Hosts Mat Bradley-Tschirgi and William Thrasher discuss Young Guns II. Billy the Kid (Emilio Estevez) tries to flee to Mexico as he is pursued by former friend Pat Garrett (William Petersen).
Young Guns II benefits from a better pacing than the original, but it's also a bit more rote. Things are a little too slick this time around, but the chemistry between the main cast remains strong.
Mat finds Maleficent to be an intelligent live-action remake of Sleeping Beauty because of how it expands the scope of the story. Thrasher thinks the recent live-action remakes of Aladdin and The Lion King are so-so at best.
