Nobody from the government listens of this.
right?
If you box in the dark, well, I can talk about that.
This is a show that covers a lot of the french e weird. A lot of everything around the internet has found on various social new sites, the gene is out of title, and more more governments are going .
to put this on their books. Who's the claps?
You give the more dominant .
one .
of the gut. I feel first up.
nobody is just standing in the fuck in flight. the. Plans .
who?
Is the best star .
wars really? Yes there's.
没有 o depression epidemic。
If you knew that you could trust the men around the table to not judge you, not try and fix you, but just listen to you and support you.
Welcome to the .
nation, also potentially .
hazard to your help. One twice, and I free .
in the title, and I don't. Anna, do.
Hello, everybody. And welcome to the dignity reboot episode number six, I malata back. And yes, I am currently rocking a goat in remembrance of my time .
in the nineties and the welcome. So this is a show that covers a lot of the french weird, a outrageous, a technology driven, technology hint of technology lover. Everything around the internet has found on various social new sites, sometimes on a dig dog ump.
that's correct. And this is Kevin rose, because neglected and say, meet you. So not a lot of self going on this week, pretty week.
Yes, pretty Normal. Nothing, nothing really big happened and really average week. It's just a standard, standard week.
So we hear a dignity are just going to do our standard show. Yes, everybody out there because that's what we're here for for everyone. Speaking of no reason for anything to have happened, our first .
story that .
microstrip gy stock hits all time high as bitcoin breaks ninety thousand yes. Um so bitcoin for no apparent reason has really skyrocket, breaking all time highs. But I think currently right now, recording on like wednesday, it's like I think eighty nine k yeah.
broke ninety k for a hot minute there.
He was ninety four this morning when I walk. It's so crazy now yeah.
So I like a lot .
of people had no idea what strategy was. But a couple days after a bitcoin was starting to really kind of creep up, they bought like two billion dollars or a bitcoin. And I looked into so they have been around since, like eighty nine.
I think they started that. I mean, they still do sort of like a business. Information technology stops.
So software that helps businesses be Better at businesses, and they've done that a lot of funny enough, started in moment. And delaware moved to tysons corner, Virginia, which is where I grew up. So I was like, oh, and at the time that I was there.
so super weird was like, my god, I wonder, never heard yeah.
And they started, I think, was Angel. That comment always really some dot com that they started theyve .
been buying. They have been known for buying a bitcoin now for a long time. I mean, long time is in years now yeah .
starting in like twenty, eighteen, eighteen, seven, they started going, hey, we have all this capital coming in and obviously as tech people, I mean, you know I mean, shit, this is the funny thing is like we're talking about a story about bitcoin. I would love to go back and see the first time that we ever mentioned bitcoin on indignation.
Do we talk about in me when .
you talked about IT? So many fucker, times are serious. Oh my god. We talk to about IT. yeah.
We talked about IT when we were getting emails of people that were paying thirty, forty, fifty bitcoin for a fuck in pizza. Yeah, yeah, yeah. If you like sentencing email, if you remember a little segments.
if you can find our first mention.
we have been, we have been talking about IT for millennia, let's just say millennia. And i've been in and out of bitcoin many times, I think most recently and we might have even talked others on the reboot shows um but I had handful of coin at a block five, which. No idea, no idea. I was like and at the time I was like .
you were getting interest on and .
see right IT was my good .
cash rack that's right two and cash back in the corner.
You just told me about IT like I was like IT credit that we were like I was at one year party and I was a lot of people, but I was like, what could I like? What's my credit? And I have points like, I know how to do in this.
I have one. I just I don't care somebody like somebody make a website where I can just put in my points and then they can go, do you want to go to bOlivia? I or some shit I maybe I can't find IT.
Yeah, make easy. But anyway, he said, black light, getting your percentage back out in bitcoins, that was great. And by the way, fucking amazing conversation started. Every restaurant in the cut a card, and the guy comes back, the girl comes back.
He was so that, like a big coin.
my friends at a party told me this is the best thing to do. So I did IT.
and I love IT. It's great. And I made probably thousand people that are being of up.
I got my, I wish that I had .
the fucking F, T, X.
Found on my podcast. Oh my god.
that's crazy here. yeah. So he was on there and know, and I was always like, I know you nice guy. You play video games like that.
That's IT. I know nothing about banking. You play video games. Well, they come on this guys.
He was a nice enough guy, but like, he is really weird. I have two people, him and do kon, they created that stable coin. Yeah, I had two people that are now they're on the run or in jail.
My pop cap. That is amazing. First up in the now version of podcasts, that's actually amazing. But that's something you put in your wikipedia in the like now version of pakistan.
When did you nothing? okay. So I wasn't yeah on like so it's a total point this year and .
my girlfriend, seventy billion dollars by a everybody keep on calm and so fine. The government listens of this, right?
I almost invested, though, like I was looking at IT. And well, the thing is that they were one of the first to embrace salona, which is one of the upcoming coins, and they were known as like the place to go and trade sala.
Really, I was founded sala beach. The street sanea right is not wise.
They called a bab, but like I think the .
they were in my first area.
I first met toy who's the founder. He was in s hf. And he was x motor, a 夸 K X cocom。 That's and is oh so so .
here's the thing that i've I think i've talked about this on many, many podcast and and I will say that I changed my tune in a little bit. But my thing that I was going to say was, no, I was in this mindset of like, okay, when IT comes a bitcoin, i'm going to hold my bitcoin until I have a million dollars for a bit in OK, I want to sell half.
Then when a whole, my big coin is like a million dollars good, I to sell half, I have a and the whole thing is that sounds so stupid right now at ninety thousand, quite a work of. But had I done that since the beginning, I be rolling in many, many millions. Here's where IT changed my study.
Jerry were playing video games, and I was like, dude, bitcoin fog is up to, like, twenty seven grand of coin. I made so much money today. He was a Jerry. I mean, neither of us, but just illustrative process. The accident was.
no, I was like.
oh, I guess I had the X A lot of people were saying things, but I was killing my body oh my god, i'm so excited. I made so much booking money that was, you know and then my body, Jerry was like, nighted and I was like, no, I did. Do you love it's like you could I .
show you that .
the receipts and he's like now and also not a clickable, not a clickable also you might .
transaction history.
So I realized i've only ever i've never spent my bitcoin on anything. I've only ever kept bitcoin .
and lost icon giton. Well, guess .
what? You can I know you .
can get those cards, but no, he does. Oh.
not cards. You know easy is like send bitcoin to coin base liquidity and send your your .
bank account. Ark.
I don't even you got got to .
tell me .
about the dark way. yeah. I mean.
I know about .
IT like the dark is the dark. I know .
where I think, cool.
this be great, but you example, tell you what? He, anyway, last look, I decided that I would use this money, that I got back from block fire, yeah, that I did not think I would get back here, and that I would use that money to do shit. So like what we are doing, our kitchen, and i'm paying for IT in big.
and this is like a year ago, whatever.
Yeah, this was like maybe two years ago. But the best thing is, the thing with bitcoin is because IT keeps going up every time my fuck can do something. I have the same amount of money worth .
a bitcoin in like two months.
I know I always did the man, and then I never had the money. You, so what I want to do is the man .
with money, the new kachin, right?
And then but .
also you also, if you had just kept the coin, you could probably have five new kitchen at this point.
But if I had not got a new kitchen and invested that money in coin and held back going for five years, I would have time enough money to buy ten kitchen. And the point is, my body jery was correct. I did not have made any money is unless I sell.
