Less scary and adult than the original, Ghostbusters 2 almost feels like a live-action adaptation of the hit cartoon The Real Ghostbusters. Its eclectic soundtrack is loaded with New Jack Swing, Oingo Boingo, and Elton John favorites. There are some good jokes, but the story is more of a slog. Bill Murray's subplot about trying to get back with Sigourney Weaver feels like something out of a different movie entirely.
Fun fact: This is the first episode where BJ was a co-host of the show.
