this amazing episode all we got an incredible up here we to talk about the chef staying undefeated in the super bowl rematch against san fran sais big return to the middle lands also going to hit to time out of the house that's right in particularly my time out of the house also to join by the legend C, C, A, B, former, clearly guardian.

to be honest, I I can't like the guards. I like the guardians.

I going to be very honest, I don't think gardens is a good team name. I get that the two statues on the bridge, I would rather bit the clive and statues. I think that's cool in the client. I do not like the clive and guardians on be an artist.

I don't know about this status.

The clive on pillars, the clive on stones like I don't like you could have been so many other things as a guardian is a stupid name. I don't like a guardian.

I don't know why. Carnegie bridge?

Yeah exactly car ages. I mean, I don't know.

I we're not going to get in on this man.

I'm with man. I don't like that when I don't like matters.

Maybe so I do.

I do right now that I just don't like new names. What are other expansion names like do that?

I mean, i'm still away on the utah hockey club to get that man just be the come uci club.

So we that .

is such a preppy fucker name for a got.

No, it's the same thing is the football.

Do you have to go to the game? Do you have to go to the game? And like a otherwise you don't get into the club and .

it's it's got to be just a placeholder until they find their like real name IT can be called the fuck and hockey club who knows you probably .

yet this is way Better come yet. This is a great name. What's another expansion team recently? Um what's the the cracking that's not bad.

The cracking was sweet. Yes, cracking the man.

I like that one. The most recent foobar team is the texas. Is that the most recent expansion like brand new foobar team? I mean, other teams have moved location? Yes, texas.

I like the world named texas.

We've through this in the last like texas s this pretty good one. Not very creative, but I like the oil is Better gari a little okay anyway. Give the m, let's get the show started .

with a little bit of .

that's right. No news is brought to .

you by timberland's vans.

You do love your butter, man. And I got my van zone, but they looked like snakes ers, men. Let's start to think of a little kicking chAllenge. The first bit of new news, Jason, our episode pat mcafee, last week, you have officially been called out by our friends at timber lin in vans and called out this what this clip .

called out for what I do.

the Steve van dore from vans. We got favours. Dangle here.

We make some special shoes up right here. Check aboard football. clean.

Oh my god. Oh OK .

like .

I ended that video.

he. Said he was famous. Stand, do you know who that day was you? I don't know that. Be taker. Okay, no, kid.

I mean, he made IT.

There's no chance i'm .

going to make this.

You know, you can make a fiel goal, Jason.

No change on tims.

Why do you think you can't make a fiel goal in tims?

Because there are heavy s boots and my hefley tires don't work as I ripped them off the bone when I had sports, I pat mav just talked about how he, towards his flex, are playing soccer last week. Do you know what what's going to be like with my big goofs trying to kick all this age?

I'm not what you were just in the .

now I now like five year. Yeah, I love you. So IT drops quick.

I get that square. I don't know what they are. I'm doing still trying to squat three teen.

what are you under this bar?

I don't know. Just because I .

like hurt my back. I think I love, feel that of my knees .

crack and well, a visual for some reason I like IT.

I'm a little fucked up.

Counter bar went once I pundit ball after practice and his knee was never the same. IT bothered him for the rest of his career.

Like, yeah, you got to understand you can't be all quadrate you can be vim. O yeah, you got to be. Yeah, you've got to be hip flex. You're got to be everything. You've got to work together when you're kick in, man, because if you you get hybrid ks.

that thing if you're doing and wrong list, if it's for charity, alter my have push of a charity is what .

I talked about. That's what I talked her about. It's a cleaning .

ball player right there.

I already to know how this is going to be facilitated, whether I have to make IT what the deal is with chamblin advance.

But the chAllenge .

is accepted. Yeah, famous. Dan was a famous then stand. What was that I think was done, but is going to type IT .

was famous and was then brain.

Well, i'm going to have go straight on. I can't socket style. And tim, right now, like right square to that thing.

you can get in there.

Should I put like a little, you know, the old square to clues used to make specifically for kicking?

What do you talk about? You talk about the steel toes that you bored during the season. This dude was out there and steel told college and was.

I do have a modified created, but I was not the flat front, the way they really make like a flat frush.

You got a void clean, like a frame, like a little with a little flash card that says, like what how he was made in.

like to make a whole video, put down the cover and self silly. He was what you take me up down the town.

put AR on IT I didn't even .

other workout, is that 他 到底 会 是个 old.

doesn't like a profession .

that would extinct when they invented machinery. I don't know that we're still covers, but there are both.

Stay tuned to all the new hyde social channels and tune in next week to see what we have in store and how you can participate in this a this fun charity fun raiser that um involves Jason trying to make a feel .

go in timberland's ready huge animal. We've officially started the heights hot line that's right. And we want to hear from you and trying to figure out ways to hear from our fans and everybody out there that listens in this show on a weekly basis.

Um we obviously appreciate you guys so much. So we've decided to create a hot line number. That's right. The number is nine, two, nine, three, nine, nine, seven, two, six, zero. Hopefully somebody will .

put that number on the screw .

you what spare? Brian said.

those are hard to get this. This is a arise again.

That's nine, two, nine, three, nine, nine, seven, two, six, zero. You can call in and ask us questions and we will replay the actual audience. So there's a chance you make IT on the show, which I think very cool without us just reading that we actually hear your voice. The topic for the first high top line, one that will be put in the epo de, is going to be relationships, right? Ask us any questions you have about, yeah leave us a voice mail and ask to solve any issue or whatever .

cause the next time this is the latest man, we're trying to be our only on filth. This pretty.

this is pretty good. So yeah, the only thing left to do is is record the outgoing message. So should we do that right now? Yeah.

let's go. We get to get me about relationships.

What's the other machine message? Hello, you reach the new high, tight line. Yes, please leave us a message. You'll get back to you soon.

As with some nice for your relationships, we are the ladies men.

There's also a strong chance we don't get back to you because this problem, we wait too many people to get back to. But I assured we've sure do appreciate you call IT.

Now right now.

you want to check out the high tap line and see if we choose your voice mail. E, make sure to sign up for one dering plus. You will also get early access to episodes without interruptions.

And we're still giving you three months free of wondering plus. This wondering plus offer is only available for them to time visit. Wondering that camps as new heights offer .

to if it's free, give me three, let's keep the staying mobile was still in the wunder plus realm with a film club. I an a speaking of our bonus, last week we released our first new height film club episode, how about that and got a, we got some fun replies from a few familiar faces. Hey, we got ta shut out from bridget herself. Blake lively shut out the Blake and black saw our sister, heard of the travelling paint clip and posted this response on instagram.

I know I knew those parents didn't have .

anything to do with IT.

Yes, I called .

IT from the moment I saw these plants are important at all.

This is the title, it's IT. That's all that is not anything to do with IT.

But like, thank you so much for proving me right and for offering that bit of a knowledge that the author actually didn't want the pants in IT but instead wanted to have some type magical thing because a very potter and so good .

yes yeah I love IT and I got a great response and we needed that we needed that clarification.

We did we did but was also not the only cash member we heard from. Um we also got a couple mention, ones from the one and only T, B that's right, Amber tablet, I approve of this poster and both of you bunch of pants, bunch of females, bunch hearts X, O, T.

B share they ever appreciate you. You catch in the the one three plus or or at least hearing about IT and and giving your approval. We appreciate that any thoughts on the next film club movie should IT be, uh, a thanksgiving slash holiday themes since a it'll come out in november.

I think we did a check for like now we got to baLance IT out and do just the most mascula .

movie of all time, right? This, let's take you to the ninety two percent on some some masculine movies, maybe some terminators, maybe some .

what what are some of the opposite? And the the city travel people, what movies do you guys think we can do? How do you want to hear with the swift, these things you're like? The masculine movies like.

what do you think? So ad, and this be a good rainbow.

Free can die hard. really. Any eighties or nineties action movie is got to be just like commando is good blood sport. Blood sport is the main st movie that should, when I fucked in love, blood sport, got of that movie.

I'm down to watch IT.

I'll see what you guys say on that front. And once again, we also want to mention that new news has brought to you by .

our friends at timberlake in vance fresh, let's out of house, moving on, out of the house, out of the house. Brought to you by the powerful backing of american express. Jason got out of the house this week. I did about IT this weekend, I should say, in miami, and we ve got to talk about IT. You took a nap at the arrows tour.

not taken up. What is that all about to know? I didn't take that.

I didn't not take that. How are you? This show is absolutely electric, is the greatest show that ever been on stage and you're over here fAllen to sleep.

Not only he was at the greatest show, but obviously I went to the two london shows. This miami show was incredible. I think part of its like I don't know if it's back, the fact that we're back in the us because I think the london crowd was incredible but the rain in everything I do de IT was like on another love, I text you helpful through IT like this right is killing IT SHE.

When reputation came on and SHE came out in the new outfit and the rain was coming down and the the place could have fucking erupted, I really like that was the amount of energy was insane. IT was so exciting. But back to this photo, i'm going to give a little, I guess, background to the show kindly.

IT is holding elliot, right? Eli was just with me. We were dancing and I was sitting down from on the same level with her. yeah. And i'm trying not to wear out the middle.

the open right here.

And we brought a bunch of people to the show because a bunch of people been asking to say, where are you going to tell us with shows? And mom went for the first time, and we're trying to figure out. We go out.

And I realized, I mean, like middle, the open, like IT isn't like a box, is like a closed. I saw my, okay, I must sit down and not be. I don't want like, no, I felt i'm stand and I hold earlier. I feel like I like kind of in a fish ball, like everybody staring at me.

So I just sit down and thanks what L I goes over to kindly and then i'm just like sitting here and i'm just like feeling IT and i'm like and i'm tap of my side and I just like in the moment listening to the song and then all the sudden I go on twitter and I see this fucker picture. I like, good, what the fuck like? I'm not even sleep in and I can prove to you there is evidence in this photo that i'm not sleeping .

you call a boil and a .

liar boat and say was sleeping boat, not say I was sleeping, he just posted the picture.

say what you were sleeping no, you just fell in the group .

jets jack zoom on my right hand impose to make sure that traver sees this my head is covering. You can sleep with your hand hovering .

above your knee .

possible major pain. How I can I get sleep? My eyes open, much less of my hand over the sand.

I was going .

like this.

I'm going like to be. And.

you know, I play jazz sometimes.

When you close your eye, every I ever saw you. Look sexy. thanks.

Like i'm seriously i'd like that. So i'm kind of a have you good but this is like a favorite about the show because the beast of the rain had just like started to get into my face. Ellie was with mom so i'm not OK and i'm just sit here like tap of malay and i'm just in the moment I invite bAllen and his mom it's it's her birthday sister place and then always shot and friendly fire like i'm loris about all these other people getting pictures with me in l in a try every moment and then all the I see this betrayed by one of my best friends that's .

what happens. That's not betrayal.

That's just I just, I just call .

me in school, be the best friend. Well, I had all the formal in the world with the entire family and a lot of our friends of being there. I had a bunch of friends that were also down by the stage that had been to a few shows overseas.

And they were saying the same thing the year, saying the miami stadium was just on another, was a IT was, man, I wish I was there. I wish I was there. Also, there was, there was a little bit of confusion among the the swiss. They apparently confused kindly with boil. And and and that is, those aren't two people that I .

think those two mix.

Sure bow was flattered.

I don't know who's more disrespect to Carry your bow. Wow, that everyone thought a former knows garden the n. Fels now a female, or kindly that everybody thought you where a Harry nose guard with your arms exposed.