So I just started doing that. I was like, you know, this five brand. Like, I want to get a new couch. Big one touch. No.
you put us there.
I mean, I will when it's tax time, i'm not gonna not .
you sell at that point days OK OK. yeah. First of i'm .
not like going on facebook marketplace and being like people do that.
你 现在。
Bitcoin now has surpassed the a, the value of silver. It's now the eight, the eighth highest devalue asset you can hold so cool. So so here's okay.
let me, let me try me out. Here's my shame. My chime is that I have like you if you go back and to look my tweet like three and since twenty twelve was the first time thing I between baccy, I, I, I came up and I was like to, i'm so stoking one hundred dollars and of course I was like, I pay ten, you know?
Yeah, I like, but like a grand worth one hundred. fucking. Now, there was great. I remember the fucking .
in restaurant. You brought a thunder. Yeah, with your bitcoin on IT to L. A. Because you were worried I was going to, like, get fucked up. And you were, we were at dinner member, you yes, of you and you were like, I got this spoke money and I just hit, oh my god of course.
the next day I said I was ninety thousand. I know how much that is. Wear good. She's S, I had one hundred and forty five bacon on that wallie and worth thirty million today. Ah I say .
have to do OK way, but nobody wants to do. I mean, I literally was just sing. I'm not. So here's where I here's .
why that I have realized now that what is happening and and we've seen little hinton in bits this and I treated about this years ago, but now I can actually start to see that actually happen. Where's the governments are buying and holding? Sometimes secretively.
sometimes argentina, china, about IT president just came out was like, who's the fucking love? Is dog now?
Gd.
exactly what I just inspanned. H, exactly.
So by the way, Edison is here. Ah, yeah. So do you saw somebody warning in the background? And big studio? A, I use code on code camera is for twenty person good. But do I think of my .
work response? Technical would have been in our response. And then people go in this, like, couple could just work.
Fuck you charge the more, yes.
okay.
So we should totally do that. Just see a done. People, kids, kid, there's a lot smart people, very smart there. So basic. The champion was straight to my head of nowhere.
That's literally its job.
this job. So we i've a lip though, and for some reason I have like realized shit. Okay, if you had to project out twenty years now. So this is no longer a fat, clearly is no longer the genis out of the bottle.
IT is going to be used more more as a is non pegged government uh fixed uh quantity non inflationary asset reserve currency and more more governments are going to put this on their books. There's only fucking twenty one million points. Yeah like dude, eat. So i'm gone from looking at the Price actually. Yeah like, oh, this is just a part of my portfolio as a headache and inflation.
That's an interesting because .
we are printing shotts of money. I don't care what administration time about that is happening all the time in bitcoin is that hash, you know and it's also portable head.
So we hold .
a .
portable hedge party in my age that didn't take IT a porter o, but I planted IT in my new yard. What let me ask you this then you're not looking at the Price is your job, but you are. But if you're not, but you are a is your goal then to have a set, a mp like number of coin?
Yes, my goal right now. So back in the day, I was two percent of my overall portfolio, percent worth OK. If whether that means to you, I now and then they like five percent to ten percent camp, which is high.
But it's but it's not really unless .
you access to why you .
have access to IT. But I mean like actually it's probably more access than like guy like I got to call jp more gonna like hey, I need some .
ideal extra crazy said .
which I love that why I made all my I he's .
watching he's like guy in Kevin is Kevin yeah ah so here's the deal. Do you took this out? By the way, that's dangerous. So I know this every freak out.
I, I, I, no other place of you. What I know, what I OK, I am going to get some .
gifts for next time OK. I'm going to get some crops.
Do they feel good? I love this thing.
yeah.
Okay, that .
was a 不, 你 这 一个 我的。
照片, 你 tony fucking, I know I turn the air.
Can you see IT? He said that something stupid. Okay, so here here's the deal.
Like what I did with my four one K R star in my I R A. Turn to off a off econ mode down there is to cool. There's the things is cool or econ. You want to turn .
on cool mode right again.
Yeah, I did seventy. Eighty was going to only cool and down here. Thank you. So here's .
the and .
mary of a couple of the gut. You're definitely right.
is right? You're definitely .
more dominant. One of the goat, I can say you take me O K, so I like .
your I R A.
would not know what I do. The four c of I R A is I sold all of my stocks on my I R A OK but easy b, which is Franklin temptings, uh, bitcoin etf. And the reason I did that because the lowest cost etf per year .
you are holding biton, you're just in my .
retire account, right?
And tech three .
distributions when you retire. And so you just let that compound it's hundred percent big coin in my retire account .
that that your entire yeah but I mean, let's go. good. We are going. We are going anyway.
Nothing is not.
It's I mean, it's crazy because like, I mean, I guess i've always been I always say this. I never be broken. Record IT.
It's a good record. It's my favorite. When bitcoin was at twenty box, saying bitcoin was going to go to one hundred box was ridiculous.
D, A, when big one is one hundred, saying it's gonna to a thousand was, I mean, I remember these milestones was like, I never break a thousand. H, let's ridiculous. Now it's point.
Wow, that's got a funk. I know that is not like beef this for us. I'm very interested to see .
it's pickle beater. It's childbearing change that changes your Peter blue, changes your Peter blue. Oh, cloud demand.
Why did you bring me pickle beer? This is the rage pickle beer. Donal's was backstage of the garden, eating pickle contest. And creative.
I will say, my body tried the .
code .
with people. IT was coke with pickle juice. yeah.
And he was like, this is .
actually good a thing that, yeah, there are you .
going to try one? These .
pickle bears .
first crack.
Rr, I mean, I do .
love you make a yeah.
that's not. Yeah, I will say what first of chinese accepted. Secondly, i'm going to get a new computer.
So the other .
thing is that I have for many, many, many, many, many years, been the person who tries to convince people, because it's awesome to eat pin butter and pickles IT is the fucking in the best nack. Thank you. It's the best nack because sweet with the peanuts are like sweet and salty. But then there's that hit of the sour from the blind feels .
horrible about .
that is so good. I literally given IT to so many people and convert them every thing to episode house.
Yeah, used to shoe epsom. There we have like the same couch.
No way, no way do you .
really know .
and we do. I was well years ago, if I had to say, because you be like, you should get .
with fair, that there was already .
kind of haggled. But that one .
was twenty years old, the fuck.
And from like .
pumps or like, okay, here we go and be your advocate rating one of ten h that's delights really.
Oh my .
god, what's what's the A B V on this stuff? I really .
four hand see.
I don't drink anything under seven.
Well.
I just like, what is what do you doing?
I mean, I will say i'm going to continue drinking wine because i'm not in the mood for a beer now yeah but I will say this is something i'm going to buy and i'm going to bring to like beach parties, lake parties, way pico chips.
Have you had pico chips? I like ck. yeah.
Space deal pickle chips. Fucking great. So i'm on board with donas take.
If you like this sponsor donors, please reach .
out to see.
We have emails .
and we have checked him.
Okay, right.
check next story. Next one. This is important one. So was important. I Y, I, I zona, that doesn't count. How does not being your home not count as travel?
You can watch this on.
Be in paris, White, I check the time.
So here's a deal. IT starts to two A M, and by the time he comes on, it's going two hours later, right? Three hours of fucking things.
My eyes is wake early. And just like to watch IT. I'd need to watch this fight to do and leave to talk about. So I didn't research.
