Members Reviews: Essetntial Christianity: practical steps for Spritual Growth I have used many of Bill Hybel's Bible studies. I have just done the first lesson and it inspires me to continue. This lesson really makes you think and draws you closer to Jesus in my walk with Him. I am looking forward to the other lessons in this series.
Two Stars It was hard to understand
First time leader I enjoyed this Bible study. It was easy to follow and had thought provoking questions. This was the first class i have ever helped lead and I liked having the leader guide in the back of the book.
Good for small groups This is a great small group teaching book. In depth study for small groups with plenty of material to explore.
Great Discussion Guides Our small group at church has used these books for a couple years now, as part of the series, and we have found them to be great guides for our weekly discussions. I would encourage you to use them if you need a discussion guide. Some of the theology is a little different than what we teach, but even those areas provided good discussions.
