The PN welcomes the invitation to the discussion on the Legal Notice that gives access to information to the Minister of Education

The Nationalist Party welcomes the invitation of the Minister of Education and Work Evarist Bartolo to hold a discussion after the Government introduced a legal notice, which will give extraordinary powers to allow the same Minister to gain access to private information of each student from the first year of school until he graduates from the educational institutions.

The debate on the Motion brought by the Opposition to revoke this legal Notice will take place in Parliament in the session next Monday. The Leader of the Opposition Simon Busuttil emphasized that the Nationalist Party wants this Legal Notice changed or revoked because someone having access even to the Identity Card is not simply for the purpose of study and research, as he said Minister Bartolo.