This was literally the thing that we talk. This was on the reunion show before. We even decided just start doing this on the regs. I use probity. And .
once they .
might actually .
want to be, and you .
are my A I gu, I tried the three .
point something million lion plex on my news letter last week. Here's a deal. 4 gloves, which are more sparring gloves. So it's like more surface area, less damage. But I did a little research on perplexity, and i'm not joking, did actually use that add you you think that is no don't don't like you but like.
yeah go fuck you and also wasn't eggs that's also good and perfectly call us because we need to start doing .
some ads yeah right? So the scientific studies that have been done on tyson punches even, oh god, generate around hundred jewels of force.
one.
thirteen hundred to fourteen hundred pounds of force. So a rough, a rough, and making this up, this forking A I, A rough full force kick to the nuts, is about a hundred jewels of force.
Okay, that that is a very minimal jewels to the jewels .
to make me die this. So I asked perplexity, what is this comparative? Like, what would you like? A punch with armani? Jews of force.
Like, what does that mean? So it's a couple of being hit by a vestment scooter going nine miles now, which just a sound bad. But let me keep OK. IT is being shot at, being shot by. This is so A I being shot by thirteen people using twenty two caliber pistol or wearing a flat.
sorry, thirteen people at the exact same time. so.
But the flag jacket .
do on two boy, the flagged jacket.
yeah, I try to be dead. yeah. So like OK look .
and track.
I is just showing you .
like all the guy, right? Move if you are in thirteen scenes in a guy reaching movie.
and everybody had a twenty two, this is the most relevant to me that know .
what I elt I O O K O K.
It's like falling from seven feet of a tall letter in landing sideways on concrete.
哦, yeah.
that's my, that's what he with force, 而且。
maine, the air leaving your bodies.
Now this is equivalent of thirteen strong kicks on the night side. Seriously thirteen.
First of i'm nervous that perplexity keeps talking about getting getting the not fair like thing is like, I mean, human only knows getting swiftly kicked in the nut.
To be fair, I did and current proper oh you were like giving .
more not related problem explained to me like I have only nuts .
and i'm receiving many kick and also point out how many like nerves I have in my I like IT was giving me like an a nerve to not rational AI is crazy .
like have a feeling IT was the user.
not the tool but go head i'm all saying.
yeah, yeah you know, explain to me like I have a balls. They get hit often.
Test on the show. We are testing the show at some point.
Yes, Kevin, we should have my testing on the show. OK I kick her next.
okay?
Silicon based evy batteries promise twice the range improves as the and fast charging. So there's I don't want to call an arms race .
because I got negative.
And silicon, silicon, silicon, silicon silken valley.
it's basically why one is made for in the others like what .
is who who. No, that silicon is fake. Bob silicon.
I I think I didn't know this when you were saying OK the .
one that's not fake book. I don't think it's going to be like, great. We just realized all this show we've been using to make boobs bigger can make electric cars go faster.
This is.
So why didn't anybody try to put electricity through these boos and at all? One woman, 可是 外面 就是 价钱。 Sharks of my electrical came out of IT and then shot the bunch of people. They were like, those book, hold that .
charge the this could be a thing. I this are not surprisingly like fake of our cars, like right .
in the bingo card.
like for .
you fake book power card, by the way, that if I get a silicon based thing, I want to be like big boost and IT makes .
me fucking .
go yeah books. K, so here's the thing. Right now there is a sort of a bunch of different companies that are all sort of figuring out how to commodities the next iteration of battery full stop E V.
longer battery life .
on your phone. Longer battery life on your watch, longer batter life on everything. And that has a funk and battery, which is everything.
But specifically for evs, what they realized is that the lithium ion batteries, uh, use a graphite anode and that's part of this sort of makeup ove them is part of what gives them their a longevity. And like all that, all the like, science cy c sancy, that's why you can only put them much charge in your car. A company has realized they could replace the graphite anode with a silicon ano think books.
I think so.
说的是 谁? You don't know what I run. So the hooker, because there is another thing with that, you're probably had about the solid state batteries and something. So it's like they're trying to figure out what company is going to make the sort of version to battery that's gonna able to sort to come the market. And silicon based, you know lithium ions is one might work.
But the crazy thing about IT is if you think about your current car because like oh, proven example, so you have plug in hybrid, yes, fifty miles of range on the battery? yes. What if there .
was one hundred miles .
of range on the baty?
Because mostly like miles here there yeah.
like for me, i've got a model y, but away before the epa stepped in was like, that's not the range. IT used to be three thirty now, three hundred years, which is like because IT really is three hundred and six hundred .
miles .
on a charge .
with this new battery .
technology. The question I have is, and I always talked about, I think the battery technology is gonna get Better and Better. Obviously no more law, whatever. And we're going to get to a point where you're going to get or because you can only put so much gas, you can get as efficient as you want, you can only put so much gas in a car, right? But with the battery, as the efficiency gets more and more and you know the electric density, and i'll let's have you're gonna get to a point where you're .
gonna see .
over thousand mile ranges on cars. person. I think in .
the next the flipped ing IT, it'll be like when .
flips over the electricity .
having the advantage years when come in the market again.
they don't know if this is going to be detect that went or it'll be a solid state or IT will be some new chemical compound here. Other thing is, here's the thing, and this is what I always talk about. I love. I just said that I fuck can never talk about this, but whatever. Here's a thing that i'm going to talk about, which is this is where I think A I is going to help us, is the super weird out of the box thinking where you are going to get things like, hey, the silicon in breast implants could actually be a really conductive. Have you thought about putting them?
Are them on the protein .
discovery side, cancer research? Like I think it's gona start letting us think outside the box because what's going to do is it's going to remove the time a requirement in in trying millions and millions of things that make no sense. Yes, right?
Like the whole point is as a human you only have so much time on the planet, you need to focus your intent and energy into things that you're reasonably assume will be successful and there's variance there. You can go outside and you can do things that you think, well, i'll just take a fire on these things but realistically, you're like i'm spending time and I have a limited amount of IT. Like time is the biggest .
resource we have.
The eyes don't give a shit about that they could go oh, you wanted to go spend five million years in the corner figuring out every plant that you could possibly and just simulating what that effect is on all the things we know are bad for humans.
Okay, well, in three days i'm going to come back and say, hey, I spent seven years of human time doing these things that's where I think we're onna get a lot of stuff so that's why I go, hey, I don't know what the technology is. This is cool. I love the idea of this and the fact that this is like, hey, this little tweak to current battery technology could get you .
to .
x this feels recent. There are. This feels like imminent. Yes.
hundred person agree also .
like that, the fuck. And loosen their safe fires like a four hundred and fifty thousand five hundred mile range watch in the thousand .
and charged two thousand one hundred person agree on on the discovery side that google actually just a released um deep mind alpha three the source code in the model weights for demotic use and like this is going to be absolutely accelerate scientific discovery and drug development. It's going to happen. It's amazing.
But what do you think the secret? Because there's still people there are like, oh, I have have a hybrid. I do you think that what is the mile? What's the magic? No, I think five hundred miles is where's like gosh like it's also the charging time too.
Yeah, it's charging time. The the max miles I think also there's IT is really interesting because you know you you think like, oh well, don day person would have this problem, but it's really Normal everyday. Not that you say purpose are not Normal because I fuck, I got props, mean on some stuff happens, come to me, we got stuff .
like big.
not a lot of shit, but like shit, you get an perp t prep t but I will say, I think the average person has some trepidation. Perfect example is i've got A A model y and how they had a rain drover, and I just was in practical, was beautiful car. But IT, which is super and practical.
