Hosts Mat Bradley-Tschirgi and Thrasher, and Alex Miller discuss Breaking Dawn Part 2, the fifth and final film in the Twilight Saga as of this recording. Starring Billy Burke, Taylor Lautner, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart. Old vampires fight new vampires and some of them laugh silly and some of them can make leaves float.
Showing a momentum much of the series lacked, Breaking Dawn Part 2 shows the ancient Volturi planning an assault against the Cullens and their friends in order to get their hands on Bella and Edward's human-vampire hybrid child. There's some fun and absurdity at the start, and even a nice battle scene with notes of Lord of the Rings near the end. A bit long in the tooth, but so is the whole Twilight franchise.