We would like to recreate this comment section with a little dramatic reading.

Travis will play the missile ious brewers in. James will play shells. Ray, okay, let's go. Let's see. What are voice acting skills look like.

sound like, oh god, miss any is brow. He's a brand. He's a drunk, kindly.

So beautiful down the earth. Look at those rip field hockey arms. I mean, she's just the glue, the neck, the foundation. Kelly is giving us midwestern mom's light because .

a great midwestern mom. I shows ray response. Where do you see her arms low? Ki is sitting in front of data. Someone else is holding. Why IT isn't .

that her dancing around Jason in that cobol hat? IT looks IT look at those guns.

No, that's a man that's bow Allen kill is sitting in front of dona holding Ellie.

Sorry, I put my glasses on clearly as not kite, okay, but whoever that woman is good on those muscles. Sorry, i'm .

going. Whoever that woman is yet. And finally, we also heard from the mystery woman a in question herself, a bow bb l Allen. And he he wishes he had.

this is like .

a lie.

Who doesn't?

I do not. I'm very happy he does not as but delicious is boylan's behind is starting to throw them them about thinking about calling hadn't go well.

let's keep you moving in overall. Did the family have a good time at the show? Everyone had a good who did? He doesn't have a good time with everyone.

Not only everybody have a good time, but everybody was has been texting over the last couple days since then. Like that, she's just incredible and the shows incredible. Miami was another level of IT.

I'm excited for her to be back out on tour for this like final league of the errors run here. Yeah, it's pretty awesome. This is incredible trip.

So, Q, K, on the type. Keep kill in IT. Yeah.

I shut out to .

everyone that went to the eras tour down to miami, especially shut out to my friends that came along, obviously, maybe king swifty. Now, bAllen, who knows way too many swifty, references his sister Grace, and of course, the birthday woman herself, a susie en, as well as dana Kelsey for show. Elliot Kelsey for show. Why are Kelsey for a show? Was a, was an awesome time on their man.

He was great yeah and shut out to take time for power. And you, through a few range shows there yeah and that does IT for out of the house brought you by the powerful backing of american express.

I'd ask you to some week seven recaps started with the chiefs chief s twenty eight forty hours eighteen in the super bowl rematch. Yeah, what do you thought? trip?

I mean, it's it's tough to call IT a super bomber rematch. I mean, it's there were different guys out there. Yeah, different guys out there. Obviously the same organization, same head coach. A lot a lot of the same big time players, but are big name players, familiar faces.

But um at the end of the day, we had a lot of guys step up a on our team, at least that they didn't play in the super bowl. Then on top of that, you know you, but IT was a tough game, man. IT was, IT was a IT was a good dirty type game.

I mean, we ran the ball a lot. Korean hunt was was getting downhill and find, finding extra yards after contact. Same with my guy.

Cars and steel done day hidden the hole like a maniac and IT was just a IT started off a little slow force. Uh but I think we ended up, you know, catching someone feeling some confidence there and and really just playing together. Men, just be an accountable when your numbers called, and we found ways to put up some touchdowns.

And that was the biggest thing going into their going into their game as an office with man, when we get in the red old man, enough of these fuel goes. Now we love Harry. Love Harry and fucker. And he he's going to make some fake field goals force again this year. Let's put up some touchdown. One men, we work, we work our tail off to get that red zone and that over sun, you know, we settle for three and it's just, you know, this reward ourselves by giving that ball in the enzo. And that's what we did.

Men, and nobody is a Better in the end zone. After the byway k the andy read, and at twenty two and four he is the highest winning percentage after the by an nf, fl history. What is andy do differently other than other coaches during the buy? No.

that's a secret ce man. He, the formula man he has, he has a unique way to find routines that chAllenge everybody in the building to be accountable. If that makes sense, like he has, he has a way to chAllenge lens of line.

He has a way to chAllenge the receivers. You know, known that that a lot of guys are banned up. He has a way to chAllenge patman homes. And on top that he has a way to chAllenge the coaches to be able to put us in successful positions. And I think, you know, you give him that extra week of preparation and to think about IT and to, like really, really put a game plan together. Um coste does IT Better than anybody, in my opinion, I just said, and I think that record proves IT .

yeah I think a lot of IT, like you just said, is you give and is a great coach. And when you give any great coach more time to prepare, they're gonna a be that much more dangerous. And you guys came out right from the gate and IT felt like the offence was human. And I know some interceptions and turn over is, but I was going and then top of, I think we going to talk about space.

I know. Oh, man, come on, my baby. Yeah, baby.

It's a trust, brock, at a rough day out there trying to throw the ball. Now he is missed some horses. You know, they've had the injury bug just .

like you guys have. You know, you hate this terrible.

I hate watching man and guys.

It's it's really unfortunate a man this year just seems like injuries are happened to a lot of teams and it's like big name guys on the on the team. I didn't hit with women yeah you just hate to see IT man, and especially when it's when they're good dues. Man, yeah yeah. So that never makes IT easy. But at the same time and that's foobar brother, you've tt a find a way to the next man and up is is gotto be ready and um and that's just you know unfortunately the game we played in the .

game we love in the deep Samuel has neumann that cks how great, I don't know.

especially like right now. And hopefully devil gets good, gets healthy, quick men, you would never like to hear that for sure.

The events of dominant, they finish with three interceptions, one sc, five tackles for loss in six quarter by kids. And since that, the deep fense hasn't allowed a three hundred yard passer since the super bowl against the eagles. Shout out jAiling hurts Ricky safety jay hicks came up with one of the biggest plays of the game when he picked off black pretty in the fourth quarter. IT was hicks his first career interception .

about that j hax baby right on time, man, especially big, big time on the on the goal line to um man, you see one of those things. Man, that's one of those. You jump off the off the bench line. Someone, baby.

yeah, baby, you ready to talk about a cream hunt? mico. But obviously both of those guys coming in and having big games, we talked about the nine or seven injuries.

Abc, you guys been thrust with a budgeting as well. And, uh, you guys have got step up cream huntings with two touchdowns on seventy eight years russian room. My goal had a couple cool design plays as well as I was a reversion on around a few .

jets webs had a big punt return um the court is just he's always there, man, he's always ready and for whatever reason he's just got forty nine, his number last time we were in in san fran or sanfords. Isco I should say um he had a big game. I think he had something like two or three touchdowns, the big, big time in the return game.

On top of that, he had a lot of jets switch as well. And know if if they they realized he was, is one of the jets week kings out here and is what he does. You just get the ball in his hands, run and fast and good things. You're onna have .

andy does so well as well as the the coach for the bucking years and Baker and what we're doing down in, they get guy, they get the ball to really athletic guys in space like they are take the shots down the field when they need to. But they do such a good job of let's just get IT to really fast guy in a lot of open area. And IT seems so simple.

But like nothing, they are create. He's creative with doing that. You mean because I mean, all that stuff can IT can get shut down if you get if if you're showing any tales or correct, the defense can scheme you up with that kind of stuff. But at the same time, men, yeah, get the ball in a cold harman's hand. I mean, that had rock hand thing off exactly if you give a fast .

guy space to um be fast but we have wanted around .

IT felt like where he was gonna just absolutely take IT to the house and for whatever reason they are just like forty nine years players just popped out of the sky and just like surrounded I was like, yeah I could a sore that he was going to take that to the 好 had a bubble .

just like a little bit and I feel like guys got out in front maybe a little bit too much。

But you never know on some of those jets weeks and end around how things time up because you're so like just on the defense of trying to get your guy that you just never know where the guy with the ball is.

The other guy that continues to play well even though everybody likes the highlight, is touched down to interception ratio, is that the homes are pet truckles mes, as he might .

be referred dune truck homes. I like to call a pet vic. Pet vic, yeah. Using those .

leg baby first year, the long is one of his career. Thirty three ards scamper along the sideline at the into the third quarter, which if for be an honest, like he kind of used his quarter backers to his advantage. And get out of here.

You watch IT again. That korean pushes the guy out of bounds. All right, all right. Watch IT again. The guy korean is literally over there in the flat art, gets water cream, sees fifty three, pushes on, he loses baLance OK, and then gets in the way in ninety. I'm not trying to hear this, man.

I just to say i'm sorry, I didn't see the push.

I hear what everybody says. Some courter backs definitely take advantage of that. I think pad has been pretty solid with if he's get out of bounds, he's doing IT because he can't do he can't get any more yard with his legs. He's not going to turn a trick, a guy of going out of bounds and then do it's like the old fake slide. I I just don't see pad doing IT.

Ah I think you're he definite pushed.

never looked. He was running out of bound. He was running toward s to the sideline.

Yeah, guy slowed down, but that was more because they thought that he was going to have four style. I think you're right. And there is a good, a good point out trip.

I miss that. I know what everybody says. No, I get IT sometimes quarter back to protected on the sideline and I can get guys to play a little bit more cautious and that just absolutely trying to take his head off like old days.

H, after the game, pet said he didn't realize that that was the longest run if I need to get my yard up because thirty three is not that long. If i'm for a got that scrambles as much as pet, you would think that you would have a longer one, right?

I mean, i've seen, i've seen him take off on some guys. Now I don't. I didn't realize that thirty three was as loneliest. Neither I know there was the one in the playoffs, two thousand and one thousand against the tide s right before half that he he actually cut back in, got in the end zone on that one, like, rumbled and bumble and stumbled his way into the end zone, almost fumbled IT, but he held onto IT um I thought that one was longer but I guess dirty three, I mean that these numbers don't lie. History.

history don't live in your pet. Mcafee, friend of the show, obviously with the our latest guests before the episode had this tweet, pat, my homes, rolling forest come that affair. I don't think pat .

really runs like four. He doesn't have any need.

Lucy goosey.

he is, he is, i'll say, i'll say this. There's a there's a meme or there's like a gift online right now of an aster's running away from a dog and he's like just like we've and in and out how to decide them as pab homes. A little top heavy with the skinny legs and he's out there just kind of like leaning and I mean he camper er though he's out of there, the astra can .

roll now dog, this is so accurate. Hit the road they slide .

is a deceptive .

as attrition IT looks just like IT that's so good. Do remember because I thought of color murry was doing yesterday two and the hit were going all over the place IT kind of reminds me. Remember that deck criss got warm up that he did the one year.

And I hipp, sir.

he said, yeah, with the hips move similar to, like the rest of his body. Whenever I think a pat running, I always think of the hips. Those are immediately .

where I go.

Chief line back, a drew trade through on patrica holds running style. Maybe people estimate what's under that .

dead bod t pet VC .

on that same drive. Fourth, in one pat runs IT into the in zone and truck smooth a who I think I would be an honest, I think he was lying in the .

word multiple time in game. You was, yes.

I was going for the ball. He looked like he was trying to reach and get the ball out of past right hand and just was .

not ready for the I don't think he was ready for, I mean, yeah, he got to be a bop ler. I'll tell you what rookie in the league guys got a lot of upside flies around. I mean, I wasn't ready form a few times.

He's definitely he came down hill and got a few of our running backs. Um so the guys definitely got a lot of a lot of promise to be a great player for the niners. Not that he isn't already, but this was kind of his welcome to the nf. He even said I was yeah online so he's a good sport about IT. And as you know, you're confident to you go, player, man, you can understand they are listen and there's other good players out here.

