We need to be careful about what kinds of thoughts we allow to enter our minds. Philippians 4:8 tells us, "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things." If a thought doesn't match that description, it's our responsibility to turn that thought away! Don't allow false, shameful, unjust, impure, ugly, slanderous, flawed, or dishonorable thoughts to steal your peace.
