older brother.
He had no face. He had no real features. He was just this huge outline of a man. And in the dream, this figure was saying to me, not out loud, but I guess communicating with me over and over, I just want to make sure she's okay. I just came to see if she's okay. I just want to make sure that she's all right. And I knew that he was talking about my best friend, my housemate.
I had no idea what this was about. My best friend was fine. I thought everything was okay. And so I kind of told her about it in the morning when I woke up and shook it off because it felt good. It felt really nice. It felt like somebody was coming to check up on her. Obviously, I love her. She's my best friend. She was my housemate at the time. We were really, really close. And I kind of felt reassured by it, even though I had no idea who or what this thing was.
I had this overwhelming feeling that it was her brother and he was there to make sure that she was safe and sort of by extension that I was safe. So it wasn't but a few weeks later that again we were in our house, we were asleep in our respective bedroom and this almighty crash comes down. It had been raining, torrential rain for days on end.
And we lived in this house in the suburbs and there was sort of a big property at the back of it with quite a lot of large old trees. So in the middle of the night, this massive crash comes down. Two minutes later, my best friend busts into my bedroom with a baseball bat in hand in her underwear, wild eyed, just going, oh my God, something's happened to the house. And I sleepily turned around and went, you know, it's just the cat knocking something out as I go back to sleep. And she went, no, no, no, no, that was too loud to be the cat. You have to come and look at the house with me.
So I got up, I followed her to the back of the house. She still had her baseball bat in hand. And get to the kitchen at the back of the house and I just stare because I'm so confused. I can't process what's happened. I can't process what I'm seeing. I'm still half asleep for some reason. And my best friend turns to me and just goes, the back of the house is gone. It took me a minute to realise that she was absolutely right.
So the torrential rain had caused one of the trees in the property backing onto ours to fall over. And it had fallen directly onto our house. It had collapsed the back half of our house. The back half of our house from sort of... So the two bedrooms were at the front of the house. The rest of the house was past that point. Everything passed...
our bedrooms and sort of the entrance to the kitchen was gone. It was collapsed. There was water pouring in from the broken pipes in the roof. It was still torrentially raining. It was about three o'clock in the morning and our house was absolutely crushed. If our bedrooms had been at the back of the house or if either of us had been up and awake and in the back part of the house for any reason, we would have been crushed and very seriously hurt if not killed.
So I can't help but feel like maybe the apparition that I saw was some sort of, I guess not premonition because it didn't tell me what was going on, but some sort of preemptive checkup on my friend. And I guess I, by extension. That's it. Thank you. Love your podcast. Bye. Thank you, Rebecca. I bet I'm not the only one to think this, but I hope the cat was okay. And believe it or not, you just touched on one of my biggest fears.
There are three huge ponderosa pines just outside of our bedroom window. And one of those things is at least four feet across. And it gets pretty windy up here in the mountains. So my fear is that some night, while we're sleeping, one of those giants will crash down on top of us. It's to the point where if it's windy enough, I sleep on the couch that night. Sarah doesn't seem to be fazed. But I've spoken with my neighbor about taking these trees down.
So that might be in the cards here coming up. I hate to see good trees cut down, but I'd also hate to be squished as well. But you know, to have that happen and to take out half of the house, that's terrifying. And all great stories, Rebecca, including the bonus to Ghost Tale. So we thank you again for sharing the call here with us. Locking in. Looks like they shut down all...

Joe Burrow stuff is real. Imprisoned in solitary confinement. They have their issues too. There's always issues on TV. Now you know there's probably nothing more frustrating than having a premonition and not even knowing about it. Especially if that premonition could have saved thousands of lives. Allow me to introduce Brianna out of Idaho.
Hi, Derek. My name is Brianna and I am from Idaho. I'm calling in regards to the episode that kind of having weird premonitions on the EU over just before of 9-11. This has always kind of stuck with me and I thought I'd share it.
So I was a sophomore in high school, and I did color guard, so the flags with the band during, like, the halftime show for a football game. So we had zero hours, so we had to go super early in the morning. But I remember the night before, so September 10th, I was laying in bed, and it was kind of late at night, but a plane flew overhead. And I don't live super close to an airport, but...
It was very low. And it was low enough that it was shaking the shelves and a bunch of weird stuff in my room. And it just made me think, God,
gosh, how weird it would be if a plane hit a building. Like I had never heard of that before. And for some reason, I really kept thinking about how scary it would be if a plane hit a building because it was rattling my house and it kind of freaked me out. And then I go to school the next day and
I have practice like normal and we're in the locker room and I hear girls just crying and, you know, being from Idaho and, you know, we barely have internet. I didn't understand what the Twin Towers were. I didn't really understand what that was. Then they explained it and I just sat there on the bench and thought how weird it was that I had had such a
Thank you, Brianna. Now don't be too hard on yourself here. There was no way you could have made that correlation.
