OpenAI is looking to remove a stipulation from its corporate structure, which limits the value of its partnership with Microsoft because it voids Microsoft's access to AGI once OpenAI achieves it. OpenAI defines AGI, or Artificial General Intelligence, as a highly autonomous system that outperforms humans at most economically valuable work. Simply put, AGI could unlock many billions of dollars of future investment with Microsoft, who has already pumped $13 billion into the company.
With OpenAI restructuring to become a public benefit corporation, a departure from its not-for-profit origins, the concern for AGI being misused for corporate purposes by big tech is not as great.

It's partnering with the International Watch Foundation, or IWF, which works with social media platforms, tech companies, governments, and more to prevent the spread of CSAM. Telegram's membership in the IWF allows it to utilize tools to block access to links containing CSAM and other non-photographic harmful content, including AI-generated images.
The IWF also provides Telegram with hashes of known CSAM content and any other harmful content it detects.

The first rollout will take place between Sa'adiyat Island, Yaz Island, and along routes to and from Zayed International Airport with plans to expand in the future.
