Hosts Mat Bradley-Tschirgi, Thrasher, and Alex Miller discuss Wayne's World 2. Wayne (Mike Myers) and Garth (Dana Carvey) try to start a music festival.
Rushed out to movie theaters at ludicrous speed, Wayne's World 2 repeats a lot of the jokes from the original picture. The edges are sanded off a bit. Instead of Alice Cooper, we get Aerosmith as the requisite band cameo. Its plot takes inspiration from Oliver Stone's The Doors and Phil Alden Robinson's Field of Dreams, Wayne is plagued by dreams of a naked Indian and Jim Morrison. Harry Shearer is fun for a scene as Handsome Dan, and there's a solid kung fu parody with James Hong, but the rest feels oh so tired.