Especially since you didn't even know what the Twin Towers were. So no matter what, this certainly isn't on you. And you know, I don't normally play clips here on the Tuesday episode, but I don't know that I'll ever get another opportunity to bring this up. So I'm gonna take it. Now legend says that Brianna isn't the only one to predict the disastrous events of September the 11th, 2001.
In the 1550s and 60s, a French astrologer, apothecary, physician, and reputed seer also boldly predicted the fall of the Twin Towers. The prophet Michel Nostradamus. And this is what he wrote nearly 500 years ago. Now keep in mind that Nostradamus' work was originally written in Middle French, then later translated to English.
That sounds scary, doesn't it?
Steel birds, the sky will burn at 45 degrees. Rivers will flow with blood. Now many Nostradamus followers claim he is talking about the fall of the Twin Towers here back in 2001. And sure, it sounds eerily similar. But what most of us don't realize is that it's all in the translation. To prove my point, the following clip contains an alternate translation made by author and Nostradamus expert Peter LeMageurais.
The Twin Towers attack is a recent example of the writings of Michel Nostradamus being linked to modern events. What amazed me was how quick something like England's Daily Mail was in associating Nostradamus with having predicted the event. There were two Nostradamus verses that were commonly quoted about the Twin Towers disaster.
Perhaps the main one was the 97th verse of century 6. I have translated it as: "Latitude 45, the sky shall burn. To great new city shall the fire draw nigh. With vehemence the flames shall spread and churn, when with the Normans they conclusions try." It doesn't exactly pack the same punch, does it?
Now Le Majere goes on to explain that he thinks this Quantrain is about the Italian city of Naples and the 1139 AD attack on it by the invading Normans. Essentially writing down events that happened some 300 years ago for him and just hoping that history will repeat itself. Now you need to watch the entire clip to get the full context and the link is over in the show notes.
But I will say that I was never a big believer in Nostradamus. Despite the fact that the dude made at least one appearance on every single 80s and 90s paranormal television program. So it makes sense to find out that his works are more like a Rorschach test than they are any sort of prediction. But I digress. And I certainly don't mean to imply that Premonition isn't real. Because I very much believe that it is. After all, how else would you describe the insightful dream that Kayla had?
Here is her entry from the state of Wisconsin. Hi Derek, my name is Kayla. I'm currently in Wisconsin, but I am from Alaska. And this isn't really supernatural or cryptid based at all. It's more of this, I guess, paranormal, I guess. Throughout my life I've had dreams, two of which specifically, that...
Happened around the month of September. And then five months afterwards, it comes to pass. Oh, I learn of it. For example, 2005, fifth grade, and had a dream that...
My whole class was on the Alaska train, and we were going by our school, and there was a girl outside who wasn't our class but was outside of this train just waving. Didn't think anything of it. At that time, I was keeping a dream journal. I just wrote down everything. And...
Those months pass, and our teacher, right after Valentine's Day, tells us, hey, we have a surprise for you. We've been working on this for a while. We're all going to take a class trip to Seward, Alaska. And we're going to bus it down and then take a train back. I was super excited. And then...
And I think the thing that really solidified it for me is that a week prior to this class meeting we had, that girl that I had seen outside of the train had been removed from our school.
She got sent to a different school. So it kind of tied everything together for that. Fast forward to a couple years ago, geez, five years ago now, I had a dream that I was having a son. And it was great. It was something I had always wanted.
But my family was in Wisconsin and the dream that I had, I could hear my family and everyone and I knew that I wasn't around them. I was in Alaska still. But also in the dream, I was alone because during this time, I was married, but I was alone but with this baby. And it was difficult, but I was so happy.
Well, five months again, it took around September that I had this dream again. Like five months later, we make the decision that we're going to move down to Wisconsin. And I completely forgot about this dream. We were down in Wisconsin, and I guess I need to back up a little bit. I didn't think I could have kids at the time.
that was just something for like a year or so. It wasn't possible. So I had moved on from that thought already. So that dream was nice, but I felt like it was just a dream that I was having since everyone around me seemed to be having kids. Within like a month of me moving down, I found out
that I'm pregnant, that I'm expecting. And it's exciting, scary, because I'm just moving down to a new state and now with child. And then like a year or so after that, I end up leaving that relationship. Really toxic. But my dream came to pass, even though it was a bit longer in time, it did.
