郭台铭选总统内外交困 Taiwan: Terry Gou’s presidential bid gone awry

2024年台湾总统选举)进入倒计时。在四组参选人中，排名第四的台湾首富郭台铭)最近内外交困。

郭台铭创办的鸿海富士康)集团，在中国大陆被查税和土地违规使用)。在台湾，郭台铭也陷入“花钱买连署)”的丑闻。

作为独立参选人，郭台铭需要至少29万份连署书支持他选总统，而且连署书是越多越好。然而，指他涉嫌贿选的案子越来越多。据传每一份连署书的价码介于200到1000新台币不等。

郭台铭的选举是怎么啦？他会退选吗？他内外交困的处境又会如何影响明年的台湾总统大选？

Taiwan will hold its next presidential election on Jan 13, 2024. Among the four candidates, the billionaire founder of major Apple supplier Foxconn, Terry Gou, is facing tax and land-use investigations in mainland China, as well as allegations of signature buying for his campaign in Taiwan.

Gou currently ranks fourth in opinion polls. He is running against Democratic Progressive Party’s candidate Lai Ching-te, Kuomintang’s candidate Hou Yu-ih and Taiwan People’s Party's candidate Ko Wen-je.
