Hosts Mat Bradley-Tschirgi and William Thrasher discuss the direct-to-video animated film Kronk's New Groove from 2005. Instead of having one narrative, we get a wrap-around story with two long flashbacks making for a very episodic cartoon. Despite characters from the original film being front and center on the box art, characters other than Kronk are afterthoughts in the main narrative. Newcomers to the cast include Tracey Ullman and John Mahoney. Kronk's New Groove might be the only movie with a raisin bread baking as sex metaphor set to "Let's Groove" by Earth, Wind & Fire.