Sometimes you get that. Sometimes you get like we've talked about everybody just got the chief. Would that just how went up twenty one to twelve at the beginning of the fourth quarter? Pat on the place said he wasn't even in china.

Lower shoulder is really trying to absorb the hit because he knew was coming. Uh, that bad, bad man, uh, I had enough weight on me where he just went down. A lot of na fell fans, uh ran with this comparing the board of mustafa and budget ables. There's a such a bad picture, pat, that they'll never just let him live down. It's just always going to .

be my dog hadn't seen son and like three months.

And then as you are alluded to, milan staff on online was good support about IT. I'm going to lie. I'm getting cooked.

Oh yeah.

Also had this special formation on leash. Wonder how much more we're going to see this this year with the cars and winds set on the field.

How about that car is a baby?

So you go to go tackle over. So the center is actually once is behind the center and jotuns is snapping in the ball. The homes is behind crew. The crew doesn't have the ball. You're in the backfield haunt is I don't even know what position that is.

He's like like a wing.

a wing, but his hand on the ground.

I don't even know.

I mean, this is why I had so fun. Who they held knows what about that happens?

Fortunately, he stappit. I mean, we got some yard, don't get me wrong, but we thought that was going to be a guarantee test because he was just, I mean, that was it's tough to those one off plays when you practice of so long. These things been in the playbook for, I mean, a long, long time and and we had practice, you know, get nothing perfect, making the exchange smooth, and I get in the right eyes out there, and sure enough, is a fun way to get our guy cars and went in the game.

baby. I will say, running at the tight and and tackle over Normally, at least I feel like when we try to do IT, you go tackle over in short yardage in my goal line situations because it's heavy man coverage. And when you have the tackle over more, the main coverage guys have to go and push towards .

that side .

of the formation.

So IT leads to, like.

but what do I .

know? Almost strong arms this way through some tackles there. But we ended find out a way to get that thing in the end zone yeah and that's all the matters.

baby. Everyone's bang up from both of all teams. It's the miners are out. I mean, deepo a yoke cafe.

How you want to listen to ask? Because I think is more than that, you guys are down. People is a super ball. Hang over a real thing. I mean, you guys have one back to back into balls, and you guys are six and over now.

So I don't yes and no. I mean, as there's definitely something about, you know the feeling you have after a super bowl, you know you you a first all you you want to get that opportunity back like IT burns your fuck and soul that you want to get that opportunity back.

And then on top of that and you just have to have the fortune of being successful or me being have the fortune being healthy and and having your best players out there at the right time and the big moments and um you've got to find a way to win ball games. And you know that's not easy, especially when you have success because you can get caught up in you know kind of some of the stuff you've done last year. You know the really good coaches find ways to to keep IT fresh, to keep IT new, keep putting their players and successful positions.

And we've been Lucy that we've had to the best coordinators ever do, in my opinion, in coach read and um in in spags or and and obviously, i'm i'm saying this as the entire coaching staff is this is chime in on these game plans. And it's a lot of it's a lot of hard work that you've got to be able to go go back and dig deep in and fight through a lot of stuff that they got you to that super bowl. And sometimes just you just got to be fortunate and nice at the same time, you just got to be ready for for anything to happen.

The brand stead of the game. Michael hardmen is the first player since twenty twenty nine hides to record fifteen plus russian yards, fifteen plus receiving yards and fifty plus park return uh yards in a single game. That is definitely .

lebron said yes, call for the lebron test.

That is next week. The chief s are wavers, the raters, the last time the chief played the raters as every rader train in toko, let us know the chief s lost on Christmas day.

I was like, definitely, they were fired up to play a division river. That was, he got the Better of him over the course of the past couple years. But they were ready to play. And they they came out, they smacked this man we went ready for and we got we ve got to definitely make sure that we don't get complacent this week and and we come ready to play because the team um as a fire team and they play their tails off every single day. He survived over .

at a leased stadium since that opened in two thousand and twenty riders. Just signed former banker.

yeah is my good. Is ritter in their men?

including the third of the eagles, you know, IT eagles twenty eight giants three in seconds, return to the metal lands and boy was IT a return my may be gonna I don't think IT IT was a revenge game but um I think like one definite appreciated how hard everybody was blocked and form on this day because he had a one hundred and eighty seven total yards and a touchdown. We can wash these highlights all day. I mean, he was absolutely fucked and roll .

and just drag guys. He was he .

had once seventy six, or that one eighty seven on on the ground the second second most against a former team and any file history. The first was cedric Benson with the bengals when he played the bears one hundred and eighty nine on the ground. So you go sak one was asked about, uh, the emotions surrounding this game in his post game interview.

To be honest, i'm so happy this game is over. I don't think I should get, besides the day, any more questions about the giants. But like I always said, i'm thankful for that organization.

Um there are the team that drafted me. I still got nothing but love and respect for all the guys over there, but i'm happy to be an eagle. And that's about as classes as you can get as a player, and that's what you love to see you.

He was also asked about seeing the fans burning is jersey. He replied, I don't think I ever experience ed anything like that in my life. In that moment, I was ready for thirty and one. H let's just say that, yeah, well, I IT might have been a little revenge game, especially there out there, burnt in jerseys. Is this even fair to call IT a revenge .

game for second one? I don't know, a revenge game I think is a good game. I think it's just he's playing his former team. It's not like I mean, there's obviously bad blood there in in some ways, but schon that was very adamant that he still has a love and respect for. But in that organza, sometimes IT just doesn't work out. They obviously, you the giants weren't willing to spend the amount necessary to keeps him, and that's the way the business works and say, one ended up signing with the eagles and know they they probably felt good to go out there and play really well against a team that, you know, you one point reliant vision playing your whole career for and obviously with the other fans, this whatever fans are getting into the action IT energizes es guys. And for sure, I think he was excited to get out there and play really well.

Should we encourage fans to bow owners and managers more?

I think fans should do whatever they want. You know, I think if IT feels right to booo owners of manager, boom, I don't really know the setting. I guess you could do that games, but don't know how that would come across. Yeah, we're booing. But know, I had a tweet that obviously I said, I really understand why han is a good work.

Listen.

I get why the fan's boot. M, I get you. He's playing for arrival. I get all that. And the new york fans are upset that he playing for the eagles hudi percent at that act like he's the bag and the situation or that it's his fault that this didn't work out, I think is bogus.

And I think you at the end of the day, the business side of IT didn't a line with the giants in in, in sake on. And the giants had an opportunity to make IT a line and they felt like they didn't want to. So I don't know how, say, quan as a bagg guy here for going out and get what he deserved and you.

me.

and to have a star player that is a hard worker, a great guy, the locked room, unbelievable player, athletically, mentally, I just like, I don't know what else you want. I just know know what else you want. Like what are you trying to keep around?

You love to see those guys.

I get IT during a rebuilding here. Either way, I really I listen. I was a part of the decision and clive, on when people were were burning the brand jerseys. That's a much different situation that happened here.

Never been. I still got my shit.

I didn't .

get to heat jersey, but I got some of heat kicks.

and I have a few cakes .

that he worked on there.

And I just feel like, you know, I don't think that this is the same situation.

Well, shut out the sake one for having a big day, helped out the eagles in against his old team, and shut up to the eagles defense, maybe the best performance of the year so far this season, eight, six day as a rough day for a cortisol. They also let up zero office of touches for the second week deven called a stride baby held the giants to one hundred nineteen total yards um big offseason addition dn Price half uh recorded one point five sex over the last two games and switching to a four point states about that you four point both hands in the ground men he's clearly stated .

he prefers rushing out of a four point stance and that's probably making a big difference, let's be honest. The reason there more sex and the reason Price service play Better is because they're getting teams into known passing situations. They're getting him into third long, they're getting needs on offence and they are getting the opportunity to rest the passion. Like, I think the defense of what theyve done the last two years has been impressive. Also been in two, like really bad offences.

And like this is, man, get a good anybody.

You when you keep teams, this would you supposed to do? When you play bad offences, you supposed to do this? You are supposed to get text.

This is a great sign. But like, in order for this to continue, four points nds, two points nds, who is? You're get nice.

That's what IT comes down.

you all right? And I think that right soft is playing Better. The whole the line is playing butter.

The giant opens the line. I mean, they are out their best player. Uh, Thomas didn't start the game. So yeah, they're feasting in and that's a good time.

But I think the big thing is we got to continue to do a great job first, a second out of big fans. You is said this much and we used to say IT a couple years ago, you have to earn the right to rush the passer. Most of the sex in this league, you're not common on first and second down.

You get one occasionally, often naked, or like two minute situation or something like that. But the vast majority acts are common in second along third. Long stay in. Ahead of the change is the defense and having the leaders and office. And if they keep doing that, these numbers are going to keep pretty.

Yes, right now, let's talk about some numbers that do matter. And your fourth down success on he talked about syrian I and his fourth down calls not working, but that is not the case this past.

We no, not at all, especially the fourteen three is a Brown.

How about a baby cup top? He was one four and fourteen three from the forty one in the second quarter. And jAiling connected with you said at A J Price for forty one yards down the field, absolutely epigram.

I mean, they are not expected IT if you trying to do not expected to a couple a on foot.

but you want to come up online. We still get, we still got that dog out there. We like him one on one. I don't know if you know that he's one of the guys we like to go to in that type of situation.

Not a, not a big way to go to in any situation.

You go is out there with the pink shoes again, got a little pink clues. And then with minutes and thirty three left on the in the third quarter, the birds go ford on fourth and two on the five yard line, jailed cramb les for four yards to get the first. And then of course, jailed finishes IT off with a little push, push. Two plays later.

he pushed in.

just like that, the narrow, the flips. Now all the time we like going for forth before.

I hope people remember this because I feel like a lot of the times there's selected people remember when you go forward forth and you don't get IT more than when you go for and forth down and you do get IT for whatever reason, that like is entrench head when you don't get points versus two fourth down decisions that LED to touch down, right. And a game that ultimately without both to those decisions is much closer than the final score ended up being. There were the recall of one of the things you go forward and you .

get IT right. You go get.

what are you thinking? How could you make that great job, coach lebron?

Stead of the game, say quark ley has the most rushing yards in eagles history through its first six games of the season. That's pretty good. one.

That's pretty good. Ys, he's in good company. Mean, he he was working, gets for a long, long time, and filly was dead. Next week, the eagles head to sense to play the bengals back in the ninety baby, you're gona head back to sense he wants the birds.

Man, I would love .

to get a little asiatics pizza.

I don't think I have time. I think for some reason to .

be in pit per the little gad chili.

That's not a farm. I was just back in since in at this best week for homecoming, I didn't stay for the game, but I was there for the week.

Get a little sign. Get a little drink out of your mug or or what? No, no mug. Both teams are coming off a beating the giants and the Browns back to back with that kind of seems weird that schedule the schedules yeah that is we regard like .

that yeah it's an ad maner. I guess they're play in Better. It's where their office look really good against Better teams in the last two weeks.

If you kind of struggle a little bit offensively compared to what they were doing against I washington and some of these other but they got joe borrow. They got some horses out there. I wide out. I think they would be pretty good to come on now.

So have for man yeah before we .

get to our interview, we're going to get to some of the other games across the um from we seven lions take down the underfeed biking in an awesome game. you.

