Hosts Mat Bradley-Tschirgi and William Thrasher discuss Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. A T-850 (Arnold Schwarzenegger) and a T-X (Kristanna Loken) travel to 2004 to either protect or destroy John Connor (Nick Stahl).
Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines leans hard onto a comedic tone that never completely works. There are moments of darkness, not the least of which is the downer of the ending. Everyone is trying, but it doesn't quite come together. Things improve a lot in the third act.
Mat talks about Oscar categories and the Skynet gone real with Amazon drones. Thrasher has been enjoying the original Japanese version of Mighty Morphing Power Rangers. Mat also touches on his thoughts on Uwe Boll's BloodRayne trilogy.
