A film of the cult London musical The Rocky Horror Show featuring some of the original cast, The Rocky Horror Picture Show is practically a ritual watch for anyone involved in a high school drama program. Ahead of its time in many ways and not so much in others, this musical tackles aliens from outerspace, Nazis, and gender fluidity. Richard O'Brien's punchy songs and wry screenplay make this a good watch, although the wind comes out of the sails a bit after the glorious one-town punch of the "Time Warp" and "Sweet Tranvestite" numbers.