I don't get to watch all of .

yeah that was did not disappoint. The lions have now scored more touchdowns. Then gear gov. Has had in completion that cheeses golf is killing IT and joda is killed in junior .

gibs was playing what and they .

needed to, because my god was, I mean, he got hurt early, is playing a little bit limber. IT looked like give showed up the timing of the office. The creativity is just so impressed to watch right now in rare, the baby and the vikings. I mean, this was the clash of the tighten right now, the NFC. Both of these teams have been probably the two best ones we are .

talking about the other day there. Yeah best division of the ball right now. If you look at the numbers and you .

look at the the records. So did not disappoint. Viking's almost got at late with that fumble recovery .

for I thought they had IT been I thought they had IT when I was watching the replay of how the game ended is just like they're going to leave that one like, man, we should have want IT.

we should have had IT violence go up. And then all but to golf's great, the minds.

they did not blink, they did not a second for thirty three new lands, thought no land back up, obviously didn't have come back there. A little Shawn painting revenge game going back to is a those staff grounds where you want a super bowl. September feels like a long time ago for the .

same fans preter than anybody, fifty burgers and blowing teams out. But like you said, they've had the injury of bad. They've had a bunch again, especially up front. And as you know, once the online has been decimated, especially that office they run, it's so much predicate on they run and play action and the outside zone working in a cubic system. Man, to be to .

be very tough to england.

6 um gave us a coaching drama after the game。 Peter coach drug mail called his teams soft in quotes were a soft football all team across the board we talk about what makes a tough football team and that's being able to run the ball, being stop the on and that's being about to cover cakes. We did none of these.

I mean, very few times do I think the head coach calling a team's soft is like the right message to be sending, even if it's like i'm all being honest and keeping people accountable. That depends is different. They've heard some injuries.

They'd guys leave the obviously that defense even last year, a bill, they were, we play a week one. They were really good. But they also had a judas still there.

They had a bunch of guys healthy, like now they've had some the deepens to change a little bit theyve head guys in and out. And i've got a tone of respect for drag mail. I mean, ton of respect as a player, as a person.

I've heard nothing but great stuff. I'm just talking about in general terms that he could be right. I mean, maybe they are soft. I don't fucking no, I don't watch as much tape is drought mail has that's for any short? I just know most of the time when I hear coaches saying and stuff like that, it's meaning this garbage I hear you.

brother. It's it's tough following a guy like bill beltis shoes thousand percent .

maybe i'm being two open arms about .

IT maybe you fuck and spot on seattle thirty four fourteen seattle got some defends of players back. Geno Smith leaves the na, fell in passing and rank six in completion percentage yeah about that on pace for four thousand eight hundred and twenty and yards at a sixty eight percent. Right, right, right.

yeah. buffo. Thirty four, ten, six, ten. I think everybody saw this come. A josh Allen, twenty one for thirty three for three hundred and twenty three yards and two touchdowns. Josh a looking like john mary Cooper, who had four for sixty six, got his first touched down as a bail like the bills are back on track since nineteen twenty one. Clive and fourteen, the tub scored his first touchdown backs about the tubs neck out there, baby, over three hundred ninety eight days after his leg injury in a versus stealers on tub is back out their plane run on the rock for the Browns.

Green bay, twenty four hundred and twenty two in a game that came down to the wire. But really Green bay, without the turn over count, was dominated most of this game. First Victory over a team with a winning record for the packet ers and used is proven to be tough.

Similar to casey. They continually just like find ways to win, like all the games that we must been close. But C, J.

Straw and company are just so good at the end games. Packagers might have the hot survives in the nfl right now. It's look at this tweet social media teams do in the job.

How important is that piece to success in the nfl? Um I don't even know answer with this. Am I the only one that kind of hates social media teams for nfl teams? Like they've turned into like these mean things and like that's all they do with play.

I like they got the cameras all around and I listen. I am on a podcast. I'm on every fucker commercial that there is. I get IT on part of the issue as well. I fuckyou hate the social media team thirteen now I I just cannot stand up. I don't know why it's like you guys just get the fucking out of my face on this fuck and worry about foobar and then they are like talking shit. The people don't I talk to shit the place like we you should with the fuck .

when the socially this this bullet in board material, yeah, don't be created. This bullet to board material.

hot is yeah well.

that floor, uh, on packing ers players preparing for their first noon game of the year, he said they ve got to wake up with th Epace h ad s o t hat's w here t he t he s ocial m edia t.

eam d idn't h ave a g ood j ob, good job .

and a sixteen mile ten not related to the game. But dolphins are saying we could see to next sunday against the cards .

about the money I count down. Ran Clark, like every single neurologist that they talk to, did not say like that he should stop playing football. And they all don't know to what extent continuing to play foot all or continuing a concussions is doing to, like long term, effective, whether anybody else wants them.

I talk about IT. I guess I will right now, like this has been the like big shadow in the distance of the nfl for the last decade, ever since that concussion movie came out. Like the reality is nobody knows IT is scary to watch a guy go out and have the amount of concussions and the type of concussions are too his head and think that, like, he's not doing something long term here. But the neurologist clearly don't know that he is.

And this is one of the things telling him that .

this is one of the things that I think the nfl really needs to do. Like I overdoing the guardian caps, they're doing a great job of instituting rules and procedures in place that limit how homer contact and protocols IT allow for safe to return to play. I really think that there should be more research done into the longevity and effects that concussions I have in ways to mitigate the potential systems because, like I don't know, I just feels like something that the nfl can be pioneering, especially with the amount of money that IT makes, amount of resources and attention that IT gets, that I can be a part of potentially developing treatments, protocols, lifestyle factors that can mitigate the potential long term ramifications of some of these things that I think is in the background of a lot of other players minds.

Yeah, well, you set a lot of big words in my brain time. And I just wanted to tell too, and where we all support your brother and go out there and just play healthy man, played game, love man, and wish the best luck rather. Washington, forty. CarOlina is seven.

The red or hyo rendez ance was short lived, unfortunately, in CarOlina, or has been short lived, got to a fire start. But obviously, painters are still not a very good football team. Unfortunate washed forty, Caroline to seven the painters declined to even put rush yang in when they're down thirty seven. Nothing should they even go back to briefing? I don't know if i'm breaching uh, I don't know you even want to go back in in the situation .

like rather I mean I I get .

to your complete I mean, they just have so many issues. It's kind of this first year and they're trying to get a fixed hopefully they can get a fix in the future. Now there are so long season left, how do IT is IT? IT is IT must be so hard like being that bad and knowing .

you still have chasing .

stuff on every games nine, ten or eleven, what are they at? What's the care like? Filp, just being honest, I ve played meaningless foobar games and its not fun.

IT is awful, but usually there's like two, maybe three at the end of the season that you're like really trying to hammer out week seven in your one and six. That's a bad feed umbrella, I imagine. Get fired up, boys. Mats and the guy given pregame speeches before the game.

when you're won and sit no speech and .

your head like you will you shut the fucking up one and six, let's fucking and just go out there and tough. We all know what about to happen.

Come on, man, you to Better, we can have that mentality. We can have them talking.

Why we wanted excuse for soft pitzer g dirty seven. New york jets fifteen. The controversial decision for the dealers to start Russell Wilson over just in fields pays off.

I mean, less either justice playing really well. Russell got IT done. I don't think whose weird jets have been so good defensive last few years. Now they're their deline has change a lot. And I feels like that affected them quite a bit. I felt like pitts' just made place, like even on some of these deep balls that Russell through, like there is some and there are some really good place made by the White out.

So and the running lo and what what which is .

jay do? He was until now he was like on twitter. I mean, he told us a few weeks ago, like, they need to hire my rebel then on twitter after the game is like, oh, they should go defense.

They can go defense of coach again. Like, he is no idea. The best part about this is every new york jet fan has no idea why they still suck, and they're all just trying to like, justify why they are still terrible. And they can figure that out. Nobody can. You have one of the best courtmen s ever to play the game, a defense I was supposed to be one of the best in the interface you just strain for devoted of this care was breeze out that all this money only offers online and they still can't fucking win. It's fucking crazy.

It's foobar baby. You just never know the they are.

They're starting to go crazy.

Well, there there's not out of IT.

They're not they're not care on the panthers yet.

It's still kinder still in IT.

It's still kinder. And the afc is not like the nc west.

the nc north north yeah .

and ate the conference that or the division that's loaded this year, you get the bills coming on strong now, but there will be theyll be some space in the bottom of the playoffs. S on the same side of sneak in there and yet rages in the playoffs thing can happen. Game also gave us a coach quoted the week, brain and Marshall stopped by my time to post game press conference and asked him if he was one of the boldest decisions ever to start russia Wilson and time and replied, ah that's why i'm .

more compensated nice yes.

we could just put coach code to to the weekend as my time and quote because every week is going to get some goal the best .

did you hear is, quote, a few weeks ago I forget who they were playing but he was like a monday .

night or or .

thursday I game here with the we ve got to stop kick in our our own but if we stop kick in our own but we anna start .

focus on theirs it's such a singer so good he delivers .

IT too man is a fucking in genuine as so good is the .

best then we got the monday night games. We had the monday night games. The charges couldn't get IT done against arizona. Catherine was scamped and all .

over the place is fast .

to those legs. He looks and feels like he's a video game. And like everything about IT, like IT looks like you created a player, you made them as short as possible his helmet rockin y enormous and they just feet or move .

and so quick it's it's.

it's outrageous how it's feet like I don't even describe throw .

the ball, get like short arms and you could still throw the ball. He's slim when he's .

on possible forty one tamp a thirty one in the game is probably not as closer to score ticket h tap got out to a quickly make a make your m fAllen and then obviously my Evans goes down with the hamstring um and a couple interceptions unfortunately and against a teen like baltimore. Man, it's it's hard, you know, any little bit of thing.

It's hard when you don't stop the run.

Got to stop the run. me. They did stop around in the first time though they did a good job first after they are doing good and lamar was actually throw and .

pretty and well, well, lamar, lamar is twenty three and one against nsc teams, which is a fucking mindblowing stat. And his only loss is actually to Daniel Jones and about new year foobar giants about that. And that does IT for a week seven round up about IT right? Let's answer um maybe one of your not dumb questions because there's no such thing as dumb questions, just dumb ask people note m questions is brought to you by meta quest that's right.

Explained your world already first nowlett question, what breed of dog would make the best quarterback?

Got to be .

smart question. I think.

I think, yeah, obviously you ve got to be smart. You've got to be able to get along with other dogs.

Oh, that's an interesting I didn't anyone think about that.

That's a good trade. So you got to have a little bit of a friendly ess to you, which got to be dependent. What kind of court about you want?

The one I thought about right away, because I always think about intelligence for I think the cortege CS is a border color and border collies. They heard sheep like, they're like in control animals. You say they need to get along with other dogs is a great point that is making me rethink that.

Would I be like a mix breed? Well, I mean, this, i'm a big mutter where that they just do IT responsibly. But yeah, I think most breeds are when I think of dogs that get along with dogs or like anything, really, I think I know there just like the happy dogs on the plan in times of labs, german short is a powerful animal efficient malam. Is that the one that like is like the .

secret service dog? Don't know.

think IT is I like the strongest bite force, but do you need be tall? Be should be a big dog because that needs .

to be able to see .

over the pocket.

But so that's the thing. I don't know a lot of breeds.

I would say poodle, but I think they're too fancy there. There are too like hymens, you know I mean, yes, the ones that I think you're really good, usually you're kind of like I down to earth and I put the two my pets, not high maintenance because you seen this body. I thought there there was a there was a bit on dear Candy that said he doesn't eat free food anymore on my band.

That's why I could never be a running back. That's just like too much of a commitment. I can get a free food.