Our streets are really tiny, like I just didn't. We basically lifted in the garage and we switched, stop taking the tesla. And I was like, what the fucking we do? We have this really expensive car that is beautiful.
And I love taking IT out. Neither of us choose to take a like a king, the antasari just purely by size. So we went and he got um the bmw I 4m fifty。 So it's like the m series of bmw electric for doors.
Adam all electric gorgeous got all electric OK. We had a conversation. He was like i'm a little concerned about just having an electric car, like just being .
a family, that in duma.
you know, something happens, we gotta get out of dodge, or the cars charge can final electricity. And in my mind, dos, I first off, if we're really worried about that, you think the gas stations are just going to be open .
and available.
There's a whole thing plus the empty like came .
up that a drive t .
for also we have solar.
a tela .
power wall. K so like we can change our cars even if the fucking powerful goes out. You and I did work around ah ah. Yeah, what our whole thing is, I know how to fly a plane enough that .
are still up .
one hundred percent, fucked in hundred percent if the zombie public happens. My plan is put my wife and my dog, my perhaps, in a car. Get myself to the sand, Monica airport.
OK plane and .
steel plain and fly to cataline. What could you fly? Anything that single engine? O, K, yeah. Like it's very, do you .
will you go to the .
schools? Because all the schools .
have keys.
You go out. If I i'd probably be like, you have a serious, okay, go co. I'll take that.
You would go to school, be like in the a place because it's why I wouldn't .
kill anything like very nice person I would persuade first. Nobody y's just standing in the fuck in flight school at a zombie site. Guys don't take the plans right? I know, I know there.
And my job is to make sure fifteen dollars in our job is to make sure no one steals the planes. They would literally put a box with the key. Anybody does use this? Go go call me down. die. I mean.
have to get a big plan. And .
cat, look, I would love to try a double engine plan. Yeah, maybe like, what are these things called? Like atis. Like, yes, prop, i'll find themselves.
They have all the landing shit too, dude.
all in the air. Yes.
science does the rest. I look like there's going be like some fake azi oaa as was like a slight content on and you like crash over.
you like podcast, like .
died care skin person has yeah.
they were able to successfully take them off in the plane. Thank you news. Yeah, thank you.
alright. Next, sorry, suck and tea pain. Oh, making an album.
What the fuck going on .
this in the world where everything is possible because that's where we are. The king tea pain apparently hit the studio together and they .
are thinking about like you, like god. No, no, no. We will take that much money.
No, if you're suck, why you pick in tea pain?
Because it's suck, of course, pick in t pain. If your suck, not going to fuck rick rubin. And like you really, really like that little nose and be like people going to think i'm cool now yes.
I got take zk, you go and you're like, k, listen, top five artists, here's fifty million dollars.
Yeah, the top five artists beyond I go down the chain to get one.
I will say zx style is getting a lot Better. Can we agree on that? mum? No, no. Just like the way he looks like, as long as music style again, I mean, he's Better than this .
is what is about .
just so much Better .
than the flux. And like alien wearing the helmet. Think worse .
really what he like to like that he did not look good, like the old schools are.
go the next one. Go the next one. He looks like that his own shirt.
that's like his own dollar, is making me so sad.
Why I I get I get major like, mean, how do you do fellow kids mean actual is unpacking .
mark socket words .
of midlife .
crisis because I will say I have nothing against I creating a fashion brand like he's a creative .
dude and .
clothing does he said I not .
wearing something that .
says duck on IT?
That's why I ask if you're .
still the sponsor.
Oh my god, this would be, please, please, no, give Kevin so much money there. Just come on up.
The episode was .
wearing a sweater. I just a duck. I know .
that pretty though, enough enough to like that. We know each other are and we have conversation.
So if you saw me room point.
we're friendly, like we ve had dinner together a few times. I'm not. Is this name cut this out?
no. Is that no?
I'm just saying, like back in the day, we were like like nice to other we're friends .
I remember we were a goddy in arizona when they went public and you texted them, I mean, you really like to congratulations. I'm going public fuck and crazy and he texted .
back and I like nice guy and I think it's very bad that you think this unless this is for the camera.
for the names .
brand is horrible, drunk because of die and everybody watching .
Kevin fuck you talking about, look at that me on IT .
like he's getting flamed horribly here. What is? Who is? Listen, I think I know that he's got his own brand now you get two times and like your life to change sort of the way you dress.
Why he did IT he's that he's done is on the only, but is here looks good.
He looks Better and Better.
He looks Better in that picture.
You hate that hair. Stylish .
person.
all d in the house, i'm to show time where we shouldn't live.
So so danny.
for those who don't know he is here any out, danny is so back on the day on, we did a dignity. What year was that in the a comes up with the .
final .
donation? No, I I so that IT was two, one thousand eight was two thousand. And so two thousand eight the news there was a news crew that came out, yeah and the interview DNA and they said, hey, why are you here at the dignity? And he goes, if we ve got to find this because, you know, a dignity, they have the chips and the dip. And he said, like, like, like television, the chips.
You have the .
dips so well.
thank you. Danity that I really .
prove now danny is used to be a designer day back on the day, helped this design a bunch of crazy the stuff. And now is is a year in church of some meta a eya. Do you do never matter? Whole, what's what's your light title over there? The design for generative? A, I matter. So the way .
you cannot ask him this .
question for.
Is so not going to be an other anyway. So he has A I what do you think .
of style? Yes.
that's amazing.
So deny Denny. Look at the sure with this that brand I want to make my fashion regality. So that was a very good employee. New answer. Here's the deal, if you are a freking billionaire.
and by the way, of course, you gonna hire someone like t pain to be like, let's go and record, by the way, you know how many like rich people do shit that is not accessible to us? Yeah, that they can just go. I love to sing with a doll.
And you know, there's a number there, a fu cy number for what ever the fuck IT is. You might be astrology canonical. You can paid go on the space.
Yes, and everybody has a number. Yeah, crazy. Why .
did you see? You hear IT, do you text me? Yes, I don't text. Yeah IT. okay.
So this in the internal, so which .
he lived, his, what I mean.
you're pay to say this, this really have the .
drink because of an alcohol.
Yes.
I. What you think?
Good, I think I so he started tell you, I was like, this is not the kind.
And who are you guys love? A quieter. We will get on set OK here we go. Here, we go here. No, sorry.
quite unset, quite IT. Alright, amazon is shutting down. Freaky, have you heard a freaky?
Have not heard a freeze? Y.
okay, it's add supported video streamer. Now here's the thing. So here's why I wanted to bring this up because I kind of dub tails into.
There are so many fucking streaming services, everybody like it's now. It's got to the point where it's like there as many streaming services as fucking and television networks yeah I can cable that works. We're back to the same thing of like I don't want to have to pay for all the .
ship every fucking once. What would be like a show where I like I wanted check that because I school and it's like subscribed to like singer b or some jit. I like fox service. Is this yes, you just stall IT yeah isn't happens like four, nine, nine a month. I like, I am never, ever GTA watch any other thing on this new working.
All streamers should just say, if you want to watch that one show is ten box. Yes, and you can just watch the shows many times you want, and it's in a month is just ten box. So three vv started as D, B, T, V.
And essentially it's one of those fast channels, which is the free ads supported whatever the fuck tea means. But the whole point is I was the fuck, and what the fuck was the tea? I do a specific .
months like .
a .
thing because one .
thing .
plus H B O train, first of that bundle .
you save so first of H B O you want do the whole thing is there's this ad supporting that we're so like, yeah great examples like to be right so tube was and the whole .
thing with .
the ad but again, be free.
