Loosely based on a short-lived comic book series from Aircel Comics, Men in Black combines humor, science-fiction, and a bit of horror into slick summer entertainment. Part of what makes this original film work so well is the simplicity of the story. Director Barry Sonnenfeld moves things along at a quick pace. Spawned a hit titular single by Will Smith featuring dancing aliens.