Yeah I don't don't think that really people of foot, yeah, I don't think that means that makes you Better football. Think that's just what he feels like he is.

Diet needs to be. I'm going to say hi is important. Yeah, I want to talk water back.

I am going doberman berman, smart, athletic, tall. It's a does.

I don't know.

Those things get along with everybody, but they're always out front. You know.

I can't. I can't devere anything you just said. Definitely not irish were found there, stupid as box rocks. And my dogs.

dogs are very.

I mean, Nancy is she's got some smartness to her. H what was boto? Boto was a husky from the disney movie boto.

Boto is like .

the lead sled dog in the sled dog movie.

but also like dogs are husky. Yeah alright. Teamwork are going to .

work within a team. Then you got to one of the front that's like the captain, I think go husky. There you go. Big enough, not like overly big, pretty athletic, smart work with a team. Yeah I think that's .

Thank you. This man is decorated.

Thanks for joining A C. C. This is awesome, kid. Tell you.

And we grew up watching the play and we saw your whole career. An honor to have you on with this. Uh.

how's a go on now? Is good. I mean, make you so old when I hear people say would grow. Watch me.

I know it's silly, man. I'm playing with guys. I'm playing with guys. They were born in two thousand and four men like crazy, that's IT. So i'm like i'm saying, like, man, I was in high school .

two thousand four. This is crazy. You go from being like the Young guy room to like the Young O G.

I mean, you just log where like guys are. Like here, I mean, you were one of my guys going up. You guys, I mean.

it's good to be that guy for I .

was there actually, when you were the Young guy. I the day you opened against the ultimate oils, I was at that game. And I still, because you had to talk of the town coming out to know where big left and and bro IT was awesome. Looking back, being there and watching that, I know, what do you feel like to start your majority debut? 啊?

No, IT was. I was crazy. No, what I was thinking, I mean, just being out there, I couldn't fill my legs the whole time like I was leg, you know, you just so high, like, you know what really going on but the whole time I was thinking I was like, I should went to sleep last night was a day the one of the three to like .

five in the .

that whole year.

like two thousand and one. I mean, that team was so great to play with a bunch of hall of famous. I had robbing omar up to middle. And I just thought, like I ve got a chance to learn how to be a professional. I I don't really know any the twenty years old and I was fresh out of high school um a football baseball player really just like and kind of felling to that teacher mode and um and and kind of a took off. So uh, yeah, I was really learning on the job and to have those type of players around me IT was IT was a blessing man.

That was, that was really ool. That's all. The ninety guards were some of my favorite teams ever. And like you, you were coming into like, kind, like to tale in a lot of those guys careers.

And IT was like men, their pottage hand this thing off to cc, about to take us right back to the world series. We already know. And now MIT IT was awesome.

I remember a Jason talking about that bottom more game. Man, is IT absolutely insane. I was going to ask you, I had no .

idea you at .

the universal in the same, I had a football scholarship to play air when I was in high school. I play football, play best well, play base, play everything. And I could never get a school to commit to me. Like, U, C, L, A would say, okay, you can come here to play baseball, but we don't want to play football. U, S, A would be, like, wants to play football, but we don't want to play based all I thought I on the campus and body to offer the tack, yeah but I want to make sure that I still play baseball so the guy hawaii like, well, let you play back in here. Don't I sure what good reason to there's .

there's a great we had this later in the run, dumb. But because we're talk king about IT right now that we got your highlights brought you are a baller in football. See big bigger sales.

Do you put this on here? There we go. Thank you. Brain, check more loose.

You are.

enormous. I don't think you play attack over.

You play a tied in. But I was two fifty right here. So I got into probe. O, I was two eighty five immediately .

for a very favorite baseball .

or .

with your football. Yes.

would you like so much .

about the football? Always my favorite food. I always, my grow planned out of the streets.

And I just always understood football, a market. You know what? Sit down on a watch a hole game. And I was just always intrigued. So I did get a chance to play until I was in high school because of, like, the weight limits in all of us.

To you. I grew up place in soccer.

You know, I mean, like I grew a place in soccer is a kid. And I got to my fresh room year. And then just fellow with the game of football. So was always my favorite.

They didn't the self .

while they're sling in IT. Well, I tried that, but was my first years play court. And I show my junior about the six, sixty, fifty like, yeah, we got me to put you .

can help us out a lot more right here, because I get a man. I got a similar story before.

again, to the indian stuff. Obviously, everybody y's talking about the world series happened right now. Your form a team the yankees taken on the dragons. Like, guess to step in, in that real quick. What do you think about the matchup?

Now I think this is, this is the biggest, best match up. And I felt we could ahead based. Well, the biggest stars you ve got, walk of beauty, you got get go.

I mean, the list just goes on and on. You ve got new york against holly's wood. I an, I think this is the world series that everybody have been begging for for the last ten years, you know and we finally got to match up. So i'm super excited for, you know what to come in to beyond.

Just watching these playoffs game has been exciting like even just the guardian in yani series, I mean, I went, you know what you were five games, but every game was, you know right down there to the nail guys having big homers and what i've loved about this players the most is like the stars have been delivering, been one soto delivering, has been iron jet, has been a tiny going off. So you know, we're seeing our biggest stars on the biggest stage, and there they're showing up and they're showing out. And i'm excited is right to see, you know, these two heavy ways go at IT.

I am getting pumped for a two men. I just I love going on the world series games when I think i've made IT to like six of the last seven. I think since two thousand, what was a fifteen when the royals won IT? That was like my first experience of, like, worlds ies, baseball. And I was like, bad. These games are fucking .

little .

like IT. Was little kids a city? Like, when when the gink's, when you were, what was that? Oh, nine? yeah. When you guys want IT like how crazy were those games in the cause that was IT still the was IT the new stadium. Where was that though?

IT was the first year dim. So IT was almost we had to kind of win, you know, was that pressure? You know, the boss, but you know, D, S, I, me, A J tax sign, the mix.

I, me, trade of the next wiser. So always kind of a pressure. You know, I want to win in a new stadium, but we had the whole, the core for.

So like this time somebody asked me yesterday, like, how did you feel this time and going to to the world series? I was calm because we had I had 第二个 more。 You had more here.

I had always guys that have been here before. I just kind of ride on a cotai, you know, I mean, like I have here if I just be my little part and that's how to do too much. I feel like, you know, I helped me be able to be Better in those bigger moments.

I feel like including in all seven, we had the best team in the league. We were Young. I was the leader that staff and I feeling about fits Better and up. And if I am able to put out, if I, to make those moments a little smaller in, you be able to, to show a bigger those moment. We went the world series. So that's why was IT, you know I mean, like kind of learn from those and seven and eight and you know nine, i'm just like i'm just right behind these guys and do more of the thing and what a .

ring and I feel you on that one. And I ended up obviously stick around and casey, but like learning from the moments that I had previous in the playoff. S man is like, you look at those moments.

Like, man, I could, I had control of that. If I could have just tweeted here, if I could showed up for my guys right here, right here, and you just, you just know that you could you could have definitely propelled the team. And you know that the greatness that you.

that you bring to the game big up. But that's me with the city. A clear window you know in in that organization because I feel like this has been star before world series.

In all seven, we were closed sixteen. They were closed sixteen. But that team in all seven was really, really good. And who knows, we may say together, I may not up yet if we win the real series and say, like, I didn't have the .

pocket books keep.

you never know.

The world series checks a little different now.

never know.

Let me actually this because filter ala the files have been close the last few years. You are just talking about the locker room and like the core for what is IT that enables a team that has like a talent to do IT between get to done and knocking at. What do you really think that isn't baseball specifically .

is just moment, to be honest. If you look at like the the files running into the matter, IT was just they played them at the wrong time IT back. And and sometimes when you play in division, you look at that they be at land a couple years ago when atta was the best thing in the league.

When you go and play team in your division in the playoffs, the mets don't care about going in the filly. And you know, i'm saying, doesn't big event of films like going into citizens park has the play and means go and show up and you know, hit big home run? So this is IT makes IT hard when you play those things in your division. And I think those three teams for the next five years are going be battle in that for the division and to see who's going to the in the s to be honest.

what you who do you think going to take the world series? If you .

don't know me as true?

I I.

I got got I think it's going be a long series though. I mean, I have friends. I mean, i'm i'm really close with monkey bets and really close to really freeman you know root with those guys too. But um you know being here, being a yani, being you know in new york, um you know I really I just been watching a team all year and I would IT would be big for us in me if if they were went the world city, i'm excited and hopefully .

they can get IT. Then you know.

you have a favorite stories from your time with the yankees or the guardian s like what favorite teammates maybe or me play with some iconic people in, especially with the Young kee's.

obviously but anything you wanted share yeah I dance and family yeah a play with tone uh robbi and and a oma r up the middle. I M I can give you a create rob. Rob story is probably not proud.

He he's a smart baseball play. I will play with my rookie year. I go seventeen and five uh that rookie year two thousand and one and i'm starting game three um of the D S and in seattle playing at home in the first thing.

I think I gave up a run or two, maybe even three rounds in the first singing and i'm a little nervous. I mean, i'm twenty one years old. You first play off game and crazy.

I'm walking off the field and rabby comes winning by me. He goes a pip. He was wrong and he goes, you a little nervous and I go, you know, a little nervous, but I be fine and he was like, he came to me.

I set down on the bit. He came to me. He was like, don't shake email off the rest of the game like whatever he puts down, just thrown a pitch and, you know, will live with IT on guy.

He was a second. I was a rookie too. He was a second base, the pitch, he called the, he called the day second, I give up a run foot arrested game. He called the game from second day ever.

he was .

given ignited signals. He was given ignited signals. And I was, he was give, giving me the pitches.

And have you ever heard of that? Have you ever heard of the .

second base doing?

I've never heard that?

No, that's amazed. You think he just him and saying he just talk so much that Roberto ended up finding a way to like kind of pick Sandy elma's brain, his brother's brain, or was he just I think .

that and just him just the ability and just been able to do, he just knew the game like he would always and that's how kind of I learned kitchen from sit next to great hitters, whether there was him or at murray, you know, all was the best in these guys who know what was coming next. You know, i'm saying just by whatever the count was who the guy was on the man, you know who the guy was in the box and that's how kind of learn how to seek with my pitches and kind of learn how you know to read guy swings in different things like I don't watch a lot of video. I was just three guy swings and kind of piece of my streams, and I got back from sitting next to guys like robby and any murray along and Alice, and just really soaking in from hitters.

One of the things I think is a cool thing in baseball is that that cat mouse chess match is going on between the heater in the pitch and the ketcher. Like what you're decided to throw, how your certain pitches up, like what how much goes into IT from, like a game plan before the game, and like knowing what each batters weaknesses, how much of IT is.

Know what, you because of everybody knows your fast bond slider were like the biggest thing you got you have going on. But like. What goes into that the pitch selection, that process? I don't even know. I answer question, but it's something that's cool as well. yes.

no. I mean, that depends on a guy, right? Like a guy like does have a lot of preppy, like he sits now, he does a lot of prep and he's going through, you know, every line of every scenario, every heart.

And he's a guy I can tailor his game. He can throw every pitch for strike any and every, quite right? So he can pitched really to guys weaknesses where a guy like me would you just say my fast while my slighter my things, right? So I got to a sick of my so if there's a guy like my trout has built on sliders and the slide is much train, when we will see you fucking Better today.