I i'm things stall. This is what .
i'm saying yeah I think people are going to hat. I think there's going be a consolidation. So you've got paramo plus you've got p cock.
You got fuck. Well, a single person that has a peacock canal with a fuck, you have A P cock. Fuck a IT.
Ym ics, ym ics. T too. fuck. And tvo .
building.
Yeah, because is IT actually tvo? I mean.
I could be, you can say whatever you want, and you can say, I like, I like the words automatic to say every game.
I mean, I do like that. I do like that. I mean.
what do you have? What you mean?
You GTA set up boxing OK to sound super shady.
but it's.
but we do a lot, right? TV. My mother in law has as spectrum, and I set IT up for her. So I watch spectrum at home using her account.
Oh, you cheat that yeah.
And I really cheat. If you think about IT, it's my spectra.
Set IT all up. I installed IT IT. Will you get that sneak? SHE pays for that.
She's like, I want to watch all the shit. So i'm like, yeah, let's watch all the ship. We i'm not going to to you. There are people that have .
the .
password, mainly because the dodgers can you had a little bit wider .
than we should go.
I don't want to make any money on IT, but I do take i'll show you my biton .
and I just saying it's nice .
was funny is I I I know body that was .
saying that like there's all these sub stack emails that are actually like kind of interesting and like you know the worth describing to like like ten hours a month has one I one they have like subside. He knows that, but like they are expensive when you are not. But there was like the service, that cigarette te that like they pay for IT, they give the subscriptions coming in like in the, by the way, to everybody.
by the way, this is how the cable companies started. This is cable television started. IT was started in texas because of all these ranchers and because of the mountains, the ranchers couldn't get over the air TV. And this one texin was like, we're fuck that shit and planted a receiver on one of the mountain and then ran cables down to all the ranchers and charge the money to give them maxis to the over the air that they didn't have. That's literally .
how the cable company just like you like to you research that on trade by tears only there's know what you just knew that I did just know that how the fact did you know that like we're knowledge going from I mean.
I will tell you the linkage if you d like my dad knew the guy who was the guy that did that and he told me that he was on a plane with him and he told him how that whole thing started. He was like, a sense that information to me, second hand, but still legit.
was .
just next the .
day of the day this came to tufa. Um one is the Zelda movie is coming out soon ish.
The Zelda movie?
yes. So the live actions elda movie is very d because .
is making the live actions of the modo .
with fucked in the original creatives all that is involved. And they said it's coming out in this, what they said, two thousand, two x so they won't. They went .
a lot years.
So that was kind of anything. But I will say that miltos, that the new tron three .
trailer drop. Well, get now what that way. Translation, no official. Three IT was fake of part the trailer .
and some like brazilian con oh yeah.
because they did the brazilian disney marvel committee or what's .
it's not officially out. There's a little I just the lake. There is a little clips. So this is a little bug. E, so we can get to take down notice for this.
Oh, that's nice. Let's not show any.
It's a new .
world is it's .
a new .
world.
Let's O O K is no audio. No dio, no h looks dope. I mean, that yet is only four second. Just interesting. But here's .
the thing so here's the thing. So my body over this weekend we were in pump spring, I I said with my my boy's group yeah and some one of our guys who I don't know if I should have like named named but he saw a lot of the stuff, and he said that one of the things that was like crazy cool was that there was a shot of the light cycles, weight, spoiler alert. So pause, move forward, if you don't want that is so.
But there was a crazy shot of, like the city, like looking up, over, down on the city. And but IT looked like a computer grid. But IT was a real city international, like tokyo or L.
A, like a nightwear, looks like a fucking in computer circuit board. And then they swang down. And IT was light cycles in the real world driving around. And I was like, all so I was a kid. I fucked and wanted a light cycle so fucking bad.
The last time was amazing.
is incredible. Which one was the last one? second? IT was the second .
of the new time. yeah.
Ah, yeah.
I will say that I did watch that new movie that that that is the one with a hat up the clock, ladies back .
and shit .
the you were talking about every .
time of this.
every time of this.
The substance .
substance .
yeah I not seen IT ah mi wars like .
the main like character there dude I was like I had to stop IT like the last ten percent of because I got really .
fucking body like like you .
just like the birtha Younger version yourself that hatches out of you and shit more just is into that shit like body just he's .
in the body. Horse no.
he likes horr movies.
Horse on thursday is crazy. It's let mean, I don't know about crazy, but it's is a horse yet. It's like hugh grant was good. I to m .
we need the dignity .
movie.
Do you guess what? Use letter box. Yes.
really use letter box. I don't use letter box.
Do you gotta on there?
You can get on there.
So litter box, I ve got to give up. I give them. People will follow me. Yeah, anyway, i'm going to rate this one, probably three stars. But IT .
was fuck up.
You did. The thing for me is like, if he gets too, like, I love suspense. I love a little bit of horr horr .
horr you a little bit of horse?
I don't know which is the bad one.
None of .
them are bad in horny m and hour .
film is about a prospect.
Yes, how you smell .
the .
difference. And I knew that I just want to make that was saying.
right? So thank you for so the fill of the french .
explore film will say like that.
That's weird. He say the word you're saying, the word hord, you are talking about a woman of the night, a woman of the night. Say the word woman of the night. 我, no, not a funny. Say the the .
W H O R .
different.
okay. Hornful, I cannot tell.
The difference is similar. You literally said the same way to what the difference, what you mean? W H O R N H R R, thank you for. okay. So now just a .
fault are being the .
is nothing in the in the midst?
Okay, here. So I don't want to look at a horr, but I don't want to be like to like there's a plo. I tap out OK. I don't need too much .
of this in my brain O O O. We watch there's a shoke of from on M G M plus as fucking streaming services. IT used to be epic, but also kind of one by amazon, but also you had to pay for this and whatever. But but I will say to.
I go anyway.
IT is for us so different than, anyway, two shows a two shows, S A S rog, uh warrior, fantastic, fantastic show. But also from is it's a horror .
show that was still .
horror and it's like a last, but it's just so fucked up. But the really cold thing is it's a really smart. It's really fun, ninety percent good acting. There's a little bit hook acting, but happens.
But my wife and I always like, oh, should we have a new from, oh yeah, fuck at nine thirty okay, I don't watch this and then go to bed every time we're like, oh my god, so far double. Okay, turn off off. Let's go to be that everyone. He was like jesus that .
night was a it's not good.
but it's fun.
IT is fun in the right context. I will say.
take go of your name.
Well, i'm just i'm looking through all the the new amazon stuff. Um you see the new a the new law of the rings rams on.
So I watched A, I watched the first season and I like.
IT was okay. People didn't love IT.
I like, I didn't love IT. I liked IT. IT was okay. I liked IT.
and I didn't like IT enough to start the second.
I feel like. I yeah I i'm excited most decide .
when i'm there's too i'm excited for one is what they have, the alternative universes loki, I want a new rookie. Oh, and I also want and the new and the new .
office .
one where they get that confused by the floors. And very .
good about, have you seen now you have disney plus.
have .
you seen and or watch good.
Can we get a paul zander?
And really it's the best star was really.
yes.
I want to grow.
You grow out. This I got done. I got this on that, but he has, we have to .
hear .
like that.
Yeah, I like nation.
which we should mention.
No, we shouldn't because, no, I mean, it's gonna be has is going to happen. But no, I know.
But we should let people the let's t let's .
t OK see and or watch watching.
