Contributor(s): Dr David Kennedy | The UK has an aggressive plan to decarbonise its economy by 34 per cent in 2020, 50 per cent in 2027 and 80 per cent in 2050. This lecture will look at the economic, technical and policy challenges of achieving these targets. David Kennedy is chief executive of the Committee on Climate Change. He is also a visiting senior fellow at the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment. This lecture is part of ESRC Festival of Social Science.
