Maharashtra Government reduced Stamp duty to 3 percent

The Maharashtra government on Wednesday decided to reduce stamp duty on housing units by 3 percent. Until 31 December to boost the real estate market that has been hit by the pandemic.

Real estate developers had been asking for a reduction in stamp duty. Following the lockdown to encourage homebuyers to purchase properties during the pandemic.
