Hosts Mat Bradley-Tschirgi and William Thrasher discuss the rare two-part crossover episode of The Mask and Ace Ventura cartoon series. In "The Aceman Cometh", Stanley Ipkiss (Rob Paulsen) is distressed when Dr. Pretorius (Tim Curry) kidnaps his pet Milo, so Ace Ventura (Michael Daingerfield) is on the case. In "Have Mask, Will Travel", The Mask and Ace Ventura travel into space to investigate an alien presence. Considering you are having two Jim Carrey characters meet, albeit in animated form, much more could have been done with this opportunity.
Thrasher thought the Oscar winning The Shape of Water lived up to its hype with its dark romantic story. Mat managed to break a Baby Pac-Man arcade machine at Quarterworld in Portland, Oregon and enjoyed a long-form pee joke in Girls Trip.
