Hosts Mat Bradley-Tschirgi, Thrasher, and Alex Miller discuss the career and life of Norm Macdonald.
Starting comedy at an early age, Norm worked his way to the Weekend Update desk at Saturday Night Live. A comedian who enjoyed bombing onstage and long jokes, Macdonald was axed from SNL over telling too many O.J. Simpson jokes. After writing and starring in Dirty Work, directed by his friend and mentor Bob Saget of Full House fame, Norm continued hitting the road on the regular. A three-season sitcom simply titled Norm followed soon after. He eventually would have a podcast (don't all comics?) and a short-lived talk show on Netflix. Norm also was a very pithy judge for several seasons of Last Comic Standing and voiced Lucky the Dog in all five Dr. Dolittle films very loosely based off the books by Hugh Lofting.
A one of a kind voice, a true comic's comic, Norm Macdonald will be missed.