Do what? So figured that out about myself, IT was less press for me because now I can just go out and really just pit on my strings and really, you know, command to place the way I know how to and not try to worry about what everybody else is doing. So I didn't really do me any good to watch anybody else this film because i'm not going to pitch the way that guy pitched you anyway.

I will go to to what I can do, what I have that day, and we don't figure that out. So IT was always just a lot about me ring swings and figure out what I had that day. My catchers been a lot of prep, and I had a lot of, I relied on him a lot. I didn't shake off a lot, whatever, whatever they put down. I would just start with conviction in you know, we go with because .

I think IT fascinates me is going to feel like the pitch catcher relationship is very similar to the center cordia a relationship for .

what you just said I was .

there's a lot of communication back and forth. You each have prepared in your own way to ready for the game, and you kind of the best tandems figure IT out together. But what you what do you think of the modern state pitcher? Man, I don't know what to make.

Like what this is talking about moving on the mound back, he said, is too.

Because the the philosophy is change, guys, these guys don't try to put the bottom play as much as they be. More now is just all about launching and you know getting their a swing off. So there's that in the line of our constructed where you have to kind of pitch through the lina, everybody is trying to do one thing in align and that just hit the wall over the left hia wall or to right through the wall. So that makes them a lot easier for me to pitch when all you're trying to do, and every single cow is this Jacobo not trying to put the water and play or not try to put put the bear on IT. And that maybe guarding so good.

they would just find in a way to.

on base last year, really great. They don't here for a lot of power, but they were on based and they could put the bottom played and strike out a lot this year doing that. Would they put the bottom play in that struck on a, but didn't hit ten for slugging, never hit ten doubles in homers in neighbor, you know?

Mr, so that would make them so great this year. So I think the game is kind of coming back and we ve worked back to where, you know is more influence on put in a ball in play and that just, you know, uh, exit below and launch angle. And I think we've been changing the rules so much.

The hitters that is kind of swinging where you have to change of physical. Hy, we can't keep change in the flutter rules. We take you change in the rules when these guys like this.

when they keep change, those crazy .

is cool. And I am sure fleshing for you guys that is a fan of the F. L.

Is cool, that they're willing to try different rules and change different things about the game. Were in baseball. IT took us for ever to get me in a ship. What we all know that that was the right thing to do, right? Put peach clock in.

So IT is based on, you know, we get so much grief, and we changed the rules where now watching the fun to kick off in nfl, and I know you never, but as a fan is cool to see that the NBA does that. I feel like baseball we need to you stay up to speed with, you know, keep in our game relevant. I think I feel like this year we we've been see in the player s it's death .

fully feel like it's bled to more exciting play IT feels like it's LED to more office of production.

Some of the rules i've changed the game of shorter. I mean, you don't say you can watch a full game and that felt is taking up your whole day and we're not missing any action.

right? How do you think you would have handled the the pitch counts? And like the less like I feel like you you were still pitching like full games at times in your career and that never happens anywhere as as that happened once in the playoff so far has been a starting picture. That pitch on line ending yet they .

used to be like change I could not will be in yeah, I don't think there's that's a great question. I don't think there's been a guy is going to complete yes and no. I want to do well with IT.

But what I guys aces come out IT was the fifth and eighty nine minutes with no grapes like if that was if that was, you know, back in the day, I mean, there was no chance that only so I got one hundred twenty minutes in the playoff. S yeah, so is a different philosopher. I feel like everybody's built these super ball pins where, you know.

you look at, yeah you look at .

the two teams that are in in the world series like they're gonna games where it's going to be relieved. Red, I will start the game in the world series. That's crazy.

You don't saying so. Just the weight the teams are, rashes s are constructed, the ball pains are are the best part of these guys. These organza teams .

back to the world series, you think, show tony finds a way to throw a naming here.

There may be crazy if we close out again right about what on itch I an if he's health, why not bring .

that yeah .

you to do um and he he can do IT at the high .

love when he's .

been drawn and so if he's healthy, I mean, I don't see why that i'll be interested to see how to use and go forward anyway know if he's gonna a start on, you know, long relief at, I be interested see and maybe we can get .

a preview right here. nice. Oh my god. Anthy rizzo was caught.

Always call in the bulk in in the fourth inning paint call in the bulk in and forth inning. I got out that he was doing that all year. This year. Did you guys ever have that on any of your teams? You have somebody that was always prying call.

and you guys in the bulk enter, you know who was the biggest bank at all? Seems that I play what was break gardener but I mean, he would do I mean like, wow, crazy. So I mean, not one time we had our video guy, he had we had we, he took his a, his started for his key, like the took the battery out.

So this guy took the truck. He had a about a brand new truck. He took the battery out of the the life here. So the guy took the truck back to the G, N, C, plays, and the trucks out again.

And when they open IT up, P, F, P, F, put a picture of like himself, like this size in the battery thing in. IT, right? Guardie was the best banker. But when you said in the pool in in the whole time, like your stomach is just hard, this really ever played every .

forth painting.

like he's call them down me and like somebody to themselves ready? I I went to hear .

one of these things, men, they got to record one of these things is he call him like the pizza, like deliver for .

pepperoni. And twelve is pepperoni. And you ve got the hot ways today.

I've got to hear one of these days results. Funny health for that. Now they definitely share record results funy. And that's like I said, I mean that's that's a good way to lose IT up and keep IT like but is hard man during the baseless season to to you know have different ways to get my agony the hand and sixty two through the season.

how do you guys get ready for one hundred and sixty two games? Jesus, like I know pitches, but I was .

like to say, yeah.

it's insane to me that there's that many and like there's a football player once a week that feels like too much but three games, three.

four days, everyday means is every single day but like, I feel like your your schedule with football is like your home all week, right? But every day you're up from like nine to five like meetings from nine to five.

Yeah, so is just like a so everyday is mean so is that mean basso ofa is basis the same thing like we know we have to be up at the park by the bus is at two two thirty our day really don't start until like yeah yeah so you get up you mean, do whatever you need to do buses at two game at seven I mean, I just comes because IT comes IT becomes a party of life. You for me as like a pitch watching position. Players like I always acted like, how do you do this shit everyday? Or like correy catching a hundred and forty five, you know, like IT throughout the summer and you got these different pictures and guys coming in.

So being a position player in the big leagues is vastly underrated, I felt. Don't with cover, can did is incredibly underwater and will never ever be fantastic. Nobody would ever come close to doing that. They so nobody what I mean, yeah I mean in every sport though, right like yes, every sport now they have low management where guys playing, I mean, I just so i'm b so he will never play a back to back again and crazy and no, no, no yeah it's cram saying so I mean, is just one of those things where, you know you watching these guys get up and and do this every single day and that's I for me out I love the wives like the guys now like many h many merchants or pretty freeman or muky these guys post and I know how hard that is to do in this day and age and uh, you got to tip your hat to these guys.

I mean, pretty pretty with .

his ankle.

right?

I got the players to see a guy over the whole summer. And you do not saying like that process a huge rAiling and .

living room so that I team.

yeah, i'm not going to be fine. But like thirty percent of party treatment is Better than one hundred percent. anybody? SHE give me, my god.

we're going to get to this to the study of career and then the guardians. But we work all about rules and how they've changed some things. I've got to ask you a question, what is one rule that you would change to make baseball Better?

The biggest rule I would change to make baseless Better IT would be, uh, every get away day. So every game that you play on the road at get a way day, we have to be a digging. So like, so like, you guys want most like every day, so like more.

As a yankee, we play, you come in the play the files on a thursday. I will want to be a dag game and not a seven a clock game, so I can get out, not a night game. If that's a day game, we can get in to the next city or get home at a reasonable hour. But the game is we always because we're always the gate for the daggers or boston, whoever else, then we always get a nights name and then we are in at four or five in the morning with a game at that. So IT would be universal.

Get away. There has to be a .

big definite of the players presented that as .

an option. IT only .

affects such a small portion of the league that that no no nobody has really um presented IT that .

makes sense there.

But I have been you know in league office i've been sent know that we need to fit correctly ce and get you know make IT to even plan, feel travel wise for everybody. I feel like such a big thing. Now what guys you know what they're sleep and you know getting arrest in.

And I feel like IT puts some of these bigger marketing in the filings doges. The end is at a disadvantage. Yeah when the men five in the morning.

every city the T V. Networks want to keep in my games too, just because it's like prime time stuff like that. But yeah.

sometimes you're going to look out for the players for sure. Two to the summer fact, we give us one. And you know we got .

plenty of T, V games.

So I saw you at the actually last year's world series. I saw you down there in dallas, and I realized that you're staying involved with the MLB. You're like an ambassador program. Is there there you can you elaborate on IT?

yeah. So I started working with the league in twenty twenty one as a special systems of helping with players of party relations. I have a lot of relationship with in the league.

You know, we go around to do meetings, you know, and let rob getting front of the players and know any questions that they have, making kind of know a dress in right in front of know how meetings when I was playing. I don't have that access. I'll feel like this kind of help.

You know what play relations or having guys feel comfortable um coming to the league office with you know whatever problem that they had. Um you know I was able to last year to do, you know some things that rick, we had the game and rick with alabama between the giants and the Carters through a big software game down there. Um you know just kind of and a Willy maze. Um so i've been able to say, you know in the league, in league office, stay within the game and that's been a lot of fun is for me when I when I got don't plan out retired, I was like I I don't based all I will be around baseless and baseball. I just like we are a baseball family, so just give me in .

the love and see if you thought about into the brocas and stuff. Why know you double a little bit here and there? But have you ever got approach by some of the networks are .

thought about doing IT? Yeah, no, last year and two thousand and nineteen, I actually worked at E, S. B.

And get up first open. When I first open at the c port studio. Yeah, IT was good for me to be able to do that.

And I was like, yeah, what I do because that next year I would have signed up and I would have, you know, to mean, I want to wait full board and like I don't like I fit, like I can talk about sports in my own way and that be in a suit. I don't want to be dressed talking about, you know, and I watch our sport. And for me, I want to talk about every sport.

I watch a lot of in fail. I watch a lot of basketball. Obviously, I love baseball, but I mean, I want to talk about everything. And I feel like, you know, when I was at me and I just .

me only talking about baseless, so what we got, we play the last vegas st. Raters this this .

week and .

I heard .

I think you .

be a readers with, I said in the year was.

Rome the .

winter is they make IT so hard to be a very, very light yeah from trading the vta or not getting the quarter back in the off season to everything that goes on. I'm a die hard you am a die hard rater fan like yeah IT runs through my blood. I have to go to one or two games a season where i'm in bag as I have to go to a game person.

And I did that last year. I went to to my stealers game and the rater stealers game but is harder, is so hard I have the roof for a winner, man. And and I feel like in the east. And what's your .

favorite? What to watch them if besides baseball? Is is the nfl the next the thing you like watching the most?

yeah. And in a basketball, obviously, but I watched a lot of her, my league soccer, i'd go over to watch a lot of soccer actually going over next month to watch every madrid watching boil over there. Like I say when I was saying earlier, I couldn't ay pop Warner football growing up.

So I had to play soccer. My family, like you can play some in the winter. So had me going in soccer, and I kind of love with. And like I said, I understood a lot of sports, and I was Young, and I really just fell in love with. So I still go over and I watch a lot of for me.

I think we all three of us kind of have that similar like appreciation for all sports and understanding all the games rule or yeah every each games rules and everything tell this will make because you can play in high school. We are talking about an earlier, we saw the highlights. Do you sometimes you watch, you watch these N, F, L games, do you like? And I did. I can do.