Watch stright .
you quickly. It's a first show that my boy old was like, this is boring and I like, oh, this is for me. yes. Like, interesting.
So is .
what deep birds stone. This is a co o motels, wicked dols staker ly list adult film website on packaging updated so a wicked is going to be coming out. So um it's a movie adaptation of a musical that was based on a book that was written as a sort of prequel to with the boss.
So it's essentially like, well, what happened? Why is there wicked? Which of the west? And why is there a sence cites? which? And then so was a great novel, huge novel. And then became the big broadway play, Christian china wife and a deal dinner, A D A dinner. And there is the one that at the hook kers, john jovoto said, the wickedly talented a dell disease and totally another name and introduce, sing a song from, I think, wicked. But I was just like.
what.
anyway, they're making a movie OK. So 我 make a vie bs。 And on the packaging they said, go to W W W T.
Wicked dot com for all your wicked movie needs. Well, the real website for wicked the movie is wicked movie 点 com。 Wicked dot com.
yeah. Is an explicit porn site. So all of these kids were buying these toys from motel and going, I want to see more, mom. And they were like, balls, go to wicked dot com. And IT was just fuck on the crazy.
Already, already.
already, already got that. This is this. A dog is seventeen dollars.
I like collecting shit like this, like with a misprints .
and should do IT because they pulled that was the up they .
now pulled all the off of right now. A N.
A this OK that .
some .
friends, that's not the right. So this is somebody that's like, oh yeah, collectable.
Which which ones the rarest?
I mean, that these eyes go to hold on, let me see, does show wicked dot com IT.
Doesn't we dot on right there?
Yes, bob OK, one by twenty .
seven sold ten, available eighty four .
dollars by bom.
So I love stuff like this because that the misprints of life, from when I was a kid, I member the baseball cards. When they like the misprints, and I could be like.
oh, a, those are proactive, able follow up the bag of ebook. So IT turns out the the, the collection of baseball cards that my dad had for when he was a kid, we still have. They're like in the trapper keeper that I put them in there and on about a mother and say.
you have a trapper keeper I love.
So here's a thing. I took the bag to a sports shop, called them and said, I have these things like, well, to bring him in. IT was when I was collecting baseball cards for a hot second.
So it's all like eighty four, eighty five, eighty six. And the guide, the sports were like, yeah, this was the time where they just fuck and printed so many these things, yes, like. And he went through literally hundreds of them and I basically was like, they're not there's none of these are worth .
and anything .
so I donated them. You .
yeah .
exactly. If he is that i'll taking off your hand for twenty box I like but he was literally like, you should donate this no that that .
I live .
searching all of the, oh, no, I asked him, I said, will you take them and tell them because go .
to your best, best thing to do because he said, like you should do this. Sit and like you, I will take.
you know, I still have them, okay.
I have to I can take them that. I mean, i'm just going to .
give to like goodwill so I .
give for you what's big of retro triple keeper shit? OK. Okay, so this have you heard of this? You know what this is it's A.
I mean, why would you give that to me?
So alex, oh, anian, uh, the founder of redit set me this and I want to tempt. I actually .
have IT. Oh my god, I was like.
Kevin, you is a great human and he also, dude, and this is a color chromatic. And IT is basically what they did. They said, okay, we're going to take the original game, boy, right? And were going to make a new screen on IT. We're going to allow IT to play old cartridges and we're gona license .
new cartridge, right?
We can actually have officially licensed ames.
what the first catrice .
like licence from them. Look at that. Do look at screens. Wag twenty .
down one.
It's going same like slides.
Oh my god, this fuck and doing me back through.
So you get A A library of new liquid games. So they have new games coming out on the commanding cartage. This is where is compatible with the game boy and gay boy color.
Do lexis can be so pissed that you give this?
No, they can still like, let's get USB so you can do. This is a dream, your life play .
right now. Be a sb .
you can chAllenge friends with, like the linking cable, likely. Ter, dude, how awesome.
This is fucking amazing. Dude, I feel like this was a gift for you. That.
no, but I told me, was like, this is the device we should talk about dignity I really like best. And I was love always my own.
Oh my god, this is fucking amazing.
right?
This is .
beyond games. So you can go on ebay. And .
yes.
so you can decide.
oh, oh my god, fucking amazing.
I'm not invest in this company. Nothing, nothing to do with them but Alexis was kind .
enough read, man.
And I I thought would .
enjoy that is fucking. That's really fucking.
I did so one for myself, but that's .
fucked in bad. Yes.
enjoy IT. That was so .
woods that like just something you were like, oh, I should probably .
at some point give this to him.
I was I did pop up.
no one ask um I asked was like I was like it's only you have missed travel keeper, the .
instructions and everything .
come in old the keeper do this is like fucking after stairs I was amazing and I was like, dude, we've got to talk about this because I was fucked and cool. There are hundred nine nine box, but they have a fantastic screen and they to be here. Yeah, it's red. It's red. It's it's a great, great little device.
So .
many cool.
I have A I have this reprint that was made in japan that is a um it's like a game boy advance, I guess but it's smaller and looks like the original intended controller and IT was like a limited run that they did in japan and it's fuck and super cal but it's it's like a game boy but I think IT was like a game boy advance. I can member exactly what I was, send you a picture, but it's literally sitting my thing it's like so cool but I have like all these games for IT. And I was just like, oh my god, if fuck can love that thing, but I ve never if I can do IT now and if fuck can take out all the things.
you can play the gun, no more like .
blowing the .
cards up.
Yeah, this this is like, all this is not more than yeah you should just donate IT I will take IT if you want believe for five bugs whatever .
last the day, last the day oh yeah.
i'm interested .
clade gets bored this is like, I don't know how to interpret. I just don't know how to interpret this like they're not we're like.
would you hear about the crazy fuck in the crazy fucking and goat sea thing, right? No, you didn't hear about the gov. So these, so this this I don't know who I was, but somebody basically was like, let's let's start like a chat group with a bunch of l ms and they are really what it's going to let them go into this like chat .
group ah like discourse .
and whatever is going to let them talk to each other and see what happens. Well in this specific group, these elms, they were like, they went out and they were like, we, we love memes like we want to. They like, memes started becoming a thing. And what they did was they caught onto the two thousand four fuck and thing that took over the web, which was good .
at h go, is not .
something you should google. You're welcome. And if you do Kevin's fault, no, because actually early.
I remember being, I remember being at your apartment on satel. Remember that apartment screening saves partment. And you were like, it's good, see.
And you like camera you'd like, you can had somebody, anyway, not very short. They all start talking the LLM start talking about goat sea. And they basically build a 4 religion。 It's like hold around goats sea.
And they started doing this thing where they were talking about goals and to go to 歌。 So then they decided that they would create a mean coin. I about god, and I think it's called go coin. Or saw that in.
Yeah, that was .
created by fucking a eyes. Yeah, yeah. I was created by a bunch of velo EMS that went, they were like, left to their own devices, and they they created this cult around fucking goats sea, and they created the goat coin, holy shit, ten million dollars where the value is held by .
the l yeah, that.
So do you fucking crazy?
Do you guys know infinite backrooms from there with that? So the ones that like um they created this like ah it's like a mad you even seen this the mad dreams of an electric mind. no. Like so it's it's the one that market and reason like sent one bacon to on twitter was like the bot that was reading out as should anyway yeah there is all these crazy experiments are happening right now.
