One of the trademarks of a great author is patience. We all need to learn to be patient especially as authors and writers because the truth of the matter is that not everything is in our control. There are aspects of writing that are in our control and somethings that are not in our control.
What's important is what we do with the things we can't control.
Impatience can rob us of creating the best product for the people we are targeting.
We can even compromise on the quality and overlook mistakes all in the name of "getting the book" out but as an author we need patience to endure the process of publishing.
