Each year we check in with veteran Arborist Charlie Blume. We'll ask Charlie about his perception of practicing arboriculture in the Catskill Mountains as well as some tips for those who want to take better care of the trees near their home. We'll also ask Charlie about the lack of fruit this year, fruit-tree diseases, and things you can do to enhance their health.
Charlie Blume grew up in Freeport, Long Island, NY where he owned a Tree Care company. Almost 20 years ago, he relocated to Grahamsville, Sullivan County, where he has been practicing arboriculture ever since.