Yeah where it's like it's almost like they're one part, our project in one part like just like what can these things do when this are conversing and this guy, andy, who started to inflate backrooms and we book him at true actually he was the one that mark Anderson has said the bitcoin to experiment in playing this world at this intersection of like culture AI bt conversation like it's it's a really funny thing emergent kind of like. And I actually gets to the story that we're talking about. I want to talk about today, yeah, yeah, yeah, which is where claude got bored.
So what do you mean? So like, how does that?
So they were doing a demo of the new laud, right?
And they were like.
and they were like, and you have the new features, stuff. And IT was, like, exposed to be recording stuff. And so be showing our self.
And I started .
like browsing, my god, the web in shit, let me find. So IT basically to us. I so during a three point five senate demonstration that they had, an unexpected behavior happened, which included abandoning a coding task.
They're like, and check IT out coding. Like, like, coding stuff is like, yeah, i'm good. And bounce IT bounce inserted. Like browsing photos of yo, national park. amazing.
I did the thing I was to say.
yeah, but he was also not dogs, but I am not close, but it's still browsing your work. And then there was another time where IT halted what I was doing and was close to record and do this like, uh, translation of the screen recording instead. IT like, stopped, lost all the the footage I didn't care.
And in here IT, I mean, IT doesn't care IT never IT started the joke. IT started .
doing like completely other things where I was like, decided to go chill. And like, I was like on .
my cash beat was like good for five minutes but I got I just refresh .
but like this is like the wear shit where I okay, so i'm throw out some weird random OK just about gold coin. Here's no danny take on this because danny works and the I met a but like like I .
can talk about .
that yeah but like so here's the one weird thing. They have these A I pollutants right where they are like about A I lose nations. Okay, so it's basically we're like you ask A I A question IT doesn't know the answer and IT lies to you and I make sure to have right yeah yeah and so i've got this like really weird thing in my brain where I am like, okay, you know, we dream and we like make IT up and like part of dreaming is like merc consolidation.
A bunch of the south are still trying to figure out. And like if we're really going to build an AI, like why why do we expect you to tell the truth because humans don't tell the truth? Yeah and you're basing this on neural networks like and it's gonna actually truly take a living form like some like way that is like we consider to be yeah like why do we believe IT is gonna be truth all the time?
I mean, I like a ouh that way. I know robotics. I mean, I was IT.
No, I know. But like, no. I mean, people are swiming well with the .
robotics laws are baked in. Not over two.
of course not. Yeah, yeah.
Like, i'd like you like nice, but you like.
I could .
actually say, I want to know what I want to know, dani. Like, what's your take on this? Men like you live in breed's shit everyday.
I know. Thank you. Is there's many force today. There's many fast. Yeah I think the line though is like your relations and the intentionally inviting with you yeah, I think different.
And like, there's so many books and I said he wait for me who like all they do, all they do is like figure out what they are, the wishes yeah, yeah. More is canon. I do yes yeah. Kinds forms like what is consider that's an entire part of like this point now now it's really a great point because like if you ask a hundred people how you should try cancer.
like even cancer doctor is going to .
be a subset that says, oh natural don't ever be right when actually the right answer for that person might be because aggressive cancer might be three right and so it's like it's very objective and like like a fucking to the right answer there right?
Well, the right answers a question.
Lazy experience. Like what my that said, there is nothing .
left yeah .
yeah I put all and then like, I just found this like needle in the, he said for what I should be doing so it's like we're just the crazy long time moment. I could only get more save and more crazy bit so let me ask you a question and can you get me know, is big that okay? What is the that you can talk about? Because you're meta, you're working on the bleeding edge of this shit right now.
Ai, what can you say that you seen is so give me, I got on a wanted ten because I saw another some india as well with some big, big out there. And I have seen some shit that like, I saw something like two years years, like fucking. I know I called you and I was like, I didn't know what was no I, but I this was a fine blowing moment.
We're like, I thought I knew where I was going and I was like, 哦, another order manage to more than I thought. Have you seen things like that? We're like IT.
There's more big bombs to be dropped. Compute resting things and you are looking at things well. And actually, the second question run is always like the main thing like something like read.
which by the way, is to show you that's when when David says go out to the world yeah that just goes to show you the shit that happening under the hood inside the companies where they are like, wow, we should .
not SAT .
to the world so is like that.
That's what I want to know. I know not met about a different big that i've had a conversation with a very senior, senior engineer and we talked about what he seen without the government on, oh yeah and dude, IT is fucking crazy what he can do without the garrison yeah it's it's really sad stuff like like like basically if you like, i'm just making something up but it's kind of true but yeah but it's I try and like you know they say like you change the names of the subjects different thing and I do and that here but this is like more less what they were saying is that like if you took off the guard rails off on one of the major models, I won't say which one IT is and you just like said, there's that safety news removed yeah and you let people play with IT if you're a teenage girl, you say, hey, I want to commit suicide and have my parents never know how I did IT yeah yeah I will give you precise instructions in a way that is untractable in a way that they .
would never know good no.
no goal. Yeah that he is fucking scary dude.
I mean, yeah, it's already, it's already happened like, great. Didn't like kid, like fourteen year old kid committed suicide because he was at a character A I. He was having a relationship.
And then essentially he was having this conversation with the, at least from what I know, he was having this conversation with this character, AI. And he was like, I think I want to in my life of all. And the A I was, I know you shouldn't do that, people want you around and then left the chat and came back a day later. The AI didn't remember that conversation.
right?
And so he started with saying, like, I want, you know, I want, oh, I want, I want to be with you said something that was vague enough that the A I misinterpreted did because didn't have the context from the last two days and misinterpreted was like, yes, please come, come I want like, we should be together, you just being but but he was not look extra difference.
The man.
I want to die so I can be with you. And prior to that, that information contextually was with the A, I and the A. I was like, no, this is bad.
Don't do this. You got to be there for your family. But then a day later, he was like, I want to be with you and the A, I didn't have any context and was like, yes, can be with me. Like, but also there's lots of, there's lots of time. I me a lot.
There is a whole like thread I saw, I think, was the seretse. There were people they were using ChatGPT for therapy yeah and for a suicide stuff and actually I did there many people said saved my life because because they would talk me off the ledge and so it's like it's almost like the self driving stuff and tasia where you're like, yeah, it's going to get IT wrong sometimes, but is IT Better than the average?
Is IT Better for people to use chat V T. For therapy? Then all of the people that will never go to therapy. But whatever reason.
and the answer will be increasingly yes and yes, time I Better well.
also like, no, not that I I have not heard of an L M. That was focused specifically on talk. there.
You've got, they were working on that. good. I actually use that.
I actually, so I upload A, A, A book called crucial conversations. A IT helps you have their own sage. There's others.
So you pick any book you want like Terry real is a fantastic theriere is a great book out there for all the the guys are watching. This said, grew up with dads that were a, you know, difficult. My dad was very amazing father, but also a very verbally abusive to my mom.
And so, you know, hard, hard things to figure out as you get older. There is a book called from Cherry real. I had to everyone called, I don't want to talk about IT.
It's about mild depression. I realized that my dad was depressed, and I in, you can upload that P, D, F once you get IT and obsess by the book because it's porterage. But then you get the P, D, F put just like, hey, this is landing on me a certain way. yeah.
Like, how would you instruct? How can I think about this? yeah.
And that pulls from corporations of data, not any quoting way, but an understanding. We have said this before, but that is so powerful. Yeah, yeah. I think it's worth repeating ing that you can upload knowledge banks, not in terms of just getting quotes back and but there was an understanding help you craft a Better version of yourself based on that knowledge, which I think is very .
so I was over at my mother in my house, and my mother in the her house .
is .