I won't take is different. I won't think. I mean, yeah, I was pretty good in high school.

I don't know how what was the cow was like I said first, when I got ject about about the indian's guard's indians back in, I was two hundred and fifty five pounds, went home the off season when I came back in february, I was like two eighty five to ninety. So i'm telling you, I show up on a college campus. I'm office to tackle right away. So, you know, saying in life I have been different, but no, I mean, I appreciate what you guys can do out there. And no, I mean, I would have been interesting, but I I don't know if I got to play as long as I played in baseball, in in film.

man, nineteen, and football is insane. And my guy, merced y's Lewis, though he's doing a titan right now, he's in his ninety year and man at hats off the say's he's unbelievable throughout his entire car. Remember watching him over there in Jacobean and just in all that, i'm still he still in the league doing IT at the highest level, which is crazy.

A J Brown phildee. hia. Eagle himself has said he can play in the M, L, B stands on IT.

You've been asked about IT. Do you think he could touch anybody in the league? Do you know .

I seen A J swing. I've watched he was like, a pretty good player. I saw do some perfect game. He went like, the high level, perfect game stuff.

So yeah, I think any guy like that, like that, play baseball with that long throughout high school, has a chance to still play and swing about. You can see down the medal he can know he's still doing. He is still play like, k mary. Yeah, here, you know, he played baseball college.

So I feel like pat my homes out there .

playing baseball, really good baseball play. yeah. And I feel like he showed up a in football game just watching them like he runs around out. They're like you every single thing. And I feel like a lot of the good quarter bx like that when you're like like the baseball effect, where you can kind of draw from you know .

angle a whole other skills set really just out there, almost like A N one best ball player, somebody that said the park, they really know how to driver the just different, have their own version of the men. Well, as you did, how what do you think the easier transition is baseball, uh, to football or the ball to baseball?

I think IT would be baseball to football. I think IT would be harder to change this from football to baseball, you know, I mean, and this is even like for me, I got draft because I was a good ball player and up, you know, you know, I was just an athlete I gift in the first row. Even when I got draft, I was on the formal with band down.

I'm like in up playing for his base of my pitching. Like I had no idea, you know I mean, and in my mind I was like, hey, I can go play based longer, take with me and I was, I can do this for two years and I can go back to house. Chris, he had did that. You so like there's there's guys there was examples of meat, like there was examples of guys I had took the based more money and then went to play football ball. And I I think IT would be a lot easier if you are based, if you doing both, if you pick baseball, you can always fall .

back to go play football. We try to have a fall back guy. Tim tibo, do IT, not too long ago. Tibo is in the minors a little bit.

They're been some guys have .

tried how difficult is IT to get drafted and then immediately go .

into the miners. It's extremely hard to first from high school, right? Like somebody like me, you know, you know, I was a guy like I went from mom, mom washing my uniform method game to like number of the you don't say like this is every single day like in time to do your plan two days maybe friday and and when you when you turn pro I got I was seventeen years old so I didn't turn eighteen until you know three exactly I got drafted so wash clothes they just dropped you off in the you've got to figure out to go to the wall part, you don't say you're got to figure out how to manage your money.

You got got to figure out which you've going to eat, how much feel you going have, you know throughout the day how to work out how to do kind of everything. So you you go from being like amateurs. You're literally your approach and this is you in a bunch other high school cat and know fifteen other the minute an guys I said you don't say like you really trying to figure IT out like was IT was a cultural si IT was a rough I mean, the first three nights of my professional career, I cry home. I called home cry. I was like, do I have to like, if I come home, do I got to get this money back? Like here.

vice 吗? Advice 吗?

Pretty rough like so that's why I mean, I have a junior in college right now. He goes university used and I wanted him to get that college experience. I wanted him to be able to grow up the a man before he entered that minor league, because he didn't have to, he didn't have to make decision I had to make. I had to make that decision because my mom needed the money, didn't have to make that decision. He he can grow up, you know, go out in in place in a baseball, grow, mature and then become.

I hear you.

we got to get the clever, yeah.

I know what to talk clearly, baby. Yeah.

what was your time? Like cliver, not just as a player, but like in the city. Like what you, what do you remember? And like, really take away from your .

time and live A I love always people like, I was born in a race in the law california, right? Like I was a mean of you open up my soul. There is a little probably a box in .

there with mag jay plane.

you know, raised a to my soul。 But I grew up in clean. I got to clean up when I was seventeen years old, and I stay until I was twenty eight.

Three year to four of my kids were born there. Um know my wife, I got marry there. Um know I live, I live with a host family and shaker high my first two seasons.

And I love .

the eve really, really enjoying the inside. I mean, I was going to rent a park mall to get on my clothes, you know, so yeah, that's so.

I used to jump to, I used to run over to shake a square to go see you play because the rapid right down.

you know, I was my home and and you know, I stayed in off season and I mean, I went to cash games. I was there when I was tracked the jail and and Ricky dak, so I think I grew up in I am, you know so um that city you know hold a special place in me, my wife's heart and you know even my kids if you you know you talk to my city now is ohio state fan. You know my daughter I love you know being from you know west lake or they they say west lake ohio but yeah being from pleasant, so nice yeah I mean IT is very good to our house and like always say I am a born a raising cali.

That's also, you were talking about a the caves man. Did you ever catch lebron, the wave of lebron before he got drafted? The company? Like, did you catch him? Say and say, very.

I did. So we had this a programing and uh, with the indians, he s and is what the guardians called the development program bring to, so we would be out there to hold much. So are uh bigly, uh, trainer. His name was fast because that he was a, he would referee A A U and high school girls. So one year in the in the winter he kept talking about this kid.

He was like, ah, you got to come see this kid play a selling all of us, he selling me day risk is all these different guys that with the garden of the time because I got you got to see this guy play and we're all like, no chance we're going to see a eight critical play has like basketball, right? 我要给你 弟弟, 你 弟弟 来到 40分钟 够 we come back the next off season。 He's like I I got a Better prop for you like the kids playing red across the street, like he's playing in the gaza.

Rena, we can wap and the neath, we can go. We can watch again. He is a fresh man. We have four, eighteen and twenty. Time I was going, every time I came the same .

time I guard out .

a way to go play foobar very Young, very early.

So I guys A A time i'll tell you, I try and like tell people about because I I went some at the winds and I saw a clever state he had, I mean, he was selling out arena so much you couldn't put him in a high school arena for like the big time games you ve had to go to like a bigger arena. Yeah, man, IT was unbelieved. I was sign up in the nose bleeds, and you could still see how big he was on the core, compared everybody you can see. And you can see .

the stars I would come to employ, like IT would be. Everybody would show up, been cleverly like, from shake to AI to whoever else like coming to, you know, going to the game and like even back again, like you say, a try. Like you can see, he was way big to anybody and way more killed.

But he would always make the right basketball play right, like he could score sixty points in those game. He would always get up with twenty four eight. You don't think like he's making in the right basketball play every every time of wasn place.

And he was in the press high school. He's done the right. He's done the right thing on the court every single size that as well. I T was off .

the charts. I still remember gone to know that game. No, man, he was unbelieved. He went off the backboard in a game. And at that point my life, I was just like.

I want to be the next round baseball .

over a hockey going in a high school. A lot of that was because I was like, man, just makes baskets look so fun and sports look so fun.

Big thing for you guys like to like living, including, like chosing, like over hockey, like, because hockey is a big sport out there.

I is a big winner sport. Yes, I mean, we grew up playing hockey. Alice, I was five. I think Jason was a little bit older. But when he got into, I immediately got into a stance like the the lowest level of of at least organize hockey.

And on top of that man, we just we had so many, we grew up with the same guys, the same team mates throughout our our lives. So is like we we had a connection with like the team and everything. And that that was definite the hardest thing for me going in the high school was figure out which winter sports I was going to play was IT going to be hock hockey. Er baskett. I ended up hanging up the the skate.

But yeah, he was weird because we played everything, and we even played like two sports in the same season. I like, look back. Like how the hell do we have?

Like, how to trap, play basketball and hockey? I like wrestle and played hockey one year. I like, I like was it's weird thinking back that we were even able to do that your parents somehow made that work. I don't even know .

the things I was looking at picture, right? All like is crazy.

I feel like it's baseball deals with this a lot where kids like just play baseball year around.

Definitely in the south for sure.

I'm such a big proponent of playing as many sports. You came on your Young cause IT just develop you more. But he feels like I I know hitting is like you want to be a good hit.

You you got to hit a lot.

But but too much anything is a bad thing, right? Don't have to hit that much to be like. We didn't hit that much.

Like I was sixteen baseball games when I was a kid. You don't saying like like the little schedule. And then when I was in August, we say football or whatever car you like, we're playing the sport. And I think, yeah, I A lot of these kids get burned out in their sport, whatever IT is, because they just specialize way too early.

And I feel like you play these other sports and makes you so much a Better athlete and IT makes you Better in your main sport, right? Like, football made me so much Better as a baseball player. Basketball made me so much Better as a baseball player. He is a footman. And like being so being be able to move back and like, you know, say, like these things make you into your ultimate you ultimate athlete when you play just one thing yeah, you can get good at that one thing, but you're not as athletic as you ultimately be if you play these other sports or even like your mentality plan, your main sports changes .

when you please use of the sports .

become more well rounded man. And with.

He is setting on the line. If you want to lose the line. Yes.

yes.

I just had the ability to driver while doing that. If I just had the ability, i'd be in the NBA.

He want to tell you he he's got Brown the same with the same mary and he like .

like a safety like a miles garrett too. Like he's the same. He's he's kind of like a hoper like that we need to do and he's like he had this one .

move last year. He hit over a center for what team is playing, but he's literally like acting like a bus ball player doing to cross over before the snapp and then hit him and killed them on a one to one. I was, I do that. I got up at this because I don't know. But what the heck is that free to move right there?

But yeah, we talked about a little bit about a Roberto and omar and maybe D S, who were the guys that like that metered you, like when you first got into the league, like maybe even like when you were planned in the minors, like who was that one guy you should always like the trying to figure that one person you could always lean on and you know show show some love to because they helped you out .

the tremendous mount who that who think that guy was for you you know IT was um you know early in my career IT was many remerge has yeah yeah everyone and many was the first many was the first rounder I think in ninety three um I was the first round I came I came out ninety eight and we would all like in winter haven, in the spring training, we all kind of stated the same hotel.

Like the Young guys in the minor leaves, we all say the hotel and like somebody Younger, big leaders would stay at the hotel and many he would kind of stay at the hotel in his Younger days. And when I first came around, he would take me out to eat. Not as different stuff in a one time were coming back from eating.

And this is like, let me, we hang IT out, maybe like a year or two now. And this is like, you know, the third this spring, china, that we come back from and he go, he looks, and he goes puppy where you never speak space. And I would go.

many. So he was many early. We have a great .

relationship that's .

David justice was there early when I first got to the big is that was Alice berl. He bought me my first two when I got made the team and he really that but that first year, he really taught me how to be a pro, took me under his wing, told me what that, what to do and what that to do, because I was, I was so Young, I was so Green, I had no idea. I mean, I don't even know how many image you had to kissed IT to get a win at that point. You know, i'm saying, like, I like so I was really, really, really learned on jan.

Nice man.

We asked this question to, uh, not know who meet you. Do you have one one moment? I was like you're welcome to majority baseball.

