Self isolation mandates have been in place around the globe in several countries for months now. Movie theaters have had to close up shop and peddle their wares as pricey rentals for $19.99. However, this is cheaper than a date at the movies. We pontificate on how this might affect the movie theater experience going forward, the continuing decline of physical media, and once again lament what society has lost from the vanishing of movie rental stores.
