Hosts Mat Bradley-Tschirgi and Thrasher discuss Highlander III: The Final Dimension. Outside of the US, this was released as Highlander III: The Sorcerer. Connor MacLeod (Christopher Lambert) finds Kane (Mario Van Peebles), another evil Immortal itching to have a sword fight.
A sort of remake of the original, Highlander III sends Connor back to New York City, gives him an adopted son John (Gabriel Kakon), and outright ignores the events of Highlander 2. While things feels more like a Highlander movie than the second one, Highlander III really just goes through the motions. Mario Van Peebles is fun hamming it up as Kane and Mako Iwamatsu is a solid mentor as Nakano, but there's nothing new or interesting here. This is a rather bland film.
