The nominations for the election of the European Parliament begin to be received

Today the nominations of the candidates who will contest the European Parliament election of May 24 are starting to be accepted. Nominations will remain open until next Thursday. On these days, candidates can submit nominations from 9am to 1pm and from 3pm to 7pm at the Electoral Commission in Evans Building, City.

On the same days and times, the nominations of the candidates who will contest the elections for 16 Administrative Committees in the communities are also being received. The Administrative Committees, for which elections will also be held on May 24, are 13 in Malta and three in Gozo. In the case of Gozitan candidates, the nominations of the candidates are being received at the Identity Card Office in Victoria.
