Lindsay：My English teacher gave us a book list for us that we will read together in class. They are Fever 1793, The Outsiders, and The Giver.

Q: what else will you do through this year in English class?
Lindsay: We will be writing poetry, as well as reading it. Many people don’t like that unit but I enjoy it. We will also be creating our own superheroes and supervillains, and making long backstories for them. Later on in the year we will write short stories, which is something I’m looking forward to. Writing is something that I really like doing.
