  6. Reign • : The period when a leader or ruler is in control. • : His reign lasted for 20 years before he was removed from power.
  7. Ruthless • : Not caring about hurting others to get what you want. • : The ruthless leader showed no mercy to his enemies.
  8. Darayya دَرَعّا. • : A town in Syria known for its resistance during the Syrian Civil War. • : Darayya became famous for standing up against oppression.
  9. Rose up • : To fight against a leader or government. • : The people rose up against the dictator.
  10. Tyrant • : A cruel and unfair ruler. • : The tyrant made people live in fear during his rule.

  17. Torment • : Great pain or suffering, either physical or emotional. • : The memories of the war were a constant torment to him.
