As Christians we talk often about living as deeply formed Jesus followers. Unfortunately, this is impossible without the powerful presence of the Holy Spirit working in our lives. In our culture today the Holy Spirit tends to be the least understood, least preached about, and least discussed member of the Trinity causing us to shy away or completely disregard. The truth is without an awareness of and intentionality towards the Holy Spirit, our spiritual lives will quickly become a dry, mechanical struggle often causing us to wonder, “is there more being a Jesus follower than what I am experiencing?” Over the next four weeks we will explore who the Holy Spirit is and how we can live empowered, meaningful lives as followers of Jesus.
