Members Reviews: Biblical truth by reputable Christian theologian I began this series with this, the first in the Crucial Questions series by R. C. Sproul, as part of my daily studies. I determined to get back to basics and it doesn't get more basic than the question of who Jesus is. I enjoyed this small book. It has only three chapters but is deep in doctrine and rich in content. I look forward to the next book in this series.

Who Is Jesus? A quote from the book will be sufficient: No person in history has provoked as much study, criticism, prejudice, or devotion as Jesus of Nazareth. The titanic influence of this man makes Him a chief target of the arrows of criticism and a prime object of revision according to the interpreter's prejudice. Thus, the portrait of the historical Jesus has been altered to suit the fancies of those seeking to line Him up on their side, to make of Him an ally in a host of militant causes, many of which are mutually exclusive. In the theologian's laboratory, Jesus is treated like a chameleon; He is forced to adapt to the backdrop painted by the theologian.

Very Thought Provoking Once again RC challenges us with fresh insights about our Savior. The depth of study required to author books of the quality of this one, is almost mind boggling. Praise God for men like RC Sproul who dedicate their life to study and prayer in order to present opportunities for men like me to grow in mind and spirit.

A fantastic and informative read A fantastic and informative read. The author and this book, in my opinion, is for those with a solid understanding of Christianaity looking for a deeper understanding. This book is pretty straightforward and the title tells you exactly what it covers.