So it was just crazy. I've been listening to your episodes and a lot of the episodes, some people talk about dreams and that they've had things happen and then they can relate it to things.
the things that happen in their life. And just recently I found out my mom has these dreams. She's never shared this with me at all and actually makes it a point to not have these dreams because they're terrifying. I'll have to call back with it. But yeah, it's just, it's kind of crazy that I would call and share, but meaning to you, wanting to you, just super nervous. I love the podcast, Derek, and thank you for giving me a chance to
Thank you, Kayla. You know, you're not the only one tonight to have dreams that seem to come true. For example, take Shelly's call from the state of Washington. Hi, this is Shelly. I'm from Bellingham, Washington. And this story is more about me having a dream that came true.
This happened about five years ago. And what happened was I had a dream that I was sitting in a classroom and my grandmother was actually the teacher. The thing is, is that my grandma passed when she was about 70. However, she was a teacher for 40 years for her career. So I was sitting there in a classroom. It was actually kind of aged classroom.
to look older. She was even writing on a green chalkboard with a piece of chalk. And she was talking out loud, projecting her voice like a teacher would. And I was just taking in the scenery, realizing I was the only student sitting in a desk in the classroom. Then she finally walks over to me and she writes down my maiden name on a piece of paper. And she says, Shelly, do you know where you come from?
As she points to my maiden name. And I am confused. I don't understand where she's going with this. So I'm like, no, what are you talking about here? And she looks at me very sternly and she says, don't forget where you come from. It's very important that you don't. In a very teacherly way, of course. I woke up from that dream not knowing what was happening there. But I couldn't really shake off this feeling that it was profound. And I had to remember what she said.
So I continued on with my day, feeling a little emotional, not knowing why, but it was one of the first dreams I had of my grandmother actually coming through to give me, obviously, a message. Later, my dad called, and he let me know that my grandpa had passed, and he carries the same last name as my maiden name.
So that name she wrote on that piece of paper was his name. That's how we all refer to him, by his last name, because his first name was the same as my father's name. So it just cleared up any confusion trying to refer to the both of them. So she wrote my grandfather's name on that piece of paper, and she let me know not to forget where I came from. And it really rang true to me in that moment what she meant. I finally understood the message she was passing along.
I just communicated my grandfather a long time ago when I was in my 30s. Now I stopped talking to him when I was 12 because he carried a lot of demons. He wasn't a good figure in our family. He was mean in the end and didn't seem to care about anyone. So it was toxic.
And I guess in that moment what my grandmother was trying to convey to me was you still can't hold on to bitterness of the past, and you still have to remember and pay homage towards your past of where you come from and own it. So...
He made me realize even though things got weird and there was no closure for me and my grandfather, I didn't even know he passed. He had been going south for a while. No one informed us. Well, it just helped me in that moment find closure by her coming through and letting me know, you know, even though things don't work out, you can still look at your past and be proud. And if it weren't for him, you wouldn't even be here today.
You know, it's good to look at your grandparents.
or any of your lineage and realize all these key characters of your past, your history that you're related to, without them living their lives, whatever happened to them, you would simply not exist today without them pushing you forward. So it gave me a lot of peace in that moment. Another side note here, my father, this is his dad, right? When he called me, we went and talked for a while about his dad's passing. He also excommunicated his dad.
So there's no closure for him either. But the weird thing, of course, I passed along the dream and he was happy to hear about that. So that was nice. But he said the weird thing was my father, I
ironically, was in the drive-thru coffee stand and he had to pull over and he started crying out of the blue. He didn't know what was happening as to why he was so emotional. He also didn't know his father was in a stage of passing. There was no informing to the family about this event. When his sister called and she informed him about the passing of their mutual father and I find that to be
a coincidence, a coink-a-dink, if you will, because he didn't know why he was so emotional. He just burst into tears. And then he gets a phone call in that moment explaining, you know, the passing of his dad. And my dad's not one, you know, to be crying like that and have crying spells. So the irony of that as well, I feel like,
He's tuned in, he's dialed in, and maybe it runs in our family somehow too because it seems like I have these strange dreams. One of a few. Probably call back with some more stories. Dreams that seem to come true. All right, thanks for listening to me. I love your show. I'm new to listening to it, but I've been obsessed with it and listening to it every day actually for the last week. Really good stuff. Thank you so much. Thank you, Shelly.
You know, this can fall under two different categories: premonition and post-death visitation. That short window where the recently departed seem to have some sort of access to us, typically in dream form. A phenomena that we've heard about many times here on the program. So feel free to pick whichever explanation you think better explains Shelley's situation. Now when we come back, I complete the trifecta. One more story about dreams that come true.
