Erik and Bob take your questions. Cloud based tax firm CCH suffers massive cloud data outage. United Kingdom goes a full week without using coal power. Manhattan apartment users finally get physical keys to their apartments after winning suit over having to use Bluetooth "smart locks. Germany implements first "eHighway" that allows electric vehicles to operate emissions-free. A caller seeks a way to "enlarge" digital pictures that were taken at a lower resolution without them becoming "pixelated" or blocky. A user with a new HP printer has problems with the printer shutting off automatically after 8 hours and disappearing from the network. We discuss the basics of setting up a "static IP address" for the printer to avoid this problem. A helpful caller has a possible solution to the pixelated photo problem that a previous caller had using Adobe Photoshop CC or Adobe Photoshop Elements. A caller switching from DSL to cable Internet service wonders if she should reduce her Internet speed to 30 Megabits. Also, we discuss the advantages of buying a cable modem yourself rather than renting it from the cable provider. We help a listener who has problems with a wireless printer not working correctly by providing instructions on how to set up a static IP address for the printer in his router, similar to a previous caller. A caller with a 3-year-old, seemingly completely "dead" laptop looks for possible fixes and solutions to test the laptop and battery before considering recycling it.
