Tip of the Week
If you want to give Snaps a try but are not on an Ubuntu based distro…don’t fret. Despite Snaps being created by Canonical…they can be used on most distros.
- As an example:
Fedora just type: sudo dnf install snapd - [link)]
With Arch Snap is available in the AUR - [link)]
How to install in openSUSE - [link)]
other distros - [link)]
You may need to enable them with systemctl command post install using:
- sudo systemctl enable --now snapd.socket
