Two first time candidates for Boston’s District 9 are heading into the final election on November 5, 2019. Craig Cashman and Liz Breadon beat out 7 other candidates for the chance to represent Allston-Brighton residents on the Boston City Council. We spoke to both about the big and small issues facing the district.

Craig Cashman) - Born and raised in Brighton. Craig Cashman spent 12 years as the district director for Allston-Brighton State Representative Michael Moran.

Most jobs these days require at least some skill in the fields of STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Classes in STEM education are integrated in K-12 curriculum across the country and here in the Bay State. That’s why for the second year in a row, Massachusetts has instituted a week-long initiative aiming to get kids excited about STEM with a long term goal of building a pipeline of skilled workers ready to join the ranks of its growing STEM workforce.
