Hosts Mat Bradley-Tschirgi and Thrasher, and Alex Miller discuss Eclipse, the third film in the Twilight Saga. Starring Bryce Dallas Howard, Taylor Lautner, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart. A sulking teenager and a sulking werewolf have to sleep with each other to keep them warm.
Mortal enemies werewolves and vampires decide to form an alliance against an impending army of newborn vampires. While the last film felt like it had some momentum towards the end of the inevitable marriage of Edward and Bella, yet again the story feels stretched out with side stories until a promise of what everyone has been waiting is yet to come. There are some humorous moments between Edward and Jacob, but other than the sudden intense nature of some of the violence, there's precious little to latch onto here. The Twilight Saga increasingly feels like a series that could have been crammed into a three-hour fan edit with little to lose for it.