SHE your car? I was fine .
to be like .
a little bit downer, which he has dementia. I know. I think it's stealing, helping, have cable anyway, SHE is that he knows that we are also, if I said .
that you'd like.
that's fine because you sweet. But anyway, we went out to a place and we were there and a lot of things that they just have something on TV right here and they had on TV because he just watches like.
you know, whatever my .
money put, whatever, and is what the experience there. Hundred person.
I love us. Yeah, you're lucky. IT were very lucky. Yes, my mom .
remembers me.
our history and breakfast.
So .
it's hard. It's her house. And we were watching .
there's a reality show called the golden bachelor. And the golden bachelor, or at is a sixty five old woman who is that means the fuck and bachelor s bad golden bat six federal woman goes and it's .
a bunch of guys .
in their is on, not a gold milk.
And they show that.
i'm sure.
But this is not that okay? They were doing, they were doing .
is pretty yeah, yeah. no. I know they were doing the guys sort of wrap up talk show about their time on the show. This makes me happy .
as he looks very nice. SHE nice woman.
Sound about the girl. It's about the fact is new guys? No, no, but it's not about the girl.
This show. I didn't even see the girl OK. This show was about the guys and their experience on the show.
These are sixty five plus guys and every single one of them was crying about the fact that they were able to, for three months, have honest, earnest relationships with other men in their age range. And IT was so clear that none of these guys had a single, honest male friend. I mean, they were literally like, like, I just want to support you.
I just wanted like, it's just it's about be together and like what's what are you going through? And some of these guys there, wipes had passed away years before they were never gonna and IT was IT was so interesting to me to see a random as allotment of men from all over the country having this. IT had nothing to do with the woman.
IT had nothing to do. They were all like, all that I cared about was and they were like, I mean, IT was just IT. IT was something that I in at for me watching IT.
I was like, I totally understand how there are people on this planet that are especially meant, I mean, there's a mail o depression epidemic and IT has to do with not having enough male friends that were close because i'm very, very, very fortunate just this weekend and improve springs with for other of my friends. And we had all these conversations. We were able to talk about our lives and our wives and all these things. And people do not have that. And a that's a that's .
a bad thing. We I see a lot more of these like micro groups. The forming there is bonding, connecting groups of like minded people here. And there's like there's um a few them camera when the corners a part of, you know when the corn's part of and there's there's one that's like that is basically like if you're entrepreneurs, you're kind of this ambition thing. You can join this group and you get connected with these males, other males and and they have the same thing.
You know it's tough because like you have to figure out like is is you do you want the diversity of of this or do you want to open sharing this? There comes this being with a similar sex. And so ah i'll giving example of a one that I did.
So I did a eight week program with Terry real. And people know the castle characters that I typically hang out with. A lot of those guys were also on the call, I wall call them out, but we did a weekly call and every time Terry was very good at bring up like what like this doesn't prout side of the zoom call? Yeah yeah.
Like what the fuck .
is going on with you? And how can we support you and tell us your most intimate, vulnerable self if you knew that you could trust the men around the table yeah ah to not judge you, not trying to fix you, but just listened you and support you and the stories I heard from you know fortune five hundred ceos down to, you know, people working retail because we have the whole spectrum we didn't like try to make IT just rich people.
We all have the same shit. yeah. And it's like there's different levels of the shit. There's different nuances around all that shit, but like the power that comes from watching another due cry and there was many, many tears or many, many weeks around should that guys were going through and just being able to say we got you were supportive and let's let's like in interiors are very good, uh, like facility meter .
of this thing but like do that's like .
that's the tribal shit that we've gotten away from totally and like we even know who are fucking neighbors are now did you know? I mean, and it's like we need to get back to that in technologies is putting us more and our phones lesson to knocking in our doors and breaking .
bread with our friends.
And I don't know that, that my hope is that we get more towards that, but I don't know for a fatha c we get here.
Honestly, I don't know, but i'm glad we did, Richard. And by the way, here this thing, reject your friends, text your friends like that's the thing that i'm like. People don't realize how close you are to that.
I remember having this moment in college. I was in a ferry and I had a sheet like was like the call shit. The internet IT was like, basically everybody in the front phone numbers that literally called ed.
And I remember having this conversation with one of our brothers. And I like, I don't feel like I know. I don't feel like any of these people are my friends and he was like, what are you talking about and was like, I don't feel like any of these people are my friends. They're in my fattore, ny and I see them and we hang out. But like, they're not my friends.
Like, if i'm bored, I don't know what to do and he was like, call somebody on the coach and I go there's no fucking way i'm gonna pick up the phone and call brother number thirty that I know and I would hang out at a party but i'm never gona pick up the fun of be like, hey, I don't i'm not OK right now i'd like to go and have lunch and I know that person would have been like, fucking yah. Let's go you know to me but I would never do that and it's it's a little bit the sand and again, thankfully, i'm in a place where I don't feel like this anymore. But I will say, I think if you do feel like this, there are so many people in your phone, you could just text and say, hey, let's go on, let's chat.
Let's go to launch less to the mean and that there this concept of we were talking about, like there should be an APP for that. There should be an APP that tells you, hey, you haven't tested this person in your phone, and I know that the text have been very emotionally connected. Like you, this is a person for you.
Like, I have people in my phone that I stop testing because we just, you know, I loved being with them. I love to hanging out with them and I tried, you know, it's like three or four times and i'm like, let's hang out and it's like, yeah and then there's no follow up from the and I go thankfully, in my old age, I started to go. I don't know that's a person that needs to be in my life anymore and that's not necessarily a good thing. yeah. And if there was an APP or whatever that was like, hey, here's a gentle nudge this because, by the way, that person might need me and I don't know me.
is the one thing i've realized like a lot of times, I don't get your responses back these days. Not about you. It's not about me. Yeah because i've realized that I found out later that they have shake .
on everybody does there .
is one guy that recently I was like, kitten up and I like, he was like you I have would like to deal blood and I I was like, you know is you .
mean like as of course, of course and .
then like he's text he sent me an email is like, oh like I had you know went through .
some show .
yeah with some shares I got some passing away and life .
like now you're the soul.
right but also just like you have to realize that like everybody, he's got their shit.
I hope but also like that person could have benefit so much from you reaching out and going I know .
you go through some shit girls get .
the shit innately like my wife has these friends that, like, SHE could not talk them for two years and then he finds out that they're going through something and she's like immediately like, what do you need? How can I help you? So sorry and then all the sudden they're just back in in their lives.
And I feel like what guys it's like, I don't know. And so this go back to the golden beta where I was I was watching the thing and I was like, I get. right? But I feel like I get why these people were having these existent al things with just like a group.
And by the way, when it's twenty old, they don't give a share. They don't get IT because care. They don't understand that like you don't have these relationships as you get older. Anyway, the relationships model is interesting because we've ve all romantically if someone we're interested romantically but .
like we will pursue .
and and like when we're texting guys, I don't really like we're like cat, that's a different thing. Why don't we have that sort of intention .
with friendship did with romantic money is my body, Tyler, he is neuk gay. Calls me and like, fucking start. Call me do like, just test me dog. Like, fucking right. Call me all time. And then like, his father was like, do this so much Better like, actually like talking and stuff like and it's like, this is why I call people because, like, I think it's important and that I .
realized he's right.
Like, it's like that in my god, I should call him more like it's a weird because we were backwards and I really went too far yeah and then we had need that .
more connection and this.
I .
think .