The best story I felt I felt like I was like one of the guys was um so after my first start, I think I don't think I won the game. Maybe not I don't win the first start. So the second start with a pitch and detroit um and I went five years ago about four runs.

We fly a bottom more and we get in early weve got the dinner, I did not get in the wind and nine detroit, we got a dinner to guys take me out and I had like a suit suit on yeah. And I just remember guys like stuff in, like money in my pockets. Like everybody was like they took me out and they were like giving everybody hand and me like money, like cat. I remember like waking up the next day, I moment .

of my .

life.

I yeah IT was like.

what if I was like to, you know, the moment which was, which is pretty good out that kind made me like I was a part of.

you know, I like that Better due in the n file. We take the rookies out and they got ta buy like this absurd dinner all money. I like that Better. I like that. that's.

Yeah and that I first got called up IT was a lot of hazen IT was a lot of, like, you know, Young guys have to do this, do that and yeah, now it's a like different and you know for me, uh, I wanted to be different. I won the Young guys to come up and feel comfortable um you know be a part of team. You know I I don't want any of them to go to the stuff I want to so we we can change the culture a little bit and guys to come up and good.

That's also a nice how many nineteen seasons?

nineteen? six? Yes, I was you.

You said you threw until you couldn't anymore if you went. If you .

try to throw baseball, what does that feel like now, if you try to do that, if I try to throw hard when catch to M B T with him, but my shoulder, which is good as a good thing, because I was still be trying to play like you come on the boat right now, because I would be be itching to come out of with somebody d's people right now, trying to give another ring.

I been saying for the past, like three years, that woman keeps us me about retirement. I'm like, i'm a place to the wheels fall off I thought I just stuck in love, compete men. I like being out there on the field and shown enough for the guys next to me.

This is just what I love to do. So I can only imagine what I really felt like when the shoulder started to really mess up for. And you are you we're able to like have the success that you want to to have. I'm sure that was a tough, tough time for, you know, come to realization .

with that is but I was like like I knew I was going to be good at retirement.

唱 这一首歌 tirely well, I got I got heard two thousand and four teen, which is just last season, and I didn't really travel that year and I was like, i'm my first summer off, you know, we played a whole summer so we don't like we never get memorial day or july like don't know what that's like.

So at first year, after summer, I like, oh, will be like really good every tired after that, like every year, they kept prepping into where I was like every road trip, like i'm packing on my food. I like, you know, like we're before i'm i'm happy to like packing and go with the guys and like, you know say, hit the road now you know said i'm missing this this game or his daughters competition or this stuff. So I got to a point where was like, you know, when I started, you know, give me upset about packing. It's like a sign for you to be home. Yes.

for sure.

And now i'm in the locker room with guys I have more common with my fortune's o son and they having kind of with me, yes, so you know, it's time ago. I mean, as much I love the compete, as much as I love the game, I don't miss anything about that. I got to feel a lot of you don't say like I want a championship.

I got know, I got to do and at the highest level, what I consider one of the best organizations. So I don't I don't miss IT at all, you know. I mean, like i'm i'm good with IT and I mean, I just love watching based more now love man hand.

Like you said early, you're still doing a lot with the league and be in that voice for players and that connector, we got a segment on the show called we got to ask you don't so so let's rap. This is crazy covey of with the dissemination, and it's exactly what IT sounds like. C we're going to ask you some rapid fire questions. And I mean, you get literally tells the fuck off you can answer, have some fun just going started with the first.

Yeah, our pitches the most, a superstitious professional thleep out there.

I think baseball players in general, I think baseball players have to be the most superstitions, athletes on the planet, for sure.

How to say? I weird superstitions .

you've seen over the years. What's the weird one? The we are.

I mean, G R eight, the same thing every single day. He would like being a Better and honey stand. He would take a bite of in and through. The rest should out.

I I had a .

great way put in for me like I was always like. So before I start to had to be in the hat to bit like four twenty three, yeah, I had to be out of that, had four thirty four on the training table for like time. So like the way you had to be walking out, added the lockers at four at six thirty six, like what my jacket and everything like. So IT was always like about the time for me and and .

I would always go in. There's always a list on the in the locker for football that tells you what time is position as to be out. And I would go and find out when the centers of cordia c said to be out for snapping, and I would work back every fifteen minutes, I would have, like, markers are okay at one hour before that, taking a premark out drink in doing this at forty five minutes, i'm taking my end time flame a joy at thirty minutes.

也 不知道 你。 的 眼神 for me.

you guys are crazy and I came to do that and I am so bad the time and I most inconsistent person in the world. So I, I, I was like, man, I mean, not just set myself after failure here on so you don't have no routine like .

that before the game time I mean .

then make sure I take that any time flame I on, not the only one I got and sometimes that you forget to take that and so i'm like, right about to go out.

Have you ever been out there and realized you forgot to take IT?

Yeah.

yeah, I feel so bad. Oh yeah.

That's why obviously you you turn .

on the s on monday morning. You see here, chair is really slow in the first quarter.

Now never what I got tough .

ball park.

you ever played tough is .

ball park. I think some ways it's a .

ball park to play in way.

I think so. I mean, just an atmosphere, a the Green monster. You you have to change the way you pitch in that part.

And like, you know, we talk about IT earlier. I don't like to change pitch of my stuff. I do what I do. And maybe you have to actually change the way you pitch because of the war. So I think thing way was always a tougher .

place of pitch. What a home feed, man, crazy.

Do you have one bad you face in your career that just like you're glad you never got to face them again, we just IT, for some reason had your number.

Man, I mean, I wish I was just one guy. I was, I just one guy, but many remember s for sure. I mean, he would always get me in the biggest spot.

And IT got to a point where I was just like, I mean, there was one, one game where tony, tony paying here. He was catching ordinary. He was like, just done more slides today. So IT was like a game around slides and was to change up today. You know, like there's really that I could do underhand .

like this.

I'm going going to turn right hand. I'm just going to start things of who's who's all amount rush.

more pitches. Wow, I ve been ask that question. I would have to go ferguson.

Jakins, for sure. Oh, OK, I would have to go. Bob, yes. Son.

okay.

Randy Johnson.

the unit, unit.

And I put in pedro up the pedro.

pedro nai rose. so. Alien figure.

yeah, he was Nancy man paja was paja is nci and he, like, he would come after you, you know, like he said yes and he will come you so those would be my page .

or do do you seen page or with the fingers? But you start stretching your hand every day.

need tell. Is everybody knew that about right?

Like, do you still believe in the model? Mass equals gas? Absolutely.

absolutely. I had to be over three teen to be able to throws up the ball over ninety five, much like biggest. I teched was like, three thirty eight.

I would pitch IT like him. Yeah ockley yeah. hockey. Early, early new york days. I was like, three thirty.

I, I want, I want on a trip to italy one time I came back and I was like, I didn't way my house was past and wine, but I came back. I was three forty six. I've never get get on his scale. And like three forty eight.

And so take a few.

Take in december. I got like six days. I need to .

be back .

to too much people for heard crazy.

I was doing eliminate die while I was doing like a caye pepper with a limit. Like I was just try. I I got back. And no, I got, I got back.

This, my weather kend of the city. Dead boys over here. We we make a shake, you make a change. And then what is your advice to to kids getting into baseball now, man, if you had some just a little bit of vice, you can to .

some of Young people, don't take a two series, play other sports, but but have fun and enjoy the game, and really be a find game. Watch baseball, go to games. If you can go out and play with your friends.

I think the more that you are a fan of baseball, more you fall in love with IT, and Better you become as a player. But I think you really need to be offended his name to understand IT and to really know what he is to love. IT.

i'm with you on nt.

brother. Oh yeah, I saw we. Man, what are you got any questions for us before you hap about about here?

I mean, you guys both, I mean, play in, you know, super bowls or at the highest level. Like what would what would your voice be as like as far as, like get there or you know work in towards? Like did you ever did you work? Because I never work to play in like in the world series or to be in the hall of fame or like IT was just always just trying to get Better a one day at a time. Was that would you guys? Or was IT like, no, i'm i'm trying to win superbos or this .

is like my go well, i'll answer first because I feel travel. They've won't like two in a row, so they might already be .

thinking about the superb for me right now.

You're always focused on winning the day, right? You always focused on just getting Better in any way to perform in your week by week. I think everybody starts the season with like you want to win the super bowl, and that's like the angle. But I I don't think that, that's like where you're at, at any moment until you're there, if that makes sense.

Like it's always about man, we got to be if we're playing clever this week, how do we be clive? And or what did I do last week? How do I not make the same mistakes again and get Better this week? To me, I felt like I was never no, that was always the main dream. But there are always shorter term goals that were kind of getting you on the right, keeping you on the right track right, like doing your job, getting Better every day and you know, staying in the moment, I think, help you achieve all those got those long term goals. Yeah ah what about your trip?

I can go along the same lines where you are saying, cc, like one of my coaches and college used to say, feed the fire fuel that knowledge and that love for the game and really like understand IT to the like the my nude details I have never been satisfied watching my cell phone film I literally in my worst critic and I feel like if guys take that mentality not only in sports but it's just in life, are always trying to find ways to Better themselves um you know you'll slowly start to take steps up the staircase of success and find ways to, you know, I no get Better at whether it's catching the football a throwing the football a blocking things like that.

I always trying to take the the four, five months that we have an all season to find one thing to really like, understand to a whole another level. And this year IT was how to recover Better, how to recover faster throughout the week. What are some things that I can do? And it's just been a whole, like I want to say, change a routine, but it's just been a whole fine tuning of the routine throughout the week so that even in a week four to week ten to week fifteen to week twenty of unfortunate enough to play in the super ball, I ve found a way to to be at my top and and like best like physical form um for the guys around me and just be accountable man but I would say just be be your own worst critic and you can tell me I play terrible man I I be .

the ones that.

That people who say about playing here like having to handle the pressure plan in new york, no, already to put so much pressure on myself that like up you don't mean like like A I I, you know so there's no amount of pressure that you can put on me that the external pressure that one break me know I know you all about is just like I write so much football. I see um everybody talk about office of lines and you know this often that often like bad but the difference of lines have every team has a freak on their defense one yes, like every single one, wether or j or j, why they are guys that make IT on the different of my turning the office of line so you can kind of max bodies in his life so these guys have like is crazy yeah it's .

a good point.

man and is crazy I think one those deepen of guys are it's a sex position that's what I would work place all those everybody was A X I .

think is hard and I am has a freak .

and has talk about this more like most of the best .

often alignment were those like most of the best of an alignment in the league, at least I don't want to like not all of a lot of those guys were former position players, right? Like I was a line back or grown up line. John played tighter in a quarterback Jason Peters, who play with the elish follow time was a tight and in college.

So there are a lot more skill and athletic guys switching to the office online for exactly what you're saying. Like you can just be a big, like strong guy anymore and be a successful of an alignment, be able to hard. Could you got to be a crazy athlete now? And all that other stuff in those are rare people. It's rare human beings to find six, six dudes that are athletic, big, strong, like they just tough.

Yeah, yeah, no yeah.

yeah. 再会。

But 本来 i just I feel like so many office and takes so much shit or these off the line period because it's like.

do you do you see what i'm like you would try.

The line is .

like if you do your job nine out of ten times, it's a failure. Like if you if you give up one second a game, I had a bad day pass blocking. I I got to have thirty nine stamps that I got a job them but that one is going to hat me my so like.

you know, really like the right yeah yeah.

So far, I mean, these guys you paid to, they're pretty good.

There are pretty good. My fire is fuelled .