I'll be right back. What gift are you going to get that person that did?

And then he actually brought me to Tennessee to do what he had to do in the past. Now, as promised, one more dream come true story. And this is yet another dark one. So be prepared. Please welcome Anonymous to the program. Hi, Derek. I'll remain anonymous for this one.
I want to start my story out by saying that I am a clairvoyant. I don't know if a lot of people know what a clairvoyant is, but I can see stuff before it happens, particularly in dreams. And I'm calling about the days that I had dreams about my two friends dying.
I could not see in these dreams that I was having, I couldn't see who I was nor what I was wearing or anything like that. So I couldn't tell exactly the person that I was looking for. But I know in 2012, one of my friends by the name of Ramiro
He was shot and killed on Halloween at our middle school that we used to go to. We used to go to a middle school named James Rudder Middle School. It's in Sacramento.
Okay, fast forward to 2013.
I am having these dreams again, but this time they're getting more and more vivid. And I'm waking up with the sensations of where I'm shot in this dream. And again, I cannot tell who I am, where exactly I am, because I was not familiar with this area.
And then about, I want to say around April, somewhere in April or June, I had another friend whose name was Denzel and he was killed. The only thing in my dream that I can remember was that every time that I was shot and I was laying on my back, I could see a store sign. So I knew I was in front of a store, but I couldn't tell where the store was.
And come to find out, the store is about 800 feet away from where Romero would steal that, in between some apartment complexes. Now, the complex part about this one is...
I literally felt every shot. Denzel was shot multiple times, so was Ramiro. But I could not feel those shots the first time when I was having these dreams. But the second time I was having these dreams, I was feeling the shots. And for some reason, it was just more and more intense before it would happen. And to make matters worse, I saw Denzel that day.
Thank you, Collar, and I'm sorry for your losses as well.
Now I imagine losing two different friends this way is painful enough without being able to see the violence go down each time you close your eyes. And hopefully, caller, you're able to deal with those images. I can only imagine how heavy they must get. We thank you again, caller, for ringing in. What a tragic tale, but an extraordinary series of events. Now folks, next up, another premonition and another brush with death. Please welcome David.
to the program. Hey, my name is David. I just started listening to the podcast and I love the show and I thought I'd share one of my stories. So this was a while back. I think it was at the year 2000. I was 13 years old and I was playing video games in my bedroom.
It was about the middle of the afternoon, and I'm playing the game. My vision starts to go blurry, and eventually I black out. But then I wake back up, and I'm not in my room anymore. I'm outside of one of my friends' house.
He doesn't see me or notice me, and he's shooting paintballs with his brother. They're running around shooting paintballs at each other. Well, my friend, he's running on the edge of this hill, and he slips and falls, and he's rolling down the hill, and...
eventually hits this branch on the way down and it impales him through his chest. And I watch his eyes kind of bulge out and he's gasping for air. And a few seconds later, he dies. And then my vision goes black again and I'm back in my bedroom.
So I'm pretty freaked out by this. And so I'm trying to calm down. I take about 20 minutes to calm down. Then I decide to call my friend's house. And this was before everyone had cell phones, so we had landlines. So I call my friend, and his mom picks up, and I ask if I can talk to him. And she says, oh, no problem. He's outside shooting paintballs. I'll go get him.
So she goes outside, and a few minutes later, my friend picks up the phone. And I told him what I just saw what happened. And he told me that about 20 minutes ago, he slipped and fell and rolled down a hill, but he came inches from landing on that branch.
So he said he had chills running down his spine. And so I recognize that this may have just been all in my head and it was like a hallucination or something like that. And he may have just been messing with me, but I really don't know what to think about that. But anyway, that's my story. Love the show. Thanks. Bye. Thank you, David.
Another close call. And another near prediction. But I do wonder what's with these near misses. A premonition that's just a little bit off. Was David somehow able to alter the timeline? Or did David get a glimpse of a completely different timeline? Or a peek into another dimension or reality? One where his friend did get impaled by the stick. Now it's nearly impossible to say
Because not only is this phenomenon rare, but there's no telling when and where it'll happen. Making studying something like this incredibly difficult. But keep calls like this coming, and I'll do what I can to add to the lore.

Don't have the resources. We're going to need you to carry it on. But I make sure that I'm aware of my surroundings. Now, folks, I have one more entry lined up for you here this evening, a story that proves that this sort of thing isn't restricted to any certain age group. Matthew.
Please go ahead with your story of premonition. Hi, everyone. Yeah, thanks a lot for taking the call. But yeah, let me first start by saying that I love the podcast and it, I don't know, it just flows very well. It flows good. And I know that it seems almost effortless. And I know that takes hours of editing and a lot of work on your part, man. So, yeah.
