Hosts Mat Bradley-Tschirgi and William T. Thrasher discuss A Quack in the Quarks, A Star Wars parody episode of Tiny Toon Adventures. Next week they'll be back on their regular Star Wars: Droids schedule.
A pair of new students join Acme Looniversity, but they soon turn out to be aliens. Impressed by Plucky Duck's (Joe Alaskey) swagger, they rope him into an intergalactic adventure against the evil Duck Vader (Jeff Bergman).
The Star Wars jokes are a bit rote here, Duck Vader's excellent helmet design notwithstanding. More amusing are the Hollywood in-jokes about working for scale and points. This episode served as an inspiration for the final level of the video game Tiny Toons Adventures: Buster Busts Loose on the SNES.
Mat and Thrasher also discuss the new trailer for Star Wars Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker.
