Hosts Mat Bradley-Tschirgi and William Thrasher discuss A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child. A return of sorts to the darker tone of the original, this flick involves Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund) trying to get back into the real world through our pregnant hero Alice's (Lisa Wilcox) unborn son. We get some baffling dream sequences inspired by Monty Python's Meaning of Life, comic books, and H.R. Giger.
Mat enjoys playing the video game South Park: The Fractured But Whole. Inspired by a handful of episodes where the South Park kids dress up as superheroes, the game features better game mechanics than South Park: The Stick of Truth, although re-used maps and assets make it feel less fresh than the original.
Thrasher enjoys the first feature length (!!) part of MovieBob's breakdown of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