What seems effortless to a listener, you know, you're putting in the hard work. So thanks. Yeah, I appreciate it. Anyway, so yeah, my story relates to my now 11-year-old son. He was a toddler at the time.
And I was living in Chicago with him and his mother. We were married at the time. We aren't any longer. But yeah, he was a little guy and we were sitting at the kitchen table, you know, just kind of hanging out. He was just learning some words like, you know, hey, Papa, play, let's go play. Things like that. Hey, Mama, hey, Mama.
you know, I don't know, ball, whatever kids say, I forget. Anyway, yeah, so he was just sitting there, just being silly, eating his yogurt in his high chair. Our condo was by the train tracks, which doesn't have anything to do with anything, but it just kind of paints the picture by the elevated tracks. Yeah, so we were sitting there, and the little guy just was saying, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And then all of a sudden he said,
Uncle Richard garage and kitchen. And, you know, I looked at his mom, like, that's weird. Whatever, I guess he's trying out words. But the, you know, funny thing was that we do have an Uncle Richard. He lives, he's still alive, he's in his 90s. He kind of looks, I don't know, he's got that little pencil mustache and, you know, he's an old school kind of guy. So,
some singing groups back in the 50s, I guess, in Detroit. He's just that kind of guy. Kind of like the mouse in the movie "Sing," if you've ever seen him. He's kind of like that. So he's a memorable guy. So he's my ex-wife's uncle by marriage. So, you know, we saw him. He's in southern Kentucky, so it's like seven, eight hours away, whatever, drive. So we saw him occasionally, you know, for Christmas or whatever.
And the little guy, you know, he had met him a couple of times. We didn't really have any pictures. But, you know, like I said, he was kind of a memorable dude. So it wasn't weird that he popped his name out. You know, he met him a couple of times. Anyway, we didn't think anything of it. We just went about our day. I think like two days passed. And then...
My ex-wife's mom called and said, hey, how's it going? What's up? How's the baby? I'm like, yeah, he's cool. Whatever. He's like, oh, yeah. Tell your sister, my aunt, that he was talking about Uncle Richard. And then her mom said, well, really? Why? What? She's like, well, I don't know. He just said, Uncle Richard, garage, kitchen. I don't know. It was weird. It was just kind of random. And then her mom said, well...
Something funny happened. You know, we got the timeline straightened and everything lined up. And she said, "You know what? They told me that, you know, your Uncle Richard and, you know, aunt told me that two days ago, roughly around the same time you're singing, little guy was singing this, that Richard was sitting in the kitchen having breakfast and they live kind of on a rural highway down south Kentucky.
And he was eating breakfast and then, then boom, of course, something weird would have to happen. But at that moment, well, eight hours away in Chicago, down in southern Kentucky, Uncle Richard was eating his breakfast and then, then well, you know, a car swerved from the, you know, little rural highway, lost control,
and slammed into his garage, which was connected to the kitchen. And so the car busted through the garage and actually into the kitchen right next to where he was eating his breakfast. Uncle Richard was fine. He did not get hit by the car. Just some structural damage to the house.
So, yeah, I don't know. It's weird. I'm not religious at all. I mean, I'm spiritual, I guess. I'm super skeptical, even though I love the podcast. But I love monsters and everything. And I'm so skeptical because I want there to be something to find, you know?
So it's not like I'm looking for things to happen all the time. Well, maybe I am, but I don't know. But that, anyway, that's what happened. That's all I really have that's ever happened. Strange. But that was a pretty good one, I think. And my ex-wife now, you know, she was there. You know, we both were there. We both knew it. The whole family knows it. It's kind of a funny family story now that we've been telling each other.
for 10 years, you know? And he, of course, the little guy now who's older, of course, tells everybody he has psychic powers. And yeah, there you go. I don't know. Who knows, right? Yeah, keep up the good work, man. I love listening to the stories. Take care and have a good evening. Bye. Thank you, Matthew. It's an incredible story.
And it posits so many new questions. Questions about age, childhood development, brain development, psychic abilities, cultural influence. The list goes on. And you know, I've heard dozens, if not hundreds, of stories similar to this. But I don't recall too many of them involving a young child making the prediction. Frankly, that's a new wrinkle that's downright fascinating. So keep the calls coming, folks. 888-608-9000.
especially if they're calls like Matthew's here, because that was amazing stuff. So thank you again, Matthew. And a big thank you to all of tonight's submitters, because that's going to do it for this Tuesday episode. And I'll catch you all back here on Thursday with a brand new installment.
